We purchased a cug connection for my company and after a couple of months the quality of service and reception of networks dropped significantly. We lodged a complaint on october, 2014 and began following up on the same and finally airtel sent their engineer to visit our site in july, 2015. No improvements have been made. We dont know what to do now.

    I have been using Airtel Postpaid since more than 2 years and everything was working fine, but since more than 6 months, the network is null, I even can't receive anyone's call in my home area. Due to network issue, I have even disconnected internet packs. I have complained them more than 10 times, but each and every time they say that we are taking care, but no action is being taken. I am a regular customer of Airtel and have been paying my bill on time, but the service they are providing is pathetic.

    the similar issue i'm facing from last one month. There is no proper response from Airtel customer care.

    I have raised a complaint thru airtel.[protected]@airtel.com

    Ref#PO[protected]. Your mail says will get back in 2 hours. But its more that 24 hours.

    Planning to switch to other network. Enough being with Airtel.

        Hi, I am a user of Airtel 4G hotspot Wifi device that I recently bought from your Phoenix Telecom office ( Hegde nagar Bangalore). I bought the device on 9th May 2015 and had SPECIFICALLY told the person selling it to me that I need to use it in Lucknow(Uttar Pradesh). He said that 4G is available in Lucknow and in case I have any issues in Lucknow, it will be rectified in Lucknow cuistomer service centre. But I am sorry to state that I have been kept in dark. My device was not showing signals properly for which I had logged 2 complaints. My compalints were also not answered.There were still network issues. I had to go to customer service center since my device stopped working all of a sudden. I went t o Hazratganj customer service center in Lucknow on 10th July. I was informed by the center people that 4G DOESNOT work in Lucknow and so they will not be able to rectify the device. Also I was informed that it will be rectified in Bangalore only since 4G is in Bangalore . Due to all this I had to buy a new modem at my place in Lucknow. I donot wish to have this device now as it is USELESS for me. I had bought this device for Lucknow house but since Lucknow doesnot have 4G, I donot wish to keep it. Also I have now installed a new modem at my place. I want this device to be RETURNED back. when I went to the office from which I bought this device, a person named Imran Pasha bluntly refused to take back the device. FIRSTLY I was sold this device without stating clearly if 4G was there in Lucknow or not SECONDLY I was not provided service support in Lucknow for this device THIRDLY the device stopped working within 2 months of its purchase. I am a regular customer of Airtel. My husband is using Airtel network since 5years now. I myself switched from Vodafone to Airtel 2years back. My mother uses airtel. I am SHOCKED at this service of Airtel wherein they donot take back a device if its faulty/sold at wrong information. I urge you to kindly refund me back the amount spent on this device as its a complete loss for m in keeping this device now. Details : IMEI NO: [protected] Number :[protected] I want the refund of Rs2300 AT ANY COST. AIRTEL is a FRAUD i can say now.

          I purchased an AirTel nanoSim and $30 USD worth of prepaid data for my iPhone 6 on a recent visit to Kenya. After four days of calls to their customer service, and being assured each time that my sim card would become "active" in 5 minutes, 30 minutes, sometime this afternoon or tomorrow morning. I finaly tossed the sim card into the trash and bought a Safaricom card, which I had working in under a minute. Airtel is absolutely worthless. Don't waste your time and money with this aweful provider.

            For days the airtel service provider here in Hnahthial Mizoram fails to provide service to the customers. It is a fact that there is no signal all the time. This poses untold problems for the airtel customers her in Hnahthial. I request for the restoration of service as soon as possible.

                Sir/Mam I want to register a complaint against a forgery happened with me today date 16/08/2015, someone called me and said that he is calling airtel head office and you win a price on occasion of Independence day and he told me to communicate nearby any airtel retailer to collect your balance in your mobile account, after that I reached one retailer and called to talk to this person but he speak to the retailer for easy(ezzy)I don”nt know about that term, after that retailer recharged his mobile number-[protected] after that he told me to give 1000 rupees, I totally shocked why this retailer meaning for money, he expianed me but I told him that I gave my phone to you for listening what he is saying, Retailer didn’t listening me and at the end I pay 1000 rupees t retailer .I totally chocked and I didn’t find any solution in retailer side and customer care of airtel, is there any provision to back my money back.                   Dear Official, My Borad band number is[protected] and my mobile no is [protected] I am continuously facing disconnection of my Internet since from last 3 months, every time the problem got reoccurred in a week or 10 days. I logged my last complaint 10 days before and the executive Suggest that my modem is having issue and that needs to be replaced, I purchase the new modem and configured it 3 days before . and after that I am facing the same issue as before so I talked with Customer cure on 15 Aug 2015 at 11:30 Am from my mobile ([protected]) about the issue and gently Asked her that your executive suggested and diagnose wrong thing for modem replacement and it causes me extra unnecessary expenses, she forwarded the discussion to Sr executive Mr Dev and he is not ready to listing the issue I am facing or I am trying to explain he starts talking aggressively with very bad language like “I understand your hindi as well as English, I cannot do anything in this regards, our engineers are always right etc etc. These guys are saying now its cable fault and all the phones in your area is not working I checked with my neighbor the also have airtel connection and everything is working fine in the locality . I cannot accept this kind of behavior from a sr. executive though I am using this connection since from last 8 years And why should I pay for the mistake made by Airtel engineer or Airtel itself Do needful action against him and my concern asap

                    My 4G LTE number is: [protected] & i had been complaining since more than 25days about the snail slow speed or non connectivity. The few reference numbers: 64685909 raised on 1/8/15, 64009289 raised on 14/8/15, were not attended to but false promises stating every thing would be OK or try to pay & take some more data are the only answers that we keep getting. The billing data is 19th & from 23rd to 26th there was no connectivity, when complained was informed that there was some technical issue & during the billing the credit for that days would be given, but who is going to pay for my losses that i had to incurred for not doing my official work. Right after 4 more days when we connect the dongle it shows as authenticating for 20-25 minutes & the response is still the same even after 15 days of raising the complaint. To open a web browser it takes more than 25 mnts & you call this 4G???? They are cheating people with false promises & life long free internet if the connectivity is slow...Please do be glad to know that the snails are faster than your 4G speed.

                      I recharged my airtel number with 50 rupees, and get 40 rupees talktime balance, suddenly 35 rupees got deducted from my account due to some unknown service activated which i had never used nor activated. therfore i called the customer care for the enquiry of my deduction they said " we renewed this service with your permission" which i am not aware of they added " we will not refund any money in any case" therefore its my humble request, please look after this very familiar problem which took place with almost every mobile user nowadays thank you...

                        To begin with, I have to say Airtel's 3G service is of a low standard, at least in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Even after my complaint, with Ref.no.C3GDC[protected], the signal drops frequently and the connection is very sluggish. I have two Airtel connection, one prepaid number [protected] and one post paid number [protected] for my internet needs. I spend on average 2500 rupees monthly on their sub standard service. The irony of their services can be explained. I had written a lengthy detailed complaint and when I hit the submit button, the connection was lost. It took me great courage to write another complaint. I hope they understand what I mean. To be on the safe side, I will copy this message in case I lose the connection, the probability for which is 9 in 10 chances. I hope Airtel gets the point. Kindly upgrade your networks or if your networks cannot take the load then put a cap to your subscribers instead of fooling them in paying enormous amounts of money for services which they do not really receive.

                          Hello, Around a month pack I went to Airtel Store located on Dairy Circle, Bangalore (Near Forum Mall Back). I submitted all the documents and filled the form to PORT my prepaid Tata Docomo number [protected] into Airtel prepaid number and they charged Rs 30 fee (no bill). The porting should done in a weeks time and Store Staff said that the same SIM, i.e. Tata Docomo will automatically stop and will be live on Airtel network means I don't have to get Airtel new SIM. Submitted secondary number too for verification and on July 24 I got sms on [protected] from Sender ID 1901 stating that "Porting request validated and accepted. Porting time"[protected]:11:00.802 for mobile[protected] and post that Tata Docomo stopped the service. Next day I went to Brigade Road's Airtel Store to check the status and they said that the porting process is done and my number is live on Airtel SIM but earlier Airtel store staff didn't gave me new Airtel SIM. Brigade Airtel Store staff told me that I have to re-visit the same store, i.e. Dairy Circle where I submitted the bill and need to ask for the SIM. On July 26 I went to Dairy Circle store and explained the situation, firstly they apologized for the mistake and offered me new Airtel SIM (the shared SIM number is[protected].) and said that the new SMS will get active in next 1-2 days. Store Staff who offered me the new SIM, Shanthala having email id - a_immaculate.[protected]@airtel.com from the same day I am following up with her and asking for the store manager number but no result. On Aug 14, she mailed "Greetings, as per d update I think still your old sim is only active, please update on what can be done to help you best." I replied - "Hi, please activate my sim ASAP. Activation of SIM should not take more than 1 days once old SIM (Tata Docomo) stops. I had earlier all the docs and copy of SIM, so please manage this internally as I want to use my number at the earlier. I had earlier procured vanity Tata number @ Rs 50K (2 years ago) - if you would not be able to help - I have to go by LAW only. Please Update!" Post that she replied that "Iv forwarded the same mail to my manager, she s marked a mail from her side too. We will get it resolved for you sir." It's almost a month I am not able to use my number and was not able to access many services as my number is linked with varies accounts. I used to follow-up regularly but no result. Please Help!                             I have applied for airtel broadband connection in 3rd Jan 2015, After calling again and again airtel executive came to collect installation charge of 1000 and collected documents and said I will be getting a invoice on mail, and connection will be done in two days. I didn't got any invoice after. When I called back after two days they asked me to wait for one or two days, and its been 10 days they keep asking me to wait more. These are the following numbers from which I got call from [protected] (Now this number is out of order) The guy delegated to another executive named Sekhar ([protected]) On calling this guy he always ask to wait more. And than the guy who collected money and my documents Sohendra ([protected]) This guy now stopping picking my phone. I am very frustrated with airtel service, and how they deal with new customers. And I really want to know, why it is taking so long, and why I didn't got any invoice or reference no after my payment.

                              Very frequently airtel has been deducting my balance on several episodes. On asking they say its because of my 3g internet pack. When i claimed that my 3g airtel pack is still active and enough mega byte of data left they say in defense my data usage is too high then i have in my account. My contention is that airtel shoud deduct from my 3g pack and then from my main balance. This has become an ulterior method of deduction in name of 3g. While talking to the executive their responses are such as if they dont care. The concerned no is [protected]. Hop airtel take cognizance to the matter.

                                I had submitted all the required documents - Passport and PAN xerox airtel store. After 15 days of following up, they tell me they have lost all my documents and have resubmit my documents again. They can't return my documents, which can be used for illegal subscription of sim card to other people.

                                  With deep frustation, I was writing this expecting some response. I purchased Airtel's 4G Wifi hotspot with the MSISDN #[protected] from the Airtel store at Sarojini Nagar (South Square) on 25th July, 2015. I have taken a subscription for 3 months along with the device upfront. The very next day I got a message informing the device had been activated and the same was ready for use. But the hotspot was not getting connected to the backend. Visited the store many a time only to observe cold response from the store personnel every time. No one was willing to resolve the issue. An unskilled support guy at the store gave a suggestion to follow up with device vendor (ZTE here). Another assumed it a problem with the SIM and procured a new one to replace the earlier one. None of these worked. On the other visit, they APPARENTLY raised a ticket in their system and asked me to wait for a couple of days. Nothing happened yet. Nor were they ready to accept back the device in exchange for my money. I was given a contact number (of the store) : +91 [protected]. And it never seemed to work. With such a ruthless personnel operating the stores, it is not possible for a common man to redress for their losses. I would recommend not to go for AIRTEL's services. Note: To the AIRTEL team: I am not a one born with silver spoon to pay someone for no services received. Request you to pay my money back. Sorry that I subscribed to your services, the biggest mistake I ever did.

                                  Its been 4 days since you assured an action. Neither did the service resume nor did I receive any calls from your customer care representatives.

                                  It is just that you guys pay deaf ears to your consumers' concerns.

                                  Why do you sell the devices when you know you guys are not just competent enough to resolve the issues at run time.

                                  And its almost been a month after I bought the device.

                                  AIRTEL is just looting its consumers. KINDLYYYYYY give me way out to get my money back. Not at all interested any more in writing these public threads or emails .

                                      As the subject of this complaint suggests I am a victim of Airtel's unfair data usage calculation and excessive charging for the 3G data usage and through this forum I would like to throw light on how the telecom major uses petty and cheap tricks to drain the last penny out of its subscriber's pockets. So what Airtel does is that it charges you for using 3G from your account balance even if you have used 3G less than your data pack. And the worst part is that it is not a one time deduction this has been going on for a very long time now and they have been fooling their subscribers for quite some time. These deductions have happened with me on a regular basis and after getting totally frustrated by this I have decided to write this complaint as complaining to them on their IVR is of no use as they keep your call on a perpetual hold. I have been an Airtel subscriber for ages now but I think the buck stops here. I don't think I need to stress on the importance of keeping the subscriber happy, as it is we are paying a bomb for the outdated 3G data packs when everyone else has moved on to better and faster technologies of data transmission and after all that to get cheated is the last thing a consumer wants. What I want from Airtel is to look into this matter and resolve it as soon as possible as these practices are hurting their credibility. I got robbed of 400 rupees due to their unfair policies in the last such instance, I know it's not a big amount to you guys but it is about ethics in the end. Entering to the complete explanation: On Aug 14th midnight i.e entering to Aug 15th my balance was about Rs. 504-543, I activated Rs. 49 night data pack which gives 1GB data... I started updating mobile which consumes data 664.54 MB... But after updation I checked my bal it's Rs.202.64...I was tensed and called customer executive but it says we are connecting call and disconnects automatically, , , again I have activated night pack Rs.49 I have downloaded few videos which has total size of 700 MB suddenly video stopped downloading and I checked balance Rs.0...Guys what's going on here... (I am using bsnl Sim in my second mobile I have activated 3G pack of Rs.68 validity 7 days I have updated tat mobile and still browsing what's app etc... But still 150 MB remains) No intimation in between if I crossed data limit... Conclusion: I have activated 2 GB data and consumed from tat around nearly 1.8gb but why the nonsense you have deducted Rs. 400... I have called morning to customer service of airtel one guy spoked to me in the way as he couldn't do anything: Dileep nagender floor supervisor Request no.:[protected]. Please look into this...and revert back ASAP And I am going to file a complaint... Bcoz we the people work from morning to evening to earn Rs.400... It's not a small amount Sir/Madam..
