SIR, i went to Big Bazaar satara road pune. I sold 25kg old cloths and got Exchange coupons of Rs 7500/-, some of them were remitted on that day but the prices on the discounted goods were charged over valued. I bought 6 colgate toothpastes the discounted price should as per their rules and regulations 522/- and they charged 626/- and returned only rs32/- when i asked they started shouting and misbehaving with me. If they don't have manners to talk with customers and they are cheating customers why should not punish them???

    complaint no.7050663 wazirpur, netaji subhash place. our bill had an addition of an extra milton kool stallion 10 lts which was not purchased by us, due to hurry the ady at the billing charges us of two of these only one was to be purchased the other she forgot to cancel. the transaction no is tr:59787 we lodged a complaint yesterday on the day of purchase it self. we were told we would receive a all from the customer care in 24 hours but we havent received any such call yet. take necessary steps for rectification of your mistake as soon as possible.

      Hi,

      I'm Kaushik Kumar Bar (mob: [protected], email: [protected]@gmail.com).
      I recently (17th March, 2015) bought a Springfit king-size mattress (78*72*6) from Hometown, Marathahalli, Bangalore. The INVOICE No. is 91435812. Snapshots of the receipt are attached.

      The mattress was delivered on 23rd March, and was lying in my room, unused and unopened. On 28th March, I turned the mattress upside down, and to my shock, I discovered that the mattress was delivered damaged. The plastic cover has not yet been opened. The snaps of the mattress where it is damaged is attached.

      I tried to call HomeTown at the phone number printed on the receipt the same day - but it said "number out of service". I physically went to HomeTown, but by then it was already closed - but I managed to talk to a customer service representative. He gave me the phone number of Mr Ismail ([protected]) and couple of customer service numbers of HomeTown ([protected]/22/23). The next day, I kept trying these numbers throughout the day, starting from 11:30 AM - but of no avail. Mr Ismail's number is "not reachable" and the HomeTown customer service numbers keep ringing although no one picks up the call.

      Frustrated, I went to HomeTown once again. After talking to many customer service reps, Ms Shanta Kumari ([protected]@futureretail.in) came and met me. She assured me that she has raised a complaint and the complaint number details will be sent to my mobile, which did not happen. She asked me to send in the details along with snapshots of the damaged mattress - which I did on the same day (29th March 2015). She also gave me a number ([protected]), which when I called, was picked up by a male who said he is not attached to HomeTown in any way! I requested her to provide me the complaint number through email, which she never replied - nor did I get any confirmation that any complaint has been registered.

      On 31st March, 2015, after many calls to HomeTown, my wife got an email id ([protected]@springfitmattress.com) from a HomeTown customer service person who asked me to write an email to this mail id. I wonder why it was not told earlier. However, I sent email to this email id (and also to [protected]@springfitmattress.com). However, as on 02nd April, 2015, there is no communication/confirmation/response even after multiple follow-up emails. I don't event have an acknowledgement of complaint or Complaint No given by any of the customer care reps I've interacted regarding this matter.

      During the same time, I was asked by HomeTown to contact Springfit to register the complaint and they gave me this number: [protected]. However, when called, it says "swicthed off or out of service".

      On 01st April, 2015, I resent the snap of the damage to Ms Shanta Kumari throuugh whatsapp ([protected]). She responded that she has received the snap. However, even after more than 24 hrs since then, she has registered a complaint with the company (Springfit).

      I want either my mattress replaced or a full refund of the money. I'm tired of following up and chasing both HomeTown and Springfit - and no one seems to be interested to do the needful.

      Please help resolve the issue.

      On 03rd April, 2015, Mr Venky ([protected]@springfitmattress.com) from Springfit asked me to resend the snaps of the damaged product.
      I resent, although I had already sent those snaps to [protected]@springfitmattress.com and [protected]@springfitmattress.com back on 31st March, 2015 already.
      Mr Venky promised me that he will respond back within a day. Now more than 24 hours are over - but no response yet!

      I had thought of buying a bed for my home from HomeTown and another mattress for it - but given what I see, I've put those plans in the back-burner. I suggest that whoever is reading this, double-think before buying anything of significant value from HomeTown.

      Updates till now:

      Even after multiple escalations, there is no solution till yesterday - my emails were responded saying "discussion with HomeTown is going on".

      Today, after my follow up, the solution proposed was that they will "replace the fabric".

      I'm astounded with the level of audacity of both Springfit and HomeTown! They have delivered a damaged mattress, and now they want to replace only the fabric and get their hands off! Although the snaps of the damaged mattress clearly shows that it is not only the fabric that is damaged but the internal material/foam also is damaged in those places.

      I would like remind HomeTown that I've paid you the full price for a new mattress - I want a new mattress in entirely good condition. I'm not going to accept any makeshift solution, because I didn't pay for an old mattress whose fabric is replaced.

      I've informed the same to HomeTown and Springfit. And as always, I'm waiting for their response!

      absolutely right. now i remember, 6 months back 1 very good friend of mine from kolkata who also faced similar issues with a sofa he bought from hometown kolkata, which had broken frame from the day it got delivered. but even after 6 monghts of follow up, home town has still not replaced it.

      looks like customer care is a problem in all home town centres across all cities. i was planning to buy a bed from home town, and landed up here through google.

      i think all people who got befooled by home town should take legal action against them.

      this post reminded me how poor the customer service in home town is. i'll probably get the bed custom made by carpenter than buy it from home town.

      Big Bazaar — Dreamline Twister Mop

      Bought above product from Big Bazar, Parel yesterday. The mop handle does not stand straight, hence mop head does not fit in the spinner.
      Lousy mattress from a lousy company Springfit.

      I threw the mattress out to my car driver after sleeping uncomfortably for a few months and no respite from the company .

        My order ID is [protected]. I have booked Dining table & Sofa sets from hometown kanjurmarg Mumbai on 22nd feb 2015. It was scheduled to be delivered on 28/03/2015 at Surat. I had house warming ceremony on the 28th march which was disturbed due the nondelivery & we had to be in a occured position. We have been calling on the helpline number [protected] several times, every time somebody would promise us regarding the delivery & promise a call within 2 hours, but no call was received. There was utter confusion regarding the delivery address. The Store manager Mr. Sarfaraz Khan at kanjurmarg doesnot pick up the phone. Till date the goods have not been delivered & today i have been promised of the final date for Saturday 4th March 2015. The service is worst. The people responsible for delivery should be held accountable for this delay & the whole team be responsible for this torture. Preeti & Jatin Parekh

                On 30-3-15 I went and purchased groceries at 13.44 hours at big Bazaar, ArcotRoad branch and asked them for home delivery. My home delivery challan no. 2441 dt.[protected]. The agreed and said that the goods will be delivered in the evening. Till now 1-4-15 .. 8.30 hours the goods were not delivered. Day before yesterday and yesterday I have called them for the delay in delivery. They simply saying it will be delivered within one hour. So many hours passed delivery is yet to be made. Why these people accepting this home delivery? I have never seen like this. I have shopped in so many super markets in chennai they are prompt in service. The name may be BIG BAZAAR. WORTHLESS BAZAAR TO SAY. it is high time the authorities of this Big Bazaar to close down their shop and convert it in to a Barber Shop. இவர்கள் வ்யாபாரம் செய்வதை விட சரைக்க போகலாம். No curtesy to customers. No prompt reply in attending calls. A bad experience indeed.

                Today morning I contacted one Ms. Jothi in Big Bazaar consumer care ([protected]) and lodged the complaint. She has given the registration of complaint no. as 92556. She asked me to contact the person concerned in the super market where I had purchased the goods. Today morning at about 945 am contacted the in charge madam o[censored]r outlet obliged and refunded the amount of ₹ 3445/-

                While I am in ur outlet most of the people were some what disappointed about the service rendered there. Curtesy us very much lacking. The management should give some training to the staff concerned to educate them to take care of the grievances expressed by them. If you go through the Indian Consumer Complaint forum you can see through the complaints and try to rectify them in good sprit. You have never post ur reply on those comments. This means you people never care about this. Your growth will be on the goodwill of the people who are ur customers. As Mahathma Gandhi once said that
                “A customer is the most important visitor, on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him.He is not an interruption on work. He is the purpose of it.He is not an outsider to our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him…He is doing us a favor by giving us the opportunity to do it.”
                If you people take this as mantra, the organisation in which you serve will grow and at the same time the employees reputation as well as their livelihood also grow tremendously.

                Best wishes with a hop you will look into this in a good sprit in upholding the consumer's dreams as enriched in western countries.

                  i, purchase deo of park avenue from big bazaar v3s mall nirman vihar in that i, won free hair cut voucher.i registered it on21 march that voucher on line on saloon rewards.com properly and they book my registration on 30 march in khan market 44 habib saloon.when i go to the saloon on 30 march they denied me to cut the hairs because they said we don't have any tie up with park avenue or big bazaar and this is completely fake.and we don't found any prior notice regarding to this. Due to of this i lost my most precious 10 days and 4-6 prior meetings and i suffered from mentally harashement and i feel sick and doctor give me complete bed rest. so due to this i won't be able to doing work and i, lost so much precious thing because of this fraud doing by big bazar and park avenue. so, my humble request to you please do justice with me.

                      You was running the scheme for buying old items & scheme suppose to be valid till 29 Mar.15, but when I reached at your varanasi store on 29 mar 15 at 16.0 hrs stall has been closed already. When I asked, store person replied that scheme already closed on 28 Mar.15.

                        Dear readers, please don't fall prey for their exchange offers. Its pure cheating. In the big flex hoarding they compare the exchange price with the local price (like 1 Kg of paper taken for Rs.50/- whereas the local shops would do this for Rs.12/-). So eventually when one reads this, get the idea that he is going to get Rs.50/- or something worth the same amount which can make his purchase something. Sounds reasonable till this point. In reality, what they give is useless discount coupons with a money tag Rs.50, which will be a sure burden or trap for the customer. To get any 'benefit' from these discount coupons the customer may need to purchase items work Rs.200 or Rs.400 (4 times or 8 times) depending upon the commodity selected from the store. I can't find any better word other than pure-day-light-robbery for this whole process. When asked the cashier why can't they give the clear instructions in the big posters, the guy saved himself by directing me to a customer care professional, who was equally useless as the former one, and pointed out they are doing this for the last 4 years. I was shocked to hear this, how can our customers tolerate this kind of cheating all these times !! To conclude, Big Bazaar looted my resources (in the form of some clothes) and gave me a promise (in the form of discount coupons which has 'Terms and Conditions' written in small letter in the paper back) that I can make any purchase with the exchange. Corporate lairs.

                        Thanks for taking up my issue. But I don't expect any beautifully crafted business lies from Biz Bazaar in this regard, as I am sure they will come up with other such dirty offers to trick customers like this again in future.

                        My visit to your store (Big Bazaar, East Fort, Trivandrum) was my first and last experience with your unethical business strategy. I would neither come back to you nor will recommend you to any of my friends.

                          I am vikram and my contact no is [protected], I am very thankful to everyone who involved in changing process of my Oven. I am not able to update my complaint ID 1030389 dated 25 Mar. Is the terms and condition were OK which were given to me for changing the oven. i have also mailed to the concerned authorities of big bazaar and ezone but didn't received any reply. These were (1) only today 27 mar i can change if i will come on 28 they will not. (2) We will not be giving any gift voucher but a credit note because it cannot be divided for multiple purchases. (3) Oven is compulsory to purchase and its value has to be more then the credit note, i cannot purchase anything else in big bazaar with that credit note except in ezone (but not multiple items in ezone and value has to be more). i was trying for OTG, vacuum cleaner, sandwich toaster and juicer and bill on grand total can be paid from that credit note. (4) i cannot use any coupon (i don’t know why if bill no is new then why coupon cannot be used) though the cashier agreed otherwise i have to pay more Rs 1500 as per their condition. (5) i cannot return the item in any case. What is the RETURN policy? i was feeling that i have done a big mistake to come to Big bazaar, the same oven which i got at today is just 11690 at flipkart (without any discount) and i got it with discount at Rs 11321. When I asked ezone that flipkart is giving at 1200 rs (as per MRP IN FLIPKART) less then yours, their answer was we cannot compare with online store. But when you see ezone online store there is a difference of 1700 rs. what is the use of giving my old oven.(6) when ezone can use coupons of big bazaar then why can't he give gift vouchers of big bazaar. (7) why i cannot purchased multiple items from that credit note (8) why they cannot take the item back, when it is in same condition as given by Big bazaar, not opened, its warranty card not even stamped. Is it that item once sold cannot be returned. (9) Earlier on 25 store manager said that he confirmed from higher authorities and it cannot be changed and on 26 Mar Store manager said that he has been ordered to change it today only tomorrow it is not possible and we will not change. At this time store manager was behaving as i have done a major crime of purchasing items from big bazaar/ezone (10) Why a customer is misguided by store in-charge that he cannot use discount coupons, though they are in validity and scheme is going on. (11) There exchange programme in which it is clearly mention that any electrical scrap is 1000/KG, but when I went there they said it is misprinted actually it is Rs 300/Kg, and when i told them that I want to speak to your supervisor they said you take it at 500/KG.

                            This is displeasing to say that the very first experience of our big bazaar "Raja garden" was extremely annoying. We did a shopping worth rupees 2197 on clothes. When we reached at the billing counter we were accused of being out of line by one of your employees named "DEVENDER" and also forcing him to do our billing even when we were the only customer for billing. He very rudely straight away denied to do our billing and also challenged us that he will not do whosoever we call whether it being the manager or anyone else (even the owner). After much hustle bustle the manager himself did made our billing. After listening and reading about your stores finally we planned to visit the store. We are a resident of Dwarka sector 1-A and after travelling much distance and devoting much we definitely do not expect such a response. This behaviour of yours is just not acceptable. We expect a quick and just action as soon as possible.

I have just one question to ask …… Is the faulty part arriving from the moon as any delivery across the world can be completed in less than 7 days ?                                 On the day of 21st March 2015 I went to Galaxy Mall(Big Bazar) at Asansol for for purchasing Induction Ovan (Prsetige) and I purchase it for Rs.3200/- and some other food item, after receving cash memo, one of the representative said to me that you will get 30/- Rs call charge, plase take a T24 sim from our counter, and accordingly I go to the counter of T24 sim, and there one representative demand me for paying Rs.80/- and then I will give you one SIM of T24 and you will get Rs.80/- talk time after activation, and you will get opportunity 98 sms everyday and 100 mb data balance but when my sim will activate I will get only Rs.40/- talk time and no data card balance I received till date, and so many times I will call to Big Bazar:[protected] but they are not co-operate with me, not response they taken I want to communicate my problem, lastly I call to the customer care of T24, but they said to me, when you purchase the sim they can only solve your problem, they are not sendidng your talk time amount that is why you can not get the Call charge. So I request before you that this type of job may please stop from your Big Bazar counter, T24 representative are fraud, and it you can not stop this business then it will hamper your renowned business.

                                24TH MARCH I BOOKED A HITACHI AIR CONDITIONER FORM EZONE CHEMBUR BRANCH BASED AT DIAMOND GARDEN IN KMALL. I MADE IT VERY CLEAR THAT LIFTING OF MY OLD AC AND INSTALLATION OF NEW AC SHOULD GO HAND IN HAND. THE DELIVERY DATE FIXED UP WAS 26TH MARCH BUT STILL INSISTED TO MAKE A CALL BEFORE THE PURCHASED AC LEAVES YOUR WAREHOUSE. INSPITE OF MAKING THINGS CLEAR SOME VENDOR CAME AND PICKED UP MY OLD AC AND YOUR NEW AC LEFT TO BE DELIVERED WITHOUT EVEN BOTHERING TO GIVE ME A CALL.
                                THE MATTER DOES NOT COME TO AN END HERE, SINCE 26TH MARCH THE AC IS JUST LYING LIKE THAT ONLY IN MY HOUSE AND THERE IS NO ONE TO COME AND INSTALL IT, I HAVE VISITED YOUR OUTLET TWICE REQUESTING THEM THE INSTALLATION BUT I THINK NOW THAT IT IS SOLD I HAVE NO OTHER OPTION RATHER THAN BEARING WITH ALL THE NON SENSE GOING ON. YOUR PEOPLE HAVE STOP RESPONDING TO MY CALL.
                                THE HITACHI PERSON IS CALLING UP AND GIVING SOME OR THE OTHER REASON FOR NOT COMING FOR INSTALLATION. TODAY SURPIRISINGLY AT 7:30 HE TOLD ME THAT HIS 2 WHEELER IS NOT FUCTIONING PROPERLY AND THE SAME PERSON AT 4:30 TOLD ME THAT HE IS WORKING IN BANDRA.
                                MY PARENTS ARE VERY OLD AND THIS AC WAS FOR THEM TO AVOID THIS KILLING HEAT, NOT THE OLD AC IS ALSO GONE AND NEW AC IS LYING IN ONE CORNER OF THE ROOM.
                                I AM GETTING A FEELING THAT I HAVE APPLIED FOR MY RETIREMENT PENSION AND TO GET THE SAME I HAVE TO APPROACH THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN.
                                JUST TO REMIND YOU I HAVE PURCHASED A 29000/- PRODUCT.

                                  I had sold 10 KG of newspaper and 6 kg of clothes for which I got coupons.I purchased philips gc1920 steam iron for Rs 1595.00 after discount (i.e 12.5 %) for which I have a valid bill and I gave them Rs 200 worth coupons. If I had purchased that same item in Flipkart or Amazon.in I would get same philips gc1920 steam iron for Rs 1421.00 without exchanging anything.I can attach that amazon snippets for your ready reference.Big Bazaar people are duping people in the name of exchange offer.When I could the same item for Rs 1421 instead of Rs.1595. why should I go to Big baazar.Rs 174 loss + old clothes + old newspaper = Loss.Now big Baazar answer this...Why are duping people in the name of exchange offer????

                                  Hi i m vikram. i also feel the same thing. I have purchased oven 28 L from bigbazzar visakhapatnam at rs 11320. the same model is available in flipkart at Rs 11451 and this rate is after a discount of Rs 1550 (exchange of old BAJAJ MWO model 2100 ETC). I have given my old partially ops oven weighing 12.600 kg. and after travelling 40 Kms both side i got this. i requested big bazaar please replace it with 21 L and assured them that i will not ask any type of hard cash refund. But they directly told it is not possible. actually we are fools when flipkart amazon starcj are giving servicing at our door steps why we are going to them. After company has a return policy of 15-30 days but this bazaar is not having. Awareness should be there on media about this type of cases

                                    Dear sir i am vikram and mobile no is [protected]. I have purchased samsung microwave oven on 24 mar 15 from big bazaar visakhapatnam. it is of 28 L model no MC28H5013AK/TL under exchange programme with Rs 1550 discount of exchange value after which oven costs me Rs 11320 . on 25 Mar (next day) i requested bigbazaar official to replace it with 21 or 20 ltr. i also requested them that i will not ask for cash refunds, , gift vouchers may be given. It is pertinent to mention that items warranty card is not stamped for purchase and it is still unused. But all in vain they directly refused to take it back. Please tell me how can i tackle this situation since 0930 morning i am trying my best. BIGBAZAAR service after sales is very bad i called them at 0930 they told me that store manager is not available, i called at 1100 store manager was told available, i called at 1600 store manager was not available. and finally at 1645 i got a call from the employee to whom i requested to call me back. Please guide is this complaint be raised to consumer court as i have a positive point of not asking refund of any typr of hard cash. My emails and phone calls, in this regards, are the proof

                                    Before raising issue in this forum they straightway refused to change my 28 ltr oven to 21 ltr. On 26 Mar at 1759 the Ezone reps visakhapatnam called me from phone no 9160004823 and agreed to replace it but with lots of terms & conditions which i tried to update in same compaint ID 1030389 but i was unable to do same. So i raised that terms & conditions in this forum only as new complaint. Any how my oven was replaced with 21 ltrs. Thanks everyone who helped me. Jai Hind

                                    I will thank Indian Consumer Complaints forum that my oven has been replaced with 21 ltrs LG MC2143BPP after spending one day continuous talking on phone and six hours at big bazaar ezone center waiting for store manager to come after lunch, who has gone for lunch and took 2-3 hrs to come back.                                       Bought Loreal Total Repair 5 shampoo bottle 360ml from Big Bazaar Chembur East K star Mall Branch (Food Bazaar). On the Bar code the price was Rs.259/- and when I came home and scratched the bar code the orginal price was Rs.235/-. I feel cheated by Big Bazaar who are fooling people by doing such cheap tricks. I Have also attached the proof and this product was bought by me on 18th Feb, 2015 on wednesday bazaar. And they claim sabse sasta din.

I m left this company since 3 months and the fnf process is clear within 45 days. I ask to the hr he is not giving the reasonal reason for that sometimes he is not pic a phn also.
