Noise complaint observe since first day of installation, technician who has came for installation was unable to resolve then another technician has cam after 10 days but complaint was closed with out resolution then again 3 time technician came and he misaligned the setting of hydraulic component cause to damage the furniture, also he created more problems.
continuously communicating to store but no proper response till date.

    We purchased a full bedroom set comprising of a double bed, 4 door wardrobe and a dressing table on 5th April 2015 from Home Town Vikhroli, the delivery of which was in parts ie upto the mid of June 2015 vide SO no [protected] and cust id. [protected].

    We have not even used this products for a 10 months now and are facing a lot of issues and complaints namely

    1. Cracks in the drawer panels.
    2. Bends in the drawer base
    3. Breakage of channels
    4. Un levelling of bed
    5. Bend in the hanger rod etc.

    A few complaints have been lodged to the customer service of "Home Town"and their people have visited and given temporary solutions like leveling by reversing the planks and fixing additional screws. Despite of our delicately handling the product, it has not been to our satisfaction. We are not been able to keep a book on these shelf's as it bends with its weight.

    We had invested our hard earned money in the the whole bedroom set in exchange of our DURABLE and STURDY BED AND WARDROBE just because the design was impressive and of course by the brand HOME TOWN from where we were purchased. In our wildest of dreams we did not expect such a substandard product would be sold by them.

    At least the store executive should have clearly describe the product, especially its quality and durability.We trusted the person who was selling this at your store and bought the same at in good faith. We even painted our bedroom with the matching colour to give an overall appeal to the room. All these are going waste as the products never cease giving trouble.

    We even wrote emails to Mr. Kunal Thakker and Mr. Sujit Mishra the product managers asking them to meet in person so that we can arrive at a permenant solution. However they showed no interest in meeting and resolving but instead offered to again repair the product. Ongoing repairs have led to cracks in the panels of the drawers and other parts of the furniture leaving it in a unusable condition.

    Now we are sure that the wardrobe is not strong enough even to hang cloths, keep hand bags or books as the planks bend.

    All these problems have left me with no choice than to give this complaint in writing and asking for a replacement of the said product with a durable and quality product, failing which, a refund of the money paid.

        I purchased( 3+1+1) Martin half leather sofa set from your shop at kathriguppe branch Bangalore-560085 on 30/9/2015. SO No - [protected] Cust Id- [protected]. Just a couple of months later the leather portion at the centre of seats started peeling of showing patches of brown colour like some skin disease. I registered a compliant on phone and promptly a technician came home and took some pictures ( Mr Venkatesh ). A few days later one Mr Praveen told me on phone that, they are awaiting some material from Nagpur and soon the defect will be rectified. This was also confirmed by your customer services on Phone. the compliant number they gave me is [protected].
        But 4/5 days back one Ms Shanti from Marathhalli Hometown Office- Bangalore phoned me up, saying the sofa can not be repaired and I should come and choose an alternative model as replacement. I went there today and saw some alternatives like Alexander/Lancaster etc.But what I learnt from her was just shocking and deeply disappointing. She told me that, like any other discount sales offer currently on, I return the old sofa as exchange and pay the difference. Depending upon the model it could be any thing above Rs 45000/- I have paid for Martin sofa set Rs 102600 against MRP of Rs 258000/- under discount + exchange offer. If I were to avail exchange offer, I can as well buy a new one by giving some old /torn sofa set. Why give new sofa purchased from your shop as exchange when it is supposed to be covered under warranty and still pay hefty amount?
        This is plainly unacceptable and dishonoring of warranty and betrayal of trust which reposed in a big company like yours.
        I would request you to either get this repaired or offer me a sofa set of a model with equivalent features ( of course of assured quality level, not like this one).
        I have told Ms Shanti the same thing as narrated above and have said that, I am not prepared to sink any more money in to this.
        I shall be grateful, if you can kindly appreciate the reason and fairness on the issue and standby your commitment to customers.

          On 14.04.2016 I visited on of your big bazaar point in agra at Sanjay Place near Dominos, there they flashed an offer on cold drink sale i.e. buy 2 and get 1 free.

          but at the counter the bill boy denied to sale the cold drink to me, I was with my friends and at that moment I felt quite insulting.

          this behaviour of your counter boys left me no ways but to move to consumer forum against big bazaar.

            Hometown started D&B work in my flat, in Hyderabad, last year July.
            I observed utter lack of planning, poor quality material (using worst and cheapest brand) to the extent of fraud committed by contractor and Hometown supervisor. Poor workmanship by contractors in electrical and carpentry has been disastrous. Carpenters were working without drawings, laminates badly applied. Asian Aspira Painting was agreed upon, but it was applied with 4 times diluted than Aspira Standard.

            As a customer, I had to visit my site everyday and manage the work, point out issues and give direction before they do irreversible damage.
            After completions of work in November, hinges got rusted.

            Multiple visits by store managers and D&B supervisors, Quality Assurance managers still have not resolved the issues.

            Need Immediate attention before the matter go out of our hands.

              Hi,

              I had purchased a Sofa Cum bed with storage from Hometown on 27th Feb 2016 which was delivered in March. Within a month i was shocked to find powder in the storage area and sent an email to the helpline on 30th March. They did send executives to take the image and register a complaint on 2nd April. However, i did not receive any call for a resolution nor any reply to the follow up on the email.

              This product is not termite treated before shipment and has been a serious quality issue from hometown. This could inturn damage other products at home which has been of great concern to me. Seek help in resolving this issue at the earliest.

                I had purchased modular kitchen from hometown dura cucine on 8th february 2016 and was promised finished/completed kitchen within 45 days as per their terms and condition. After 30 days materials were delivered but of incorrect dimensions. 2nd set of materials arrived after 10-15 days and were again incorrect. As of today 12th april 2016 my kitchen is still not completed. Also, 100% payment was done as per their (Future group retail) policy. No compensation or penalty was provided. I am unable to move to my new flat and have been paying rent elsewhere due to sheer negligence and inefficiency of hometown. Order no. [protected]

                  We shopped at BB sohna road, gurgaon during the sale period in Dec/Jan16. The offer was " 3000 pe 3000".. It was told by the the attendents that we will get free coupons for 3000 for shopping on 3000. However post the shopping of 7000, i got two booklet coupons for 3000 each but is was shocked to see the coupon construct..
                  Firstly there was no free shopping for this 7000 shopping.. ( all that was told to us before shopping was a lie).. The coupons were seggregated month wise, item wise( food vs non food), 300 only free for further shopping of rs 3000 etc.. All that is not even useful and was absolutely cheating on part of BB.. Post that i decided to nevwr visit BB although i am a regular customer... To what extnt you make fools of the customer should be learnt from you guys

                    Dear mr. Biyani,
                    I, purvi mistry, would like to bring to your notice a case of sheer negligence by big bazaar which culminated in an accident. On the evening of april 3, 2016, at around 9:50 pm, i visited big bazaar outlet, mahim, with my husband and two kids.
                    As i entered past the security check, an extremely heavy metal beam leaning against the wall, was irresponsibly moved and it fell directly on my head giving me a severe blow and which further fell onto my 2-year old daughter, krisha’s head and back. To my surprise, i was not offered any immediate help by the staff, till i yelled my voice out. My head started to bleed but was not even given ice in spite of repeatedly asking for it. The staff tried to hush me and put dettol, instead of providing medical support.
                    I asked for the store manager, but to no avail and was kept waiting for almost 10 minutes in this state. My husband immediately took me to hinduja hospital where my daughter and myself were given medical supervision and treatment. In addition, my daughter was too shocked by the incident. Further, i had to consult neurophysician, dr. Roop gursahani, who has advised me for blood tests and ct scan.
                    A simple routine visit to big bazaar/magnet hypermarket, mahim, has landed me and my family into a traumatic condition.
                    The store managers, mr. Bhaskar nair and mr. Ranson fernandes, visited my residence, victory house mahim (April 5, 2016) to take responsibility for the accident and apologise for their sheer negligence. I had put forward a simple request to the manager to produce the cctv camera footage (From around 9:45 to 10:30 pm) as i wish to get this accident investigated, to which i was being told that there is no footage of the entrance area.

                    Sir, i request you to kindly:
                    • provide the cctv footage of the accident (Details mentioned above)
                    • reimburse all medical bills related to this accident
                    • provide compensation for the unwarranted traumatic experience that i and my family had to suffer for during my son’s school vacation.

                      "this is to informing you that on 26.03.2016 i went to "home town", outer ring road, marthahally, bangalore and purchased one bed, one dresser unit, one study table for rs. 53384.72 and 2 matress for 18500/- and avail exchange offer against one old box type bed, one tea table and one cotton matress.

                      On 04.04.2016 home town collected the exchaged items and told purchaed items will delivery on 05.04.2016. After so many call and self visit to show room they supplied furniture items today 09.04.2016 in packed conditions and told fitting person will come for fix the furniture. 2 matress still not delivered. I contacted in the phone no of mr stalin [protected] and mr praveen [protected] given in the bill 92550627 dated 31.03.2016, but they are not responding nor they pick-up.

                      You are requested please see the matter and complete my order within 10.04.2016 otherwise i will be bound to take legal action and request help from consumer forum.

                        Please note that I made shopping at big bazaar and my pay back card is always presented to the cashier, however they are not doing there job when I saw my account statement.

                          I have purchesed ponds tan removal face wash on[protected] at big bazar outlet, sector 3, rohini delhi. I was over chareged for the cosmetic product ponds face wash (Print rate on article is rs 99 and billing rate is rs 110). He also used abusing language and misbehaved with me in big bazar primises (Sector 3) rohini.
                          He said that get out from here and do what you can.

                            today i visited to outlet at new rohatak road karol bagh.

                            i select one printer and i told that person that i want to redeem exchange

                            voucher but he refuse to redeem voucher saying that this voucher cant not

                            redeem on printer when i asked him there is no mention in term & condition

                            for printer then he handover me one pamphlet there is also not mention

                            about the printer Its was mentioned on (pamphlet is "Condition apply. not

                            valid on Mobile. Laptop, Tablets Cameras & accessories.) when i asked

                            department manager Deepmala about this she said we have mentioned

                            accessories & printer comes in accessories category.

                            Please find the attachment for both the TERMS & CONDITION APPLY

                            mention in your voucher & pamphlet which contradict each other.

                            As voucher say that voucher can be apply on mobile & other Pamphlet

                            say not valid on mobile.

                                I have purchased sofa on 26th of January 2016 and we were promised a deliver with in 15 days and it took more than one month to deliver and that too a used sofa which was not acceptable to us.I have sent the pictures of the sofa showing the details and then i was promised that you would relace it by 30th of march.Till today I am waiting and nothing has happened.Being an Architect by profession i have shown the deficiencies to your store people and I feel cheated now.I f you can not deliver a New product please refund my money.

                                    Hello this is a permanent customer for the ""Comfort Fabric Conditioner" from Udupi, karnataka, India. I always buy the bottle from Big Bazaar and other outlets in Udupi. But to my dismay, recently I came across issues where I found the bottles were found half filled and diluted. Please have a better packing so that these issues are not repetaed again. I am rally unhappy with this issue.

                                        I visited Big Bazaar Hiland Park, Kolkata this evening and faced a lot of chaos and mismanagement. The counter where I paid did not credit the free talk time to my T24 number (supposedly because of network failure) but mentioned that the payback points have been credited. He also didn't mention any issue with parking coupon. I stood at the T24 counter for at least 10 minutes with no one bothering to write down my number for the talk time credit, despite several requests. Everyone was busy attending to fresh T24 subscription requests. So I gave up after a while and left the store. After I had got into my car and reached the parking check point, I realized that the parking coupon was not provided. I had to walk back all the way when I was told at the counter to take the coupon from the customer service area. I was finally provided a handwritten coupon but had to pay additional parking fees of Rs. 20/- anyways, because the one hour limit was exceeded by couple of minutes. Besides it caused me unnecessary harassment.

                                        My suggestions :

                                        1.T24 talk time credit should be handled at the counter. If there is any issue preventing the credit, there should be a separate queue at the T24 counter for free talk time credit, because only the phone number and bill number needs to be written down and there's no financial transaction involved.
                                        2. In my experience so far with Big Bazaar, parking coupons are provided by default. If there is any exception, this should be informed at the counter. A customer in hurry would not have time to check if all the coupons are provided. As it is, Metro Cash and Carry provides much better service, extensive product range and free parking. I am quite determined to do away with Big Bazaar if such unprofessional attitude is continued.
