I had bought furniture worth Rs.2.4L from Hometown Vikhroli on 5th Apr. The old furniture was to be picked up on 15th or 16th Apr and the new one was to be delivered on 17th. No one came for picking up the old furniture in spite of multiple reminders. Only one recliner was delivered on 17th Apr which was faulty as the recliner button did not work. When tried to lodge a complaint the call center agent refused to take the complaint and informed us that the mechanic should visit and inspect. After lot of follow up a mechanic came over on 18th evening just to confirm that the chair was faulty! The chair is still not replaced! I had to visit personally to ensure that old furniture is picked up and the new one is deliver promptly. Finally after multiple calls, visits, the new one was delivered on 22nd with old still lying in the house.This again without any replacement for faulty chair! The packages are lying all over at my home as no one has visited to assemble them till today! Phone calls as usual are of no use as people behave as if they are hearing this complaint for the first time! I am tired of this and want Hometown to refund all my money and pick-up the furniture! It has caused lot of hardship to all o[censored]s and huge mental stress! If the things are not sorted out today, pl. arrange to take back the furniture. I will also be approaching the consumer court now for all this hardship, bad treatment, not following the promises in spite of taking entire payment in advance and mental stress you all have caused to all o[censored]s!

I bought a lounger sofa set with a recliner and a dining table with 6 chairs from Hometown Vikroli on 5th of April. I was promised that the old furniture will be picked up on 15th or 16th and the new one will be delivered on 17th Apr.

On 16th no one came up to collect the old furniture. I tried to talk to their helpdesk and called them at least 4 times with no help. Every time you have to repeat the story with all the details and agents promise to revert back within an hour. Till today no one contacted me!

On 17th they delivered just one recliner which also was faulty! Helpdesk refused to take the complaint saying that the mechanic will visit and check. After lot of follow up mechanic came next day just to confirm that the chair is not reclining and is faulty! We then (jointly) registered the complaint and requested to replace the chair!

The balance furniture is delivered on 22nd after numerous follow ups and personal visits to the showroom! No one is still aware if the faulty chair will be replaced and if so when! Also no one came to assemble the furniture and all packages are lying everywhere in the house!

It is absolutely painful to deal with Hometown Vikhroli. Helpdesk is on no help, there is no communication from their side, huge follow up required from your side in spite of you paying in full, no one cares once you have paid the amount and above all you are not sure if the right and proper furniture will be delivered without any fault! Their delivery date is of no consequence as no one follows the schedule! No one will visit to assemble the furniture and you have to follow up at least 10 times!

Pl. be careful and think twice before booking any furniture from Hometown Vikhroli. The service is extremely bad, no one will care for you nor is anyone aware of the status, promises are never kept, faulty furniture delivered but no confirmation on replacement! It is very painful experience.

    Hi All, Very much upset to write this complaint as fed up following up with the Big Bazzar since last 1 month . I Purchased a product (Aqua Sure - Xtra Stuff) from Big Bazzar, Salapuria Towers #22, KOramangal, Bangalore on 17th Mar 15. The product was not working since the first day. I litterally begged for a resolution but got no revert from anyone. It is when "Big Bazzar" gives replacement guarantee within 15 days of purchase. Please be informed, that if you purchase any electronics from Big Bazzar, you are going to make your life hell like mine.

        Hello, I am Lakshmi Narayanan from Visakhapatnam. I went to Big Bazar beside Sangam Sarat theater to Purchase a Jockey Trunk pack of 2 for an amount of Rs.330/- per piece. I selected 2 numbers, that means the total bill amount will be Rs.660/- (Rs.330x2). Now the issue starts that your staff said that the bill is Rs.700/-. I noticed that and i informed to that person and he is not at all interested in watching the price of the product.I said to him and he said that it will not come for Rs.660/- and please go without purchase of the product.If i said that give the product without any amount or for free, how you people feel. Like that only i feel today. He said to the other person (i think he has some more powers than him) that one customer in the morning didn't noticed at all and he paid Rs.700/-. This means you have cheated that customer. If i also didn't noticed menas i will also be a victim of you.What kind of people you are. This is highly irresponsible from your side. I don't think that you will do like this.This looks like very cheap than begging. I am writing to you with utmost angry and dissapointed.Take my note that i will not go anymore to Big Bazar all over the world because this issue affects my mind and heart very deeply.             The staff of Big Bazaar of Esplanade Kolkata especially the Consumer Help Department are very rude and do not help the customers. I brought a jeans worth rupees 1500 from big bazaar on 18/4/2015 and when I went home and tried it I found it was a bit damaged, then I went to big bazaar esplanade Kolkata again on 20/4/2015. But instead of exchanging my jeans they were shouting at me and were making allegations that i had already used that jeans and the basis of their allegations was that the some sort of smell which only those three staff could recognise was not the one which comes from a new jeans. Is this the way you treat your customer? I had been a regular customer of Big Bazaar all around the country but no where else I have received such bad treatment. Your brand value is being ruined by this kind of staff. As far as I am concerned I am thinking of complaining to consumer forum about this kind of stuff but since i have been a loyal customer of Big Bazaar so I thought I would bring this to your attention. I hope you will take necessary action.
            On 2nd November 2018 I visited Bigbazaar diamond plaza jessore road kolkata. I was carrying 4 heavy bags filled with shopping and went to the baggage counter of Bb to keep them. The staff standing at the counter named Bijoy Das said he will not keep the bags in the counter add it was 8.30pmand by 9.30the counter will close down. I said my shopping will be over within half an hour and the Bags are too heavy to carry around while shopping. I told him I had pain in my hand. (I have neuro problems) He very rudely said no I will not. A fellow customer standing by me told me she too was harassed by the same staff for same reasons. The staff then shouted and behaved abominably after which a heated altercation followed. My entire shipping intention turned into a nightmare. I was harassed and insulted by this Bijoy Das. I kept the bags and went inside complained at the help desk but they seemed passive. This misbehavior of staff of big bazaar is a regular issue and I always rethink before entering bigbazaar unlike my comfortable doing at Max or Reliance which are very customer friendly... I would request you to kindly look into the market coz today I felt insulted anger harassed...or I'll have to go to consumer forum and social media

            Hello all, my mom had visted big bazar on 7 th october 2020, my mom is been a loyal customer at big bazar since 7 yrs . Wt happnd today was she was been insulted at the store due to an bug in the detection machiene at the exit . Evn though they found nothin being stolen or anything they insulted her and checked her completly .. this incident happend at the big bazar which is located in hassan . The manager is an filth person and very bad at his job . He keeps on doing the same thing to a lot of people at big bazar . I want you to help me with this and punish the manager in charge

              Respected Sir/Madam, We have made payment of 10, 000/- on 03/04/2015 by SBI Credit Card in Trinity Mall, Jaipur, but still our Profit Club Card is not activated neither money is refunded back. I have written so may time complaint in Complaint Book, but reply is written by Store Manager that Customer is satisfy. I have also mailed on sharewithus mail id. Still not getting solution...

                I had purchased two electronic products from HomeTown on 03/07/2010. In that for Whirlpool refrigerator i didn't get bill since i bought it through EMI and i had cleared loan also.                     Sir/Mam This is Regarding xchange offer by Big Bazar. I am a regular customer of Big Bazar. But the thing is usually B.B. Gives so many offers and one of which is Xchange offer. This is a big corruption instead of offer. How ... for collecting the old things there is time for one or one and a half month time but for purchase things it has to extend time limit up to 3 or 6 months.Because in the prescribed period we may not able to shopping on so many reasons. Secondly what is use of offering such a Rate for old things with condition of Rs.50/- will be deducted on purchase of 400/- . It is of no use. If we sell it to the buyers on Road & if they give half of that amount we will make use of the money for any purpose. Here in B.B. what is the use? I have 2 to 3 thousand rupees coupens I sold all old things of my house to Big Bazar to make them still big. I never expected this from big bazar to corrupt their own customer by putting such a condition. Still I have Rs.3000/- Coupon what I have to do? Suggession : 1) Allow your customers to shop anything without any condition (i.e we will shop for Rs.3000/- no money will be paid only xchange coupens will be given) 2) Otherwise Extend the time limit - we will purchase through out the year whenever we shop for Rs.400/- the coupons should be accepted Regards Rathna A Regular Customer of Big Bazar

                      We had selected Hometown for our modular kitchen and bedroom Wardrobe considering that the services would be professionally well handled. Firstly I had to constantly follow up with your manager to get the delivery on time. While the modular kitchen was fine, your carpenters damaged my bedroom wall while installing the wardrobe. Moreover, they did not get the house cleaned after finishing their work and left the waste in the house itself. They also left the tap on which we could check only on the weekend which was after 4 days. I am unable to get in touch with Mr. Binoy who was the allotted manager to look into our house work. I am appalled at the way our house work has been handled. The entire look of the bedroom has spoilt because of the damaged wall. I want to know how will Hometown compensate me for the loss or repair the damaged wall.

                        Sir/ma’am This is to kindly inform you that the schemes let out by the big bazaar recently is actually not reaching to the real customers of your company.The benefit of more than 90% of the best schemes introduced by you are actually gained by the employees working in your outlets.for example:lucky draw and buy one and get one free schemes get exhausted within one hour of the opening as it is taken away by the employees for their own profit by resale in market.I am an eye witness who has seen this happening in inder lok outlet of big bazaar. This is a serious issue which is actually draining your company’s value and consumers trust in your schemes.I thereby request you to take serious steps regarding the implementation of the schemes which are meant for the consumers and not for the employees.If you wont take any step regarding this then I will be obliged to seek help from consumer court for the malpractices exercised by your employees and your negligence regarding It

                          Dear Sir, I am big Purchaser from Big Bazar, i always purchase product from big bazar of about 30 thousand in year but in my last visit in lucknow big bazaar near Taj Hotel one of your employee had communicated me wrong scheme in which he told me to purchase a card of rs 10000 and offers rs 12000 purchase in a year (deducting rs 1000 per month ) and he told me for discount of 7.5% on every purchase after paying 10000 i received the card and when i purchase the goods of around rs 6000 and used the card he less only rs1000 from total purchase when i asked him for 7.5% discount he denyied the such type of scheme and when i ask with scheme communicator guy he refused to give 7.5% every time and agree to give 7.5% on that day purchase with the help of his card only i discussed with some senior personal they also denied and after me to give 7.5% in my upcomming 2 -3 purchases i resfuesd the offer not take any discount on same day purchase and not for future days i want help from all the senior guys from Big Bazaar to get resove the issue i am totally disappointed with this wrong communication employee name of scheme communicator : Narendra Singh and ID 278133 i hope your better co-opration Thanks Yours, Bibhawendra Kumar Singh [protected] Lucknow

                            I have purchased Gary Nesting table one set of two from your Vikhroli west showroom on 11.4.15. The big table out of two has four legs. On fifth day itself one leg has loosened and it is about to get detached from table top. What sub standard product you are selling that in five days it is not in one piece. On the top of it your cistomer care executive tells me some one will come and repais the same. How a five day old furniture needs a repair? NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I have also purchased a shoe rack on same day awaiting delivery on 3.5.15. Hope that product is proper.

                            Shah [protected]. By the way a person came from your company and repaired the table by fixing GLUE to the leg. PATHETIC. Within just four days of purchase the product requires repairing. It is not acceptable to us. A Brand new Branded product requires repair on 5th day of pourchase.

                              We purchased a table a month back. We have been following up with Home Town but NO one has come to install the table. We have gone twice to the store and called numerous times. But all everyone does is pass the buck... Very poor quality psot sales service.

                              Since I had raised this issue in multiple forums, I am not sure which medium got me the result... All I can say is Kudos to the power of internet... Table finally installed

                                I purchased a Venus 6 seater dining table from Hometown worth Rs73k. I got it under exchange offer with 6 seater dining table & received 18k voucher. Total payment due was abt 53k of which 7k was paid as downpayment. We were given dates for pickup/delivery and assured the vest of services. However, no such thing happened. We needed to constantly followup with customer care to track, personally visit the hometown shop & finally delivery was made on 13th & pickup happened the same day after delivery. This was a big mental disturbance for us as we have bought something so costly, but the quality of service received was so careless. Anywhich ways, the next day when the person came for assembly, we realised that the table was defective and so were the chairs. We were again given assurance that product will be delivered on time & full replacement done. Again people came for pickup and delivery on 15th. And today when person came for assembly, we see that the chairs are damaged & correct fittings are not in place for dining table. This is unacceptable. 1. 1stly there is no quality check done. 2. Items are not delivered in their boxes but come open just wrapped in bubble wrap and that too not entirely covered. 3. Any defect which i mention, the hometown representatives discard as it is wood defect even without checking what it is & later agree that its an issue. You need to understand customer is not a fool that cannot differenciate between genuine wood markings and defect. 4. The chairs i received the 1st time appeared used - in the sense the legs of the chairs had drag marks on them. - we were informed that product comes from pune and hence it will take 15 days, then how come after complaining about 1st delivery we received product within 2 days. I just have lost complete faith and am fed up of these constant bitter batter. You need to understand that we are working professionals as well and we cannot just leave office and stay at home so you can get the delivery. You cannot stick to your plans of delivery, is not my problem. I was given a date and i managed everything according to that, but I cannot do that everyday. I am getting mentally disturbed with all this thats happening. Visited the hometown store as well today, had to bunk office again. And they asked to write into future group as they cannot do anything. This is pathetic. While making a sale, they are all so eager and once purchase is done, they don't care. I just want to get out of this trauma. I want to return the dining table. I am no longer intrested in this product and the constant lies being told by the hometown staff. I need my money back of 7k which was done as downpayment as well as approval for non-deduction of EMI from bajaj finance. Also, my earlier dining table which was picked up - i dont know whats happening with that. I have made a terrible terrible mistake of buying again from Home town, please sort this mess out. I just want to get out of this misery. There is such careless attitude, i want my money back and the dining table to be picked back up. I cannot go on with this headache and cannot bunk everything at a single call.                                     i got a profit club card on 14 April 2015. I was shocked to see that the card stands in someone else's name irrespective of my application form and pan card being submitted as a proof . The employee promised to update the status in a day but when I didn't receive a call from them then I called again and I was told that it cannot be updated and I have to use it with the name of the person I don't even know. I am really irritates and worried as I have paid 10, 000 rupees for the card which is not a small amount.

                                      I have been a regular customer of big bazaar for last ten years since its start up in trivandrum kerala. Being a regular visitor at big bazaar pattom I have seen the staff being arrogant and misbehaving to customers. I have seen most billing counters closed despite heavy rush and the express counters not working appropriately. On April 14th which was a public holiday I went to big bazaar pattom by 5pm. Having only three items to bill I approached express counter to get my items billed. The staff at the counter was so arrogant as said the express counters aren't meant for that. People with more than twenty items were waiting at the express counter. I was asked to go to the end of the queue and was insulted by the staff. I had the leave the queue and join another. Despite heavy rush only half the counters were working. Some counters were not closed but there was no staff to attend. I was told by the staff that express counters work only on Saturdays and Sundays and the particular branch of big bazaar follow this practice since its inception. I was startled to see the extent of arrogance of the staff as if the customer seems to be beggars to them. This is horrifying.

Following items were purchased :- VIP MENS BRIEFS, L 02 240.00 VIP-VIP MENS BRIEF, L 02 250.00 BB-BB Night Wear Btm 01 329.00 Shopping Carry Bag 01 4.00 Total 06 823.00 After payment the Big Bazaar staff packed the items in Shopping Carry Bag, on checking at home I found one piece of VIP-VIP MENS BRIEF, L is missing.
