Bharat Sanchar Nigam [BSNL] Complaints & Reviews

I have been cheated by one of your representatives by BSNL. Here is the series of events :

I called in the following number([protected]) which is listed in Google as the fiber Optic connection (Screenshots attached below). The representative asked me to communicate in whats app.
I inquired the price for a new connection, which he shared as 4500 INR, which he later explained on call that this would include all costs including setup, new routers and accessories etc.
Once the payment is made, he responded back stating that I need to make a payment of additional 2500.

Now when questioned, they are neither ready to refund the amount nor ready to do the installation unless an additional 2500 is paid. They are just forcing me to make additional payment of INR 2500.
They are also not responding in whatsapp or mail and not picking up my call. Proof of all conversation can be provided.

I would like to bring to your attention that Bsnl staffs at Alappuzha bsnl office are misbehaving with customers. They are very rude and arrogant. They do not pick up the phone when customers are calling to enquire about the matter. When we make frequent calls to the customer care number at Alappuzha bsnl office, they attend the call and shower us with obscene language. Staffs at billing desk are so rude. Even senior citizens and pensioners are abused by them. They show no remorse for their act. I was being abused by them before. It's sad that they are cheating this unique office run by the central government.Forwarding this complaint to the manager of Alappuzha bsnl won't help. He is too arrogant and he is too crossing the limit and abusing the customers. Its their rude behavior and psycophancy the BSNL is loosing its valuable customers.
Here I request you to investigate the issue and bring the erring officers at Alappuzha BSNL to book..

My mother's mobile number is [protected]. I have recharged for Rs 74 plan on 21st Nov 2020 but yesterday on 3rd Dec 2020 it got changed automatically to Rs 106 plan which is not what I intended. Kindly resolve this issue otherwise I will have to change my mobile network operators.

My BSNL Broadband is not working properly since 12/10/2020. The internet speeds are as low as 80 kbps and gets disconnected frequently. There is road widening work going on in the area due to which the contractors have cut the cables in numerous places. Local exchange is unable to resolve this as they DONT have any Technicians to do the same. As per the officer the contract of technicians have not been renewed and they haven't reporter to duty since 01/10/2020 because of this I am unable to properly use Broaband. As my house is situated in remote part of the state there is no other network coverage other than BSNL and other Broaband ISP are not ready to provide connection in such place. So BSNL is unable to provide service and we're at impasse. Please anybody here in this forum can help then please do ASAP. As broaband & telephone in this part is very important for emergencies as there no other means of communication.

Unable to send PORT SMS from registered BSNL number to generate UPC number. Any attempts to send PORT SMS to 1900 on registered BSNL number results in SMS send failure.

I can send SMS and make calls to any number but PORT SMS is not happening. I called BSNL helpline 1503 and after waiting for 40 minutes, the call automatically ended.

Need assistance to PORT out of BSNL as their service and customer service is appalling.

My rent agreement was from 10/03/2014 to 09/03/2019.
from is agreement ihave not get single month rent nd after that since this agreement its was expired not new agreement was made..
this is not proper was of agreement.

Removal of pole

We are having bsnl pole right in front of our house, house no 784, Barot vago adas 388305 Anand adas Gujarat. there are no bsnl connections anymore and this pole is used by other local tv and electrical cable operators wires are also tied with the support of the pole which are coming in front of our house
So I request to please remove this pole from here

After sending Porting Request from my bsnl mobile number [protected] i am getting message request for UPC for your mobile no. [protected] could not be processed. Please retry after sometime. I request trai to help me with this. I am ready to move consumer court against bsnl if problem not solved here.

Here i have 3g network but the network speed is 28kb/s.During this covid time all our online classes and works are dependend on the network only so i request you solve this problem as soon as possibile

This is Siddharth Trivedi S/O Chaitanyakumar Trivedi. I m using the Postpaid plan of BSNL(PLAN-99) since last 10 years.But now i want to change it into the Prepaid plan with same number. But they(BSNL Ahmedabad) r not ready to convert it into Prepaid .According to TRAI it is possible to convert the no. from postpaid to prepaid.

So, Please suggested me what should i do for changing it. I m giving some related information about the Cell No.

Sir, I am Sripathy residing at NANJANGUD town MYSORE district. Three days back I went to BSNL office for purchasing a sim card, but the officer told to come one week after.I wondered other companies ready to give thousands of connection in a day but a well reputed company take one week to provide a sim. How can the company survive under this competitive world if follows tortoise speed.please make them to provide services as consumer want other wise its impossible to see BSNL board in a decade.please

Requested for porting code in 1900 but i got a message from 1901 upc can not be generated there are some contractual obligations in ur number please contact service providers.

My number for BSNL is 2511020, its a new connection, i have opted for ADSL broadband of 499 plan. Where i should get 8 mbps of speed. But speed that i get when check is only 1 mbps to 1.5.mbps always. Please get my issue fixed or i will be forced to cancel the broadband and telephone line. Plz help.
