To beat the heat we got into our favorite store "BIG BAZAAR" and shortlisted the SAMSUNG Built-in stabilizer the latest model in the
market by Samsung. Was really happy that Big Bazaar had the stock. But the hapiness was shortlived.

Now we are really suffering unable to take the heat with the temperature soaring to almost 40s …


On 21st Mar 2010, we had purchased 3 AC's of Samsung make Model No: AS183TGA. At the time of delivery we were assured that
there is stock in the warehouse and at any point in time we can take the AC's and there would not be any issue.
Getting that assurance from the Electronics manager Mr Satish (Big Bazaar Ameerpet), we booked the AC's and later informed them
to deliver them on 7th Apr. When contacted on 6th Apr just to ensure since we were to get the installation, we were informed that
stock is not available so the AC's would be delivered on 10th Apr. From here the story of my suffering began, and the guys
(Satish/Laxman/Parthu) just went on promising the dates of delivery which never came till date.

Till date even after several followups the AC's are not delivered. Every time we call there is something or the other [censored] all reasoning.
The delivery date was to be on 7th Apr 2010. When enquired, we were informed there is some delay sometime reason was bandh, sometime
reason as Curfew in Old City etc etc …
Now the latest reason is the model no which we have selected is no more in the market … I really don't get to understand how come the order
was taken when there was no stock … If you guys knew that there was no stock and Samsung cannot deliver it why is it false promises given.

This is really pathetic and the people taking the calls don't even have the courtesy to call back and inform the status.
It is always that we have to followup and tell them about our issue.

Would really appreciate if some one can really look into this and get this resolved ASAP.

    My name is Mr. Khizir maine big bazar se Passion ka DVD liya tha jo ki 2 se 3 dino mai kharab ho gaya aur jab mai waha unke pass lekar gaya to waha Mr. Vishal mile the unhone mere complain sune bager kaha ki apna DVD kabar mai fek do.Abhi mere DVD ki warranty period mai hai.Plz do some thing for this.

      boss actualy i visited to your big bazar in sahara mall.so i was on to electronics way after that one of your exicutive behaved really rude me.and when i asked to him about his/her seniors number then he told me rhat i dont hav any numbers of them even we dont hav a feedback id.so thats the service your providing to a customer.im totaly disagree with it and one thing more im not going to move on again to big bazar.

      BIG BAZAAR — Rude and pathetic customer service

      Hi,

      The customer support staff in Big bazaar(sattelite bus stop, bangalore) are a bunch of very rude and arrogant people, specially this guy named Vijay.I had some queries regarding recharge of mobile phones to which they absolutely did not respond and aked me to recharge from shops outside of big bazaar in a rude and pathetic manner, i was a regular customer to big bazaar, now i buy all things from TOTAL, which is much better in customer service.I think Big bazaar needs to look at its customer service which is pathetic to say the least

        BIG BAZAAR — higher price

        I bought goodnight mosquito repleent which is being advertised on tv as Rs 25 off.But they refused to give it at the co s discounted price.
        going to th customer service desk was not fruitful either.
        wheresas i bought the same item from another store at the co s advertised price.
        how can the company run a store claiming to be sabse sasta store and following walmart s footsteps when it cannot do simple mathematics----pass on a discount which a co is offering...
        is anyone in the co . taking note of such complaints????????????
        i had purchased a nokia mob. 6303 Rs.7800 from big bazar tonk road Jaipur on 3.9.2009 . and this product price Rs.6700 out of big bazar in local market and hot spot store.) so that are very high difference in price... than tell me solution.

        I purchsed a list of items from Mega Mall, Oshiwara.Receipt no.0015250, Cashier name Shweta Baudekar. The MRP of Sweekar sunflower oil is Rs.135 but in the billing it appears as Rs140. How is it? Is it happening for other items too?

          I placed an order on futurebazaar.com using my creditcard but got no response for a week, when I asked them for the status, they suggested me to submit credit card copy but they never bothered to email or call me to submit and asked only when I called up them.

          I called up again after submitting required documents to [protected]@futurebazaar.com, the customer support said that unless it is forwarded to [protected]@futurebazaar.com , they will not be able to help and have to wait until their so called verification team approves the transaction. It is 10 day since I placed the order and I am waiting for the order status to be changed from “Awaiting Customer Verification” to Processed or something. Interesting thing is that another order placed for the same item right after my order has been delivered. How come they guarantee 7 day delivery?

          Point to highlight is if they really want to confirm genuineness of the transaction, they should have called up or email me and I would have supplied them with required information, but it never happened. I am chasing them on call and email as it is my money and order in question, really pathetic.

          I doubt if they have the stock for the item in order! It will become easy for them to cancel the order and refund everything back on the name of verification process failure.

            It was a unpleasant experience at Big Bazaar MYSORE ROAD BANGALORE I brought a watermelon unfortunately it was rotten and i checked after i got back home and after taking the pain to travel back to the store and get it exchanged i got a condo-sending message by VENUGOPAL- he said he is the manager of the store
            the exchange of message happened this was

            me> can you please exchange it

            venu> I am sorry the way i look at the water melon it looks rotten but is edible i can show you by eating it
            "It is a NATIONAL FRUIT and we cannot guarantee it is good or bad if it is looking good from outside there out duty ends"

            He had a piece of fruit and said i love melons and can have this entire melon it is good

            me> at above i said alright lets strike a deal i will ask the customers at store it is good or bad and if they say the fruit is bad would exchange it

            Venu> "YES DEFINITELY i will exchange is any customer says it is bad"

            me> at above i asked 3 customers at the store who immediately said the fruit is overripe and rotten

            then the manager forcebly asked the customer at the store to taste it little at which the customer tasted and said it is bad fruit

            THE MANAGER STRAIGHT AWAY TURNED FROM HIS STATEMENT
            he said the fruit is bad yet it can be tasted
            bugger he wasted my time for this silly fruit
            and i learned my lesson hard way it was useless arguing
            Still in dilemma the manager wasn't guilty for selling a bad product of BIG BAZAAR
            on above not ready to give an exchange as if he own's big bazaar
            he said it will be loss if he takes back the product may be justifying how big bazaar makes profit by selling bad products
            I recommend this person should be removed from current position and should not be employed in any retail industry and he fails to have moral selling etiquette

            I have purchased induction cook-top from Big Bazaar on 15/10/11 after one day use it become unserviceble .No proper response from Big Bazaar service care they told me to approach servicing centre I have written to customer care center prestige but reply is still awaiting from their end.my model No is prestige induction cook- top 4.[protected] . my contact no is [protected].

              On the 9th of April 2010, we went shopping at the Big Bazar located at Raghuleela Mallin Vashi.

              After the shopping was done in the payment counter the bills were paid and by mistake we did not collect one of the materails(A T shirt worth Rs.199).

              On reaching home and veiwing the items we found that the T shirt was missing, we called the number mentioned on the bill. Some lady picked up and we informed her the same. The lady said it is ok and asked to collect the same by procuring the bill.

              On the 14th of April 2010, when my neighbor went to collect the T shirt, he was said that they did not recieve any call, also they said that there were only 4 members in the staff and all refused to have knowledge of the material.

              This is a real pity that the big organisation like Big Bazar has such a staff that for a mere Rs 200 T shirt all this has taken place.
              This is not about the Rs 200 Tshirt. It is all about the trust, it could be an expensive item.The customers some time in the hurry tend to forget the collection of the items, it is the responsiblity of the staff to take care that the materials should rbe returned back to the customer, if the intimate the same.

              I truly feel that the organisation should see to it that the customers are not cheated as it happened in our case. After all the money is hard earned.

                Last week (10th April) i went to purchase a TV trolley around 7:45 PM,

                I have selected a TV trolley with a price tag of Rs2999/-. I asked the sales executive to check for another piece if he have.

                The sales executive went to check and he come back with the update that they have. Immediately one Guy come and change the price tag to Rs 4199/- and the reason he give that they have have recieved update price from Mimbai this morning for every items.

                And ironically he has changed the price tag of of the "Trolley" i selected....for other articles there was no change in price.

                So i dont know how to describe their actions....

                Thanks to our over-burdened legal systems...these people give damn care to laws and ethics.
                I would advice customer NOT TO BUY PRODUCT FROM HOME TOWN, KOLKATA. They are the biggest cheater in Kolkata. I have ordered a dinning table under Advance Receipt No: [protected] dt. 28/08/2011 which was supposed to deliver within 3 days. Right now it is more than 20 days and there is no sign of delivery or status report from their end. We have tired of calling again and again. As per my last correspondance, they asked me to send email at ht.[protected]@futuregroup.co.in requesting for refund. Now they guys are kept neglecting my email and not ready to provide the refund against non-delivery of product.

                HOW CAN SUCH A BIGGEST CHEATER SURVIVE ?? I AM REALLY SHOCKED TO SEE SUCH PATHETIC SERVICE FROM FUTUREGROUP.

                  We purchased a furniture FROM RAIPUR BIG BAZAAR AT AHMEDABAD and have been informed that we will receive all the goods within 15 days as it is to be ordered from Mumbai branch.

                  WE PURCHASED ALL THE GOODS WORTH OF RS. 70,000.00. IT IS ALMOST ONE AND HALF MONTHS STILL NOT RECEIVED FULL DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS.

                  In first 20 days we received our package. However we found that one whole TV unit was missing plus other TV unit was with missing parts. We called a representative and informed about the same. He said we should receive remaining package in 3 days. It has been now more than 20 days... still they are not taking any prompt actions.

                  THEY NEVER CALLED AND INFORMED ABOUT THE STATUS. WE HAVE BEEN CALLING AND ASKING FOR THE UPDATES AND STATUS OF DELIVERY.

                  WHEN I ASKED FOR MY FULL MONEY BACK, THEY STARTED PASSING PHONE CALLS FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER.

                  THEY HAVE VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU CAN SAY A WORST SERVICE WE EVER HAD!

                  PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE MANNERS TO TALK WITH CUSTOMERS. THEY DO NOT PICK UP CALLS WHEN THEY KNOW THE SAME CUSTOMER IS CALLING AGAIN.

                  I CAN GIVE FEW NAMES MR. MUKESH, MR. BHAVESH, MR. PRASHANT. THEIR MANAGER MR. TUSHAR WHO IS SAYING IT NOT OF THEIR FAMILY MATTER THAT THEY CAN LOOK AFTER ALL CUSTOMERS AND PICK UP ALL CALLS OF CUSTOMERS.

                  BIG BAZAAR — Goods missing from package

                  I had been to Big Bazaar at Raghuleela, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. After I paid for my purchases and left the mall to return home to Marine Lines and upon opening the 3 packages, I found that one Colgate Total Toothpaste Tube priced at Rs. 80/- per piece, was missing. I tried the mall number printed on the Cash Memo, but nobody would take the call, inspite of calling over and over again for more than hour, and also at regular intervals of half an hour or so, until closing time. I even tried the help line number printed on the Cash Memo, but nobody would answer. Finally, just before the mall could close, somebody took the call, and asked me to come to the mall and show my purchase bill and collect the missing Toothpaste tube. However, I am not sure whether they will hand over the missing Toothpaste tube to me.

                    Dear Sir,

                    On Sunday, the 11th of April 2010, there was a contest held at the Big Bazaar ( Netaji Subhash Place - New Delhi) as it was its Anniversary, between 7-9 PM , That whichever customer has its highest Bill Value between that period and gets himself registered at the counter would get a Fridge as prize.

                    My bill value was Rs. 5198 and i got myself registered between that period. there was no other bill value higher than mine in the register, however the prize was given to someone whose bill value was Rs. 14000 +.
                    However, the same was not found in their register. They even could not prove to me that the billing for that customer was in between 7-9 pm of 11th of April.

                    The Refrigerator was given to that guy fraudulently. Request you to take immediate action against Big Bazaar, Netaji Subhash Place guys for such fraud to their customers.

                      We have been purchasing goods from HomeTown (Ishanya Pune).
                      1. Walldrope.
                      2. Modular Kitchen
                      3. Miscellaneous Items over 25K.

                      The worst service, we have received is on delivering the items on said date it has never happened, even after paying the full amount.

                      We made the final payment for Kitchen on 27th March, its almost been 2 and half weeks, we are in trouble, our food is being cooked in the balcony in all heat. As after they delivered the goods, for assembling it they sent a local carpenter who are just naive in modular concepts. They just know how to drill and tighten screws. The main problems were, misalignment, wrong fixtures, gaps, loose and improper fittings. We had to complaint every day for 5 times atleast, so that we have atleast one person to come and have a look at problems.

                      They promised anytime we face problem, a project manager would come to assist. It never happened, unless today we told them that we would file a case in Consumer Court. This post is mainly about people like who get in their glossy trap and find themselves in trouble later.

                      Home Town — Pathetic Service

                      I purchased a small size IQ10 Locker from Home Town (Marathalli Bangalore), Same day Sales Manager told me that very next day a person from Home Town will come and install Locker in my house. But no body turned up. I kept calling their Locker department but they simply keep the receiver down and go some where. Now the way sales manager (name Adwin) talks is horrible, it seems as he is doing a favour to me by talking to me.

                      I have never seen such a pathetic Service which Home Towns is delivering...

                        I had purchased furnitures from Big Bazaar Old Madras Rd Branch(Bangalore) on 16th March 2010 & had to pay the entire amount on the date of purchase.After the payment,I came to know that the delivery will happen on 26th March 2010.
                        Thereafter only one piece was delivered on 28th March & that too no fitter turned for fitting it.I still thought of giving them some grace time & on 4th April I went to their Old Madras Road store to enquire on same.I understood that there was no connect with the despatch team & sales team & that no one was aware of whether any fitter would ever arrive.
                        I kept on calling on the helpline nos given in the bill but everytime I called the phone was picked & then intentionally disconnected.
                        Finally the other piece got delivered on 8th of April & that too they didnt intimate me beforehand & thereby left the furniture outside my residence without getting the challan signed by me also.
                        Today is the 11th of April & I am still waiting for the fitter though I made several calls to all the helpline nos.
                        I have paid the money & after so much of running around,what I got are some heavy boxes,the contents of which are unknown to me & neither there is anyone to join the pieces to make it a proper furniture.
                        So is this how a brand like Big Bazaar treats its customer?
                        What I also observed is that whether it is the sales person,the cust service people or the delivery people,all the employees of Big Bazaar are least bothered of whether their products get sold or at customer satisfaction.
                        I would request the higher management team to take serious note of this as this will hamper their image in near future.
                        I would also advice other customers to refrain from purchasing products from Big Bazaar on account of their pathetic after sales service.

                          yesterday i purchased a SPLIT AC 5STAR 1.5 TON (HITACHI), from big bazar (KHARAGPUR), AMOUNT- R/S 35000/-, the sales person MR SAMBHUNATH of electronics department(BIG BAZAR), dealed with me and promised me that the INSTLATION of the product was free of cost for me, and after the payment within 12to18hrs, company representative will come to my house for the instalation.

                          but today at 7.00 p.m., i got a call from HITACHI CO. (KOLKATA), that if an amount of R/S 2500/- will not pe paid to them extra for instalation, then the will not come to my place to instal the AC.

                          geting this type of response from the company, according to the promise, i again called MR SAMBHUNATH (BIG BAZAR), but he didnt receve my call, an other representative picked my phone, an he denied of the promise(FREE INSTALATION), telling me that this is not possible for the at all, and MR SAMBHUNATH is not present their.
                          accorind to the circumstanties, one think i can only state that, no consumers should purchase any electronic products from BIG BAZAR, because they will cheat you like me, at the time of selling a product they will promise like me, an after the product is purchased, they will deney all the promises, which they have done to me.

                          BIG BAZAAR — Delivery much later after promised time, fitting delayed

                          I have bought one wardrobe and one shoe rack from Bigbazar, Metropolis mall on 21/11/2008. It was supposed to be delivered within seven days but it was delivered on 2/12/2008. Till 5 pm 5/12/2008 nobody turned up for fitting. I think bigdaddy of retail should understand what customer service is. How can I be compensated?

                          Hi,

                          A complaint of this sort seems to be a routine one on this forum. Yet am writing this coz I need to register my travails for patronising Big Bazaar. They are a bunch of cheats and thugs. Never believe their delivery commitments. It must be their business strategy to make money out of the interest they earn from the money consumers pay up front on purchases made at their stores by making very late deliveries. Inspite of having paid every single penny, I have been made to wait for over a week and the laughable reason given to me is the traffic conditions in Bangalore because of which the deliveries are being delayed !
                          I order 2 of the mattle beds on 26/01/2009 and 27/01/2008. Which one was promised to be delivered at 2nd of Feb 2009 and the other one on 4th of Feb 2009. The worst part is that it was a wedding gift and non of the beds are delivered till now. When called at the Store was told that it will take another 7 - 8 days.That is the knid of service...

                          Can you explain me that if you are not sure about anything why your outlet gays make fulse promises.
                          I need witten explaination for the same!!!

                            1. I have purchased a 22 inch Samsung LCD TV from jabalpur branch of Big Bazaar on 21 Mar 2010.
                            2. This TV had initial defect of power supply, where in the TV once switched off either by remote or by power button of the LCD the TV does not switch on again by any means and the power LED continues to blink continuously. The power button on the wall has to be switched off and then after about a period of about 20-25 min the TV can be swithed on again. At the time of purchase the electronic section of Big Bazaar assured me that if any problem was observed with the product I could exchange the product. This was a typical problem which could be detected only after getting the product home
                            3. on observing the defect I lodged a complaint with the Big Bazaar on 21 Mar 2010 itself and asked for replacement. However i was assured that there could be minor operational problem and the Samsung representative would visit me and resolve the problem during visit for Demonstration and fitting of wall mount.
                            4. I also lodged the complaint with Samsung on 21 mar 2010 with BP No. [protected]. Samsung representative turned up after five days however he stated that it was an initial defect.
                            5. I again approached the Big Bazaar outlet at Jabalpur and not getting adequate response I lodged tele complaint with Big Bazar customer care office at Mumbai on 27 mar 2010 with the ID of my mob no [protected]. Assurance of prompt response was given to me, however due to no fruitful results i again lodged the complaint with Mumbai office on 31 Mar 2010 with same Id.
                            6. May i request that the company be asked to replace the TV at the earliest.

                            we have purchase a dining table in dhantera from Big bazar - Ranchi, Jharkhand . In dhanteras we participate in lucky draw . My lucky draw ticket is draw on 14.11.2010 & i willbe got a laptop. But till date Big bazar have not given me laptop.
                            i already submit my id proof & blank chq.
                            Pls take necessary action.

                              PURCHASED BIG BAZAAR- INDER LOK, DELHI -110035

                              i purchased 1 pair of Sandle for my son from Big Bazaar on Sunday 21.03.2010. The rubber sole of the sandle torn off and broke on first wearing itself. The upper flap / cover of the sandle also came off as the broken sole could not hold it.
                              I took the broken sandle to the Big Bazaar for replacement within 3 days on 24.03.2010. The Store Manager, Mr. Amit Kumar (mobile [protected]) and customer care officer, Mr. Vijay (mobile [protected]) took the Sandle and told that for replacement they would need the approval of HO and asked me to leave the sandle with them and they will call to me in 2 days. I left the sandle and they gave me Big Bazaar Gate Pass no. 2085 dated 24.03.2010.

                              They did not call for next 4 days, So I called them on 28.04.2010. They told me that they will "REPAIR" the sandle and will not replace it.

                              This is totally wrong and example of poor service of BIG BAZAAR. Whenever you buy shoes or Sandle from any shop (like Bata, Liberty, Action,) you get minimum guarantee of 6 months. Breaking of Sole within 1 day on first wear is nothing but manufacturing defect and the product should be replaced. Repair is not the solution and it would be second hand product withing 2 days of buying. I request Big Bazaar Managment to look into this and get me replacement of torn off Sandle.

                              PURCHASED BIG BAZAAR- SAHARAGANJ LUCKNOW
                              i purchased LG Mobile handsets(GX200) from Big Bazaar on Thursday 14.10.2010. The Mobile Battery after charging 3-4hours, without talking they are switchoff .
                              I took the Mobile handsets with all accessories to the Big Bazaar for replacement within 2 days on 16.10.2010. and told for replacement to Mr Neeraj(Mob-[protected]& your seniors, they told to me that you are contact to LG Service Centre and take a dua letter, i am go to LG Service Centre at 3-4 Times, they have not provide dua letter.they have to changed Mobile Charger & Battery, but Problem not solved here.                                 respected sir/madam,
                                i am a resident of India staying in mumbai santacruz, few days back which is 21/02/2010i had bought food goods from food bazar-afuture value retail ltd bill no-t12/48005 in that i had bought a packet of roasted peanuts which is been manufactured by sun product wadala mumbai...it is an out dated or say expired the manufactured date of the peanuts is 28 nov 2009 and it is written on pack that it is best before two months ....it means that it is been expired on 28/01/2010 but still company was selling it now we have open he packet ....and i think now i have to see a doctor tooo..please take a strict action on this the product bar code no is[protected] it is worth 34 rupees.i am also attaching the photos of product ,bill..a strict action is awaited from your side.

                                  Every year Big Bazaar launches a scheme in which old items can be sold for get Exchange coupons. They show the scheme as lucrative as rates given for old items in kgs will be high. Whereas in actual teh scheme is only to cheat everybody.
                                  I wanted to buy a LCD TV in this scheme. The price that Big Bazaar is charging for KG/ Samsung TV are higher than market price by Rs 4990. Even if I redeem exchange coupons I land up paying Rs 2000 extra than market price.Such a difference is also there in Microwaves. The customers are being cheated in name of exchange scheme. Another example is in Food Bazaar. Dabur Chawanprash 2 kg is given in Big Bazaar at Rs 360. Whereas in market it is available at Rs 330. In the name of exchange scheme, Big Bazaar kacks up prices of all goods. Custoemrs loose their old items also, which can fetch some money at kabariwala.

                                  Big Bazaar should be competely banned in India. Consumer courts should look into the prices being offered by Big Bazaar in name of exchange scheme.

                                  i have purchased some item from big bazaar 4 month ego and got a discount coupon.... the discount coupon is rs 100 but when i visit the biz bazaar and show the coupon for discount they misbehave me and did not redeem the coupon..

                                    I visited the Big bazaar in mysore, there was a exchange offer, I wanted my cot to be exchanged, they asked me to give my address, the people would attend. But no one has come, I called to the shop, they say "today they will come, ur request is on, we will come". Its one week, when they come, exchange the cot, the offer will be not available. what is the use? The company should see that the customer requests are fullfilled in time.

                                      I had purchased two single beds from BIG BAZAAR , INDIRAPURAM ,GHAZIABAD , two months ago . Recently during shifting of my house i asked the BIG BAZAAR customer care to help me and they DID PROMISE to help in dismantling and again putting the bed together, in the new loaction . But after that neither did their man show up nor did the customer care called . After umpteen no. of follow-up calls , we still didn't get any help from them and we had to do the task by ourselves .
                                      BIG BAZAAR does not deliver what it promises and have left me very dissappointed.

                                        we brought a wardrobe and apollo tv trolly on 26 jan 2010 from Allahabad big bazar whic was deliverd on 19 feb 2010 and after giving reminders at least twice a day fitter has not come yet to install the both things. it is very disappoting and we suggest ALL INDIANS TO BE WE AWARE OF BIG BAZAR and to to buy product from there
