Dear Sir,

I, Praveen Kumar, having a Bharat Gas connection. I wish to state that My Dealer i.e. Bhram Jyoti in Meerut (U.P.) is providing very poor services to the customers and the person dealing with them are in trouble as First they are booking the gas after one month period from the date of delivery & the delivery is providing to the customer within/after 15 days of the booking.

This is the harrasment of the bharat gas customer as by this process there is a gap of almost one & a half month between the previous delivery & the next one. As the persons only having single gas connection are facing a lot of trouble bcoz of this process as i think one gas cylinder is not sufficent for one & half month period as the maximum period i[censored]tilised properly with 4 or 5 persons family is 30days but in winter season its also too tuff to use even for 30days while new connection are not available in the market. As in our case, we have booked the gas on 14.11.08 and got the delivery of the same on 27.11.08 and the dealer is saying that he will book the gas on 27.12.08 and which will be delivered in next 15 days atleast.

So it is requested to plz do something so that we can come out from this situation and if the dealer is doing or working as per the rules & regulations so plz provide me what are the rules or regulation for delivery & booking of the gas and also about the provisions regarding new gas connection. My information are as under:

    brahma jyoti bharat gas se delivery man se under wait(not14.2kg gas)cly mill rahe hain.complan karne par koi karyawahi nahi hoti.booking ke 12din bad bhi gas ghar par nahi de jati hai phone per gas book karane ke liya kai bar phone karma parda hai kyoki phone vyast aata hai mr.gourav phone nahi uthate or mishbehave se pesh ate hain.khai bhar mr sanjay chug se complan ki ghai to unhone bhi hamari samasya ka samadhan nahi kiya.lagta hai ki mr. chug bhramjyoti se suvidha shulk vasool kar rahe hain Humne 15.9.08 ko bhi complan kit hi jiska aaj tak koi samadhan nahi ho paya hai. Delevri man ko ghattoli karte pakre jane par malum hua ki 17Rs /cly delivery man se gas ajency per jama karaye jate hai jis karan wo cly se gas nikalte hai .gas ki booking ges delivery ke 30 day ke bad book karte hai . Gas ajency pe consumer ko bataya jata hai ki ek sal me 8 cly consumer ko Bharat Petroleum corp. se mil raha hain.       SIR,
      I WANT TO DRAW YOUR KIND ATTANTION TOWARDS CORREPTION OF OUR GASS AGENCY, I HAD ALREADY LOADGED A COMPLENT BEFORE FEW MONTHS TO YOU . BUT OUR DEALER OF GASS AGENCY ( EAST END ENTERPRISES, DILSHAD GARDEN, DELHI - 110095) NO BOTHER FOR ANY COMPLENT OR REQUEST.
      HIS DELEVERY MEN NEVER USED MEASURMENT SCALE TO WEIGHT THE GASS CYLENDER. THEY ALWAYS DELEVERED UNDER WEIGHT CYLENDER. TODAY e.i. 16.12.2008 HAS DELEVERED A CYLENDER 12 KG GASS + CYLENDER WEIGHT 16.7 = 28.7 KG.

      KINDLY ADVISE US TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. IF YOU ARE ALOS UNABLE TO STOP THE THEFT OF GASS OR CORRUPTION PLEASE WRITE US SO WE CAN MOVE TO HIGHER AUTHORITY OR CONSUMER FORAM.

        Dear Sir,

        I am your custmer of LPG GAS. I am your custmer since Dated 03.04.2008 & I want second cylender (DBC) on my Consumer No. 12792 . I am your custemer from your Dahanu's agent name R mayer Irani, Ramvadi, Dahnu (East ) Tal.Dahanu Dist. Thane. Actually at the date connection taken, he was ask me DBC will issued after 6 months, but yet not issued & he was ask me to wait minimum 1 year again. Please guide me in this matter.

        BPCL/GAS — faulty cylinder

        After continuous follow up got the cylender but the cylender is not fitting to the regulator . The Dealer is not responding the Phone . The dealer has a perennial problem of availability of stock . While asking the concern person a standard respond comes in Company is not supplying the cylender.

          lpg was booked on 24.11.2008 but till date it has not come.
          i have over phoned for lots and lots of time they told me that the supply of gas in adecuate. but i have seen other gas supply companies like ioc, pvt companies that they are supplied within 10 days.

            Sir,

            I have a LPG connection of Bharat Gas at my home town. Being a Military Officer and presently posted to Jammu & Kashmir Sector, I was not granted leave for almost one & half years and hence the LPG cylinder at my residence could not be consumed. Now, that it has been consumed, I went to the dealer to book a refill. The dealer said he could not book it unless I pay Rs 200/- for not booking a refill for a long time. He said on payment of Rs 200/- you would get half kilo of tea free or one LPG tube free. He also asked me to sign an attestation and pay the amount, which I obviously refused. I insisted them to show me the Company Circular or Company Rule Book Copy through which they are charging from the Customer for slow consumption. The dealer could not furnish the document I sought and asked me to come at a later date.

            Can a customer be charged for slow consumption?

              I have been booking gas on 24/11/2008.today it 15/12/2008. stil tody we did not recieve the gas inspite several reminders please look into the issue.
              hellow!!
              I m staying at bannerghatta road/post, @ bangalore, anekal taluka.
              I hv booked for my new gas connection at manjunatha enterprises at anekal taluka before 1yr. 7 months than they delayed and not given to me after that the agency had sealded.
              than now I hv contected Ganpatraj enterprises who is on temporary for our area, but they r not ready to give me new connection.
              since 1 yr. 7 months even after getting retion card we r not able to get connetion.
              please do need ful.

              am in vellore. i have been transferred frpm chennai to vellore becoz of some personal reasons. Actually My number is 12918. whenever i make a call to book a cylinder, atleast i shd dial upto 30 to 40 times. afterthat they r taking the phone. eventhough we r crossing this much tourcher, they wont even supply the cylinders on working days. only sunday they r giving. i have booked my cylinder one month back. till they didnt deliver it to us. i dont know whethr there r sufficient no of workers avialable. with this how we shd run or lifes with childrens. do pls. make a note on this complaint otherwise i shd go for court regarding this tourcher. we r paying for all . u r not giving it in free of cost.i need an immediate responce. pls.

                    I have booked my LPG Refil Gas on 11, 12 October through SMS using 56969 with the consumer No. 24798 at Suvidha Gas Agency I.L. Choraha, Kota but the same has not been delivered so far till today. All telephone connection of the agency are always remain close. Even the mobile No. [protected] of Sh. V.K. Jain sales officer of your renowned company is also switched off and not responding to the calls. DSO is also found himsel[censored]nable to deal with the situation created by this agency. Kindly do the needfull to crunch the empty stomach of the sufferers. Pl. give me reply.

                    Bharat Gas — no delivery in time

                    I am customer of Bharat Gas for many years now. Since my job location has changed from Chinchwad to Pune city, I have shifted my house & gas connection to Dhankawadi-Pune 411043 address from last one year. My Bharat Gas dealer is Rajaram Gas Distributors, Katraj.
                    My complaint is that: `This distributor has a rule that he do NOT accept request for refill before 21 days from the last cylinder delivery date. Further, new cylinder is delivered after 15 days after the request is accepted. This means every customer has to wait for minimum of 36 days for a cylinder irrespective of his actual consumption and number of family members in his family.
                    For instance, my booking was accepted after 22 days of last cylinder delivery. Date of booking is 14-02-09 & booking number is 161. My earlier cylinder has already finished 2 days back and I do not have new cylinder. However, I have come across some middle men who are selling cylinders at Rs500 to 550 each in black market. When I tried to speak on phone with the manager of Rajaram Gas, the operator refused to give phone to him and used very arrogant language. I do not have LPG in my house from last 2 days.
                    Please let me know that if the gas company or the government has made any rule that every gas consumer must use his one cylinder for 36 days minimum or it is a wrong practice followed by gas agency? What preventive measures are you going to take to ensure the supply of gas to citizens at government rates & stop this black market sale of LPG cylinders?

                      For last three months I am not getting gas supply on time even after advance booking for a month. Last month, my two of the cylinder were empty and food could not be cooked for one day at my home as gas was not supplied. I have contacted the concerned agency personally also no of times but they always say that they will supply but they never act on time. Last month they told a different story that supply could not be made on time as they lost customer data due to their computer system crash. After requesting and lot of persuasion, I was lucky to get one cylinder with the promise to deliver another in few days. But promise are promise in INDIA and there is no difference between an Indian leader and agents, like him.
                      Again after a month, now I am facing the same situation, my two of the cylinder are nearly empty and could not manage to get one cylinder even after meeting personally also not less than 10 times. First they say advance booking can be made only after 21 days of delivery of first cylinder. Now they are saying that they are not getting sufficient supply of gas from their company. Also they are propagating that this state is not getting sufficient gas supply as the state and centre government are not ruled by same party.

                      What is the truth, is there real scarcity as claimed by agents or bloody corruption/nexus between Indian economic terrorist(such as corrupts agent and officials, leaders etc. involve in illegal economic transaction) and company official/leaders/etc . Is the centre government deliberately reduced the supply to Uttaranchal, needs to clarify the situation .

                      indian economic terrorists - a group of people making illegal economic transaction at the cost of common man, they terrorised common people for whole life in one form or another . who will free common man from these indian economic terrorist.


                      Why there is no transparency in delivery of Gas. Customer should be able to track his current queue no and possible date of delivery etc with the help of modern IT solutions to minimise the corruption by placing effective system. ebooking of bharat gas is not operational.

                      KUMARHATTI - The LPG cylinders meant for domestic supply here were continued to be used for commercial purposes thanks to commercial users- gas agencies nexus. The authority concerned has failed to check the menace, hence it were domestic users who have to face LPG supply crisis quite often.

                      The domestic users complained that the usually they have to wait over month to get supply whereas as per norms one should get the cylinder within a week time after getting booking receipt from agencies. Ironically the domestic users were facing problem but the things were quite different in commercial users who got uninterrupted supply of cylinders.

                      The domestic subscribers were generally told of short supply, however who paid over normal rate got easy supply, rued affected domestic users. The concerned department should investigate the matter properly, they demanded.

                      The gas agencies were supposed to deliver cylinders at home but it has adopted the practice to deliberately creating panic like situation so that domestic subscribers would rush to agency offices and pay extra amount for carriage cost from their own pockets, subscribers lamented.

                      Ironically the mushrooming of road side dhabhas, eating joints and hotels along Kalka-Shimla national highway particularly in and around this town and Dharampur has increased the LPG cylinders demand manifold. The residential schools galore have further added to cylinder supply.

                      On the other hand the District Food and Civil Supplies Department seemed helpless to curb the practice. According to department officials the inordinate delay in dealing the detected cases was major hurdle in checking the cylinder misuse problem. The cases remained pending for long for further action despite department made time to time raids to check misuse of cylinders, officials maintained.

                      Unauthorized supply of cylinder to shop situated at yari road corner of agakhan Baugh. (Rupani Stall)
                      This is to bring to your kind notice a delivery man of BPCL gas company situated at versowa always supply one cylinder of gas bottle illegally by taking extra charge and supply the same to Rupani stall running by a lady she is also running a Dhabba next to stall. She is not a consumer also than also she is getting regular supply of consumer cylinder daily with some extra amount.
                      If there is a cylinder blast who will be responsible so please take the cylinder from her and hold her responsible by filling a police case against her.
                      Kindly look in the matter and make an enquiry how she was able to get the empty cylinder and also take the proper action against the dealer.

                      since from last one month, not ready to give transfer even after request several times & not to take responsibility to attend the request.
                      You have made a very good and practical suggestion. There should be transparency and the customer should be able to track his place on the queue. That way corruption can be minimized.

                      My family got a cylinder refill yesterday after 41 days of waiting...after many, many phonecalls from my wife and many promises shamelessly made and unfulfilled from the distributor's side.

                      This so-called "shortage" is especially during winter. The domestic LPG cylinders are also used by hotel owners and by people for their cars. I don't think these small hotel owners have some commercial connections of 10-20 cylinders. If you check car-owners, they too are using the domestic connections.

                      Is it right to use the benefit of cylinders subsidized for domestic use to be siphoned off to other uses? Can we rob the poor to pay the rich? If this is not injustice, then what is? Is the government right is sitting quietly saying that this is a problem everywhere? Who is going to address this problem? The helpless consumer?

                      The solution to this problem should be at least:
                      1. transparency, so that customer can track his place in the queue (as suggested in the post above)
                      2. different colours for domestic use cylinders and for hotel use and car use cylinders.
                      3. VERY STIFF PENALTIES for those who violate the laws regarding this.
                      These should be addressed with some URGENCY by the Petroleum Minister. Innumerable Indians are affected.

                        The BPCL retail outlet at Nelson Madela marg, Vasant Vihar named "Pushpanjali" has faulty Nozzels and the staff out there does not know how to deal with their customers.

                        I was asked by the Petrol attendant to pay for petrol that spilled outside of the cars due to the faulty nozzels. Wheneever you ask them to Tank full the car they fill extra and spill outside about a 1ltr or 2 outside to increase their sales. Then they ask teh customer to pay.

                        Its outrageaous that when investigating and questioning them they threat and say that its a continous practice by BPCL and the Official at the company instruct them to do so. They are fooling people and making a bad impression.

                          This is to bring to your Notice that the Customer Service is Very poor at Bhaat gas Service at Vashi Center. i.e the Contact number of Excel Gas Service.
                          These people are not attending calls to book the gas since many months. If they do recieve they give false commitments.
                          I am writing because of Frustuation i am facing every Month.

                            we have connection with BECS agency BEML layout, Raj rajeshwari nagar bangalore. we have double connection ... but the agency guy use to say that once 1st cylinder get finish after 29th day we hv to book it... even very much delay in delivery... even the person use to take 20Rs extra, person use to demand... if we hv double cylinder also no use of it... please take a serious in to this problem

                              I am a Bharty Gas customer for the past five years. And on 22 November 2008, I booked domesticLPG cylinder at Ramanaiah gas agency on Arcot Road, Valasaravakkam, Chennai. Notwithstanding our regular reminders, nothing has been done to our request. Every time we call the agency call, the personn attending the calls was giving one excuse or the other, and responded as if attending to the request expediously., but to no avail. Latest is, today (10 December 2008) when called the respective agency, we were told that the request will be dealt with immediate effect. Let me see if this is yet another trick in their book. On the whole the experience, to say least, is frustrating. Customers shouldn't be taken for granted. Regards, PRABU RAJ

                                There is a petrol bunk in mountroad near to DEVI theatre complex that is next to cosmopolitan club no #63 chennai-02.
                                when i filled petrol in the bunk at 12.10 p.m i gave 100 Rs to the person who fills petrol in the bunk.but he put petrol for 70Rs only.they are cheating the customers by standing there as two persons in the machine.one person distracts the customer .in the mean time the other person types 30Rs on the board.
                                then the customer ask him to fill for 100Rs he fills the 70 Rs correctly.this is a repeating action there.
                                please change the persons working in that bunk.other wise i will take this issue with solid proof to the court.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I am having a connection with Prakash gas Agencies, Boduppal, Hyderabad. It has become a practice that we are getting refills after more than 20 days. As per their "rule" I am booking for new cylinder after 20 days of getting my previous cylinder and we are promised that we will be getting refill within 12 working days which is not happening. I had booked for refill cylinder on 12-11-08. I started follow-up for the same from 24-11-08. every day the staff at Gas agency inform me that they had sent and it will be delivered within afternoon. the following day also I called after not receiving the delivery and I was put on hold for some time and informed that they had just now instructed the boy to deliver it and it will be done. It has become a every day job for me now, to call them, they keep me on hold for few minutes and reply that the refill cylinder will be delivered today at any cost. Unfortunately today is 8-12-08 and still I had not recieved the cylinder. On 6-12-08, I called and was informed the same, hence after waiting till 5 pm, I went to gas agency and questioned them how they had confirmed since last one week everyday that I will be receiving the cylinder. the person sitting at computer showed that he had just taken the bill he can send it only if people are available. till today I had not received refill cylinder. Moreover, to add to woes, none of the staff gives correct answers, and their owner Mr. Prakash is never available. That dealers is either running his business on the mercy of Bharat petroleum or at the whims and fancies of his staff. no one takes responsibility and every customer is subjected to harassment. If any of your people get a chance to visit that dealer, you will understand the plight of consumers there. many a times, delivery boys are not there to deliver refills. I had never seen the owner in his seat managing the things for benefit of customer or organization for past 16 yrs atleast.


                                  Kindly do the needfulll to arrange to streamline the situation so that consumers are benefitted.

                                  Bharat Gas — Non Delivery of refill cylinder

                                  My Consumer no is 35145 with Raaki Gas, SInganallur, COimbatore.
                                  I booked refill cylinder on December 08, 2010, and till date (13/01/11) have not recieved the cylinder. Frequent calls to the agency only results in them assuring me that the cylinder will be delivered immediately.

                                  Also at the time of booking, they say it will take 20 days for delivery. Is this the normal delay ?. I made two complaints on the ebharatgas website but have not received any reply so far. I do not know what else to do or if there is anyone else to whom I can make a complaint.

                                    Myself Ghanshyam dass. My bharat gas agency service dealer is "Kitchen Flame, B-2/15, Cycle Market, Mangol Puri" and their Distributor's Code is "CC-581816" and "CC-113546".
                                    I renewed a new "Domestic gas customer card" and they charged me 225 rupes. But on the back side of card it is 25 rupes.I told them for this but they give me reply that at that time it is 225/= and 25/= is the old price.
                                    As this is not a big amount but as a responsible citizen i am asking you that is it right?
                                    Also when we book a new cylinder they told us that it will come after 2-3 days, but it come after 15-20 days. We and our society facing this problem. I did not get any complained number, thats why i am mailing you.
                                    Plz do some helpful steps against it. All our society is waiting for your reply.

                                    Myself Govind Prasad. My bharat gas agency service dealer is "Ashok Gas Services near daliganj crosing Sitapur Road Lucknow" and their Distributor's Code is 115683.
                                    I refiled my gas cylinder and your service men is charged me 360 rupees instead of 347 rupees because he run there his personal shop and he gave soap, hair oil, pickle, agarbatti etc. to everyperson.If any person denied to taking these things he did'nt reffled gas cylinder on actual cost.
                                    As this is not a big amount but as a responsible citizen i am asking you that is it right?
                                    We and our society facing this problem. I did not get any complained number, thats why i am mailing you.
                                    Plz do some helpful steps against it. All our society is waiting for your reply.

                                      I am a consumer in Calicut City. Consumer No.2941. Till recently I was getting proper supply from the distributer M/s Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation, Stadium building, Calicut. Recently a new agency was given namely Bhaskar Gas Agency, West Hill, Callicut-5. Their supply is always delayed and for me even after booking for the refill over phone on 10.11.2008, I did not get the refilled cylinder till date. (06.12.08). They are giving refills according to their wish and not according to the booking. A lot of complaints are there against this agency from the public. My connection was transferred to this agency and my neighbour's connection is still with the Civil supplies corporation. I request that either my connection may please be transferred to old agency of Civil Supplies Corporation or necessary steps may please be taken to put an end to the irretular supply of refilled cylinders by Bhaskar Agency, Calicut.

                                      We too have a problem of constant delay with Shree Pramukh Swami Gas Agenncy at 16, Bharvi Towers, C.T.M., Ahmedabad 380026, Gujarat. My customer no. Iss 18027 of BPCL. I requested a refill gas bottle two weeks ago by appering in person because they never pick up my phone. Then on 12/02/2010 I again went to their office when they promised to send a refill in the evening. But still the refill bottle is not delivered and they do not pick up the phone. Since both our bottles are empty we need the bottle urgently. We are fed up with this agency. Kindly do something. Thanks a lot.

                                        i am staying in mugalivakkam i got married so i started my new life and i went to apply for a gas connection i was very much fedup there what they toled me is for a single cylinder connection its costing Rs6000/- (Where as the deposit for a cylinder is Rs850/-)in that compulsery stove, cooker, so and so, still we have all the thing what they are offering but the distributer is not giving the connection with out rs6000/- its very worst i faced. as a middle class people we can not afford that much money also the compulsory acceries we can not use it, it will be ideal elce we need to go to door to door to sell it its realy very bad pls take some actions
