Complaint against BSNL

The above telephone is in the name of my brother James de Souza who is a cancer patient. It has been malfunctioning for the last 3 months. Numerous online complaints have been made, the last three captioned above. The technician from BSNL, one Santosh, has determined that there is no problem with the router and my laptop functions perfectly at other locations. There is obviously something wrong with the BSNL internet and to date the complaint has not been resolved.
I have tried to liaise with their field staff. The DET, Choudhary is the quintessential penpusher and directed me to one or another of his staff to no useful purpose. Dy. GM, Kulkarni – all bluster and no muster - also promised that the complaint would be resolved, to no effect and the linesman Malikarjun says that there is nothing wrong with the line. The P.A. to the G.M., Mr. Harikrishna finally directed one Chandrakant Ghatse who has attended to the complaint. Apparantly some resetting is required in some of their systems and the complaint to date not been resolved.
I am a senior citizen and have been a customer of the BSNL for my entire life - constrained no doubt by its monopoly in the field. Given my experience it is not surprising that many of its erstwhile customers have migrated to other service providers. One can be sure that many more will follow.
