This is in regards to my transaction with Hometown Vikhroli, done on March 29, 2015. I have purchased 3 items – Mattress, Dining Table and a Bed with Purchase order No. [protected], [protected], [protected] respectively. I was been told that as per company policy the furniture will be delivered within 10 days of purchase which came to be April 08, 2015. I had multiple times confirmed at that point in time to ensure that all my furniture comes at same time and within the timelines specified. Also I had given my existing bed and mattress in exchange, which was supposed to get collected from my residence on April 06, 2015. Till date I have received only two items, that too only after rigorous follow up and still awaiting for my Bed. Where in the delivery being done at time such as 10:30-11:00 pm. Whereas I am just been given false hopes and reasons such as items out of stock, items getting damaged during transit, warehouse being closed due to some strike etc. etc. By their dispatch Manager Mr. Sanjay, and their executives. I don’t understand if the items were out of stock, then why was the order been taken. Also at the time of placing order I was been told there are 3 beds available in stock. Now here either the sales person was lying due to sales pressure or your customer care executives and dispatch manager. Sad to say, but this has been the worst experience with Home town and totally unexpected from a group like Future group. At the end now I have already requested for cancellation of order and providing me refund, as even today I am just getting false assurances from your dispatch manager, where first he says it will get dispatched on Friday then he says tomorrow, which again makes me think will I even get my furniture (this is the recent interaction with Mr. Sanjay today, April 14, 2014, at 14:27 hrs on +91 [protected]) Sorry to say, but this is the most pathetic service.

    I booked Ambra king size bed and I got a the furniture one day delay. I am surprised to see the damage piece and the carpenter who was sent my hometown also confirmed that damage piece has been sent to many people and returned to warehouse. I knew about the damage piece from mouthshut review as per below link. http://www.mouthshut.com/review/Home-Town-Bangalore-review-utmpnlnpos During my booking, store manager told the defect has been taken care in new products and that is reason the product is still displayed in our show room, I don't want to buy any item from home town, If I receive a damage piece for new booking what is guarantee that, the product sold by hometown will last in my home for a month. Also the review shows the pain dealing with HOMETOWN. I am wondering how come the damage product is being sold to customer again and again with no action taken by hometown.       Dear Sir, I am a customer of your Big Bazaar & i shop very frequently at your outlet.Today i have purchased one trouser and 2 jeans pants worth Rs 1901.50 . The bill no is 0003244 Tr : 70898.When i approached the cash counter to pay the bill using my debit card, the cashier Mr.Baddam Edukandalu has swiped the card twice and asked me to give the pin number twice.And i got the mobile alerts twice for one transaction, which is very ridiculous. When i questioned why it has been debited twice, he arrogantly replied by insulted me that my account is low on balance. If my account is low on balance how its debited twice????? When i approached Mr. Rafi he promised to see that my amount of Rs.1901.50 will be credited to my account. The tailors are also not available, even they are available they are not cooperative. This is the most bitter experience to shop in big bazaar. I will not step into your stores in whole life time. I hope you will take action against Mr.Baddam Edukandalu.       In reference to above complaint. My double time swiped amount (1901.50) is not credited to my account still. As per your employees version at Tarnaka Big Bazaar version they informed that it would be credited to my account in 7 days. Where is my amount??????

      If i don't get my money back to my account by today, i will file a fraud case aganist your company.

      Else deduct the money from your employees salary and refund me.

        Dear sir . i am a doctor in cardiology department in a reputed institute .. today i went a store o[censored] which is far from my house .. i go as i am customer of your chain since many years in various cities .. this store management is worst .. we get our car .. pay the parking fees .. your store keeper forcing me to buy the bags for my goods .. when we can get the good to our car directly why should u guys forcing us to pay more money .. i have your profit cards .. i want to return that .. as i dont want to continue with your company .. i drive 5 km to reach your store as other brand showroom is near by my home .. but it is very disappointing .. this is against customer law ..

          hav purchased egv on 7 th march via credit card payment has been done but hav not yet recieved the egv codes. several complaints hav been made at the call centre but no solution has been found out till date . pathetic service no proper response. no cal back all the time new complaint no is given but no solution is provided had to cal every alternate day each tym had to explain the complaint to a new person. order id or transaction id : 15225.

            I faced 2 problem yesterday dated 8-Apr-2015: 1. While placing order the incharge Mr. Sumit Kumar has not accepted the Coupon of Rs. 200/- as I have given the same after profit club card. 2. The offer running was 15% discount on MRP of any Conditioners we buy. I have taken Loreal conditioner having MRP 150/- but on bill their was no discount offered. I need proper resolution to both the issues.

              Order no. [protected]. Order booked date: 27.03.2015 Delivery dates 04.04.2015 Time: 13.40 After visiting twice to Home Town @ Vikhroli, my brother and I had received a wrong product (received a 4 seater dinning table with 4 chairs instead of 6 seater dinning table with 4 chairs). To rectify the previously wrong billed order no. [protected] dated 15.03.2015 (floor supervisor’s miscommunication), we went to Vikhroli shop for the 3rd time on March 27th 2015. Mr. Mukhtar attended us and gave two options to choose from: either to take refund of the entire amount or choose any other product by paying the differential amount. He also connected me to an HR staff over the phone and after requesting and urging him to seek an amicable solution, we paid an additional amount of 2500 so that the matter get resolved and we get our desired but revised product i.e. 6 seater with 6 chairs. After necessary checks and balances, Mr Mukhtar informed us at the very moment that the delivery shall be done by April 1 and amidst the conversation realized that there are a few public holidays and hence the mutually agreed delivery date as per the billed as well as per the received SMS was April 4 @ 1.40 p.m. Following are the extremely disappointing and supremely unprofessional sequence of acts done by Home Town back end team, customer care executives, Furniture section individuals and product delivery team: 1. March 3rd As per company’s practice, customer should receive a call or sms a day before the scheduled delivery date (April 4th in our case) – However, no intimation was given on April 3rd. 2. March 4th NO PRODUCT DELIVERY! No courtesy call or sms for apology due to delay! As a worried customer for its product, we called the Customer Care to check the product’s whereabouts. As a matter of practice after keeping us on hold for looooooong, the customer care executive noted our request and assured us a call back in an hour’s time. STRANGE BUT TRUE – No call back at all!!! 3. March 5th Poor we again called customer care reminding them about the attended request. The history repeats once again as the executive who attended our call kept us on a looooooong hold and later extended an apology (fake one!) with an assurance of getting a call back within an hour’s time. ONCE AGAIN STRANGE BUT TRUE – NO CALL BACK AT ALL! 3 hours later: we again called the customer care and this time we have to scream our lungs out! Adding to our misery, we are being informed that the product shall be delivery on 11th of April (a royal delay by a week’s time). At the very moment, we request to cancel the order and give us the cash back. Surprisingly within no time, we got a call on our alternate provided contact number that the delivery is scheduled for April 6th (the very next day!) However, experience all the above inconvenience and unreliable actions, we had no faith left in the company and hence we DECLINED the offer and once again requested them to cancel the order. We also tried calling Mukhtar (received his contact details from Mr. Baba). Mukhtar didn’t answer the phone and sent an auto text message of being busy. We counter replied this sms to call back and provided basic reference for him to recall us. NO CALL BACK from him (seems everyone in the company are trained for not revert calls / requests). 4. April 6th Customer is not the king as we again have to send a reminder SMS to Mr. Mukhtar but without success! Few hours later, we called him up early in the evening and narrated the entire story. After listening to our case, all he could do was a promise that his head (in reporting line) Mr. Sujit Sharma would revert to us in 20 minutes. I am finding it shameful to reiterate but have to say – NO CALL BACK from Mr. SUJIT! 5. April 6th – late in the evening (post 8 pm) Mr. Pawan (Furniture Head – I guess so!), called us. Sequence by sequence we once again narrated the entire story and poor him has to bear hearing us. My brother and I spoke to him cumulatively for about 40+ minutes. He requested us to accept the product delivery and offered us discount on our next purchase. We declined the offer saying we aren’t interested in buying anything anymore from Home Town. We requested to refund us our money and he declined saying they can’t do so (note this sentence of Mr Pawan contradicts to what Mr. Mukhtar told us on March 27 – stated in bold in the first para). On this I asked him to give us monetary compensation for all the inconvenience caused to us since past 15 days (technically from our first order which was billed on March 15). He declined our offer. We concluded the discussion by informing him that we shall escalate the matter and file as case against the company for all the unfaithful acts, miseries and inconvenience the company has exhibited towards us. Way Ahead: This is purely a business transaction between a company and its customer (no homely or personal affair). Considering the above mentioned incidence, we need the product along with an apology note and a monetary compensation as we decide. Furthermore, we shall await to hear from the customer complaint department within the next 24 hours. Failure to receive any communication shall force us to file a suit against the company in the consumer court of law and publish this on social and networking media too.

              Based on a call received from Amir on April 9 evening 8pm, I was informed that our product delivery has been cancelled and we shall get the amount refunded. However, upon asking refund amount details and compensation to him, Amir stated that Mr pawan will call me in a while. Unfortunately, more than 24 hours have passed by and I am still awaiting a call back from Mr. Pawan.

              Priya, I received a call from Mr pawan today at 3.53. Based on our telephonic discussion, Mr Pawan shall get back to me by Monday the 13th of April on the following:
              1. refund amount to be the billed amount plus the amount redeemed through coupons we had exchanged (earned through giving away old furniture to Future group)
              2. Interest @ 18% from the credit amount enjoyed by the company for the past days until the date when the money would be refunded.
              3. A monetary compensation amount basis the inconvenience caused to me and my entire family since past many weeks and continues tl date.

              Considering today is Saturday, Mr Pawan stated that he would be able to get in touch with the HODs on Monday and hence he shall get back to me by evening 5pm on Monday the 13th of April.

              Looking forward to a favorable response and a quick resolution on the said matter.

              Priya, this is with utmost dissatisfaction and agitation I'm writing to you to educate you on the super slow, aimless and never ending merry go round process of future group in addressing my complaint. It has been 9 days since I wrote to you on April 9 morning. I need a fixed date by when the matter will be resolved. I'm not at all interested in investing my time and energy behind morons. Rather I knock on the doors of the court of law and seek justice.

              it is very disappointing to see that too many individuals are getting involved while talking to me and I have to repeatedly set the context of the entire discussion. Today evening somebody named Sujeet called me up and again asked me irrelevant questions and details. However, the moment i screamed my lungs out on him, he came on track but still he wasn't updated with the last discussion I had with Pawa and he landed up offering some petty offer of 1000 Rs discount voucher which is a sheer crap and an insult to me.

              I am trying to get in touch with Pawan since past 3 days but no success.I shall await either a call from Pawan and/or from your Mumbai City Manager (the one whom Pawan was suppose to refer and come back to me) till Monday evening. Failure to hear from any of these by Monday evening shall force to me file a suit again your company in the court of law on Tuesday the 21st April 2015

              Please consider this as my last and final reminder email cum warning.

                today i went to big bazaar rudrapur with my friend. and we just tried 2 or 3 kurtis /dresses for 2 times, so in second time when we went there she said very rudely that "aapko kch lena toh h ni ye koi free ka ni h bus are ho pehen k dekh re, ..dat lady crossed all limits and den cald some staff, staff ne hmse kch ni kaha ". I want to say that we too are from reputed family and noone has right to comment.we are not going for shopping at big bazzar. moreover, aftr changing i gave kurtis to her she said "ye kya h? jahan se uthaya h wahan rkho. mera kaam ni h" big bazaar rudrapur me first time open hua h bt that doesnt means yahan k logo ko kch pta ni. isse achi service toh V-mart and vishal walon ki h. I want a strict action against that lady should be taken. timings were around 4:30 to 6:00 around. so investigate and fired that rude lady

                  I had purchased a office chair and a bed from the thane Ghorbunder store (in r mall) a week ago and still struggling to get my furniture delivered. First they had some person (which they haven't identified yet) visit and just take pictures of my old bed instead of picking it up. Then when it does get picked up (post having to meet the store manager vinod), they were once again confused whether the bed was picked up or not. As for delivery, even though they received the bed a week before, the same wasn't sent. Now the chair has arrived and which they are delivering but not with the bed. Repeated attempts to reach out to the store manager Vinod has prooven futile as he is has not been able to get the delivery team to send the bed with the chair. As I typed this complaint, the delivery person calls to tell me only has the chair and coming to deliver it. Strangely, even after taking 10mins at the time of purchase to give my address on multiple forms, the delivery person is unaware of my address. Would someone tell me why is the service of your store so pathetic and do you seriously expect me or other customers to ever purchase anything from you guys again ?!?!

                    Big bazar is doing fraud in billing I have purchased the Maggie ketchup on that product they have offered free Veg Aata nudal worth Rs 25, but when I have checked bill they have charged for that free product also. I have realised that I notified to there customer care and registered complaint but no response. It is not fist time they are cheating in bills but I have found in each and every bill they do such types of fraud .

                      When we go to the store Kandivali(E)-Mumbai for purchasing Gift Voucher they are not giving the Bill saying Printer is not working After 4 days again we go to take voucher the same reason for not giving the bill. Can such a big company be like this.

                        They advertise that they are offering great exchange value for old items. They give the exchange coupons for the old items. You can get up to 25% discount from the billed value. If you sell those old items at road side walas they may give you (say) Rs.100. In big bazaar they will offer you Rs. 2000 as exchange coupons. To redeem it, you have to purchase at least Rs.8000. The prices are too high when compared with other stores. When you compare the bill, it will be costlier than any other store even after the discount of 25% (what they are claiming). In quality also they are cheating. I bought 3 Bed spreads (Bombay dying) each costing Rs.450. The size mentioned in the cover was 150cm width. After coming home I was shocked to see that actual measurement was 135cm only. They cheat us in all the possible ways. Please for heaven sake, don't step into these stores.
                        I made an online order from big bazaar on 20aug, 21. Made the payment of rs 1682.98 through egv mode, though the value of my gift card was rs 3500. They delivered the products of Rs 1323 and refunded rs 359 from the original payment of Rs1682. But the remaining amount of my gift card which is Rs1800(approx) is not being added to my wallet. When I complained they are saying you have to use the complete amount in a single shopping. Though there was no terms and conditions mentioned regarding egv nor I got the message to use the rest of my gift voucher amount.
                        They are even refusing to give the bill where complete amount is mentioned ( used/expired)
                        Wrote several mails, but no response

                          I visited Big Bazar Kothrud Pune on 04 Apr[protected]PM. I noticed that there were no trolleys or baskets at entrance. When asked at customer care desk I was arrogantly told by manager Mr Anil Herwade (Employee Code 55955) to collect the trolley or basket myself from the exit gate. This arrogant and irresponsible behavior is not expected from Big Bazar's Manager Level Employee. He further added that you complaint about it where ever you want. He gave his employee code also out of this arrogance. Big Bazar authorities are requested to take appropriate action and intimate accordingly.

                            I purchased a COLORADO FABRIC LOUNGER LHS and CT TUSKER centre table from HomeTown vide SO No.[protected] on 21/03/15 from is Vikhroli outlet under exchange offer, full payment of Rs.60700/-was made. Was promised delivery of goods on 01/04/2015, but after much follow up and persuasion with their customer care received the sofa on 04/04/2015 still the centre table has not been delivered neither the old sofa has been picked up for which we paid additional Rs.1000/-.The sofa which we received was also in a damaged condition as one of the panel of the legs was broken due to which the sofa could not be fixed. Since we bought the sofa paying the amount in full these ppl are just not interested in solving the problem. Everytime we get the call from their executive they say we have forwarded your complain. Since I have purchased a new sofa why should I settle for a compromise of getting the panel repaired, I want a replacement. Request you to please look into my complain and get things sorted asap. The entire experience is just so traumatic and horrible. This is my first and last experience with HOMETOWN.

                                I am a holder of profit club membership card, also i have got xchange coupon of Rs.1000/-. At Big Bazar, Aura Mall, Gulmohar, Bhopal, (M.P.), From the last two days, there is no good quality rice available nor wheat of good quality. Toor dal is also not available (Neither loose nor packet of 5 kg, only avalilabe is 500gm packet and that too of Rs.80/-), Please tell me what is the use of holding profit club membership card, and those xchange coupons.

                                  I went to Big Bazaar Satara Road, PUNE. I sold 25 kg old cloths and got exchange coupons of rs 7500/- and wanted to redeem some of them on same day. but the experience was not good. I bought 6 Colgate toothpaste and as per ur rules and regulations with exchange price, the amount should be 522/-. they charged me in the bill rs 627/-. i showed them and claim for the refund. They refund me only rs 32/- when i asked them they shouted at me and misbehaved. if the Big Bazzar dont know how to deal with the customers and is cheating them, then why should not punish them ?

                                    Bill No 1 I had purchase clothing i.e jeans & other house hold items from big bazzar, Zirakpur.The MRP of jeans is Rs1499/-. As per company policy regarding discounted coupens on clothing is 25%, i.e 25% of 1499/- that cost of jeans comes to be Rs1124.25/ after disc, but they had charged more as of Rs 1149.93/- Encl Bill attached Bill No 2 Similarly on 2nd bill, item no 2, MRP is 610/- as per disc of 12.5% it comes to be 533.75/-, charged Rs 542.32/-, similarly on all items in the bill.
