Hi,
I would like to complaint about the BEST conductors or masters who do not halt the bus at the bus stop, especially bus number 85,92 etc and also they do not let the passenger board or get down at the stop properly. Many a times it has caused injury and risk to life as the masters or conductors do see the passenger about to board and rings the bell even before he or she steps in or gets down at his or her stop.

I would request the consumer forum to take action and ensure that such practices are stopped so that there is no inconvenience caused to passengers.

    on 15th june 2011 7.25am morning i hired bus no 174 with ticket no [protected] from azad nagar stop.....the bus ahead went from anshortcut way,which was a wrong way when i said that its was a wrong way the driver did not change the route instead he made me to get down the bus on an unknown street....because of it i had to sufffer a lot and got late to my college also.

      AS-422 of BEST is very much irregular bus despite increase in number of daily commuters BEST is not increasing the frequency of the said bus causing more and pathetic problems to regular passengers.

      I may even loose my job because of reaching late to the office everyday by this bus. This bus comes overcrawded in the peak time and even in the interval of more than 40-45 minutes and bus driver and conductor rudely keeps us stranded on the road. Most of the time bus breaksdown in between the way to the office (Its very often)

      Keeping our problem in mind kindly make its frequency adequate enough to take daily commutors to their respective destination in time and with comfort.

      If you can not, please expres your inability to improve services in public and admit your incompetancy shamelessly.

        It is quite inconveniet for the BEST electricity consumers to stand in long que and make payment at collection counters in this heaty summer.

        Why does BEST is not adopting the modern method of online bill payments for the benefits of the consumers and undetaking itself ?

        Who will make them act upon it ?

          Hi All,

          More than a complaint I would like to make an suggestion that I daily travel from Hindmata to Chandivali and I alway take 25LTD which has got a very low frequency. Since there are many people who travel daily from Hindmata to Sakinaka or to powai find it very difficult to board the bus. Since 25 lTD starts from backbay its already over crowded. So request you to please increase in frequecy or Since the nearest bus depot is sewree so request to at least best can introducy a new bus which starts from sewree to powai. I am sure which will yield increase in revenue..

          So request you to please look in to this issue.
          Please increase the Bus Frequencies for BEST Bus Route Nos.-- 44, 48, 42 as the frequencies of these Buses is very Less --One bus in one Hour which delays our works.
          Please change the route of BEST BUS No. -44 from the Existing Route of R.C. Church to Worli Depot to the Original Route of Museum to Worli Village /Worli Depot as during the Evening time, we get much Hardships.
          also, Please change the Existing route of BUS No. --50 from Dockyard station to Love Lane to Lal-baugh to --the Previous Route of Dockyard to Byculla Bridge to Lal-baugh etc.
          Will you Please help us in traveling in safe and Easy Manner?

            I had boarded bus no 299 from Borivali st. Before entering the bus I and my mother had asked if the same will go to Magathane. The answer was yes. After I boarded the bus, i asked the conductor if he has change of rs 100. He told me yes and I gave him Rs 100 note. But to my surprise the ticket that he gave me was of Rs 25 each. When I asked him why he has gvn me ticket of rs 25. he told me that the same was asked by you. I had never told him that i want Rs 25 ticket. I met Mr. Sawant at the Depo and he told me to lodge a written complaint for the same as he was not able to take any decision. i have lodged complaint and no. is 71. I want the excess amt of rs 42 refunded back to me.

              Suggest AC bus on Rout # 491ltd

              I am also using daily the BEST bus no. 491Ltd to traveling from Kashimirah to Seepz for reaching my office from last One year. It is the only direct bus to travel on that rout hence I have no option to use any alternate rout bus.

              We ( I & the many other commuters who are traveling on same rout ) have some complaints & suggestions are as follows:

              Complaints:
              Bus frequency is too less on particular rout i.e. rout no 491 Ltd. The frequency between two bus is normally 30 mints but some times among 1 to 1.30 hrs.

              Suggestions:
              Need to expand the frequency of bus rout number 491 Ltd during pick & non pick hour because this bus is always full with passengers even non pick hours.
              Bus conductors should have to halt the buses each and every stop where bus stop is available.
              Most Important is that to start the AC King long bus on this rout. its very important for us specially in the summer, there is lot o[censored]s coming from Brambhand but also lots are coming from bhyender they specially change their buses for this rout and we all know that just because of seepz gate no 3 and 1 a big amount of passengers using this rout, so please provide us an AC BUS for 491 or 706.

              Kindly note the above complaints & suggestions from me & many other passengers and reply ASAP. Please help us.

                Hi,
                On 20/04/2011 i have suppose to go Panch Kutir(Pawai) from Dindoshi. I saw 460. bus no. in Dindoshi depo thats why i awaited outside bus stop ( Dindoshi Bus Stop) of Dindoshi Depo. when bus arrived to stop. it doen't take halt on stop. i thought there is no stop for this bus no.460 but when i saw stop board 460 no. was mentioned. i got another bus immediately. luckly bus no. 460 stopped at Oberoi Mall signal. i nail the bus from front side get & asked to driver that why you had stopped bus at dindoshi depo stop. he said very loudly me to nail this bus from other door. i said i want to know only this thing why you havent stopped bus at last stop. he started to abusing me. when i said you dont have right to speak all these nonsence. he hit me very hardly on my hand. some commuter supported me & insisted me to make complain against bus driver. when i asked him his indentity number & name. he didint tell me anything but bus conductor supported me he given me his identity number is 80304. bus no. MH01 LA5425, (2306). the time when i got bus was 16:15. & route is Dindoshi Depo to Mulund naka. i lodged complain in best. the complain number is 949-20/04/2011. some commuters was supporting me by giving his name & number for witness thing.

                Please take action against this very misbehaviour attitude.

                Best bus drivers are most rude in behavior and never understands commuters difficulty. They at times appears are reacting unnecessarily of the normal situation may be due to their personal and family conditions but questions remains how far its true to carry such attitude on public services.

                  Respected Sir,

                  This is regarding excess electric bill we are getting sine December 2007. We had replaced our meter in October 2007 and since then we are
                  receiving monthly electric bill of more than 2500 Rs, and now its almost more than 3000 Rs. Before October 2007 it use to come between 600-700 Rs. I want to know why
                  this sudden hike

                  I was out of india since last 3 years and was shocked to see the hike in my monthly electric bill when i came back.
                  As middle class people we absolutely cannot afford such hig bills, especially when our electrical consumption doen't even amount
                  to a fraction of what is being charged from us

                  Our previous meter number is C033032 and new meter ( which we are currently using ) number is F061551.
                  I request you to please look in this matter seriously and get our meter replace since i am sure it's a faulty meter .
                  I have lodged a complaint with BEST but i am not getting any positive response from them .

                  I appreciate if this matter o[censored]nfair excess billing is resolved at the earliest .

                    This is to bring to your kind notice regarding the mismanagement of the BEST employees at Andheri West Bus Depot.

                    The travellers wait at the bus stop for such a long time, but they don't even bother to let us know which bus will be going.After a long stand in the heat when tired passengers sit in a bus which is standing near the bus stop the driver & conductor takes a different bus after this bus is full. Y can't they inform us which bus will be going next?? Many a times it happens that 252 & 266 buses they take together and for next 20-25 mins there are no buses. They are busy or anything we could undrstand, but just wasting time gossipping, chit chatting, laughing doesn't make sense. Inspite of the TC present there, the situation remains the same.Is it that the travellers don't have value for their time??or is it that whoever is travelling via BEST is a government employee who can waste time any how.???

                    As a suggestion would say that you can keep a display board like railway stations have, where we come to know the timings of the buses.

                    Please look into this matter on a humanity basis atleast and please do the needful.

                      It has been observed many times that BEST route # AS 505 route from CBD Belapur to Santacruz are cancelled on many ocassions specially on public holidays. Usually the first bus starts at 7.20 from CBD but due to public holidays it is cancelled. Not only 7.20 Am bus but 8.00 am & 8.30 too. I would like to keep BEST managment informed that all the companies are not closed on public holidays there are some people who do work on public holidays. I'm sure this will not go on deaf ears & some action will be taken. It will be great that the BEST buses specially AS 505 do work as per the schedule or else lot of people will switch over to NMMT as they are more punctual then BEST services. Its not only my opinion but there are so many red faced commuters who share the same opinion.

                        Dear Sir/Madam, We are finding problem of bus service No.C-62 Exp route Gorai depot to Mulund. Every morning we have to wait for half and hours some time of hours also but bus not coming on time. When we approach Gorai depot GRD saying bus just left, driver not there, bus not there etc.etc. we really don't understand what was the problem everyday ?? why cant BEST streamline their service ?
                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        I Ms. Dorothy Kinny residence of Manori Village, Malad (W), travel by bus no. 272, as we have only 1 option of traveling till marve, we face a lot of problem in getting this bus.

                        The bus drdivers for this bus are very rude, and don't remove bus on time from Malad station or from marve, sometimes they even remove bus from marve and turn from Orlem, so we don't get the from malad station.

                        They halt around 4 to 5 buses at marve but do not remove even 1 bus for long time, even if there is much of crowd, we residence of manori face a lot of problem because we have to face the eselworld crowd aswel. It becomes very difficult to get the bus.

                        We are looking forward to your help. We may even publish about the Bus no.272 in newspaper.

                          Rude behaviour of the BEST conductor.
                          Today I boarded the BEST bus no. 341 from Marol Village to go to Sion. Despite of the bus being empty, the conductor did not stop the bus at the bus stop and I had the jump into the running bus. Though my wife could not board the bus as she could not run and jump as I did. When I asked the conductor that why he did not stop the bus there, he said in a very rude manner to go and ask the driver. Though I saw it myself that the conductor rang the bell for the bus to skip the bus stop and keep driving. When other fellow passengers supported me that the conductor was wrong, he just denied of being wrong and continued talking rudely.
                          The conductor's batch number was 34057. I am sure that there were other passengers as well at the bus stop waiting for the bus since long, but when the bus came it did not even bother to stop there.
                          This is not the first instance that something as such has happened to me.
                          Hope some action is taken again the conductor and an appropriate feedback is given to them to make sure other passengers are not harassed the way I was today.

                          BEST — NOT STOPPING THE BUS ON THE STOP

                          I am ANKIT SHAH. I daily travel to vashi from kurla.
                          Today at around 7.40pm on St.Lawerence stop at sector 17 - Vashi, Bus no.507ltd(MH 02-L-9983) from nerul to santacruz did not stop at the stop and when i asked the driver the reason he and the conductor answered very arrogantly.
                          This is happening everyday over there.

                          BEST head official please kindly take some strict action against such drivers.
                          Today i caught Bus No.226 from Borivali to come uptill Magathane, I was suppose to get down at Magathane, but one Senior persom was standing ahead me, so was not able to get down, but the Bus driver didnt even stopped the bus on the bus stop, So i just told him that i wanna get down but that he just shouted at me "MUJHE KYA SAPNA GEERA THA KE TUJHE YAHA UTHARNA HAI", I dont understand y this B.E.S.T people have appointed the Youngsters, Who dont even have the manners how to talk nor even follows the rules. I THINK THEY SHOULD JUST "KICK OUT" THIS . They dont deserve to be in Government job.

                          I would like to complaint on this bloody young drivers, who dont know how to talk nor even knows the rules & regulations.

                          I request the B.E.S.T Authority to Kindly take action on this drivers.

                          I hope the B.E.S.T. will do the needful & will provide good services.

                          BEST Bus — location of the 373 busstop near R-Mall(mulund)

                          The 373 bus stop near R-Mall (mulund) is located right outside the bus depot, right next to a public toilet, it is highly embarssing to stand at the bus stop, cant the bus stop be shifted inside the bus depot?

                            Thie is complaint against driver of bus no 351.
                            Today, 05/04/2011 I was standing for bus towards TATA POWER/REFINERY(Via Diamond Garden) at Chembur Naka Bus stop.I am regular traveller on this route.At arond 07.25 hrs one 351 bus , having No. MH-01-L-9396 came fast from Sion side and completely ingore the Chembur Naka stop and rush ahead.This is the regular stop of 351 after diverting buses via Diamond garden due to mono rail work.
                            I saw one of my colegue in this bus and called him on his mobile and asked him to enquired about this. Driver was telling , that Chembur Naka is not stop for 351.
                            Is it Correct? Last More than one year I am regularly coming from this stop. and Every buses(351,356,431,367,26) which are going towards refinery via Diamond Garen have been haulting at this stop.
                            Please advised the Driver and conductor of this bus.

                            Thie is complaint against driver of bus no 213, 312and181
                            daily at 1635hrs to1700hrs we wait for bus towards Sion at budha vihar (kalina) Bus stop.we are three passengers working govt.office regular traveller on this route.above mentioned bus came fast from kalina side and completely ingore the budha vihar stop and rush ahead even though show hands to stop bus.This is the regular stop of 213, 312and181 I saw one of my colegue in this bus and called him on his mobile and asked him to enquired about this. Driver was telling, budha vihar (kalina) that is not stop for 213, 312and181, these numbers are written in small letters this I brought to notice to the ticket checkers they promised to take necessary action but 15 days are passed but no bus is stopping at the stop. is it the policy of the BEST to ignore the passengers at stop ?
                            Please advised the Driver and conductor of this bus stop .

                              I LOST MY VALET ON 25-3-11 WHILE TRAVELLING ON ROUTE NO.271 , I LOST MY SMART CARD NO.2802 [protected] ALONGWITH THE QUTERLY PAYMENT RECEIPT WHICH WILL EXPIRE ON[protected]. I AM HOLDING PHOTOCOPY OF THE SMARTCARD AND RECEIPT. KINDLY LET ME KNOW THE PROCEDURE IF ANY FOR DUPLICATE SMART CARD WITH THE DUPLICATE RECEIPT.                                 I am a regular commuter from wadala depot..... boarding bus no 151........the bus stop is so filthy and dirty due to local slum dwellers(staying opp the bus stop) urinating just behind the bus stop. due to the stench it is virtually impossible to stand at the bus stop even for a minute. This is a regular feature for the past 2 months.I earnestly request you to look into this matter as soon as possible....awaiting your positive reply

                                BEST — Unclean Bus Stop

                                1st Bus Stop on L. J Road, near St. Michael's Church. This Bus stop has filth on its roof. Mosquito breeding place.

                                  I have no hopes from BEST because this must be a daily affair for them. But still registering my complaint becsue the guilt of not having done anything to protect my own interests will haunt me throughout.

                                  This morning on my way to work in my 4 wheeler, when i was a Ghatkopar signal about to take a right to go towards Shreyas, while waiting at the signal, there was a BEST Bus honking to go left. There was no palce to move. With an edge's gap, the disgusting driver move forward banging into my car, damaging the taillight and causing a huge dent in my car and rushed to the left of the junction towards Ghatkopar signal. He had the nerve to speed away wavingt his hand. I felt so helpless. The vehicel number that i could manage to note is MH01 AP 0344. This happened today, 7th March at 8.30 am in the morning. Are the authorities listening ? Will anybody even bother to do something about this ??
                                  Hi, I boarded Bus No: 276 Vehicle No: MH01 L8831 at approximately 6:00pm from Kandivali West Mahvir Nagar Parijat Stop to travel Charkop Sector-2. Pepole who were boarding the same bus included school children aged between 6-8years old, females and 1-2 men. Though the driver had stopped the Bus at the Bus-Stop, suddenly moved the bus without conductor intimating the driver through the Bus-Bell. Well we were trying to get into the Bus, one of the male commuter banged on the bus harshly that is when the conductor realized. And through the bell indicated the driver to stop.
                                  On this after getting into the Bus, I asked the conductor how could the driver do this when he has a mirror to view if commuters are getting int the bus or not. The driver was so rude as the person who had banged the bus had his school going child, when questioned about his act. The driver replied on it saying the child is not injured so no need to worry. THAT IS VERY INHUMAN. The driver is serving the people here and cannot have such attitude towards the commuters. Please educate your staff through Soft Skill Training in order to how to treat their direct customers. I am very much disappointed when I come across such incidents and feel sad to know where are we going when compared to other countries. Not expecting a dynamic change but certainly as a citizen of India would be happy to see the change. Here no doubt the conductor apologized he was not the one who was guilty.

                                    Today i.e. Tuesday, 22nd February, 2011, around 9.45 am, when I request at bus pass counter whether my bus pass is ready. BEST staff at bus pass counter, Sion shout in such way that i am beger asking bus pass. Please note that BEST is using customers money wihtout interest for 5 days and you do not have any authority to behave like this.

                                    I appeal to higher authorities at BEST to please investigate and look into this matter. Please ask your staff to show courtesy while issuing bus pass.

                                      This is Aniket Mhatre a resident of Mumbai (parel).I caught a BEST bus no.17 ltd at parel on 07/01/2011 at around 2.00pm....Just when I was waiting for a bus conducter to buy a ticket BEST inspector appeared and asked me to show my bus ticket...I clarified him that Im going to buy a ticket and I do not have any intention to cheat....He did not let me buy a ticket insted he made me get down at the next bus stop that is Hindmata....and charged me with Rs.44.00 worth fine....

                                      I have already launched a complaint at wadala bus depot...and would like to register a same over here....

                                      For your reference Im attaching the receipt of the fine that I had to pay as well the complaint copy....

                                      Please help me sort out this as I find It quite illegal that someone is charging me fine before I could actually buy a ticket....

                                        BEST BUS CONDUCTOR : BADGE NO 93161:

                                        I, Dr. Mrs. Dhargalkar, was still in the process of boarding Bus Route No 27, Bus Number plate No MH-01-LA-5592, (no 2440) on Saturday 04.12.10 between 1.30 pm - 2 pm at Asian Paints stop, when the conductor rang for the bus to be started. There were 2 other people with me who were still to board. When I told teh conductor that the gave the go-ahead to the driver early, he arrogantly said "So what happened? U boarded, isnt it?" And I said "I was still hanging out when the bus started. This is too much." He again arrogantly said "mach, mach." When I was about to alight at Bhandup station stop, he arrogantly shouted "lavkar, lavkar!" The conductor's badge no is 93161. He was also arrogant with one passenger over some currency/ change issue.

                                        Please ensure that this arrogant conductor is brought to book.
