Bharti Airtel — Online data plan recharge process grievance | |||
I would like to bring my experience regarding online recharge of my data plan, initiated today 20th Aug 2015. Just a while ago, I was in process of attempting the recharge of my data plan using airtel online website. After completing data entry and various selections in airtel website and internet banking website, an error message got displayed by the payment gateway. Subsequently, I tried to recharge on 3 different occasions using internet banking and once using my debit card. All the 4 attempts displayed the same error highlighting the transaction failure. Surprisingly, my bank account got debited on all the 4 occasions even when the error highlights that the “payment has been declined by the bank”. I am bit surprised as to 1. how the bank account can get debited when the transaction didn’t go through and 2. the credentials of your payment gateway (citruspay) Further it is a bit too harsh for letting the customer wait for 7 days towards refund for a recharge which didn’t take place. I had a similar experience last month during an earlier recharge process. I wanted to bring this to your kind attention for immediate resolution. Suggest that this grievance be handled on a priority basis, now that RBI has approved Bharti Airtel as a payment bank. Regards Was this information helpful? | |||
