Dear Sir/Madam,

We are from Bageshwar district’s Dafaut ( Gadlikhet/Nayal/Mushuli) Gram Shabh Mushuli Simkhet. Our major problem is mobile operator’s connectivity (BSNL Cellone, Idea and Airtel) their network services are so poor, all o[censored]s complaint about it several time to operator but they didn’t hear about it. Kindly help us on this regards, hope we get a positive response form this form.

I have myself experienced this problem last year when i had been to my native place in Dhapolasera, Kanda near Bageshwar. My Airtel postpaid was of no use during whole of my journey. I used a BSNL connection which i borrowed from one of my relative there. The BSNL service was a little bit better than tha of Airtel.
Yes, I definetely agree, Govt. should take firm steps for the developmet of these rural areas. We are 4th strongest economy in the world but looks like we still need a lot of improvement. If we want to become a developed nation we need to make a good system. 60 % people live in villages and we need to focus our development here. Communication which is back bone of any development should be firm and robust. I request all government employees to support villagers and fix there issues right away.

    CellOne — Late delivery of messages

    I am a cellone customer. All the messages that i send, get delivered very late. so, i would like the authority concerned to do the needful.
    I am facing this problem since I subscribed for BSNl 2 years back. It still that slow. NO IMPROVEMENT AT ALL.
    AVOID BSNL.
    network problem & msg delivery very slow
    delivery of message is not prpoer...sometimes it shows failed nor sometimes its delivering very late...plz take some action on tis as soon as possble...
    Message delivery is too slow...please solve this problem immediately...
    BSNL message deliver is pretty slow even a OTP message arrives after the session expires.. i need BSNL to take appropriate action on this.

      Sir,

      I have recieved a broadband bill of 18000/- rs for the month of November and December. The problem is I have submitted my request for Plan change from Home 500 to Home UL 750 on 1st November 2008. The Work Order was generated on the same date. BSNL Employees of our area ensured that the plan change is effective from the date Work Order is released, which was true for past changes...
      My plan got changed on 3rd December 2008 and I was charged for the usage till that time.
      Additionally, I was charged the rental of 750 rs and 500 rs both the plans for the month of december.

      Please suggest ...

      Now they say that all the plan changes were put on hold for Nov month. It was not informed to us..

      Will I get a refund.?

      its a very bad news heard from u that they had charged u wrongy... but u have a power that ur a customer and u had that bill for 750rs... and the tariff would be unlimeted usage for 1 month.. then y ur suffering.. see for an example u gave rs 100 to buy a thing i[censored] dint get that definately u can go to cosumer court or u can speak to the city head or the responsible person.. because in that way only i got the refund.. i also suffered the problem like u... they charged me for the usage in 2 am to 8 am... i got refund ... i[censored] need other clarification just mail to [protected]@yahoo.com

      I have a complaint about my bsnl broadband connection. My connection is registered in my mother's name. Our plan is "Home 500 C".We are located in the Pathanamthitta telecom district, Kerala state.

      .In the bsnl mela in Pathanamthitta on january 2009, we registered the connection.We selected the yearly plan in which Rs5000 had to be paid yearly but my mother is a government employ so there is a 20% deduction for her.BUT WE got three different bills from february2009 to april30, 2009. The first was for the broadband alone and its charge was Rs 2556.Second bill was for telephone connection and its charge was Rs 552.The third bill was combined bill and was Rs5721 and overall we payed Rs8829 whithin 3 months.When we asked about this in the bsnl office they have said that for yearly plan there is no deduction but in the bsnl mela at pathanamthitta we registered this connection after hearing about this deduction from the bsnl officials. So Please tell me how this much bill came.Deduction for government employs is not valied here.So please inform me the right money i have to pay and if I get back the extra paid money.

        My last bill dated 10/12/2008 amounting to Rs. 1104.00 was to be paid by 27/12/2008. The same was deposited at the Cell one customer care shop by cheque No. 449328 on 22/12/2008 and cleared by clearing from my account on 27/12/2008. However, the company barred all outgoing calls from 30/12/2008 on the plea of non-payment of dues. On calling up customer care at [protected] the problem was rectified after 2 days. I am shocked to see that the company has charged reconnection charges of Rs. 100/- x 2 = Rs. 200/- in the bill dated 10/01/2009, under the head "Reconnection Charges dated 02/12/2008.
        I am claiming imediate refund of the above Rs. 200/- wrongly claimed from me and an apology fromthe company.

        Bill No.[protected] dated 10/03/2009 for my mobile no. [protected] shows a prevoius balance of Rs. 700.00 that was paid by me on 25/02/2009 (Cheque No. 26672 on UBI, Park St, Kolkata - 700 016) and has been cashed by BSNL on 07/03/2009 (as per my Bank Account Pass Book).

        What should I do now? Pay 1, 237.00 or total bill amount less 700.00

        Please don't send me to your local office, as that costs me a day's break from office.
        Bill No.[protected] dated 10/03/2009 for my mobile no. [protected] shows a prevoius balance of Rs. 365.00 that was paid by me on 25/02/2009 (Cheque No. 26673 on UBI, Park St, Kolkata - 700 016) and has been cleared and deposited to BSNL account on 07/03/2009 (as per my Bank Account Pass Book).

        What should I do now? Pay 740.00 or total bill amount less 365.00?

        Calling your 24x7 service no. [protected], I have been advuised -
        1) To see your local office; and, settle with them;
        2) Why I do not have any receipt of the last month's bill payment? ( we don't know how to get that when we have deposited the cheque in the drop box of BSNL, and BSNL has cleared the same). Please advise me on this and issue a receipt; or, fire your Call Center Agency!

        bsnl postpaid mobile — Excess billing

        I holder of post paid mobil no. [protected] a/c no.[protected] request that i had Rs. 100 plan upto last july 2009 and i was receiving bills above Rs. 600/-pm .           The land line bill for Nov-Dec08 phone no 2457736 was received in the 2nd week of Jan09, last date of payment was 27Jan, bill was paid was on 22/01/09.But the outgoing call was stopped within 2nd week and even after bill payment connection is not restored.

          The land line phone no 2243967 bill was paid was on 28/08/09. at argora extension counter, But the outgoing call was stopped from last 1 week and even after bill payment connection is not restored.

            I am also a Manik Jod customer since Oct/2007. BSNL is doing an injustice on their esteemed customers by imposing a mly rental charge of Rs. 40/- and this a breach of contract. BSNL should withdraw the imposition of charge immediately, otherwise I protest it and request TRAI to look into the matter for the interest of the BSNL Manik Jod customers.

BSNL sent its hired people and somewhat forcefully convinced me that I should discontinue with my existing prepaid excel connection and try with the Manik Jod seem card particularly since it has a number of facilities one of which it is rental free. If we are living in a civilized country I hope that BSNL will soon review its decision to impose rental charges and repair its image.

I have two kids boy is studying 5th std and my girl baby is studying 1st. We have no income to maintain our family. After he's death there is no relation in kerala, my father and mother are staying in chennai so i like to move to chennai.

            I am soubhanik das existing customer bsnl land line wb circle Kol-Dhaniakhali(SSA) my land line no is[protected]. i geeting a sim against land line (manik jore plan ) sim no [protected]. as per police it a free call from mobile no to that land line, but few days when i calling my land line then amount deduct from my balance. pse notify me what is the cause and if possible pleas slove the problem.

              when I was trying to contact one of my friends, one hearing some recorded voice, I pressed the star button BY MISTAKE. Immediately, I received a message from 56700 saying I copied the song and Rs.35/- will be charged; and Rs.12/- p.m. will be debited to my account. Mine is a PREPAID one. Without knowing what is happening, I gave a SMS to the same 56700 to stop any action in this regard. But, to my irritation again, I received another SMS within seconds saying that I should register my request in a proper FORMAT/KEYWORD. That message did not guide me as to what format and keyword should I use for stopping the back tune and I never confirmed any downloading of any such tune. For a simple fault of mine pressing the star button inadvertently, the service provider cannot take it for granted and rob away any amount from my account. The BSNL should not allow such robbery from the customers. When I called the Number 56700, I was boomaranged with several voice guidance, ultimately to land up in loosing some more call chages. No proper message is given to me for deactivating or stopping their proposed hasty action of robbing from my BSNL prepaid account. After several attempts, getting help from one of my friends who is working in BSNL. I was able to get the correct format/key word BT DACT and I immediately sent that message to 56700 on the same day.. Again I got a reply messae saying that "I have not yet subscribed to the tune and on the contrary, that message again prompts for downloanding songs and provides the "so called" format/keyword for such downloading only. It did not provide anything for DEACTIVATION. It is a sheer business tactics and shameful action for such a service provider. At any cost, such cheating by any service provided could not be encouraged by BSNL. I request the concerned BSNL Officers to use their good office to stop such fradulant means of cheating the public. MY CELL NO.[protected]. I am expecting a reply from BSNL concerned Officer. The cell one Help line Customer Service Support Officers in [protected] (Shri VINODH. S.T. employee No.44269 was also evasive in his reply - refer complaint No.267794 of 23.01.09.
              Not even the Telephone No. of the concerned Official's was given for taking up the matter with higher level of officers to put an end to this day-robery by the service provider 56700.

                I have an BSNL prepaid no. i put top up rs:100 easy recharge on 20/07/09 at 8:41 PM but still now i am not received any amount to my mobile, i called customer care for several times a day but no response the customer care executive said to go to the shop and call again ask them to connect rajesh. i went to near shop i called again to connect the Rajesh but they said no we cant. i gave phone to shopkeeper. the shopkeeper talked as an customer like me. But then also no response the Customer care Executive is not talking properly. Again the shopkeeper called customer care again they gave one no:[protected] to call. The customer care service is very worst. i called several times a day the customer care executive said i will block the no if you call again. This is not proper response. I spent my money to top up and am getting scolding from the Executive. I lost my patience.                   I have already met JTO Mr.Jevali (Bangalore, jayanagar 4 th block exchange)2 to 3 times. They told me cable is not available.And also Met with Mr.Siddapa (engineer) ((Bangalore, jayanagar 4 th block exchange) 3 times. They told same story. But my building bsnl cable junction box is alredy connected. They are connected 3 to 4 person. Why the peole are doing like that?

                    We have cancelled BSNL broadband connection from July 7th 2008, and still not yet received the deposit amount 1500 Rs. We need to enable the broadband connection again, they are asking us to pay the new deposite again, for the previous deposit refund they are not giving the correct response.

                      Hello All,

                      It is a pity that experienced and qualified officers at BSNL is now not able to comprehend and look into the facts in my complaint which is now being formally raised the fourth time here.

                      Just restating from my previous mail:

                      To sum up the complaint still persists on account of following reasons:
                      1) The deposit interest on Rs. 3, 500/- for the period 18th April 2007 to 12 Sept 2008 (513 days) to be given as credit on my account
                      2) the broadband Dataone charges and modem charges are to be deducted for the period starting from 12th Sept. to 15th Nov. 2008 (for non-availablity of services)
                      3) my telephone connection was dead for 3 days (from 12th to 15th Nov 2008): rental rebate including Dataone charges and modem charges to be given
                      4) Pending the dispute on the bills, my telephone has been disconnected for non-payment from 19/Nov/2008. This was also informed to the investigating officer on two incoming calls that I had received from the phone number[protected]st call on 21/11/2008 at 10:24 AM & 2nd call on 22/11/2008 at 4:14 PM). Hence rental rebate including Dataone charges and modem charges to be given for the period starting from 19th Nov 2008 till the date on which BSNL plans to reinstate my connection.
                      5) Reactivate my connection after informing me on the exact amount that needs to be paid after all adjustments requested for in the points (1) to (4) raised above are accounted for.

                      Please let me know if you would want me to calculate the rebates that needs to granted pertaining to the issues stated above.

                      Attached below is the scanned copy of the three letters that I had received from yourselves.




                      Though partially the problem has been looked into and a rebate of Rs. 240/- granted; it is quite ironic that new bills also have been raised in the interim taking my total outstanding to Rs. 2, 119/- (Rs. 208 the revised amount for bill no. [protected], Rs. 754 for bill no. [protected], Rs. 584 for bill no. [protected], Rs. 573 for bill no. [protected] ) when the telephone and internet services have been disconnected by BSNL from the 19th Nov 2008.

                      It seems to quite unfortunate that a company like BSNL is unable to resolve my grievance completely even after about THREE months.

                      Hello All,

                      Another huge disappointment. My complaint has been closed without addressing all the issues that I had raised via my e-mails below. The resolution is quite unsatisfactory and it makes the last sentence of your letter ("Thanking you and assuring you of our best attention always") fully meaningless.

                      From the letter that I had received yesterday as a response to my complaint (letter from BSNL given as .pdf attachment herein), the last part where it mentions to whom all the letter is marked, I quote " 2. SDE (PG)... for kind information and for closing the cases from the PGRMS site, pl."; serious doubts arise within as to whether the investigation was to address my concerns or was simply to find a solution to close the complaint on the PGRMS site.



                      The letter also states "drop wire replaced". From my understanding, the drop wire is the wire that connects my telephone to the post from where the connection is given. If that is correct, then the drop wire has not be replaced as no BSNL personnel had visited my premises to check on this complaint or for replacing the drop wire. Your letter stating broadband services has been restored by itself validates my complaint that the services were unavailable.

                      On my visit to the BSNL Indiranagar office on 15 Nov 2008, the external engineer had stated that there was problem with my login credentials and that was reassigned to make my broadband connection functional. So I do not really believe the rectification measures stated in your letter, which is rather given for the sake of a reason.

                      To sum up the complaint still persists on account of following reasons:
                      1) The deposit interest on Rs. 3, 500/- for the period 18th April 2007 to 12 Sept 2008 (513 days) to be given as credit on my account
                      2) the broadband Dataone charges and modem charges are to be deducted for the period starting from 12th Sept. to 15th Nov. 2008 (for non-availablity of services)
                      3) my telephone connection was dead for 3 days (from 12th to 15th Nov 2008): rental rebate including Dataone charges and modem charges to be given
                      4) Pending the dispute on the bills, my telephone has been disconnected for non-payment from 19/Nov/2008.                       Hello All,

                      This mail is an update on the current situation further to my previous mail.

                      Finally, I got to see my broadband connection working from the 15th Nov 2008. To my surprise my telephone connection was dead for 3 days (from 12th to 15th Nov 2008). It was caused by some technical glitch at the exchange (something related to ‘wedge’). Even for this I had visited the exchange again for a solution.

                      Further to earlier e-mail, my grievance is now being looked into. But the officer is not quite sure whether a rebate can be given to me for the time when my broadband connection has not been working. The possible suggestion would be to ask the relevant authorities to check my usage during the period and decide. To me the solution is quite clear; I will not pay a penny for services not rendered to me. I have been suffering from the deficiency in the different services rendered such as prolonged delay in local shift, no formal communication on delay, excess billing, incorrect billing, improper service on call center lines, closure of complaints without addressing the problem, delay in grievance resolution etc…

                      To make it clear, the broadband Dataone charges and modem charges are to be deducted for the period starting from 12th Sept. to 15th Nov. 2008. The relevant taxes should also go down by the same proportion.

                      Please be informed that the once the new outstanding bill after the requested rebates in full and the interest credit (for 513 days) is given, I would be settling the dues till date. Please make sure that Broadband services are charged only from 15th Nov 2008 in the next bill and not the entire period.

                      To add insult to injury, my telephone services has been suspended from today for non payment of bills which are under dispute. This will also mean that the rental and fixed charges for the period of non-service will again have to deducted in my future bills as the payment is pending because of the dispute on billing detailed in the mails herein.

                      Brief History:
                      Local Shift was pending from 18 April 2007 (OB NO.[protected] from Koramangala Exchange to IndiraNagar Exchange. The connection was finally given on 12 Sept 2008 after personally following up many many times by visiting the BSNL office at IndiraNagar (80 ft. road).

                      Bill No. [protected] was raised 14/10/2008 for net amount of Rs. 5, 172/-. This was further revised when I had taken this up with the Customer Relations Officer and the Jr. Accounts Officer on the 21 Oct 2008. The revised amount is now Rs. 448/-.

                      I hope that looking at the history you would understand the reasons for my dissatisfaction and frustration that I have been undergoing for over one and half years on having a connection in my name with no telephone line at my residence. At least this time I need to tell everybody the reason due to which all this built up to an unsatisfied customer for BSNL. I still remember the numerous visits that I had made to the BSNL office for a solution and when I was asked to meet different people and even people were transferred in between the period and there was not end to my problem. Finally it was only on the interference of AM (East) that I got the present connection. I also know that even when my connection was pending for technical feasibility, there were other connections that were given from the same post/area during the interim period.

                      Current Problems:
                      There are two things which has to be rectified again:

                      1) My interest earnings on the deposits that I had with BSNL during the period from 18th April 2007 to 12 Sept 2008 where I did have a connection as the Local shift was pending for nearly one and a half years (513 days). Deposits of Rs. 3, 000/- (Paid on 28 Feb 2006) on the Landline connection with ISD facility and Rs. 500/- (Paid on 04/03/2006) Deposit on the Modem for the DataOne BroadBand connection.

                      2) After the new connection (Ph. No.[protected]was given at Tippasandra on 12 Sept 2008, I have made the following complaints regarding Dataone Broadband not working
                      a) 11 Sept 2008 – Complaint No. 11090106 logged on 1500 – The Engineer checked the status through the phone and said that the line was weak.
                      b) 12 Sept 2008 - Complaint No. 12090047 logged on 1500
                      c) 11 Oct 2008 - Complaint No. 11100155 logged on 1500 – The executive refused to re-open the previous complaint but instead gave me a new complaint number.
                      d) 25 Oct 2008 – The executive on 1500 banged the phone (time: 1:45 PM) showing refusal to lodge or re-open the earlier complaint.
                      e) 25 Oct 2008 - Interacted with four different engineers on Broadband complaints no. [protected] between 1:50 PM and 4:00 PM. Finally a complaint has been lodged with no. 1008/454 so that an Engineer would visit my place to check on the problem. Three times the line got disconnected when I was placed on hold by the BSNL executive. An escalation contact was not provided even on request except for the mail id: "[protected]@bsnldataone.in"
                      As my Broadband connection has not been working from 12 Sept 2008 till date, I see no reason for me to pay the Dataone plan charges and the Modem Charges on my bill No. [protected]

                      Solution expected:
                      1) The deposit interest on Rs. 3, 500/- for the period 18th April 2007 to 12 Sept 2008 (513 days) to be given as credit on my account
                      2) Reverse the Dataone plan charges and the Modem Charges on my bill No. [protected] as my Dataone Broadband connection has not been working and I have time and again raised it.
                      3) To immediately ask somebody who is responsible to look into my Broadband connection problem and rectify it to enable availability of services.

                      broadband bsnl — Defficiency in Customer Service

                      The broad band connection of bsnl on my phone No.2300223 has become a nightmare for me since the day first about 4 months ago.Your helpline seems to be the worst of all in the world as it does not work after 5 P.M which is the right time for majority o[censored]sers to surf internet which generally doest not work.Help line only notes the complaint and advise that the connection will be restored the next day after 10 A.M which is almost never done and in the evening the position is the same.The error code goes on changing frequently i.e 676, 678...etc. My connection is for a fixed monthly charges of Rs.750/-+taxes but the bill is alway above Rs.1000/- due to the fact that having left with no option I have to contact the other Nos. of JTO, SDO or Field Staff which are not free but chargeable and generally find them helpless and am assured to get the needful done the next day. I am also advised to visit their office during working hours the next day alongwith the Modem instead of deputing some one to my residence to replace or rectify the faulty equipment.I have not been able to utilize the broad band service satisfactorily as yet.
                      I have yet to say much but only suggest as under:
                      1.Please make your helpline effective and instead of putting clerical staff put some qualified staff who may be able to give immediate help.
                      2. All other concerned telephone Nos. which are dialled for broad band complaints only should be made toll free so that the customer is not forced to pay extra bill for his no fault.
                      Will you be kind enough to refund to me the extra amount charged over and above the fixed tariff and waive charges for the period during which the connection remains non-functional.
                      In the end, Sir, as you are fully aware that the BSNL is getting a very bad name day by day only for want of good and timely customer service and you sincerely want to improve it please take some immediate steps and DO SOMETHING URGENT TO ENABLE THE CUSTOMER TO UTILIZE THE BROAD BAND UNLIMITED as is advertised.
                      Sir, the facts and genuineness of my complaint may be verified from your computer record of my frequent complaints which have never been attended to but were removed for a short while automatically.

                        I gets messages for job alert about 10 to 12 times in a day. I don't need such thing at all.
                        To the height, without any SMS or information 20 Rs. is deducted from my balance each month.
                        On asking Customer Care, they provide a simple solution of sending SMS to Unsubscribe and
                        see the beauty of looting those useless SMS also cost Rs.2. I need to get rid of this thing,
                        as I have circulated my cell no to my friends and relatives etc. I can't change my operator also.

                        iam really very disatisfied with the type of service bsnl is providing.iam a prepaid customer of bsnl. without my notice there is a sudden reduction of my balance and if i call the customer care...first of all they will get connected with me after a waiting time of minimum 30mins and the ans is that "sir our server is not updated till now, call us after 48hrs". it really sucks that after waiting 30mins u get dis ans. i recharged my cell with 20rs, i got a msg that account is successfully rcharged but when i checked my balalnce it was not recharged...calling customer care is waste immediately as i know the ans...it is very irritating...plz help...

                          iam residing at guntur my telephone number is 2224635, i gave a compliant to the bsnl authorities on January 19th when i found my broad band connection is not working. Since that day iam repeatedly requesting those bsnl officials but nobody came and rectified my problem. yesterday i rang to the general manager guntur telecom office but the person who received my telephone call informed me that they cant do any thing as union election is going on staff is very busy in that election.today i again requested concerned officials, they told that they come today and rectify the problem but nobody came.
                          iam surprising though my compliant was registered on January 19th itself why no bsnl official is bothered to attand my compliant i request concerned to rectify my broad band problem and i further request to take necessary action against the responsible persons who neglected duties

                            BSNL is a name that we trust. However, our trust and faith, as it seems, is going down the drains. I have applied for a broadband internet connection dated 19th November 2008. I was assured of installation within 15 days, an official protocol. However, I am writing this complaint on the 22nd January 2009, which is well beyond the given period of time and I have not received the connection as yet.

                            So do we really consider that BSNL is doing its best to break its official protocols and unnecessarily harassing its consumers or do we keep blaming the regular hartals that the management has to fight? It is disgraceful that Calcutta Telephones is doing so much to shoo its consumers off. Initially I used to suggest BSNL services to all my business partners and subordinates along with my friends and association, but today I realise I have made a mistake by not suggesting other service providers.

                            I am well aware that this complaint would go down the garbage dump (as it happens in most cases), yet I am trying my level best to voice my concern as I want to save future applicants from needless harassment.

                            At presenthe did not received any information from BSNL AJMER &notgot connection.It is very unfortunate&should not be happened in ara of progressive stage of BSNL

                            I Activate BSNL GPRS Service for using internet on mobile from last 15 days but from last 3 days internet not connect & show message connection failed.

                              My self Brham Prakash. I have got BSNL broadband connecion on my landline telephone No.[protected]. I am facing constant dropout in net connection for the last three month. Speed is good, but my time is consumed in connecting the net every two minute.

                                My no is [protected]. I want to deactivate the caller tune service, has in the process iam trying the send message "UNSUB ALL" to 56700 as specified in the bsnl site. But i am unable to send the message and i am repeated getting the failure status fro the message i am trying to send.
                                So, Please look after the problem and take an appropriate action.

                                Kinldy take necessary action towards de-activation of the caller tune service.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I have personally sent my application to the BSNL office in Ghaziabad (near delhi border) to cancel my broadband. It is more than days now. I got the stamped copy of the application. The connection is still active and we are wondering how long it will take.

                                  We have called their office but haven't received a proper response.

                                  My bsnl telephone number is[protected].

                                  Please help me to cancel this connection. They are saying that I will have to pay the bill until they decide to cancel at their own sweet will.

                                  1 The broad band modem is not working since last 11 days. complaint filed the telephone exchange/JTO since then. No action taken so far. Hnce i want immediate attention by concerned authority. Also no billing be made during the non functional period.

                                  2 The telephoen No[protected] is not functioning properly. We cannot hear anything from the otherside. Complaint filed with (on phone) the exchange remain unattended. Pl take immediate action.

                                    telephone out of order

                                    In spite of repeated complaints, my tel no 2431247, at D10 in SEc 44 has been out of order for last 20 days, not that it works continuously anyway, but still this is the longest duration that it has been dead & looking at some other complaints i wonder if they have disconnected, i am paying my dues regularly so there is no reason as such, but with bsnl noida you never know !...
