[Resolved] Bharti Airtel — refund

My friend was struggling to recharge her airtel mobile number and so I recharged for her number online. Since she wanted the 499 plan I selected it and made the payment through UPI. After making the payment, my friend did not receive any recharge successful message but received a message asking her to recharge with another plan. Kindly refund the amount of 499 to my account. If the 499 plan does not exist then why is it displayed on the web page? Do not deceive your customers and cause inconvenience to them. Was this information helpful? No (0) Yes (0)
Jun 8, 2020 Complaint marked as Resolved I contacted them on Twitter their customer support page and got the issue resolved. Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. I wonder why it would take so long to refund money. Airtel doesn't even have a proper customer care channel where grievances like this can be sorted. Being a loyal customer for years I am indeed disappointed with Airtel's reckless attitude. Forget about refund not a single executive from Airtel has tried to contact me regarding this issue. Airtel sucks to the core when it comes to helping out customers.

I've complained to airtel already unless you call a landline more than 5 -6 times, it doesn't connect. Calls from landlines also don't get connected.

I still haven't received any mail or call from Airtel neither has my money of 499 Rs been refunded. Why is it taking so long for airtel to refund for a failed recharge? Please look into it and resolve the issue.
