I am a live in Bhandup (W). There are having buses of 606 from Bhandup stn to Nardas Nagar. Issue is that it not having frequecy as compare to demand of passenger. Also buses has come after 20 - 30 min gaps and bus having rush as buses has not stopped at the bus stop after the first stop of Bhandup Stn and conductor & driver is rudely behave with the passengers. kindly resolve my problem as i will be very thankful to you.

    I was waiting for bus in night around 11.45 pm. from tunga gaon stop (andheri), and bus number 392 dint stop at bus stop as we were 2 to 3 people standing for the bus.
    Same experience we r getting at Divine high school bus top at Andheri east. Every day between 6.10pm to 7.00pm buses are packed in back side.
    one or two person can catch the bus & for ladies no one can catch. We around 8-9 ladies stand for around 45minutes. Many times bus driver never stop the bus at bus stop. Conductor stand onlyin back side & never ask passenger to move. Yesterday bus no 185, 533, 443 & some other not stopped at stop. For us not possible to take batch no of conductor. So at least best should appoint TC at this STOP. As we have least optionbest should take care of ladies and should start ladies bus from stop at peak time.

    Hope senior will take care.

    We assume that BEST is public transport & running for Public benefit.

      This is to bring to your notice that AC bus AS 440 - Wadala Depot to Borivali Stn. East gets frequently cancelled - especially in the morning. The reason quoted by bus conductor & driver for cancellation is due to unavailability of AC buses in the morning. Also the AC buses provided for this route are very old, rickty and not in great shape. On a couple of occasions, bus drivers allocated for AS 440 don't know the bus stops & have to rely on the passengers for this information. This obviously leads to issues like bus stops being skipped, etc.

      Strangely the unavailability of AC buses doesn't seem to affect the frequency & timings of - AC 503 which also starts from Wadala Depot. This completely ridiculous & not acceptable.

      It's high time for someone to asses this situation & fix it - increase the number of AC buses by adding new AC buses to existing fleet and ensuring the timetables are followed, along with bus drivers with sufficient knowledge about the route & bus stops.

      Complaint about the Bus no.421 which is containing the route from Ghatkopar Station to Filterpada.The bus no 421 always comes late. The frequency of this bus is 0.00minutes to 0.45minutes always in the evening from Filterpada & Ghatkopar too.Request you the please do the needful in this case as soon as possible.

      Hi,

      I am a regular commuter by bus 524 from Vashi towards Borivali. I board the bus at Punchkutir to Pushpa Park. On Friday, July 25 I took the bus at 2:45 P.M.

      It was raining and the bus had around 10-12 Standees. I had some complaints on the conductor .

      1. Even though there were 10-12 Standees, the conductor himself was comfortably seated on one of the seats at the back and giving tickets. He didn't get up till my journey ended.
      2. My ticket fare is Rs.10, however he asked me to pay Rs.12. I told him that the fare is Rs.10. He, then, glanced at me and gave me a ticket of Rs.10, without a word. It was't the case that he was not sure of the ticket fare. Had that been the case, then on me questioning him on the fare, he would have verified it, through the chart in ticket box, which wasn't the case.
      3. Going further, he did not allow the bus driver to stop the bus at any stops on the way to allow passengers to board the bus. As any STOP was about to arrive, he would just ring the bell. There were passengers to board the bus, who kept running after the bus in the rain, but the conductor was ignorant. So the driver stopped the bus only at the STOP's where there were passengers to alight.


      Would like to attract attention of BEST towards this.

        I am travelling from Brovili to thane station Bus details :-bus no 700 Number plate MH -01-LA-6370 time morning 5:28AM date: 17/Aug/2010 ticket no[protected],

        Charged me 20Rs for Laguage for 2 sarees 1 dress 1towel i asked conductor 1 common man if traveled for log distance how much he can carry laguage with him he argue with me that i don't know You have to pay. He not reply and charged me.

        Please taken action on this I am looking for positive response.

          Dear Sirs,

          I am a resident of Veer Sawarkar Nagar, Near Nensey ST Depot, Borivali(East). There are almost 4 bus stops in our Nagar including Nencey Colony stop and Ondhav Nagar stop. Here we have 3 bus routes to Borivali Rly Stn. i.e. 301, 233 & 228(this is a long route bus till Charkop, Kandivali(West).
          Our complaint is that the frequency of these buses are very less specially in the morning hours and as the 1st stop of our Nagar is 5th stop of this bus routes starting from Hanuman Tekdi, due to less frequency many times we are helplessly seeing overcrowded buses passing by without stopping on our stops and this creates lot of problems to service going people, both men and women and even some school/college going children.
          Further, some of commuters traveling from Hanuman Tekdi/Ashok Van and who wants to get down at National Park much before the regular stop(to avoid a little walk) are blocking the gates on the back side of the bus though there is a lot of space inside the bus. The conductors of the buses have become helpless because of such commuters.
          On the other hand, bus no. 298 which was earlier running through our Nagar on it's way from Borivali Stn(East) to Rawalpada and which is having really good frequency throughout the day, now Depot Manager has changed it's route on just receiving some letters from Rawalpada Residents(I think there complaint is they don't get seats because o[censored]s but this bus route is hardly a 10 to 15 minutes travel in all maximum) and is now running from the Western Express Highway road which is just parallel to our Nagar road. On the highway road this bus is having 2 stops but as all the housing societies on the highway have sealed their fences towards highway for safety on both the sides and as there is no by-pass road for us to highway on almost 1 km area from Gokulanand Hotel till National Park, there are hardly any commuters for this bus 298 on those 2 stops. This is a huge loss for BEST taking into consideration our 5 densely populated bus stops on inside parallel road of the highway road. For the last two years BEST is losing this huge revenue.
          Sir, therefore, it is our humble request to you to change the route of bus no. 298 from our area and help us for smooth traveling and help yourselves too to avoid a huge money loss for BEST.
          Hope you will take this issue seriously and help us to resolve our problem.

          Dear Sirs,
          On the 26th of July at the phoenix mills lower parel bus stop my self and 4 other travelers were waiting patiently, between 5:15 pm and 5:25 pm we were aghast to see 91ltd bus going over the flyover, we could not do anything including taking the bus no. you are aware how long we have to wait on this route and if this is the case of best service, can the drivers can change the route for his connvinence ??

          Please investigate the above incident and make sure this incidents don't occur in future, and the driver is reprimanded

            The reservation of seats in BEST buses for women is biassed against women. Firstly in the age of equality, which women are seeking reservation has no place. BEST has increased the reserved seats from women on the right side to all the front 7 seats. The seats on the left are reserved for handicaped and women (first 4 seats). So, there are no seats for men in the front which means that men with ailments are forced to sit in the rear of the bus which is more jurky then the front portion. There were a few seats reserved for women. But by increasing the seats it is only going to increase divide in the society. Please revert back to the set up before August 1, 2010.

            I completely agree. Why have they increase the women reservation? If they still want to increase the women reservation introduce ladies special bus by the increasing the bus and not at the cost of male seat. Why have they lower down our common people(male) seats. Who have given them the right to do that? Is it what you call equality? This is complete gender discrimination. I am planning to take this matter to the court of law. I am sincerely looking for media support. How can I get help? Please help

            HI I AM RATNESH, I WANT TO COMPLAINT ABOUT THE LADIES SEAT RESERVED FOR LADIES, IN BEST BUSSES LADIES SEATS ARE RESERVED BUT SOME PEOPLE HAD REMOVED THE NAME PLATE SAYING ( STRIYANSATHI ) AND EVEN THE CONDUCTOR IS NOT BOTHERED, THE CONDUCTOR ARE EVEN NOT AWARE WHICH ONE IS LADIES SEAT IF THE NAME PLATE IS REMOVED BY THE LOCAL PEOPLE. KINDLYDO THE NEEFULL FOR THE SAME.

              My self Aparna Vaidya. I regular travel by bus from Mahim Causeway To Kabutarkhana (Dadar). I want answer that when I travel from bus no.201 machine charged Rs.10/- showing on ticket from Bandra station to Shardashram. But when other bus like 35 charged Rs.12/- Ticket shows travel from Kalanagar to Shardashram.
              I confused when I asked conductor he said arrogantly that Im not responsible for this, machin not shows your busstop i.e Mahimcauseway. I want to complain if I travel same distance why should we pay Rs 2/- extra.
              So, I hope you check this mail & solve our middle class problems.

                Idially we should have ladies special on office hours in the morning & 332 Kurla to Andheri there should be at least 4 Ladies Special buses running in the morning between 8.00 am to 8.45 am so that we can reach to office by 9.00 am. Otherwise we need to travel by regular bus & could not climb at all in the regular bus from Jery Mary, it is allmost like fighting for climbing in the bus & 332 regular buses are not holting majority time & those which are holting are not holting for sufficient time.

                  I and few of my colleagues are frequent traveler to from Shivaji Park to Metro Bus stop at CST road, which has only 1 bus for and that is 37. Past 1 month we are facing a lot of problem with the frequency of this bus. One bus leaves from shivaji park at 8.40 am in the morning and latter there is no bus till almost 9.30. requesting you to please at least start another bus or at least increase the frequency of the bus by 15 mins. If we do not manage to get the 8.40 bus we have no other option but catch another buses and reach the office which usually results in late marks.

                  Sincerely requesting you to look into the matter at the earliest.

                    I think the pictures tell the story. So I will just write 'its a shame.....'

                    This is the Bust Stop at Ghatkopar Pipeline (next to BMC Water Division office). Despite my complaint 6 months back, nothing has been done about this.

                    1. It's become free publicity zone for most of the politicians. Sometime the hoardings are so big that they cover the entie busstop. (See Img.05228)
                    2. The footpath was raised to install a new bus stop I think 3 years back.(See Img.0179). Still there is no signs of the new bus-stop. I have been a daily commuter on this route since last 5 years now. In fact the less important lane opposite 9 Andhrei link road) have new stops.
                    3. The buses are parked good 2 meters away (See Img.5232.) from the stop...so people stand on the road and not the raised platform. In a way creating a traffic jam on the road.
                    4. rain or no rain, there is always puddle of water near it (See Img.5232). Buses come and splash water. in rainy season it becomes very difficult to board the buses.
                    5. The backside of the old ruined bus-stop has become a dumping ground and sleeping area for beggars constantly stinking.(See Img.0180-83)

                    Sub.: Frequency of Bus No. 305 & State of the Ghatkopar Pipeline Bus-Stop

                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                    I have been regular traveler by Bus No. 305, running from Ghatkopar to Tardeo. There are two issues that I would like to draw your attention to.

                    First of all let me tell you that the frequency of the bus is very poor compared to the other buses. Buses are canceled at will and are re-routed to other areas. I along with some other commuters are suffering quite a lot because of this. Since there is only one bus going to Dadar (West) area, we don’t have any other choice left. We would request you to either start another bus which goes through that route or at least till Worli Naka or improve the frequency of the Bus No. 305.

                    Secondly, the stop where we catch the bus from i.e. Ghatkopar Pipeline Stop (adjacent to water division office) on Agra Road is really in a shameful state. You can see the attached pictures to give you some idea. I don’t think I should be writing anything on it since the photos are telling the true story. How can such a major bust stop be in such a horrible state? With dug pavement and a public urinal beside, it has become a stinking dump yard. Where most of the bus-stops have been replaced by new one, this one has been completely ignored. Also a lot of political pretty are using this remaining old stop as their publicity medium.

                    If the frequency of 305 was a grave issue, this one is even worse. I hope you would be doing something about it immediately or else I won’t have any other option but to turn to Media and publish these photographs in them.

                    Best hopeless — BAD condition of AS busses

                    I came from AS 461 from mulund to kandivali (08 :40). Even though we informed the bus drivers to not to bring the hopeless AS old bus as it doesnot have any pickup and it had crossed the limits of my and other commuters patience. for a distance of 1 hr it took 2 hr to reach my destination. My two days, my half day salary was cut from office because o[censored]r bad condition of the busses.
                    Repeatedly complaining about the bus, they sill ply on the roads. Iam really tired of complaiingtherefore iam producing the same complaint in the news paper against BEST.

                    Kindly take the necessary actions as daily commuters are facing raj of BEST people.

                      I have renew me and my wifes bus pass, and i also told to operator that change both o[censored]s bus routes.
                      but operator only change my routes from sahakar nagar to banganga stop and my wife pass remain without change routes, it is remain chembur naka to banganga. We are both work in same office, but because of operator mistake she have to go another way and i have to go another way. And there is no any system to make correction in the mistake. And now we have to go different routs becuase of operator mistake. So make system that whtever mistake happen that can be change. plzzzzz suggest something for this, if operator doing mistake we have to suffer

                        Sir,

                        My name is Ravindra. I am residing in Jijamata Nagar, Worli. I am working in the area of Sangam-nagar wadala (E).My working route is Jijamata Nagar - B.D.D. Chawl - Sangam Nagar. I have a monthly City Pass.

                        Bus no 110 , the route is BDD chawl to Sangam Nagar. Sometimes what happens, same number and same description bus comes. But, in bracket there were written PLAZA. If this bus will be going to PLAZA, why they write 110 and Sangam-nagar. People become used to number. If they see number, they are automatically are known where this bus will go.They don't read description.

                        If the above is going to PLAZA, why they write 110 and Sangam-nagar.Commutors get confused in this regards.They get into the bus by back door and get down from front door.Sometimes commutors drawn the tickets, conductor give them ticket, then tell them this bus is only for PLAZA. Then they get down in PLAZA and go for next 110.Then argument start. Somdays conductor keeps shouting PLAZA to avoid the confusion.
                        Why these confusion are happening.
                        My Opinion - if any bus leaving from BDD chawl for PLAZA. They should not write bus number and any other description. They should write "PLAZA" only.or decide any fix number for PLAZA.So commuters would be known that is bus will be heading for PLAZA. Conductors also need not to shout Plaza Plaza Plaza.

                        I hope this suggestion could be very beneficial for BEST buses.

                        I am kiran balsara staying at charkop, sector-5, previously bus frquency of 244 bus from borivali to charkop was good but I think that the bus frquency is reduced and we have to wait for bus at borivali station west for more than half an hour. I hope that best incharge should look into the matter.
                        Bus service of BEST is very poor in the evening from Anushaktinagar to Mulund/Thane. A person has to wait for more than 35 to 40 minutes to board the bus. Moreover the services are short routed sometimes upto Amar Mahal/Vikhroli/Gandhi Nagar. It becomes very inconvenient especially for the patients who come to BARC Hospital for treatment as either they have to wait for long to board the bus or have to change the bus since the service is short routed. Therefore it is requeted that proper frequency is maintained

                          Hi Best team,

                          Sardar nagar no.4 to Saion station. I was bit surprised as I was traveling with Rs.3 from, long time. I asked them is the fares increased? They said “no, it’s the same?. I asked them ,if I am demanding for a ticket for Sion station, its Conductors responsibility to inform me that the exact fare is Rs.4 & not Rs.3. Infact as the conductor demands change , I gave him a change of Rs.3. Ticket checked argued on the point that you gave Rs.3, so its ur mistake. So, please let me know is it my mistake in the same?

                          On the next two days, when I traveled from Bus no. 76 for the same distance & the conductor charges me Rs.3/ only. I asked the conductore twice , is it the right fare ? he confirmed the same.

                          I have a receipt of fine paid & tickets of next 2 days.

                          So, please confirm me the exact fare. Is it the fare changes when the bus no. changes?
                          If the fare is same, I need my refund for the fine paid.

                          MY NAME IS MAYUR JAGTAP. I DAILY TRAVEL FROM BUS NO 181. I TRAVEL FORM VAKOLA MAZID STOP TO CHAKALA. IN THAT DISTANCE DAILY AROUND FROM 7.45 TO 8.30 AM DRIVER ALLOWS PASSENGERS TO ENTER IN BUS FROM FRONT DOOR. THEY ARE NOT SENIOR CITIZENS, PREGANANT WOMENS, PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED OR BLIND. THEY ARE GIRLS AND WOMENS. IF WE ENTER FROM FRONT DOOR DRIVER EXPLAINS RULES, SOMETIMES SPEAKS RUDE WORDS. THERE ARE NO RULES FOR WOMENS. THEN SHE TELLS I WAS NOT FEELING WELL.

                            Location:Bus stop no.310 & 390 at Bandra(E),near Rlwy. Stn.

                            Heavy water logging remain present at the area where the queue is supposed to be made.Therefeore the commuters are unable to stand in straight queue at the right place.And forcibly they are making wrong que i.e.like a curve instead of a line.
                            This blocks the partial road width & hence causing traffic jam.
                            Additionally the acculmulated water is dirty,which fill inside the shoes & socks,which stink through the day in the office.

                              From Cross Perry Road to Bandra Station
                              I got into the bust from Cross perry Road, Bandra with my Father who is senior citizen. We went ahead & my Father sat on a seat reserved for senior citizen & I was standing next to him. We were waiting for the conductor with holding ticket money in hand. After 2-3 stops also conductor didn't turn up. Therefore I went back to take the ticket, but conductor refused to give me the ticket. When I insisted he said there's TC in the bus & you talk to him. He lied to the TC that he went ahead to take the ticket. But practically he didn't come. TC took fine from us. This is injustice. I was travelling from that route first time & I wasn't aware about the distance. Whatever conducter did was completely wrong & I request you to llok into the matter.

                              Out of 10 every 7 conductor are behaving rudely (Including AC bus conductors) always with passengers about giving change, not providing information to passengers, not stopping bus at stops. I don'tt know what the reason behind this.

                              Are all conducters are not satisfied with their work? Are they not getting monthly pay properly? Are they thinking that they are driving BEST buses are there personal assets and not the Government Body?

                              I request you to look into this matter to stop indirect harrasement towards Consumers/Passengers.

                                This is a complaint for Bus number 280 at Kandivali (west), from Station To Mahavir nagar, This Bus frequency is very less i.e. it comes after 20 to 25 minutes or some times half an hour. Mostly it hapens during office hours i.e is morning & evening, whereas I have seen in the afternoon Buses coming one after the another & going empty also. Mostly Buses are halted at the depot but they don't leave it & when we compain to the conductor he says to go & speak to the concern person in the depot. This problem is there mostly every evening the Line is so big & still they don't bring the buses which are halted at the depots. I think the frequency of short distance Buses like this should be more. The frequency of Charkop buses are more then why not our Bus 280.
                                Kindly look in to the matter ASAP.

                                The BEST buses which are very important transportation facilities in Mumbai there are very less buses which actually goes through the route of Bhandup to Hinandani/Andheri Seepz via Bhandup Shivaji talo were there are huge number of public who wait there for the buses daily ,if the buses can't be increased only the buses which go via this route should be increased and should be on time ,previously the buses 409 use to come at regular basis at every 20 mins but now a days from 1 mth it is not on time leading to inconvience hope someone can help .

                                There should be increase in frequency of 507,384 or 306 passengers who travel from ghatkopar to santacruz there really suffer a lot during morning .Due to office hour at morning bus are crowded till coming to ghatkopar it's fully packed ,if some scapes is there also some time driver didnot stop the bus .After 8.40 it is too hard that we get the bus at time ,if some time we get at 20 min or atfer a hour .Thanks a lot if you can resolve this problem

                                the bus frequecy is very bad
                                and the bus is too full

                                the conductor never stops the bus at the bus stop and also argues when questioned

                                Sir, I am daily travelling to my office by BEST BUS no.315, from Kala Nagar to Santacruz station East.While going the stop is at the original position.But when I am travelling back from Santacruz station(East) to Kalanagar, the bus does not stop at the stop which is shifted to highway due to road repairs at the MHADA office.Though the stop for 315 is at Kalanagar on the highway.the bus drivers purposely doesn"t stop at highway stop, causing inconvivience to passengers.Secondly I would request to increse the frequency of this route.Thanking You.

                                  This is to bring to your notice that the frequency of bus no. 308 running between andheri station to vidyavihar via INTL. Airport is improper . It is also learnt that so many buses of this route are being hired by L&T ltd. for their staff due to this their is no smooth service for general public.
                                  International airport sahar is a such place where custom staff , airline staff & airport authority staff is posted round o clock .It is therefore essential , their should be bus service after every 10 minutes. Nowadays people have to wait for more than half an hour for the bus & after that it becomes difficult to board the bus for old people, children & ladies.

                                  I agree with above statement that the bus frequency is very poor and because of that auto rickshaws charge a lot to go to international airport. I request BEST to increase the bus frequency on this route or start new bus to go to airport. I am sure BEST is loosing revenue on this route. They should start overnight bus service till Andheri railway station.

                                  Yes, I totally agree with the above complaints. This route has lot of offices as well and most of the people have to fall victim for the share rickshaws that charge Rs 15 per seat, where the actual fare comes up to 30rs during morning hours. ( Here is an online form to lodge complaint against this illegal share rickshaw trend. If somebody else want to take out the frustration he/she faced because of these weird creatures.                                     sir , i m residence of mumbai . sir best gorai depot has closed down the issuing of go mumbai adult pass without any notice . they are issuing only the student pass.the security guard are not allowing to see thedepot manager or any any other authority in this regard, and they are not giving any information about go mumbai counter in borivali. so please look into the matter and start the functioning of counter in gorai depot immediately. thank you

                                      I, Mrs. Sonali Sachin Kudave, on behalf of Kannamwar residents request you to please to please start a bus via eastern express highway till Millenium busienss park (MBP).. There are load of passengers using this route on a daily basis. We have to take up bus to get down at Bhandup Pumping station and have to wait there long since buses which take us to MBP (514, 525) are often overcrowded...so drivers do not botther to stop bus at this stop ....sometimes gents passenger takes overdue advantage of same to harass lady passengers....There are times when we end up stnading more than 45 minutes waiting for bus...BEST has started 509 but again that is very inconvenient. So on behalf of Kannamwar residents i request you to consider our request....There huge number of passengers travelling from kannamwar to Mahape between 7:00 to 9:30 am....please consider our request.

                                        This is regard with the Bus frequency of AS 707.
                                        Lots of people commute daily for Santruz via Malad, which is quite busiest and have many companies on road, as a result large number of passengers travelling through AS 707.

                                        Apart from this, travelling in normal 707, 210 is next to impossible for women atleast due to huge crowd. This is very bad on the part of Mumbai transport, to keep less buses where there are actually required, compared to AS 461 which starts from Borivali at every 5 mins...

                                        Whats the point in this. AS 707 buses should be strictly increased by BEST to facilitate the commuters and definitely it will earn more for BEST compared to other routes.

                                        I also frequently travel the route of Bus No AS 707. I agree that the frequency should be increased & the bus timing should be stretched till atleast 9:30 to 10 pm for the last bus.
