BUT TILL NOW IPCONTROL SERVICE IS NOT BEEN INSTALLED I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT IT WILL BE DONE WITH IN 3 WEEKS FROM THE TIME OF APPLICATION, I CALLED 1957 (LOCAL CODE FOR INTERNET INFORMATION) AROUND EACH DAY FROM FEB 1 2009 BUT NO ONE IS TAKING THEIR WORK SERIOUS EXCEPT SDO (JAL CANTT) MR PARDEEP SONI (WHO IS ON SOME OUT DUTY OR NOT AVAILABLE IN TOWN) THEY ALWAYS BLAME EACH OTHER AND USE TO GIVE A PHONE NUMBER OF ANY SENIOR, AND YOU KNOW THOSE SENIOR JUST PICK UR PHONE FOR ONCE AND THEN THEY NEVER PICK UR PHONE AGAIN, AND I AM PROVIDING YOU ALL THE NUMBERS I CALLED

i would suggest you that if you have not get your iptv till now then its very good because i faced similar problem for one and a half month and thereafter its not working at all.
No on is trying to correct the fault.
So i would suggest you to not get it otherwise you will suffer a lot just like me.
Past 10 days complaint was made for not receiving by iptv . The message comes always "Can't connect to server". BSNL says their side is ok as well as net connection is ok. IPTV says there is a connection problem. No one take this problem seriously from both side.

    I am using BSNL EXCEL ANANT LIFE TIME PREPAID. Normally after every six months, we need to recharge the card for min Rs.56. But this time I forget to recharge. Hence both incoming and outgoing calls has been disconnected.For that i approched Bsnl call center to reactivate my sim. They suggested me to buy Rs.225 bsnl excel anant reconnection coupon and then it will work as usual. I followed the same, i brought that reconnection coupon and i tried to activate the sim. But it shows error message " This coupon is invalid " .Please help me how can i activate the sim.

      I had made online billpayment to BSNL Gujarat cirle through their portal for the month of Dec.2008 for Rs.1778/- three times as the payment was not sucessful on two occasins. However my account has been debited Rs.1778/- for three times i.e Rs.5334/- though it should have been only Rs.1778/-.
      Now I have recieved new bill for the month of Jan 2009 where the excess amount paid i.e.Rs.3556/- is not credited. This payment was made by ICICI Bank through INDIAIDEAS.COM. On enquiry from the bank it was clarified that payemnt has been done Rs.5334/- to BSNL Gujarat Circle.
      Requested to take up the matter and reverse the excess payment made for Rs.3556/- to my a/c.or adjusted in Jan 2009 bill.

      The bsnl gujarat site, after completing the process of payment a message is displayed saying that the payment is unsuccessful .. we try again not once but thrice .. again the same message. These trials led to successful payments to bsnl - via credit cards - without our knowledge. infact if the payment is already successful, any repeated payment efforts should not be entertained at all. I have paid the amount not once but five times. The last one was the one where the message of successful payment was displayed .. that too with delayed charges. I would like bsnl gujarat to address the grievances by crediting the excess amount debited by my bank Union Bank Of India - vesu branch, surat to my account.

        My mobile no: [protected]. from Tirupati, andhra pradesh...
        In some of the BSNL Prepaid sim cards, account balance and last call charge are coming as a message alert just after the call. In my mobile this does not happen. Since it is a useful feature I would like to enable the same in my mobile. One of the customer support employee at BSNL said that this facility will available only for few series of mobile numbers. I don't think this is not genuine answer. Please advice how I can make available this feature in my mobile.

          i am using BSNL broadband internet using wifi modem on plan Home500C+ which has free net usage between 0200hrs and 0800hrs.Phone no: [protected]. Last month i got a bill of Rs 3500. Most of my net usage was during the free hours.On verifying at the usage details account portal of BSNL, i could find that a portion of my free download was also metered as chargable. It is clearly shown in the website that on many occassions, usages upto about 0230am are charged. On approaching BSNL customer service office, i was told that this occurred since i was continuosly browsing before the free hours started. and that i should have switched of the modem and restarted after 0200am. BUT this explanation sounds foolish as BSNL has nowhere told about this before. If this is the case, then BSNL is making undue profit by decieving customers like me. Can anything be done to reslove my issue? kindly help.

              dear sir/mam,
              with respect to the subject citied above i would like to let u know that i am a user of bsnl since more than 1year but i am not satisfied by the services provided by bsnl. my cell no is[protected], perpaid sim, from the east zone of assam, tinsukia.
              that sir, i want to use mms in my prepaid sim but the mms is not being activated in my sim for which i have requested and complained lots of time to bsnl customer care but still no respose or servies has been provided form thier side. that sir, i am using sumsung M620 model cell and my complain's logged in bsnl customer care are complain no. 2415611 dated 13/02/09 time 9.56am and again complain no. 3417687 dated 15/02/09 time 11.22am 3417687 dated. 15/02/09 time 11.25am.

              that sir, i request you to kindly look after this matter and take necessary action and give them a pressure against the work not being done as soon as possbile.

                  BSNL — So many connection lost

                  Hello,
                  4 months ago, I got BSNL Broadband connection. Till now i am receiving problem like disconnections simultaneously, sometimes loss of dial-tone and loss of link twice a week. Everytime the BSNL line person demands Rs.50/- for the service charge. I gave many complaints to the officers, but till now i didn't get any response. This becomes a stupid thing, but I pay the line person because i am doing online web designs . So, i need the connection without any disturbances.

                  respected sir my broadband connection regularly from connection loss problem
                  please look at it ,,,,, b'coz after every 2-3 min the connection is lost and i have to again login every now and then....
                  This is a sincere complaint abt the huge amount of internet bill i received for the month of june 2010, almost gross amount of RS 5248, i had a 250 plan, changed it to 750 unlimited offer, still i cant get to understand hw do i get such a bill and if at all i need to check my internet usage, the sites are forbidden, no-one of the links given by BSNL works.
                  The service isnt dat good too in terms of connection, downloading or even uploading ...keeps disconnecting...and in return we receive huge bills for no proper service
                  some stern action has to be taken in this matter, for people who suffer with huge bills.
                  want people to gather up and raise their voice to demand for proper billing and service providers online, instead of just making up huge bill with taxes added to it and other miscellanoues service charges and deposit amount taken.
                  so people who have faced similar problems, do join hands and post ur comments .

                    DOUBLE PAYMENT OF Bill No - [protected] IN JAN 2009 FOR DEC 2008 BILL

                    Sir,

                    I have registered my self for payments of my telephone number 25816095 through credit card payment service of Citi Bank, Pune.

                    My consumer number is [protected].

                    I had made a payment of Rs 2050/- on 23 Jan 2009 for the payment of Dec 2008 bill number [protected] through my direct debit service through Credit Card of Citi Bank.

                    But as till 28th Jan 09 the payment was not reflected, I made another payment on 28th Jan 09 by cash in Khadki Post Office fearing that my connection will be disconnected and I was told in case of double payment it will be adjusted in next bill.

                    I have checked from my Citi Bank and they have confirmed me that a payment by Credit Card for an amount of Rs 2050/- was made by them on 23rd Jan 09 to BSNL Pune but when I received the bill for the month of Jan 2009 in Feb 09 which was generated on 8th Feb 09, I found that the double amount paid by me ( Rs 2050/- twice in Jan 09 ) once through Credit Card debit by Citi Bank and second time in cash by me has not been adjusted.

                    Kindly after checking your records please confirm me if BSNL has received this double payment or not and if has received it twice then adjust the same against my unpaid payment or else let me know which mode of payment they have received in January 2009 by me i.e by cash or credit card for the bill of Dec 2008 for Bill number [protected]. So that, I can take necessary action to trace the excess amount paid by me at my end.

                    My monthly Bill is generally i didnot recieve properly. If i compalint to the account officer, he/she divert to the postal department.Postal department recieve the complaint & replied fastly that the your's bill was delivered.
                    I am a consumer I said that Not recieved the bill.Officials said No, "we were delivered" Who Is correcrt? or Who is false?.If officials as a consumer what he to do.?
                    I will sure some thing is be wrong by letters delivering the systems.Pls try to solve this problom.
                    I SUGGESTED THAT USING WITH COURIERS SYSTEM DELIVERYING BILL BY GET SINGNATURE FROM CONSUMER.As other private communications companies are using & also confirming by phone DID U RECIEVE THE BILL FOR THE MONTH OF...SO & SO.

                    Pls take care this matter study well, To serve to public, THEY ARE BE A HONESTY CITIZEN.

                      Severe Internet porblem in gomti nagar Lucknow.

                      I have been experiencing internet disconnectivity for months now and this problem still persists. Whenever i have lodged a compliant to the SDO the problem is only temporarily solved and internet gets disconnected very often and sometimes even for days.This is a major handicap of BSNL....

                      I searched the bsnl site where I got to know that there is a new prepaid plan from bsnl that is bsnl student power plan in prepaid in which the local sms are "free".There is a student plan in postpaid but this is diffrent from that this is a prepaid plan as given on the site ...http://www.bsnl.in/service/tariff_excel_pre.htm...Bt when I asked customer care for this they also dont have any information about this plan then how can bsnl provide this info on their site...Is there any plan like this available ..If not then how can they gave such fake info on their site...

                      I came across the same thing. It says local sms is free, but when I went to get the sim card they say that only 300 sms per month are free, that works out to a useless 10 sms per day. I knew it was too good to be true when i saw it but they shouldn't put up such information on their site. I'm still searching for a more detailed description of the plan.
                      there is a student plan but it was valid till 2006 onluy my freinds have it it was provided by the kolkatta bsnl circle

                        Hi, I get Rs. 89218.00. Its a huge amount of bill. and my bill must Rs. 562.00. Because i'm having plan 500C on my telephone. Its having night time unlimited usage of internet from 2-00 AM to 8-00 AM. and 1.5GB allocated in day time as free. and my usage is under 1.5 GB and my call is also under the free unit still i get this bill. what i do now. i submited a letter about it on bsnl.

                        Subject: Regarding benefit under scheme for female subscribers
                        I want to state that I am using BSNL landline[protected] & had taken this connection on March 26, 2008 under the scheme in which there is a discount of 25% in its uses for female subscribers. But I have not received any discount till now & have to pay full amount of the bills.
                        So please take proper action so that I can be benefitted in future & also adjust all of my paid bills under this scheme.

                        we never used any internet service for last month (Dec 2010) as we had a problem in our system and also we were out of station on account of year end. we were shocked to see the bill for last month . sir please take perfect action and solve our problem
                        Hi, I get Rs. 6064 Its a huge amount of bill. and my bill must Rs. 838.00. Because i'm having plan 500C on my telephone. Its having night time unlimited usage of internet from 2-00 AM to 8-00 AM.still i get this bill. what can i do now. please give me a right statement of bill please check my bill properly

                            Sir, Last month BSNL broadband of Agartala, Tripura has changed their format or system as far my knowledge goes. As a result I was unable to check my usage in the last month i.e. the month of January 2009. As a result I exceeded the free bandwidth by a large margin and had to pay around Rs 1000 extra. Now may you help me in any way to get any compensation from the company as they are the ones responsible for the inconvenience.

                            Am with dataone broadband plan. Since last month my broadband usage is at very faster rate. It was good two months back.. right from last month, jus when i get connected to net the usage doubles at a faster speed and i am ending up with abnormal billing. I have antivirus software installed in my system, and really donno where lies the bug.. Please check into my account or reply me as of what i have to do to get rid of this. Will be happy to have ur reply regarding this. Thanks in advance

                              THE ADOPTER /POWER CABLE CONNECTED TO MY BROADBAND MODEM GOT OUT OF ORDER.BUT, BSNL DID NOT PROVIDE ANY SERVICE/SUPPORT NOR REPLACE THE SAME, AS THEY DO NOT KEEP ANY STOCK OF SPARES.RATHER INTERESTINGLY, THEY ADVISED ME TO PURCHASE A NEW MODEM .NO POINT TO PURCHASE A NEW MODEM AS THE MODEM IS O.K.ULTIMATELY, I HAD TO PUCHASE A NEW ADOPTER & POWER CABLE FROM LOCAL MARKET AFTER LOT OF SEARCH.

                              If my problem will not be solved then I'm not going to pay bill amount of the BSNL broadband connectionon[protected].
                              This is last warning to BSNL!!!
                              We are Paying money not a Piece of a paper!!!
                              I have registered for a new telephone and broadband. The Work Order Num is HDP/N/GG/11-12/0078 and the Work Order Date is 24/09/2011. It is almost three months that I have not received the connection. I visited the indicated Haridebpur BSNL office and they asked me to contact the Joka DE or the Alipore DGM. The Joka DE never picked up their phones ([protected]/[protected]), for the 25 to 30 times that I rang them up. At the Alipore DGM's number ([protected]) a lady picks up each time, takes my details and says we will get back to you in half an hour but that 'getting back' never arrives.

                              Nobody is even willing to answer my queries or give me an expected date of providing the connection. I do not understand why am I harassed like this for choosing BSNL!

                                Dear BSNL Group,
                                I am a residence of thakurganj and i am getting improper service from BSNL . Firstly before i had activated a caller tune. My money was cut but till now i did not receive my Caller tune.
                                Secondly I had purchased a prepaid service of bsnl.My service was till 7th february 2009 i reacharges it on the 9th of a top up of Rs.225 it was a lifetime sim.I got a days validity.Now neither can i call nor can i receive an incoming call. Now when i am going to recharge a value of Rs40 for a months validity the transfer is being unsuccessful.
                                So that is a very bad facility of Bsnl(Cell One).
                                Thirdly when i go to call customer care at [protected] it is always busy from the very day i purchased the sim card. Hrdly 1 or 2 times i was successful in calling cusotmer care for the caller tune complain which was also unsuccessful although he noted my name.
                                I will be thankful if you pay immediate heed to my complain. The sim is registered on my mothers name but i am giving my id for a reply conformation message .Please pay heed

                                i am a customer of airtel with phone number +91-[protected]. for the last few days an amount of 5 rs. is being deducted from my account without my knowledge in the first case for a service of bollywood pics. i had tried to stop the service but with no satisfactory response from the company.

                                BSNL — Improper Service

                                We have taken BSNL landline connection[protected] for our Dehradun residence. During August our connection got disconnected abruptly & we lodged a complaint immediately with Premnagar BSNL office & Customer care. Complaint was also lodged at Head office on Rajpur road wide complaint number - [protected].

                                There has been no progress on status even after 3 months of Complaint lodging. We have been following up with Lineman, supervisors & Customer care.

                                We understand that neighbourhood phones have been rectified but no progress has happened on our number.

                                This kind of service is not expected out of BSNL which is claimed to be most efficient public sector units.

                                Looking forward for some action in this regard & if anyone can advise how to get the phone rectified pls let me know.

                                    inspite of several verbal calls to line man of our area Mr. WATTAL (Mob no. [protected]) for replacement of my faulty landline instrument since 1 month i am unable to get new instrument against old one. Since one when ever i call him, he dont pick up my call & make his phone not reachable. i have also sent an application in this regard but no progress till date. my landline no. is installed at resham ghar colony under shakti nagar exchage. contact no.                                       I have a BSNL land line connection with Bradband facility in Batlagundu, My No is 04543 – 265676.Today I received the bill for the month of January 09.Immediately after getting the bill I was shocked, because they made a claim Rs.1664/- for purchase of Modam.In my application itself I clearly note that I have my own instrument. Fact is like so, I don’t know how they send the bill like this manner. At the time of providing connection the BSNL staff make few calls and asked me that do you have a modam or not, at that time also I remain them that I have a modam. So, kindly look in to this matter & do the needful and issue necessary orders to send revised bill to me at the earliest.
