This is to complain you that BEST Bus No. MH-01, LA-5863 on[protected] at 11:20 PM at Vashi, Sector-17 has Hit my car Very Badly from backside, while I was Driving the car. The backside body of the car has broken.
Bus driver was driving at a very high speed and there was enough distance and the side for him, but he did not slow down the bus and ran from the place without wait.

    Complaint against BEST Bus Driver -
    BEST Bus Reg. no. - MH 01 LA 6452
    Bus Depot - DINDOSHI.
    Bus Route no. - not noted
    Bus running towards goregaon from Aarey Milk Colony.
    Date - 30 Jun 2010.
    Time - 8:45AM.
    At - Near Chotta Kashmir, Aarey Colony, Goregaon (E), Mumbai - 65.

    While I am traveling on my motor cycle, the above best bus comming from opposite direction, the driver driving the vehical as per his style, & trying to threatening small vehicals. I am on my left track, i.e. on reguler track, but this bus driver took the bus on wrong track & dash my vehical from front side. And instead of accepting his mistake, started rude argument with me.
    Pl. take necessary action agaist such rude & Negligence drivers, who are driving bus to threatening small vehicals, & then enjoing their success.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      Greetings...

      On 25th of June'2010,the Bus no MH-- 9306, from Gorai to Andheri Stn ( 259) , the conductor has not stopped Bus at Ganesh Nagar Bus stop and due to which one person has fall down while catching bus.

      Secondly when i have given him Rs.10/- to give me a ticket for Chincoli ( Malad - Mindspace ), he has rudely said that he dont have change of Rs.5/- and i have get down of the bus immediately.I don't understand how can every time passenger can get extact change for tickets.Then he has written balance Rs.5/- on back of the ticket and give it to me and said to collect this amount from Depot.

        Today 21st June 2010 I was standing at Indianoil Nagar bus stop for 45mins waiting for bus route 355ltd to go to chembur. I spotted the bus about 30mtrs from the Indianoil nagar stop at about 11.42am. The driver to avoid the signal at the Indianoil junction took a right turn in the lane before the busstop. Thereby we who were standing at both the busstops on JProad and Link road stops of Indianoil could not catch this bus after having waited for 45mins at the stops.Since there is no one to check them the drivers make their own routes. This has happened earlier also. The side route is coming out at DN nagar is used only in emergencies. Please admonish the driver concerned or keep someone to check if they are making their own routes and catch them redhanded. The bus must have left Seven bunglows a between 11.35-11.40am

          Like BMC, BEST's electric supply is not ready for rainy season, 10 hours are taken to rectify minor fault.
          No co-operation by BEST. They always do some temporary solution and it is stop working after some time (2 days).
          Again wastages of 10 hours in pushing BEST worker to rectify problem temporally.
          It's humble request to all news channel to have focus on this issue .

            Please increase the bus services from Gorai Depot to Mulun Check Naka Bus No. AS 458, 2 buses are already in Wadala Depo for repairing so only 6 buses are on working thats why so much rush in AS 458 bus every day evening 6 to 8 pm & morning 8 to 11 am. Please do the needful as soon as possible.

              Hello,

              This is a continuos act daily morning which we need to suffer. Even though bus no AS707 is written in amar palace's bus stop board, the bus will not stop. Its quite annoying in morning busy schedules. The bus frequency is 25-45min, in the same time if bus doesn't stop, pls assume.

              I would request to concern authority to look into this on priority basis which will be great help for the public like us

                Dear Sir,

                It is good to see that BEST undertaking has introduced additional bus routs for Airoli. 514, 522, 525, 509, 545 these new routs had helped a lot to passengers on these routs. It is my request if BEST undertaking make some moditifications in these routs,

                1) Bus No 514 should be diverted via Airoli Bus Stand, as 512 is already there & is well set, so 514 as it is a short rout should not have great issues and will help SECTOR 1, 2, 3, 4, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 20A, 20B commuters to direct access to Bhandup Sonapur, Nirmal Life Style etc.

                On similar fashion

                2) Bus No. 522 should be diverted via Airoli Depot, as 523 & 525 are already there & well set, so 522 as it is a short rout comparatively will help SECTOR 1, 2, 3, 4, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 20A, 20B commuters to direct access to Bhandup Sonapur, Bhandup Police Station, Kanjur etc.

                And once in a next 2 to 3 month, construction of road in Sector 16, 17, 18 is done, there will be a smooth traffic.

                3) Bus No. 513 should be terminated there at Airoli Bus Stand & should be extended there from Gawanpada, Mulund till Teen Hath Naka on 373 bus rout till upto Mulund bus station/ check naka. It will help many commuters on from Teen Hath Naka to Mulund Check naka a directly access to Airoli. As NMMTs 100 No bus already running on the rout of Gawanpada, Mulund to Vashi Rly Stn. & from Airoli Bus Station to Mahape there are 595, future from above request point 1 & 2 514 & 522 & also various NMMTs buses are there including 100 No & 7 No.

                  Hello Sir/Ma'am,

                  BEST buses being the most widely used and convenient commodity of public transport, the website (BEST Undertaking - http://www.cgrfbest.org.in/bestundertaking/), though under construction could make certain basic aspects available that would help the public drastically. Some of the features that need to be made available as soon as possible are as mentioned below-

                  1- BEST Buses Time Table. ( Time Table for AC Bus is available however, the more often used, regular bus time table is not available. Hence, on the same lines as AC bus time table, a regular bus time table needs to be published.)

                  2- Public Feedback and Grievances. ( Since the website is under construction, but made available to the public in its beta stage, it is important and useful to provide an avenue where by you could seek feedback from the very users of the site and the public that uses this mode of transport. In addition to this, addressing important if not trivial grievances and difficulties faced by the public with the availability of an avenue for posting grievances also needs to incorporated.

                  With these two important aspects being requested for, I am sure I am reflecting the opinions and requests of a lot of people here using the same mode of transport. It would be greatly appreciated and helpful if these two are addressed at the earliest.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I am travelling from Borivali-E to Worli daily by AS-2 buses, which is run by Magathane depot every morning. In morning from this depot only 3 buses are available for Borivali people. Yesterday (19/05/2010) in the morning they have not sent the buses of 8.30 AM & 8.50 AM., When i have called up at Magathane depot, first they said that Buses were already sent to Borivali National Park Stop, After I shout they said that they do not have sufficient Drivers to run the buses.

                    Now my complaint is if they do not have enough man power then why they are taking Rs.1500.00 per month (PASS) from us. They are not providing proper bus facility to publice.

                    moreover they have shiffted all A-70 buses to mira road/Dahisar, So that the peoples from Borivali/Kandivali will not even get the standing position in that buses !!!!

                    Please any responsible pserson from BEST authority can answer this ??

                      Dear Sir,

                      Myslelf Mrs. Prachi Vikrant Jadhav, working for Hindustan Construction Co ltd, had been a regular commuter of Bus no 603, for the route, Bhandup Village to Hindustan Stop. Today I when I was catching a Bus at 1.45pm (Date- 14.05.10) at Hema Park Stop- Bhandup East, Bus was in speed above 40kmp so I waived the hand in air, driver acknowledged it and he stopped the bus for about 5 to 7 mtrs ahead of the bus stop, by the time I could walk down till the entrance of the Bus, driver immediately started the bus without taking any commuters inside the bus.

                      Then I got frustrated and I have immediately taken auto rickshaw and followed that bus. Then I got hold of that bus after 2 stops (DAV College Stop) and I managed to enter.
                      Driver was in immense hurry to rush the bus n was not ready to accept his mistake. He didn’t disclose his name. So I have noted down his batch no as follows- 17583 and conductors batch no as- 45775. Bus No -160

                      Now this has become the regular practice of drivers especially during afternoon times causing lot of problems to commuters.


                      I have managed to click photograph of Driver and Conductor both. You are kindly requested to issue strict warning against them so these practices will not be repeated in the future.

                      I am a regular commuter of bus 603, I want to complaint about these bus drivers and conductors, who waste immense amount of time at last stop (Jai shree krishna), despite knowing that the frequency is less…and keep people waiting for hrs…I notice this everyday as I, live at last stop. There are times when two (603) buses are waiting at last stop and starts the next schedule together. There is no fix timings for this bus and its not because of traffic, its because of the time these bus drivers waste. Working or elderly people face inconvenience due to this. Please look into this, its a request.

                        I was travelling by bus no. 707 from bangur nagar to nanavati hospital. Yesterday being the train motorman strike the buses were crowded like anything.

                        I got a seat to sit in the bus at juhu circle at the last row. The bus was still packed i hadn't bought the ticket neither did the ticket collector (master) come at the back to give tickets, so i could'nt get one.

                        Ticket checker got in the bus at cooper hospital stop, I got up at mithibai college to buy ticket from the master who was still in the miday of the bus passage, the ticket collector asked me for the ticket i said i am going to take it, and he it was my fault that i boarded the bus at bangur nagar n didn't buy ticket till mithibai college, n that i have to pay fine now.

                        The very fact that i was still in the bus n did not leave the bus without ticket, still the ticket collector did not let me buy the ticket and charged a fine of 110 rs.

                        I travel by bus daily and today being the crowd in bus i could not take the ticket as i entered the bus.

                        the ID number of the ticket collector is 187133. The ticket collector does not have any right to fine people in the bus while they do not have tickets.

                        I request you to have a look in the matter.

                          Bus no. 164 starts from Dharavi depot to Maharana Pratap chowk (Mazgoan Depot).

                          The first 164 bus of 7.45 a.m. runs very irregularly from Maharana Pratap chowk (Mazgoan Depot)

                          Most of the times it is canceled and either the 8.05 a.m. or the 8.25 a.m. bus runs.

                          Numerous complaints have already been given to the Mazgoan Bus Depot master.
                          He says that the master of Dharavi Depot speaks with him in a very disrespectful manner
                          when he calls the Dharavi Depot on whether the bus 164 has departed or not.

                          Already the frequency is less and people have fixed job timings.

                          So the first priority should be to atleast run the bus on the timings specified and then if possible
                          increase their frequency.

                          Bus no. 164 starts from Dharavi depot to Maharana Pratap chowk (Mazgoan Depot), and from Maharana Pratap to Dharavi.


                          The164 bus of 9.40 a.m. runs very irregularly from Maharana Pratap chowk (Mazgoan Depot) adn from the past 8 days there is no bus at 9.40am and also the 10.05 am bus. we are facing a lot of problem because of it.

                          Plz take some need ful action for the same. i am facing this problem from the past 3 years. plzzzz help

                            though i had lodged complaint with the BEST authorities against a juice vendor doing business near street light pole No.16 near preksha sarees, dsp road, dadar east mumbai 14 no action has been taken to stop him from using the residential connection for commercial purposes. the name of d.v. malkar has come into picture who is supplying connection to the illegal juice vendor. once action was initiated but seems that malkar was not fined heavily because of which he has again given the connection to the juice vendor. many a times person from BEST comes for taking the reading of the meters of bhagwan bhuvan but has never bothered to see from where the juice vendor is using the connection for his mixture. BEST staff are govt employees and they should take care of the people and not allow chori of light connection instead of allowing such business to flourish under their nose. action be initiated at the earliest and site kept under surveillance permanently and malkar be fined heavily.

                              I am very happy that we have AC bus facilty these days and it is of great help to travellers like us who stay in Vashi and work in goregaon.

                              My complaint about the bus service is ;
                              1) Compared to NMMT buses fare is high in BEST
                              2) AC cooling is not at all effective and when we tell the conductor he says this is due to the external temperature whereas if we travel by NMMT this problem is not felt and ac is very good.
                              3) Driver is very slow and can save atleast 15 mins if he drives with passion.
                              4) For availing bus pass we are suppose to visit the bus depot. I dont understand why cant we get monthly pass in the bus itself.

                                This is regarding the nuisance created by bus drivers and conductors of AS 302 bus conductors and drivers. I regularly travel by this route and bus. Last two days i had very bad experience traveling by this bus. I generally catch 6.56 p.m. bus, which is from Mahim depot. On 15th April, 2010, Thursday, there was loud music playing on the bus. I requested conductor to stop or low down the music. He did not do it and said that those are Sai Baba bhajans and could not be stopped as the Bus driver is doing his pooja. I could not understand what kind of pooja was going on while the bus was in motion.

                                Another bad and horrifying experience was yesterday, i.e. 16th April, 2010, Friday. Again loud music was on in the same 6.56 p.m. bus from Mahim. Conductor and driver were different this time. I was not well and had a terrible headache. I requested conductor and driver to stop the music. But they argued saying other passengers wanted to listen to it. However, i asked everybody in the bus whether anybody wants to hear it and thankfully nobody wanted to hear it. But still they didn't stop the music and continued playing it loudly. Later on while i was getting down at Sonapur, Bhandup bus stop, i was talking to a co-passenger and the driver argued saying that he is getting disturbed as i was talking and the argument went upto the level that he even got up from his seat and tried to hit me. Luckily there were some good passengers who stopped him and i was saved.

                                The driver was not getting disturbed by the loud music, but was disturbed by my half a minute conversation with a co-passenger. This is really shocking and upsetting.

                                I wanted to complain about it so I asked for the batch/Id numbers of both, but as they were in fault, they refused to show me or give me.

                                We passengers use a/c or special buses for our luxury so that we can utilize that time in doing our work on the phone or on the laptops. But in return, this is the kind of dadagiri and harassment the passengers get.

                                I believe that all the drivers and conductors should be taught as to how they should behave with the passengers and should be told that the A/C buses are not for their personal use or luxury.

                                I request the management to take this matter seriously and take strict action against them. Also if any passenger is having problems listening to the music, it should be stopped immediately.

                                Nuisense — Difficulty to co passengers

                                Sir,
                                On 11th Dec 08, my entire family travelled by Sampark Kranti express boarded from Panvel to Alleppy. It was horrible to remember because our so called Cammandos (NSG)and some Army people created a havoc situation in the train. They started consuming alcohol in the train continuously and started misbehaving with fellow passengers.Especially a group of girls sitting next cabin was afraid very much, finally after complaint, the TTE came and shifted them to sleeper class. Why the authorities are allowing such type of hoolingsm in the train.
                                Reasonly terrorist attacked Mumbai and NSG did some good work, that is their duty. that doesn't mean that they are heroes and they can do any nonsense anywhere, concerned authorities must take stern action gainist them.Especially those who consume alcohol while travelling.

                                  BEST Bus No. MH01 LA5031 with driver Badge No. 8371 (Name: Sameer) Route No: 461
                                  The above BEST BuS number with the above badge driver hit our car at 9:30 pm Apr 16th at NSE --Goregoan area. Our car was standing at the signal and the BEST Bus came from behind and the driver who was rashly driving hit our and smashed the side of the car and broke our mirror!!!!
                                  Further he behaved rudely, said bad words and threatened us!!!!!
                                  Just because they are in the BEST Bus these drivers behave as if they own the roads and get the power tohit anyone on the road and escape easily too!!!! Hope someone in the BEST takes strict action against this driver and such rash driving!!!! We do not get either the reimbursemnet/repair money nor could we act anything against other than raise our voices in this forum!!!!

                                  True, I was a victim to a very similar incident today which prompted me to search for similar posts. There is unfortunately no system that takes care of such incidents. I hope there soon comes a system where someone can take responsibility of BEST BUS mishaps and reimburse the amount of damage to the victims as it seems inappropriate for us to charge amounts to the drivers in spite of their fault!

                                    I am a regular commuter on Route no.310 plying between Kurla West and Bandra East. Route no.310 mainly caters to the newly developed business hub at Bandra-Kula Complex which is yet to develop fully. This route is a source of high revenue for the Undertaking. However, it is not practicable for the Undertaking to provide a comfortable ride to the aam aadmi, as the road is quite narrow and crowded towards both the ends of the routes viz. Kurla West and Bandra East. In this connection, therefore, there is suggestion that a new (circular or triangular) route, covereing Sion West Railway station, Kalanagar, BKC, IncomeTax, NSE, ICICI, MTNL, LBS Marg and again to Sion West Railway station maybe considered. This would definately reduce the burden on Route no.310 and also facilitate the office-goers and others on both these routes.

                                      Respected Sir,

                                      This is to inform you that some of the bus team( conductor + driver ) has taken the bus service as their own private property.It is been found and observed ( experienced ) by many along with myself that the bus never comes on time at the stop. I stay at yari road, and catch my bus from machlimar stop, you can imagine be what time limit the bus should come on stop (machlimar) from its yari road depot. but some time no bus on time and some other time two bus consecutively comes expelling the time table.

                                      I am talking about the bus number 221 Which arrives on macchlimar stop in afternoon 3.05 pm . It is the fresh incident which took place today on 10th april 2010. i was waiting for the 221,i wanted to go to Andheri. around 2.54 pm. one bus came with nuimber plate 221 which was not going to Andheri station but to juhu depot. I was expecting the another bus on time and yes it did came on time, But before the stop arrives the bus pass away the stop without stopping at the bus stop.

                                      My question is what the hell the reason was that the bus did not stopped at machlimar stop . this is not the first time that has happened this is the regular deed that bus driver and conductor follows.I had to take the rickshaw , i observes that the same bus was taking all the stops, than what the reason was that it did not stop at nmachlimar stop. i found the bus, stopped at the signal and due to my ragging anger i did gave bad words to the driver. but that is not going reverse the things out.

                                      i want to take the firm action against the Driver and Conductor of the bus route no. 221 starts from yari road depot and reaches at 3.05 pm at machlimar.
                                      Sir this has been happening quite often that , queueing for long long time and yet the bus do not come at bust stop.
                                      I recommend that to regularise the servcies of the yari road/versova to andheri stn---- andheri stn to versova/yari road

                                      Really best is not giving any support to publice. conductor driver has taken the bus service as their own private property. Really both of very cruval. They are not giving any inquires reply to passenger's questions. They are really showing reduclass. Please take the actions against both of them.

                                        I travel daily from mini nagar bus stop to national stop daily since last 2 years every morning the ticket for the same is Rs. 4 today morning the conductor No. 65696 in the Bus 297, (MH-01 LA 6191) gave me the Rs. 10/- ticket. When I asked him the reason for the same he was exceptinally rude and did not listen to anything i had to say. He almost shouted on the top of his voice which was embarasing for me. I always pay the right amount for my ticket and if there is an increase in the ticket price i do not mind paying that either but the behaviour of the conductor was really insulting. Please do the needful so that he doesnot harrass passengers when they as him valid questions. The bus was almost empty at the time as it was early morning 10 : 30 am.
                                        One passenger 6Rs.& 100.passengers 600.Rs. Daily Incom to Conductor.
