i am complaining of my broadband service BSNL BROADBAND BHILAI CITY @HOME500 PLAN, it is saying that you will get 2mbps download speed it means that it give me 2048 kilo "bits" per second or 256 kilo 'bytes' per second, but some time it gives me only 35 k Bytes p s, how to complain it I don't know help me to solve this problem which happeing from march of the 2009.

Abe ghochu, 35 KiloBytes is equivalent to 256 kilo bits. 8 bits= 1 byte. BSNL is not at fault.
You both seem to be v expert...Lols...
For ur info BSNL provide 2 mbps connection.Which mean 2048 kilobytes.
but when u download any thing in noemal condition u will get onli 256 KiloByets Per second.
there is difference between these two.one is browsing speed(2mbps) and other is downloading speed(256 kBps) .. downloading speed is 1/8 of downloading.
so definately there is some fault with your connection..Try downloading using idm..I will give u 250+ speed if everything is ryt..
try downloading smthing (using idm ) from www.songs.pk

    I am from Noida Sector 58. I believe I live within 2 Km range from BSNL exchange and tower.
    I got BSNL -EVDO last month.

    Firstly I never get speed more than 500 KBps(Max).

    Second for last two days there is no network for last two days. Calling on bsnl office they say its a problem from backend and people are working. but there is no improvement from two days.

    Can any one help me getting both things resolved ASAP. I think I am not paying Rs 800 for two/three days without internet a month.

    ye this is prashant guleria me also facing same problem in Chandigarh while i am in national roaming every 4 or 5 min ma connection is getting disconnect and same not getting max speed 500kb/s. mean 60kb/s downloading speed .
    so y should i pay 1000-/- bucks for this ev-do bull-


    U DO i think give an application to ur SDO officer that due to very inconvenience i am not going to pay this months bill
    .
    same case even i am calling to ma SDO he is not getting me serious so i decide to do this if more . then i will go to GM office .. and forword ma application

      Dear Sirs,

      We have taken one prepaid BSNL mobile sim bearing no cell no. [protected] from SSA Jamshedpur Bistupur main BSNL office of your Ranchi circle and was in use for last one year. On Saturday dated 20/06/2009 the SIM was taken out from the mobile SET and one airtell SIM was inserted in the same mobile set. After one call when the BSNL SIM was reinserted, it is reported by mobile set as rejected, This was done at many earlier occasions also in the past. On consultation with the help line nos [protected] &[protected] at your goood ofices/call centres, it is told that G3 spectrum configaration is in progress and the same will be completed by Monday(22/06/2009). After tuesday(23/06/2009) the tower connection in all such cases will be automated as usual.

      This is to regret to mention that till date and time the connection have not been regularised and now your officials at Jamshedpur office is asking for Rs. 110 .00 for issuing duplicate SIM. Please look into the matter and do the needful to restore my above cell no [protected] as well as our confidence in BSNL services. A prompt reply by return mail over my E- mail ID: ashok.[protected]@tatasteel.com will be highly appreciated.

      ex-cel prepaid plan — simcard rejected

      sir, i got the final attempt of entering the pin code and i made it wrong. then the trail & error metod came to an end. i got to enter the PUK code then due to same method i made it wrong. at last i am receiving the message SIM card rejected on my NOKIA 3100 classic mobile. it is not going or it is strucking my mobile. i request you to please solve this problem and my mobile number is [protected] and my land phone number is[protected]

      dear sir,
      i am sorry to complaint about rejection of my sim card having no. [protected]. acidentally i entered wrong puk code. now every time i get it swiched on, it does prompt a message showing sim card rejected. plz do activate it as soon as possible.

        On January 12th 2009 I made a decision of getting a BSNL connection with unlimited broadband, I was very happy to see the attractive plans from bsnl. I guess that was one of the worst decisions I made going for a BSNL, after calling and hovering around the officers desk I finally got a connection on february (exactly 1.5 months) although I was promised that I would get the connection in 1 week time. Anyways I was happy to have a telephone connection the guy who came to install it at my place said that the broadband will take 2 more days ( to be appropriate BSNL TWO DAYS ) finally I got the broadband after 15 days, but I must say BSNL billing is amazing no matter I use the broadband for only a week I got the bill for the whole month + a heavy installation charge ( 2500/- )*

        Well I didnt mind paying the money as the broadband was working fine until one fine weekend (on February 2009 ) my phone was dead suddenly, I called up 1500 from my cell and register a complain I was said that it will be rectified in 3 hours after 12 hours the phone was still dead, I called up 1500 again they said its pending at outdoor (dono wat they meant by that) and gave me a number, I called that number 100 times but either it was busy or no reply (which clearly shows that BSNL people are not interested at all). Well after 3 days I got the phone working thats when I came to know BSNL 3 hours is actually 3 days.

        From then onwards every fortnight my phone goes dead, or my broadband stops working, I registered numerous complains but all in vain all they know is the word 3 hours, and if you call in 1500 they will ask to call 1504 which I guess routes to place where no one is there to receive a call, once I had a great luck to get through and the service guy said that in 24 hours I will get it resolved (atleast something other than 3 ) but then he said its actually BSNL 24 hours which is actually 3 working days (so it again came back to 3 :) ) still the broadband doesn't work for me already 2 weeks over :).

        Well now let me compare BSNL with other products in Airtel there is no installation fees*, moreover I used an Airtel connection for more than 1.5 years but not even a single minute the service was down. Well If I am not wrong BSNL is telecom sector since 50 years which in comparision to Airtel is quite high, which is in market for only 10 years still BSNL is not matured in this area. Moreover if you dont have capability to provide a connection properly you should not take the connection requistion itself.And the installation is done the very same day in Airtel, for which BSNL took 2 months.

        Well I guess this pathetic state of BSNL is in Karnataka only I have been to many places and have used BSNL many times but this kind of "DONT CARE attitude of BSNL" lies only in here. Its so funny when I see BSNL talks about so many service when it cannot provide a simple services like a Basic Phone.

        Well as of now I just want one favor "Please get my line disconnected as I dont want BSNL PLEASE".

          I have bsnl landline and broadband connection since last month. Broadband modem was installed at my home after one month of payment date. I have paid for 1 year cost. But installation done after one month. So i can use only 11 month. Now in 15 days. Three times my broadband not working. At now landline is dead since last three days. However nobody attend my complane. My landline number is[protected] at bharuch gujarat, i am tring more times to contact Mr. Vasava at bholav exchange but nobody replay. I want to benefit again this harasment.
          my net discontinuing constantly, cant work properly...

            Sir,

            My BSNL Telephone[protected] has not been working since 1st May 2009 and in spit of my several oral and written complains I have not getting any response from local BSNL Officials. They are regular only in sending BSNL Telephone bills.There attitude and behavior is also rude during complains.

            Dear Sir,
            I have made several complaints about BSNL Telephone No:27226304 over phone as well as visited their office located opposite Krupa Komplex.
            When ever I complained after several follow ups they are attending to the complaint and restoring the connection temperarily.
            The junction box fixed to the pole opposite to my hose is in dilapadated condition .
            Any one can tamper the connection easily.
            Every month Fifiteen days the connection is not there.
            If we are not complaining they are not attending and if complaining they are giving lame excuses and blaming others for this.

            We request the higher ups to look into the matter and give us a permanent solution and we expect the telephone to work all through.
            In olden days BSNL services were very good. We never use to complain so frequently.
            From the past few years it is very bad.
            We can not accept this kind of service from any one.
            But monthly bills are sent very promptly and we are paying the bills very promptly too.

            Kindly look in to this matter and take up the job on top priority to fix a good junction box and connection.

                  In my street (2nd street, Rajagopalapuram, moulivakkam, Chennai-116), BSNL land line post is within 15metres reachable place. Yet I didn't get a land line connection to my house, though 1st street and 3rd street have Land line. The reason given to me is there is a scarcity of cables to deploy connection. So the "Moulivakkam BSNL telephone Exchange" and "Porur BSNL Telephone exchange" provided me a WLL phone- no:[protected]Hyundai - White colour model). Since the quality is very poor, I'm forced to surrender it, and requested Land line with Broad band connection for studies which was rejected instantly. So I raised multiple petitions and requisition letters to AE of Moulivakkam Exchange, JE of Porur Exchange and then finally to Kodambakkam Exchange.

                  Even though Moulivakkam AE accepts the request, the Line man is not willing to provide connection only to our street. I was literally fed up with the Line men intentions.

                  I don't know to whom I can raise this issue, because every time I request a new Land line connection, the line man of Moulivakkam Telephone exchange gives a reply that it is infeasible area. And the higher officials simply rejects our application.
                  For more than 10 years only our street housing about 8 families didn't get Land line connection.

                  The Moulivakkam telephone exchange is just 300 metres away from my house.

                  I'm sure no one will take action for this, yet I want to convey my grievances to the public.

                  I was looking for a Landline plus Broadband connection, but connection
                  request was declared "Not feasible" by BSNL.
                  But the events in which the it was declared not feasible is very suspicious
                  and looks to be favoring other service providers directly or indirectly.

                  Full details on what happened as below:
                  Had placed a request for the same by "LL BB" though 54141 service offered
                  by BSNL on 21st December 2:12 PM.
                  On 23rd December there is a Lead created with ID: CHCHI[protected].
                  I wait for a week and there is no progress on it.

                  Then I again make the same request by "LL BB" though 54141 service offered
                  by BSNL on 2nd Jan 6:52 PM.
                  On 5th Jan there is another Lead created with ID: CHCHI[protected]
                  On 7th Jan I get a SMS saying it is assigned to a person named JHONSON.

                  Then I call this person and check the status, he says he will check
                  feasibility and get back to me.

                  And today by 22 Jan 4:46PM I get a message saying it is moved to "NOT
                  FEASIBLE" status.

                  Few hours after the status I get a call from another private wireless
                  service provider from whom I never asked for a connection.

                  Given the my locality is a fast developing suburb in Chennai with a well
                  known school, residential apartments nearby, also one street away
                  i could see BSNL connections already, it is so strange that BSNL could not
                  provide service. Even if it means to add extra distribution box.

                  Kindly check if this is really because BSNL has no plan to provide service
                  in my street or there is a real issue with local BSNL officers or
                  contractors working for BSNL.

                    I am using broadband / internet connection provided by bsnl sonepat. Since last fifteen days connectivity is frequently non avialble. Light at inet points frequently goes off and at those moments connectivity is non avilable and we are deprived of braodband service / connectivity frequently.

                    To solve this problem i am regularly contacting at phone number
                    1957, 2211999 & 2256300. But from these telephone number i never got satisfactory reply and or service or removal of problem of non availability of connectivity. In the process when i tried to contact GM BSNL SONEPAT ON PHONE NUMBER 2253000 I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO CONTACT HIM NEITHER HIS MOBILE NUMBER WAS PROVIDED TO ME AS REQUESTED BY ME TO THE RECEPTIONIST.

                    In addition to non availability of connectivity my telephone number 2200561 becomes dead when i contact at above numbers to solve the problem of connectivity, i apprehend it is done intentionally to teach me a lesson. Today when i contacted at phone number 2253000 instead of providing me solution / mobile number of GM, BSNL, SONEPAT, MY TELEPHONE LINE WAS TURNED DEAD BY THE OFFICIAL / EMPLOYEE OF BSNL SONEPAT AS IT IS SATURDAY AND I CAN NOT GET ANY HELP AS BSNL AT SONEPAT HAS NOT MADE ANY PROVISIONS TO SOLVE A PROBLEM ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY.

                    Now i have been deprived of from both the service i.e. broad band connection and landline telephone facility.

                    Private operator care for customers but bsnl seldom bother for consumers in sprit.
                    private operator care for consumers whereas bsnl seldom bothers for consumers. complainant should shift to private operator.
                    I have applied for new landline connection in november 2009 and i have been told that you will get it within 1 week. but till now i havent got ant connection even there is no response from the exchange. i am regularly doin complaint for it in kundli exchange and also in sonepat exchange but i am getting no positive response even i hv called GM and customer service number but there is also same thing.
                    I want to ask what is all dis happening. this seems dat bsnl has no respect for their customers.
                    we have an urgency of the connection but bsnl is not paying atteion.
                    so i request kindly look into this matter and i hope for a positive response from your side.

                      I had submitted my application for BSNL telephone line in the same RAM NAGAR ( Chennai North )telephone Exchange. Telephone NO :[protected] with Broadband connection.

                      Till today they have not connected & the reason the tell is non avialablity of Cable.

                      Can the concerned do the needful.

                        Since last 12 days my telephone number[protected] is not working. I made complaint in the medical exchange on 16.08.2010 and we are regularly contacting to SDO and GM twice but no action has been taken so far.                         Is there any body in the BSNL telephones who could help me out and get restored my connection.
                        In my view such negligence affects the big name of BSNL.

                        My tel no.[protected]and[protected] at sarai Mansingh, Aligarh (UP)is not working since more than one month. Several complaints is of no use. Contacted to SDO Ssasnigate, he told not to ring again. bill is regularly coming. due to this fax is not working.
                        Sir, I have a landline connection in my mother, s name. Recently I got broadband connection also. Few days back a representative of bsnl Aligarh approched me and told me an offer about bsnl sim plan. I have decided to by that sim so I purchased the same at the cost of Rs.31 and given him the filled form along with other documents. That time he told me that the sim will be activated in one week. After about 10days I tried the sim but it was not activated. Today when I saw that fellow, when asked he retuned me the paper saying that your mother's name is not matching with that of our records. Since it was a mistake from your office because at the time of applying for the connection the paper we have submitted was having the right name i.e. Mrs. Sarojini Kitta but your people right it wrong i.e. MR. Sarohinni Kitta. So for the mistake of your people why should I suffer.
                        I, therefore, request you to please look into the matter and if possible please correct your records or if not possible then please change the connection to my name.

                        This letter is in reference to my three letters which were handed over to you personally regarding
                        my INTERNET SYSTEM which was working very very sluggishly and could not get even one hour
                        of continuous supply due to which my daughter could not do a bit of work and at the same time I could
                        not carry out my work also. Mr Sunil who has been authorised to attend the broadband problems visited my house two-three times but could not do anything as the system was not satisfactory because the DSL light never became stationary and used to blink every 10-15 mins. This problem was being faced by me for last 3-4 months and after contacting all the concerned including the SDO who could not help me a bit, I had to approach you. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you but I had no alternative as this was suggested by your exchange authorities to approach you for a fast result. But unfortunately I could not get any satisfactory result after approaching you and this left me very dejected. The same story goes for the telephone system.
                        Presently I am in Hyderabad and you will be surprised to know the efficiency of the BSNL internet system here which has good speed and the availability is through out the day with out any break.I really feel surprised that if the same authorities are working so efficiently here then why not the same in Aligarh. Here is a colony of 1400 flats and here everyone is using BSNL and no one has any complaints.
                        My broadband yearly contribution will be expiring in first week of JULY'2013 and I have to decide seriously as to what should be done further if the same condition continuous and your authorities find it difficult to give me a satisfactory working system. In fact if your good-self can consider then I should be reimbursed at least three months of money or my period be extended for this period with a regular supply of internet system.. I will be back in Aligarh in the first week of August'13. Presently I will not pay further money till I get a satisfactory response
                        and a continuous working internet system.

                        BSNL just make money from their customer.until i didnt recharge my number it was wokin but the day i got my number recharged they created an issue with my number.my all outgoing calls have been barred and they say that i'll have to visit BSNL office n submit my id again to get my number activated.these dont understand that doing this will harm them, none else.by doing this they are loosing their customers.

                        I have applied for Broad band with Land Line on 17/08/2013 and deposited all fee at that time I have give land line # [protected] and being told within a week connection will be done but there is no any response from the concern dept sine a fort a night. I am living abroad and it is very difficult for me to follow up.

                          I have been using BSNL Broadband for more thn a year...
                          for all those 12 months i was charged the basic charges i.e 250/- ...
                          in the basic plan i am given 1GB of free download and after that 0.90 paise per MB.

                          as i was receiving jst 250/- bill every month i visited local BSNL office to find out if thr was any billing fault but at that point i was told that the bills received my me are correct... so continued using the net service... within that period i also tried checking my usage on http://www.data.bsnl.in & http://bbservice.bsnl.in but every time i found the site down or else was not able login to my account to check the usage.

                          In march 2009's bill i am charged Rs.15000/- as broad band usage charges.
                          its the bill of whole year together... i am not sure about the charges as it seems to be more thn my usage...
                          now the BSNL office representetive wants me to pay the bill at any cost... EVEN THOUGH the fault is from their end... they are blaming me for the BILL... On talking with Account officer...i was turned down by talking rudely... the BSNL representatives are not entertaining my complain as they want to hide their own negligence...

                          Please help me...

                            i had recharged my bsnl sim with gprs unlimited usage recharge on 9th july 09 that is valid for one month
                            it worked properly for 15 days but since 21st july it is not working i have complaint this at customer care centre and on 22nd of june i have been to local telephone exchange in mathura city (u.p) still it is not working please sort this out to me.please email me 2 sort this out at [protected]@gmail.com

                              i brought an evdo 3 months ago and reguraly complaing about the speed not going above 45-125 kbps in cubbonpet area which is the one of the highest buissnes place in bangalore and the officers are not even bothered about the complaints wether it is oral or handwritten my evdo no is 20197472 .kindly do something about it .i brought the same because bsnl was publishing they had gone 3d and to my surprise they are pulling a fast one on the public. another same old organisation as goes

                              BSNL EVDO — very slow

                              Dear sir,

                              I am using bsnl ev-do haning the no 219339, i alredy talk with this no [protected], but there is no resust.now my speed is 60kbps.
                              Same for me, I am in greator noida sec p3.

                              I never get speed more then 150Kbps and down time also another issue.
                              Even SDO is really very good person setting in sec delta 1.
                              I think BSNL need such kind of officer then only can bsnl servive in market.
                              torrent download is very slow...
                              please give me some tips...

                              i have baught a bsnl evdo .while taking connection the promised that the speed will be upto 2.1mbps but i got very poor spped about to 5 to 10kbps. i hve called bsnl office many times they say to do solution bt nothing is done yet....

                                I Live in Ranchi Jharkhand. Usually in my mobile it shows Sandhya Cinema from where we get the signal for our BSNL Mobile. But Sorry to say This BTS goes down very frequently and do not comes in service sometimes after 3-4 days resulting no network coverage in my apartment. When this BTS is up and running then there is absolutely no call drop and voice cracking.
                                Mob. No. [protected], outgoing call was restricted due to late bill payment. Payment cleared on 22.06.09 ans confirmation through SMS has been received on the same day. Till date withdrawl of outgoing call restriction has not been done by M/s. BSNL inspite of repeated requests.
                                Ref. complaint No.[protected]. Please do the needfull on urgent basis.

                                  My telephone number[protected]choraut-sitamarhi bihar india-843319) is lying dead for about 6 months but bsnl, bihar circle is not taking any action to rectify the problem. Actually we paid all bills on time till the phone was working.since the installation time of my phone most of the time it is dead.i don't know what is the problem Now we should be given top priority to correct the disconnection.whenever we contact to the related engineer, i got the answer it will connected soon, but nothing happens.please do the needful.

                                  I am steying in Indore .I got a bsnl land line at my residance . I want to see my telephone bills on line .How I can see/ check it . I was having a broad band connection on this line .As billing on this line was not correct I lodged a complaint with bsnl. they have considered the complaint . I want to see this corrected bill on line so that this can be deposited. Out going facility on this line is withdrawn.

                                    Shifting of telephone in BSNL seems to be a near impossible task. My advise would be to go for a new telephone / broadband connection. Even I have applied for shift from Brookefields Exchange to Kavalbyrasandra Exchange more than 2 months ago. I am yet to get the telephone shifted leave alone broadband...

                                      My centre was at Victory Girls H S S, Nemom, Trivandrum. There also they didnt allow us to use any of the calculators. It was almost like a bank test. I couldnt do some 5 or 6 problems (2marks each).

                                        My cell no: is [protected]. I am getting every day one gita verses for which I am charged monthly subscription of Rs 30/-. The gita verses vanishes from the screen immediately after reading. Every month I get one messeage for unsubscribing and if send sms to the number givien I get a message stating invaid request. Even this messeage vanishes from the screen immediately after reading. BSNL officials also tried but failed to unsubscribe. The message keeps coming even if there is no balance but the amount is deducted the moment is you recharge. I am trying best to unsubcrible this offer but I am unable to do so. In this regard I have contacted customer suport cell as well as BSNL authorities several time and even then I am not able unaubcrible this offer. I think the software programme is made in such a way to deceive the public at large. I still do not know who is the beneficiary. Like me many other persons are likely to duped and perhaps nobody has taken up the issue seriously perhaphs due to paucity of time
