I had paid for a computer chair on 11/9/2016 which was to be delivered by hometown to my residence on 25/9/2016. Till date this chair has not been delivered. I have called up hometown number of times but they are not giving any reply on when the chair will be delivered. They are not even calling me back and giving any information.

This is pathetic customer service by hometown

We have booked our furniture 2 months back around 15 august and we're promised to deliver in a months time .

Till 8th October we even not getting any call regarding information on our furniture.

    Hi,
    It has been 45 days but yet my t24 sim is not yet activated. I had bought this sim from big bazar, xion mall, hinjewadi, pune. Despite submitting entire document while talking sim, sim not yet activated. The most irritating part is manager of this counter t24 is not addressing the issue always give false words.. I have been to the store 6 times but all waste. Now i don't have patience.

    Now i want my money back which i paid for the sim. Please take back this useless sim...

    But no one from Flipkart or Hometown called me regarding the installation.

    I had purchased this on March 9th.

      Along with my 2 children, daughter 12 yrs and son 9 years i visitedthe FBB outlet at dadar west star mall on Saturday evening. While my daughtet entered the tag detactor made a buzz but the lady in charge near the machine did not bother to check. After shopping when we were about to leave the machine buzzed as mydaughter tried to exit. She had nothing in her hand and i tried to empty the pocket of her jeans as I thought the machine was a metal detactor. The lady incharge adked het three to four times to stand un front of the machne and tried frisking her. Later she told me that she needs to take my minir daughter to the trail room for checking. She asked me not to acompany her. When I went behind her and wuestioned her how can she frisk a minor alone in absence of an adult and when the ladiesn the que started making noise i wss permitted to be in. Nothing was found. Later again at the gate she stopped my daughter and call a senior. The lady tried scarring us shoeing us a camera installed. The supetvisor came and she ecplained her that there may be an existing tag on her tshirt. And it was so. During the entire epusode we kept on telling thst the machine buzzed while we entered, why were we not questioned than. It wss an embarassment as well an harassment to my children specially to my daughter who is a minor. Also let me know who has given you the right to frisk ..and tgst too minors without and top of it you insist that patents shoukd not accompany the child. Let me know who has given you this right and under which law. Disgusted... revert with your reply on [protected]@grih.com

        We had purchased a sofa a few months back and there were a couple of complaints registered for the same. the store was the hometown showroom in punjagutta, hyderabad
        1) the threads on the sofa cover are coming out. we were told it will get replaced, but nothing has happened so far.
        2) there is a crack on the base, which also needs to be fixed, bit again no response

        We have been following up since june 2016 and now it is sep end and the service has been pathetic. once a guy visited in july after a month's followup and said it will be fixed within a week. still waiting for an update.

        Please respond within a day and get it fixed this week or i will keep escalating till this is resolved. hope you take this more seriously than the local store team.

            Issue facing -

            I place this order seeing the posted image and description off the product. By posted images we can clearly see that Its a three door Wardrobe.
            Even on the description seller clearly mentioned "External doors are lockable". Means they are trying to match description with advertised images.
            But yesterday(15/07/2016) I got the call from seller(Home Town) for delivery, at that time he mentioned that it is two door Wardrobe.
            So I suspected that the product which seller is going to deliver is different from placed order.
            So I contacted Amazon India customer service and they just dropped a mail to seller(Home Town). Then I asked the image of product which seller(Home Town) was about to deliver.
            Which were totally different from the ordered product. Today(16/07/2016) again I called amazon India customer care, and i was asked for images, which seller(Home Town) has sent me earlier.
            Then I was told that we initiated a A-to-z Guarantee claim and i was asked for refund. When I decline to take the refund then customer support promised me that ordered product will
            be delivered to me. But without my consent refund is initiated. When Home town found out that they are not successful in cheating me they just issued a refund.
            Today I saw the same advertisement on Flip kart, there Home Town is using the same false images and false description. Inquired with Flip kart and Flip kart shared the information that the wardrobe is 2 door. On one portal it could be human error, but on multiple portal you people are sharing wrong information. It looks like Hometown is cheating innocent customers like me.
            This is totally unethical.

              They asked me my spouse's detail and promised me send a gift voucher via email.
              Till date no such email has been received. I called Hometown to day and they just denied to talk.

                Big Bazaar at Sohna Rd next to Malibu Complex.
                At cash out counter while scanning an offer of two in one Yummys chicken nuggets and chicken popcorn priced at Rs.329.
                When it was scanned the price came up Rs.380.
                On investigation the staff took away the packet and brought it back with Rs.380 label.
                OUTRAGEOUS.
                DAYLIGHT ROBBERY.
                NO Manager came to the counter even after 30mins of waiting.

                On the next cash out a lady was complaining that the shirt priced at Rs.899 scanned for Rs.1090.
                She screamed and complained but no MANAGER showed up.

                Shame on the business practice and shamful customer service.
                I hope the authorities will take note of this cheating strategy.

                      On 09/9/16, visited GIP mall Noida. Two bills of Rs 2391 & 1355 were made. Presented profit club card to get points. Got only 24 points against Rs 2391/. Profit club confirmed that no credit given against 1355. Till no & Tr no against 2391 bill are 40 & 77213 and 36 & 35837 against bill of 1355/. The name of the sales girl is Arti
                      My concern is that the sales girl failed credit profit club points against spending of Rs 1355/ despite my reminding her. Such incidents have been in the past but I have ignored. I would like the management to take corrective action. I will refer the issue to consumer forum as well for such casual attitude.

                          We bought 2 shower cubicles & dining table from Hometown on Marathahalli ring road (Bengaluru) in Feb 2015. The chairs are already starting to shake/creak, and the piping on the shower cubicle has come off, and made the whole area under the cubicle dirty and yet inaccessible.

                          Also, the customer service numbers on the bill + on this web site for Bengaluru are not working (no one picks up the phone)

                            I went to big bazaar sector 38 a, plot number a2, gip mall to buy some clothes. i bought 6 items which had discount labelled on them. when i went to the billing section they billed me with full amount and no discount applied. when i asked them to apply the discounts they informed me that there is no discount on these items and these are fresh items. i even complained about putting the clothes in the discount section and decided to return three products.

                            Firstly, there was a huge shortage of support staff at the billing counter and instead of supporting they were being rude.

                            Secondly, they refused to refund my amount and told me to come later on to get a different product in place of the returned items.

                            Thirdly, they took back the products that i requested to return and they made some circles on the products that i returned and offered no return receipt and as they informed to bring the bill with me when i had to get the new products.

                            When i went back to the store to get the new products instead of the products that i returned. the support staff started yelling at me and asked to get the receipt or get out. i informed the staff that i was asked to bring the bill and the executive marked rounds in the bill along with the signature. after a long argument they called their manager who asked to return the product on which i informed that i had returned the product on the spot earlier the day i was billed and only then the executive signed my bill. the manager said i will get the cctv footage and took print out of the bill. still no action has been taken. please assist.

                              Big Bazaar located In Trivandrum, Kesavadhasapuram selling AL Kabeer brand premium mutton cubes which date of expiry is May-2016.
                              When I complaint to Shopkeeper, they are just ignoring it and keeping that Expired product in same location which will avail for selling to some other.
                              For food products, there should be more care. I hope they are not checking and verifying their products.

                              I have booked a dining table and stools 2 months back. Hometown delivered wrong stool. And regarding dining table told they don't have the product. After several follow up and harassment I got the money back for dining table but could not get the money back for stools. Still following up but they are not ready to do the needful and harassing us..

                                I have bought a Milestone Trolley bag from Big Bazaar at Burdwan(WB) on 14th Feb, 16. It has given me 3 yrs warranty on the bag but on the same day during carrying it to my home its handle side's fabric material just spoiled by its self weight(Material used like a paper). On the very next day I went for Delhi so I did'nt get time for replacing it.Now I am at Jamshedpur(Jharkhand) & I am not getting any service center.So my 2700 rupees just thrown into water by the Big Bazaar.

                                  I have purchased Mandrine Wall Unit Wenge Colour of Rs.31, 395/- at Home Town, 247 Park, Vikroli. I have already made full payment and as per advance receipt the delivery date is 01.09.2016. However, 31.08.2016 i have received sms stating delivery of product is rescheduled to 03.09.2016. Now today on 03.09.2016 i am getting call that delivery is rescheduled to 04.09.216. I am not happy that Home Town is not going as per their commitment. I need urgent delivery and assembly of purchased product. Why home town is delaying delivery as i have already made full payment and got assurance about delivery on 01.09.2016. Please call.                                     I Aditya Gupta bought diapers from big bazaar, Ambience Mall Rohini and almost after half and hour I returned it because I get a call from my home that they have bought diapers. So I went to return back they didn't refunded me and gave me credit note of rs680. This scenario happened on 25 August 2016. I kept that credit note in my wallet. But when I was travelling in a market somebody stolen my wallet from my pocket. This scenario happened on 31 August 2016. And I went to your outlet and the executive present at the customer service desk she knew that I bought diaper and returned it back.
                                    But she refused. And I'm having a police FIR of stolen wallet. Pls help me. And get my money refunded in form of credit note.

                                      I'm writing to you because of a rather ridiculous set of events perpetrated by the hometown staff at the vikhroli outlet.

                                      After one month of dealing with them i have reached a conclusion: they are incapable of making a phone call. This is ironic since they work in the aforementioned retail chain outlet.

                                      You see, i bought a four door wardrobe, a dressing table and a shoe rack in april 2016 from your store at vikhroli. The billing is on the name of my husband mr. Hitesh daiya.

                                      The guy came for polishing and has taken the liberty to remove the paper coating of the back panel and i doubted his rude behavior when he hurried to get our signature (I still have mentioned about his rude behavior in the visit report sheet) and run away. He infact has gone to the extent of abusing women (In general) saying that "aurat log toh bahut kich kich karte hai" when my husband interfered he rectified saying that it was general.

                                      Since the last twenty days after talking to your store supervisor about the issue i still await a reply. I reached to your store last sunday 21st august 2016 to meet vasim, he refuses to come out and meet us, even after your csd requested him to come and listen to our request. Mr vasim was busy trying to save his staff (May be relatives) and trying toput the blame on us saying that we have come to the store to fight.

                                      Anyway, i bore you. Let's get to the wonderful staff you have. I spoke with a number of them. Some of those stalwarts are tiwari (Fitting), mishra (Polishing), and their manager vasim. I spoke with at least three others. But you know, so many new friends in such a short time. It’s really hard to remember all their names. We even tried reaching mr sujeet mishra (Their gang head) and he as usual remains unavailable.

                                      Can you imagine having to live with false promises and commitments.

                                        Sir/Madam,
                                        This is to notify you that I'm repeatedly being played around and harassed. I gave away the Big Bazaar Profit Club Card, and was ensured by the officials, a refund of an amount 9000/- duly. This entire process was held back in the month of May. I was asked to submit a couple of documents, such as, a Cancle Check issued on my name, photo copy of Voter Identity Card. Now it has been around 3 months and counting, have received absolutely nothing!!! Repeated requests have been constantly ignored and given a deaf ear!!
                                        Still now the processing hasn't been completed... Now I'm at my wits end, and need to be given a final date of my refund... Otherwise would be forced to take the matter and lodge a complaint in Consumer Forum!!!

                                        Kindly do look into the matter!
