I have purchased a Queen bed made of particle board in August 2009 vide Invoice no.5133, now it has got loosened up and nuts are coming out. I made complain two weeks back and was told that a person will come to my house to mend it, but no one came. Since then almost every alternate day I am making complain and receiving same reply that a person will come to my house to mend it but in vain.

Seeing this kind of response, I will never make any purchase from Home Town.

    I have paid Rs.11999/ in full to BIG BAZAAR, Royapettah to buy supreme cot (ORDER NO:[protected] on 24th July 2010 with an assurance to deliver at home. Till date (after 27 days) it is not delivered. Atleast 6 persons talked to me (christopher, Mohammed, Prakash, Kalidas and ofcourse girish - Manager) who had assured each day that this would be delivered but not. Today girish informs that the Cot was misplaced and wrong item was dispatched from their factory/godown and delivered to their office and not to home. They asked me to wait further.
    Really disgusted by the casual approach of Big Bazaar and they do not even track the order and good with delivery dates and this was informed to me only on MY CALLING UP AND NOT BY THEM.

    I expect BIG BAZAAR top guys would lend their ears to ensure delivery of this immediately as this gives a bad taste to purchase with big bazaar as I am one of their loyal clients.

I intended to go for whirlpool 3 door refrigerator and made the payment of the entire amount of rs.22,770 through SBIdebit card at 6.30 pm on 16 .8 2010.Next morning on 17.8.2010 before the delivery of refri. me and my wife personally visited the place once again requested mr tomar,Mr chaturvedi cust .care and other officers to change the colour if they have or any other piece of the same model. My request was turned down stating that it is not their policy. We also requested them to refund the money ,this too was not entertained . Kindly do the needful and oblige. We have also reported the matter at complained register at saharaganj yesterday. i had made 100% payment and now i have to suffer so much.. I think hometown lko is a worst company who does not care about his costumer.Kindly expedite the matter i shall be grateful

      1) home town lko is terribly inefficient
      2) Rs 22, 770 is to be refunded to us Keeping my money since 16.8..2010 without delivery.
      3) I am registering complaint almost twice in a week
      4) there is no response whatsoever.
      5) They should tell us under which rule they can keep anybody's money without delivery since 16th august 2010 Unlawful working.

        I acknowledge a e- mail from team customer support.Thanks for quicker response
        but problem is still unattended to, due to non cooperative behaviour of service
        center management.Whenever I phone him ,he listens to the problem and
        immediately, there after cuts the phone off, immediately.Please look into the
        matter and oblige me by putting the service in time.

        This is for your information and necessary action that no body repair DIGITAL CAMERA NIKON COOLPIX L10 which I bought from BIG BAZAAR, FUTURE GROUP, MITTAL MALL, SECTOR-25, HUDA, PANIPAT on 15/08/2008.I repeatedly made request to Dealer and e-care.           this is not for the first time, many times when i checked th bill at home there were lots of mistakes bought a 5kg pack of atta and paid for 10kg, bought a 2 fresh gold juices rate mentioned ws rs 99 and paid 140, luckly i checked th bill later and found th mistake. so i hv to visit th store again again for th correction of bill i dont hv spare time always.
          but today th experience ws really vry bad one employee name Santosh in electronic section behaved vry rudely bcoz with some eloctronic items i had few things from food bazeer also, he said mai karoonga hi nahi and said NAHI LENA HAI TO MAT LO, i leave th whole trolly there.my 2hrs of shopping ws wasted it really hurts.
          i always use to visit big bazaar every week, but from today i am not going to buy anything from there
          neither suggest anybody to go there.
          PLEASE TRY TO IMPROVE UR MANAGEMENT.

            Hi Guys,

            I dont know to whom this email may reach and what would be the result of this email. If you are not the correct person for this email, I am sorry for it, but I would appreciate if you could forward it to the concerned person or the concerned department. Nevertheless, I would also be posting this same thing on most of the consumer sites and free blogs, etc to speak out my words about experiencing the HELL @ Big Bazaar Bhayandar (W) Branch within the Maxus Mall.

            I request you guys not to take my email just for granted or a mischief. You guys can check the video footage (about 19:10 hrs to 19:45 hrs date 12-Aug-2010) if you have of the Big Bazaar Bhayandar (W) Branch within the Maxus Mall.

            I along with my parents were there for the shopping just like other many people as there was sale. We did quite a lot shopping as per our budget. While standing in the queue, which was obvious as there were many more people ahead o[censored]s, we were waiting that we are done soon. First of all to our surprise, few items which were on discount were not given discount one of them was Dove pack of 3 with MRP Rs. 125 and Food Bazaar Price was mentioned at the stall as Rs. 115. We skipped that product as I felt like cheated. Many who do not note the price at the counter must have taken the product without noticing that fact. Also we had to skip other products that does not have the bar code (as per the counter sales girl) so we need to wait for a longer time and there were other people too in the queue.To add to this, there were plenty of yellow uniformed Big Bazaar guys near to the payment counters shouting and yelling and making hell lot of noise pollution with the empty utensils to let the people know about the offers. There were many loud speakers which were continuosly speaking about the offers but this was really worse when these guys shout and yell and especially make noise with the utensils just to grab attention. I feel they dont know that they are wasting their energy and making fun of themselves as they seem to be like ROWDY MAWALI guys. To our shock, there were quite a few customers who felt this very irritating but could not help as they could not shout at them may be because of their age factor. They dediced to leave without even purchasing anything. As people do shop more when they feel the pleasant enviorment and NOT when they are being IRRITATED by such stupid noise of thes big bazaar guys.

            On complaining the same at the service help desk. The concerned person was busy talking to other team members and kept ignoring us, WHICH IS AN INSULT TO THE CUSTOMER. However, as a limit of my patience, I got really angry and pulled his ID that was hanging on his neck to show him the kind of TRAUMA we customers are facing. As a result few of them all were the Big Bazaar guys team members gathered and we all had a small fight there. Thanks to my daddy, had he not been there, I would have really screwed those guys to teach them a lesson. As LAATO KE BHOOT BAATON SE NAHI MAANTE... When telling them to stop such noise they told that they will not stop (check the recording footage with voice) I was shocked to hear this ... as the SALES guys are telling IF YOU DONT LIKE THIS, YOU DONT COME TO BIG BAZAAR, BUT WE WILL DO LIKE THIS ONLY. Had Kishore Biyani been there, he would have treated those guys very well on the spot, coz he knows that to find a customer it take years but to lose one it take just a second. And due to these guys, I promise that I will spend a little more.... but never go or suggest any one else to any Big Bazaar store from now onwards where I was INSULTED.

            The guys at the store should be trained properly before alloting them such a responsible task. They should know how to treat the customers not just to get customers only for 1 time. This may result in a loss of Good will.

            Today there is atleast 1 unsatisfied customer, but I am sure if this continues, there would be many many unsatisfied customers despite of the MAHABACHAT OR THE SUPER SUPER MAHABACHAT OFFER of Big Bazaar and in due course of time SALES would drop drastically.

              Yesterday i.e. 8th August 2010 we visited Big Bazaar at Maxus Mall in Bhayander. After shopping when we visited the counter for billing we found that people are openly cheated. We had faced lots of issues. Details are as follows: (1) There was an offer on the soups buy two and get one free. but at the counter the person said it is not in the offer and if I take that, I would be reimburse from customer service desk. (2).We took pasta packet but not allowed to take it as the price was not inserted on their system. (3) After making the payment we happen to check the bill and noticed that 2 food items wherein the charge on the label was less and on the bill was more. We check with the counter staff he said you would be reimburse from customer desk. We checked with the Managers but nothing happened. (4) When we reached home we noticed there are 3 more items wherein the price was less and they have charged more. I think this is ridicious. They are cheating the customers. Customers go to Big Bazaar, trusting that they will get commodities with good quality and lower rate and since it is automated the customers dont even bother to check twice. Looking at the situation we feel if they collect money from each and everycustomer who does not even bother to check the bill and the label price would have been cheated. This is open robbery and it must be stopped. I require my issue should be resolved at the earliest as I have the evidence and the details. This is not the first time we were cheated prior also we were cheated by Big bazaar Kandivali.

                I ordered Jaipan Fry Pan, Kadhai, Tawa, Tadka Pan from futurebazaar.com Order No. [protected]. The cost of the product was Rs. 560 and they charged me additional Rs. 100 stating that they will deliver it within 7 days (not stated 7 working days or 7 business days). Now when I didn't receive the order in 7 days I called them up and asked them to return Rs. 100 which is charged for the delivery. They are telling that its not possible and when asked to cancel the order then they told that they will be doing it instantly and will reverse the charged amount instantly also but stated that they will do it after the phone is dropped only. They told that they need to talk to their accounts team and can't be done in a conference call. So I dropped and called them after 3 hours and asked about the order status and was told to me that the order is in transit and is not cancelled yet. They are trying to cheat.
                They are keeping the amount with them and not reversing. For this I am not getting my money and also will not get the interest on it and also have to devote time to calling them repeatedly as all the time they are not responding to the calls.
                Please extend your high hand to redress the issue.

                At the outset please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused to you due to the delay in processing the said order.

                We are sorry to inform you that the ordered products were not readily available in our warehouse and hence there was a delay in processing the order. We have made every possible effort to arrange the products and the same were dispatched from our end via Aramex courier Airway Bill number [protected].

                  We had placed order for curtains on 6th of June with Hometown Vikroli and because the fabric not being able and the hometown tailor constantly dilly dallying decided to stop running behind the tailor and cancelled the order on 6th of July. On cancelation we were promised a refund by Mr. Ranjeet the supposed incharge of that section.
                  We met him again on the 17th of July and on equiring he again confirmed that we would be getting our refund shortly as he had processed it.
                  On calling up Hometown on 27th of July we we were shocked to be informed that the refund had not been processed!!! Throughout this episode the attitude of the customer relations and Mr. Ranjeet was very cool and casual with no remorse or sense of responsibility whatsoever. In fact everyone seems to be passing the buck.

                    My inlaw brough Micro wave oven as gift for us. However when it was delivered we realised that it is very big and would be difficult to adjust in our kitchen space. Immediately we asked the big bazaar to replace the same with smaller size one. The answer I got was that their POS system does not allows this. I found this very surprizing that due to a system I am going to suffer life long.

                      The incident occurred with me today in the mall has left me very depressed, humiliated and Public embarrassment Hence kindly assist me to escalate this matter to the right authority and get me justice as I am deeply upset with this case.

                      On 28th July 2010, I came to Big-bazaar (Ameerpet branch) at around 5:30 PM and after billing all my articles just as I was stepping out of EXIT gate, the alarm beeped, and everybody was staring at me with weird look.The security guy started checking my articles… (My reputation was at stake infront of public) to realize that it was mistake of billing guy for not removal of Magnetic tag. I asked them to call the supervisor and compensate for my embarrassment and possibly reimburse my bill. The surpervosor came and said he will process the request, then the made me wait near the counter for more than an hour, later when I asked then what is happening, they said they will return me money in a while but not the articles which I had shopped. Else pay the money and take back your articles, which will take another half n hour. By this time it was already 10: 15 PM and being single girl I cant tolerate to stand back in the store and fight at the closing time of store where as it was the fault of store guys NOT ME. But the supervisor Mr Ali khn and the manager B Hari was too rude to me and humiliated me infront of public.

                      I am a reputed person (employee of HSBC) and they humiliated me publically wasting 5 hours of my time and causing extreme reputational harm to me. And also denying to return me the articles which I had shopped.

                      I want them to compensate me for the reputational and financial damage caused to me.

                      Yes this Ameerpet Big bazaar branch is one of the cheap branch. Me too had bed experience with them, I did some shopping there & I paid my bill by cash but when I was paying my bill that time counter guy was talking on phone and collected money and after 5 mins he said sir you didn't pay me any thing. I told him I gave you Rs. 500 cash but he started arguing with me. I asked him to go and check with his supervisor or technical staff for video footage (CCTV Camera is there) but he told me that our Cameras are not working. I started shouting on him and asked him to count total money what he had on his counter. Finally he got that I paid him...I gave good doss to him & his seniors
                      the service management of Big bazaar ameerpet is just WORST despite of huge publicity and structure

                      I was getting calls for some payment due of credit card,
                      When i have called on customer care for details they told me that details provided by you are not correct so we can not provide you details.
                      And then they have called in my office, to my seniors,HR and friends for payment.
                      If all the details are incorrect and not belongs to me then why i am getting calls from then.
                      please help me.

                      They have committed to deliver the AC on 11April, i have done the payment on 3rd April. When i started follow up the response is very bad.

                      They are not responding on phone and not even bother to call and inform.

                        Hi,

                        I am Sameer Joshi, an unfortunate customer of Big bazaar, Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

                        I had purchased a bedroom set worth Rs. 44999, from Big bazaar, Aurangabad on 18th July 2010.

                        They promised me a delivery date of 28th July 2010. I called them yesterday to know the delivery status.

                        They said they dont have all the items in stock and can deliver only 2 items out of the bedroom set.

                        I asked them to give me the exact date and they are still not sure if they can make the complete delivery and the date on which the delivery will be made.

                        I have the advance receipt about the payment done to Big bazaar. Please let me know the procedure to file a complaint against them.

                          I have purchase Dinning table form Big Bazar on date 17/07/10. they deleivered on 22/07/10. But so far 25/07/10 nobody has come for assembled. after so meny follow up with Big Bazar Office very poor responce i am getting getting same anwser today sending.

                          I am fate up with this service please take up seriosly.

                            The further details of the product are as below:

                            • Qty.: 200 Ml.
                            • B.No.: 0114 – C.M.[protected]
                            • Manufacturing: 03/09
                            • MRP: Rs.75/-.

                            I am very sorry to mention that I have been charged Rs.90/- for the above product vide Receipt No.0015714 (Tr.69396) dated 14.04.2010 – Item Code: C[protected] – Desc.:-Ayur Body Ltn Clrmlk - Cashier Name: Vivek Shukla.

                            I visited the store on 16.04.10 for my concern – Gate Pass No. 6640 for exchange – I have been returned Rs.15.

                            I have also made the complaint in writing on the register “Share with us” kept at store – No.126/16.04.2010. For which, till date there is no response. To get the money back is not the solution to the cheating and harassment caused to the customers. Unfortunately, the same incidence has happened earlier also with me.

                            There is no response from Big Bazaar on the same.

                            The same has happened again to me when they charged more than MRP on two products on 24.07.2010 vide Receipt No.0002008 (Tr.62223).

                            To sell the goods above the MRP is an offence in India which had happened to me and the possibilities are there with other customers also.

                            Please help me out.

                            metro food — price more than M.R.P

                            sir...i went 2 resturant near new delhi metro station n i bought 2 pepsi cans with the printed M.R.P Rs. 20(all tax inclusive)...but he charged me rs. 50(rs.25 for each can)...n when i said it is more then the printedv MRP...then he said itz my resturant n i will sell it at any price....according to law u cant sell anything on higher price then MRP...n he is nt producing the product......wat to do???
                            I did some shopping in Food Bazaar of Metro Junction Kalyan yesterday. I bought haldiram bhujiya packet of 1 KG worth rs 160. I was in hurry and couldnt find time to cross check the bill. I Unwrapped the packets after reaching home the next day. To my surprise, I realised they charged me for 3 packets of haldiram bhujiya even though i bought only 1. The bill showed 480/- instead of 160/- I really feel cheated and I am gonna raise this issue @ the food bazaar tomorrow.

                            Please be careful and dont forget to cross check the invoice before leaving the cash counter.

                              Hi,

                              After looking at low price on Bigbazaar Online Shopping portal ordered Geyser and Exhaust Fan.

                              During Booking time for Geyser delivery time showed as 21 days, but after a month suddenly order cancelled without my knowledge.

                              Exhayst Fan delivery mentioned online as 7 days, but not delivered even after 15 days.

                              After repeated calling at customer centers, only answer i got is we are co-ordinating and will get back to
                              you, without mentioning the time lines.

                              request users to not to fall in such frauds.

                                how to get my money back from future pre paid shopping card
                                on sep 2009 i purchased future prepaid gift card. during the time of purchase they intimated me that i can use it before one year at any time and in specified locations. But yesterday when i went to big bazaar to buy some products they say that they stopped accepting the card and all the money cant be re imbursed.

                                when i try to contact the customer care center on[protected]
                                and mailed them and [protected]@futureprepaidcards.com am not getting any response from them ...no reply to mail nor they are not picking up the call.

                                  We read the ads by Home town in TOI - Delhi Times and as per the facts (which unfortunately we believed in) headed to Home Town Store at Noida to register in hope of getting our home renovated.
                                  We met Ms Geetika Juneja at the store in Noida on 05-May-2010 for providing a design option.
                                  We very clearly mentioned to her that we were looking for a fast execution of the project & if we are satisfied with the quality of work we will go for a complete re-design of our apartment .
                                  We paid an amount of Rs 7999 /- via cheque for design of Drawing dining are and one bedroom.

                                  Today on 14-July-10 which is 2 months + 9 days later the design is still not ready. The suggestions for bedroom have been completely forgotten

                                  We have following serious concerns:

                                  1. We never saw an eagerness of your representative to work on the project, rather than us getting updates we were constantly following up on her.
                                  2. On a random basis whenever we called we were told that she is on leave. When we smsed her, she claimed she had'nt even received that.
                                  3. We gave comments on the design shared by her on 19-June-10 in Person ( 2nd visit to the store in hope of closing the plan/ getting budget etc on same day so that we could give a go ahead for execution), but did not get a single update via e-mail or phone call after that meeting, forget anything being finalized the same day.
                                  4. Geetika finally called on 12-Jul-10 and when we raised same concerns she disconnected the phone on some pretext with a promise to call again which we have not received till date.

                                  We are completely dissatisfied with the results so far and have no faith in the tall claims made by the store in TOI.
                                  Due to lack of professionalism and commitment from the team we have requested (via email on 14/07 to [protected]@home-solutions.co.in ) to cancel our request but so far there is no response from the store.

                                  We will never ever recommend Home town design and build option to anyone

                                  My hisband and I got fascinated by the ad "Ab Ghar banana kitna aasaan, " Since we both have challenging jobs at professional level, we decided to go through Home Town for renovation of bathroom.. We shelved out advance payment and purchased the stuff from Home Town for bathroom, to begin with (we had plans to redo our flat, which we told representatvies very clearly). Right from Day 1, there was no enthusiasm of getting the work done. The labour wuld reach at site around 12 noon or later. Wuld have lunch nicely in the bedroom attached to the bathroom. They wuld lie down and wuld nt bother their pan peeks or oil laden hair wuld spoil the walls and floors of bedroom. They wuld happily go back around 3pm. After noticing two days, I checked with the representatives, they informed me that as per plan, the work wuld be over in 9-10 days. and per day 2-3 hrs of work are required. No one from Home Town monitored the work for one week. The so called sub contractor wuld come hurriedly, picks up laboureres working in adjoing houses of colony and wuld leave. Then started the exchnage of phone calls, sms and emails ( which were one sided--obviously from our side only). The work was to get over by June mid. Now we are in August end and there is seepage in the bedroom of our neighbours who live one floor down. The QUALITY of producvts sold by Home Town--dont fit properly (due to design fault) by their own workers. Level of Committment and Enthusiasm is ZERO in their staff. No one shuld trust their ads and materials..
                                  can someone tell me abt the BIG BOSS of HOME TOWN--who is concerned abt his company.
                                  u were lucky not to have the design. iam the unlucky one who got the design on time and got the work started. my project was worth small amt. of 1.15 lacs. til date after two months they have not finished the project, wth silly excuses i am still running after them with a lot many small problems in work as well.it seems them 30 to 40% margins r really not enough. gud luk to all o[censored]s( hometown customers).

                                    There is an offer going in big bazaar near forum mall hosur road. I bought a complan muzeli which they give me for a discounted fare. Coming back home which is 10 kms away i found the product has crossed the expiry date. Complained to the concerned persons and they give me an only option of returning back and getting reimbursed or a proper prouduct.This involves travelling 20 kms again spending couple of hours for this. Is there any option to teach them a lesson, since i find the entire retail always goofs up in many of their services like incorrect billing ,unsafe products.
                                    I am not going to any of their stores again. Advise to refrain from shopping in big bazaar.
