I agree with you Vinod. Yesterday I went for shopping at Big bazar Kota & they made 2 mistakes in the same bill.
1. quoted the rate of maize Rs. 36 per Kg instead of Rs. 18 per Kg.
2. Charged the price of tomato in stead of cauliflower (the diff. in the rate of Rs. 20 per Kg)
Moreover when I talked to customer desk representative at help desk, he said "aisi chhoti chhoti galtiyan to hoti rehti hain".
These people are trained to do mistakes & don't have any repent on their doings.
Totally fed up with those guys.

I have purchased one soccer ball @ rs 329 along with many other things and total bill amount was Rs.3537/-. i have duly paid the amount. But when i checked the item-wise details after return back at home, I have found that they have charged for two soccer balls instead of only one which i got with the other item.
I have called them (at Big Bazar Customer no.[protected] and tried to register the complaint. but their customer care team leader name Yogendra has refused to entertain this till the time I, in person, go their again and discussed this. As I live far away from that place and was visiting some relative there, it would cost me a full day time as well as Rs. 300-350 of petrol.
We don’t expect to receive such vague and rude response from a brand name like Big Bazar which claims to have all India presence and core connectivity of their service outlets. There omnipresence and fair & uniform service delivery is the distinguished characteristic which make us to go there for shopping. I thought this kind of mistake or I should word “cheating” must be highlighted…

I contact many times but no reply & no necessary action from you.
I had purchased a bed from Big Bazaar, Highland park(FUTURE VALUE RETAIL LTD)P.S.Jadavpur, kolkata-75 on 15th Aug. 2011. It was delivered within 10 Days, but while assembling, it came to notice that the rot iron bed was defective. So the assembling could not be done properly, and it laid in the corner of the room(unusable).

Since that day, we had been trying to contact the couple of numbers, provided for any assistance needed. But we are yet to receive any remedy from their side. They have been providing false promises and dates, whenever we give them a call. Sometimes they don't even bother to pick up the call. And what's most disappointing is, one of the number belongs to the Furniture department. your departmental staff has been the biggest liar during all our communications, and has been providing false promises. And notably, also threatened saying that, we are trying our best, and nothing would happen even if we try to speed up the process from our side by escalating it to higher authorities, or even go to the Consumer Forum.

I have made the full payment for the furniture as I needed it badly, and yet suffering to the whims of one of the employees of the so-called-esteemed brand.     I have purchased punching machine from Big Bazaar, Ludhiana on[protected]. However, I was shocked to see that this item was billed at Rs.62/- and the MRP of this item as printed on the packing of punching machine was Rs.56/-. On contacting the big bazaar official named Mr. Shalinder, he said that nothing could be done in this context and I am bound to pay the bill now. When I told him that this is not a good practice and being a consumer, I know my rights, he instead said that do what ever you like to do but you have to pay the bill. We paid the bill by cash and left with the rude behaviour of the big bazaar officials. Image attached for your reference.

      I purchased 8 items on 23rdDec 2010 from Big Bazaar (Future value retail LTD), Sector-III, Salt lake, Kolkata-700106 counter making a total of Rs.1039.00 which inadvertently got debited twice though BIg Bazar POS (POS # 178970 and 179005) via my SBI debit card (Card # 6620 [protected])
      On complaining the same on 10th Jan ,2011 via personal visit, the official at the Accounts deptt had confirmed that they are taking up the matter and the same would be resolved in next 7 days. They would also get the amount credited in my account which got wrongly debited.
      To my utter surprise, when I did not receive the money even after 7 days and when my wife called them up they refused to accept the call stating that they were very busy and they would get back in proper time which unfortunately never happened even after 4 -5 days
      The next time I had called them up on 22nd jan,2011 they told me that it was not possible for them to refund the money and i personally need to visit SBI, Park Street my home branch to get the money refunded.
      Sir, I too work in a Private Bank with lots of responsibilities on my shoulders and it is indeed not possible for me to leave the branch and visit SBI bank branch at odd hours.

      When I requested them for assistance they said it is not possible for them to assist me anymore as lots of similar cases are also pending for months
      Though, i have received the money on the intervention of one of SbI offiicial who is also my relative, but the callousness of the Big bazar staff can't simply be forgiven.
      Requesting the concerned authority to take action against such harrashments to the consumers by the reckless staffs of Big Bazar Salt lake Sector III.

        So purchasing of these item i got around 36 gift coupn under the schme of " SWAGATAM NAYE KA ". after purchasing when i asked how i got the gift against these 36 gift coupn then they told me now at present i have not any gift , but we will contact you when gift will come , sir now today is 25 jan 2011 , and still i am waiting for big bazzar phone , what is this ? i dont understand why big baazar create problem and if they not provide any gift items then simply say no, so i need some positive response from your side.

          i went to big bazar on[protected]sunday) seeing there offer of "sabse saste 5 din"
          but they did a great fraud on the billing procedure they gave me fraud bill ...
          means the offer written on the stall were not applicable they were just to fool the customers and when we went for billing they did not took most of the offers and made a huge bill..
          when i reached home i saw the bill and found a fraud of rs.2000/= out of bill of 9000/= and i was shocked so i went to big bazar again on[protected] to get it checked,on the first see the manager denied the claims but then when we gave them proofs by getting their own staff and by showing them the schems they agreed for very less and gave us just rs.500/=
          the strategy of big bazar is they change the offer regularly in diferent days so that the offer once given on one product could not be claimed for eg. we took biscuits of PRIYAGOLD on offer of 1 on 1 but next day on monday they switched the offer to DUKES biscuit so they said that their was no offer on priyagold biscuit but then we got it clarified from their staff and they denied it then also

          for all this i asked for them for a written apology but their manger deneid giving it and i said him to give me in writing that he will not write an apology and he wrote it with his signature that he will not write an apology
          this is not a case with us only this same case
          is with many other customers as we saw on the customer desk ......
          we want strict actions and compensation, we want u to raise the voice of customer

          I visited big bazaar on Sunday 25th oct 20 and got billed for 6754 I felt it very high bcOz what we bought were few stuffs coming home I checked the bill which had price inflated eg :- I got 650 ml Head shoulder of Mrp 550 which was charged 600 50 rs more than Mrp as well as things on offer had no discounts

          If you don’t check your bill it’s high time to get allerted as small things matters much i have posted the pic with red mark star do check

            This is regarding my suit purchse in mentioned Central Mall at Thane Ghodbunder on16th jan 2011. After purchse the same suit were given for alteration and we were asked to come and collect it on 18th Jan. when i went to collect that on 23rd jan it was misaltered by them putting this onn tailoring fault asked us to get other replacement as there is no another same suit in the outlet. they offered to take money back but here why i should suffer for their mistake after purchasing and payinf full money and hoping to get it on said date it comes ouit to be losing on my side. I asked them for the compensation for my Time and Money i invested with purchse they said its not a practice to compensate in retail business. My question here is if Late duty, Penalties are applicable for all business transcaction then why not here?... Please take this issue forward...and teach this retailors lessen to remember

              PLEASE DO NOT GET FOOLED BY THE LATEST ADS AND OFFERS BY THESE PEOPLE.THE SHOWER PANEL (DYNA SHOWER PANEL) ADVERTISED IN THEIR MOST RECENT AD WAS BOOKED BY US RECENTLY IN THE 25000 PACKAGE BATHROOM AND WHEN WE ASKED FOR OUR DELIVERY THEY TOLD US IT IS NOT AVAILABLE AND SINCE IT IS AN IMPORTED ITEM THEY DONT KNOW WHEN THE SUPPLIER WOULD GET MORE.HENCE MADE US CHOOSE SOME OTHER ONE WHICH WAS OBVIOUSLY MORE EXPENSIVE COS DYNA PANEL IS THE CHEAPEST. IMMEDIATELY AFTER BOOKING THE NEW PANEL THE NEXT DAY WE SEE THE AD IN THE PAPERS THAT THEY R GIVIN A SHOWER ENCLOSURE FREE WIT THE DYNA PANEL.cheats I TELL YOU.INSPITE OF BOOKING 2 PANELS THEY HAVE SENT US 1 OUR DELIVERY WAS AT THANE WEST BUT THEY COME WITH THE THINGS TO OUR BILLING ADDRESS IN POWAI.WHAT CO ORDINATION. SAVE YOUSELVES WHILE YOU CAN FROM THESE CON MEN.LOTS MORE TO TELL.BUT THESE GUYS HAV TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON.                 Hi all disgruntled Home Town customers,

                I am a frequent visitor to Home town, kolkata. I was contemplating buying some furniture from Home Town, but after reading the posts have decided otherwise.
                I may add that I too have had some unsavoury experience at Home Town recently. My wife had bought a kitchen accessory. While checking out we were billed an amount which turned out to be greater than the amount printed on the tag attached to the purchased item. What was inexplicable was the fact that the serial number (printed with the bar code) in the tag matched entirely with the number printed in the bill ! The hapless salesman at the check out counter was of little help and we had no option but to leave in a huff!!
                Having said that, I may add that we do visit Home Town once a month and do enjoy the experience of shopping for our little needs. It just needs to be more professional, not only in its outlook ( which it already is) but also inside.

                I would advice customer NOT TO BUY PRODUCT FROM HOME TOWN, KOLKATA. They are the biggest cheater in Kolkata. I have ordered a dinning table under Advance Receipt No: [protected] dt. 28/08/2011 which was supposed to deliver within 3 days. Right now it is more than 20 days and there is no sign of delivery or status report from their end. We have tired of calling again and again. As per my last correspondance, they asked me to send email at ht.[protected]@futuregroup.co.in requesting for refund. Now they guys are kept neglecting my email and not ready to provide the refund against non-delivery of product.

                HOW CAN SUCH A BIGGEST CHEATER SURVIVE ?? I AM REALLY SHOCKED TO SEE SUCH PATHETIC SERVICE FROM FUTUREGROUP.

                  I have purchase some kitchen product from Big Bazar, Sahara mall, Gurgaon for Rs.2883.71 on dt .09.01.2011 vide Till no.17, receipt no . 0155869, Tr:-6097 and payment made thr IDBI Debit card but my payment is double deduct from my account.
                  Regarding this i have repeatly call to Big Bagar but no action till now
                  On 19 March 2011, I have visited Big Bazaar at Sahara Mall.
                  The behaviour of the staff is very rude. They neither help in telling the goods nor on billing counter.

                  On Vegetable counter, they have mentioned wrong barcode and after standing and waiting for 20 min in que they ask consumer either one has to surrender the selected product or stand there itself as the billing guy is not interested in replacing the good with correct barcode.

                  Disappoininting Experience.

                      I purchased an almirah from [protected]@wazirpur, delhi on Dec 26 2010 but till date it hasn't been delivered to my address as promised. The concerned executive Satish Mishra has been disconnecting my calls. Today, when my husband tried calling him, he never picked it up. Such bad is the state of affairs at BigBazaar that the center contact number also was found to be busy all the time. That's just not possible. There is no one to monitor and control things - it appears.

                      To add insult to injury, no one picked up the calls at BigBazaar's toll free number. When we called up the Futurebazaar number, one gentleman picked up but he wasn't willing to share any manager's mobile number with us.
                      Pathetic, simply pathetic.

                        I recently make a transaction to FutureBazaar on 29th December 2010. The transaction get failed three times. I immediately called and reported, they said they will refund the amount. and I asked for the two times refund me and for the remaining send me the product..
                        They said ok, but it will take some time.. but still now there is no refund. I called them and mailed regularly but they said we are working and tracing the transaction.
                        But finally, they said that the amount has not been credit to FB account, so please contact the Bank.

                        My Order number is : [protected] and for this, I have given them my transaction reference number. At the same time i have send a mail to Bank and CC avenues today.

                        Could anyone suggest me what can I do in this situation.? If this happen how we will trust the Futurebazaar and Bank to purchase online..?

                        Herewith I have attached the transaction account statement from my Bank.

                        I am sorry to inform that the said order is not successfully captured in our records due to a rare error at the payment gateway. However the payment against the said order has been received twice at our end.

                        As per your earlier conversation with our customer support team I understand that the amount for two transactions has been received at your end.

                        Further, to our discussion, I understand that the amount for the said order has been charged three times on your bank statement. I hence have forwarded your bank statement to our banking partners to refund the amount for the third transaction. Let me confirm that the same has been refunded by the bank on 13.01.2011 and the refund amount will reflect in your forthcoming bank statement.

                        I understand that the recent experience you had is really unfortunate as you were unable to place an order however the amount for the same was charged thrice to you account.                           I have purchased Samsung 3D Led from Home Town, Ishanya mall pune. receipt no [protected] on 5/12/2010 worth rs.1,30,000/-.
                          With this model there was free gift woth rs. 53,450/- which includes -
                          1) 3D BD Player C6900 worth rs. 30,000/-
                          2) 3 glasses worth rs. 14,700/-r
                          3) 3D titles worth rs. 3,000/-
                          4) wireless LAN adapter worth rs. 5,000/-
                          5) 1 HDMI cable worth rs. 750/-

                          Now its 1month but i received only 3glasses and 1 title from above list.

                          When i am contacting home town, they says samsung company is not yet delivered the gifts and when I am contacting samsung customer care they are saying contact dealer where you have purchased.

                          I have also raised customer support from sumsung online and got reply that "We are forwarding your complaint to the concerned department. Soon you will be contacted by concerned authority."
                          and still no body contacted. I dont know where is the problem?

                          I am helpless and dont understand what suppose to do with this issue. Please suggest.

                            I’ve purchased travel bag of Milestone brand at Big Bazar Kothrud, Pune vide bill No. T20/4700 on Dec 26, 2010. The handle of bag broken just after 3 days, fitment of handle was looking completely a manufacturing defect (workmanship problem). I visited Big Bazar, Kothrud on 09/01/2011with defective bag & for my surprise when I tried to show the same to the customer care & store’s person, nobody was in mood to hear me & trying to stress that it was completely my mistake (that I've purposely damadge the bag) & they’ll send this bag to service centre, repair & return it to me.

                            Firstly it is completely a manufacturing defect. After spending worth Rs. 1500/- on a small travel bag any customer will expect to get good life for the same & bag is broken within 2 days & getting repaired bag after spending such huge amount is really very bad experience.

                            I just bought a Milestone Shell 75 cm yesterday from Big Bazar at Raghulella mall at Vashii. It has a warranty period for 1 year. I want to register the purchase as the manufacturing date is Oct'2012. Where do I register?

                              I had purchased a sofa set from hometown rajarhat 7-8 months back .I booked with them the sofa set with right arm,but got the delivery of sofa set with left arm. After receiving the wrong assignment i complained at hometown and the attendent told me that he will check things out with the godown person and will get back to me.
                              After waiting for 15 days for his revert i called up again and this time the person confirmed me that right sofa is not in godown and he will exchange it once the fresh stock will arrive. After waiting for appx. one and a half month i called up again .This time someone new who didnt have any idea about my case responded and gave me the mobile number of the godown person. When i called up at the godown they said they dont know any thing and i need to contact the back office.This process took 6-7 months and there was no action taken by them. Finally i called up 10 days back and someone named bhowmik took the initiative and responded me with details. According to him, there were no records of my previous calls. After the conversation he send a fitter to my house to verify things. He admitted that wrong assingment was delivered and told us that he will give a report. After that i received a call from home town that the fitter has reported them that the right assignment was delivered and they cannot do any thing. Tell me is it my mistake if your fitter admits one thing and reports something else.
                              I have to admit that the overall service extended to me by Home Town (New Town, Kolkata) has been pathetic and highly unsatisfactory. I have been complaining and escalating the issue at regular interval, but things are really getting worse and unbearable for me. I have never seen/heard about such case. It has been most annoying and frustrating shopping experience for me.

                              Now what should i do with that sofa, Tell me is it my mistake that i have purchased a sofa from hometown.I am a regular purchaser of hometown,e-zone,pantaloons. Moreover i am also a 7-star member of Pantaloon. This is the kind of response i get from Future Group which is not at all expected. Will i get my right sofa set or not?

                                  they dont update their systems for many offers and charge us higher rates.... i myself had suffered many times. As i am Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist, i cant afford to waste my time on these small things so i am planning to sue them in consumer court because earlier also this had happened several times and they had returned back the extra money they charged. but i had to waste lot of my time, petrol & parking money for my car. e.g i am enclosing reciept of my purchase from big bazar (sahara ganj, lucknow) on 25/12/2010 in which they had charged Rs 270 for 10 kg golden harvest atta but they had displayed the rate of Rs 199 for that.....

                                    We purchased furniture worth around 40,000 rupees from Big Bazaar located in old madras road, Bangalore on 28-Nov-2010. The bill number is [protected]. We purchased a sofa set, a computer chair and a computer table. We were promised delivery of the goods within 14 days of purchase. We didn't get any of the items delivered to us within this period. On repeated reminders to them, we finally got the computer chair and computer table delivered to us. But the sofa set is yet to arrive (today is 26-Dec-2010) and we are completely frustrated about our experience with Big Bazaar. How can they take us for a ride like this? Isn't big-bazaar a wannabe Wal-Mart?

                                    There is one Mr. Kumar who keeps promising us that the delivery will happen in the next few days or the next week. He is an elusive character who says he will call us back and confirm the delivery date but never keeps his word. We always have to call him and "chase him" to commit a date. Last week, he told me that we would get the sofa set by 26th. I warned him sternly that either he should keep his word and deliver by 26th or refund our money. He agreed to refund if not delivered by 26th. Now, here i am on 26th and when we called big bazaar number given to us[protected], i am told that he has gone on a leave for Christmas. Then a person named Arun told us that he will check in the store department and get back in 15 minutes. But it has been several hours now and still no response from them.

                                    Why did Mr. Kumar give 26th as the date when he himself would be out of office? When will we get our furniture? What kind of service is this? Why does big bazaar employ such chameleons (i.e. kumar)?

                                    this is a complaint against Big Bazar(old madras road bangalore) who has not yet delivered the Dish Tv which i had purchased on 17th of August 2008. neither has they ever gave me any call regarding the reason for delay and whenever i go and visit that branch personally they say that they are out of stock.

                                        We Placed an order for Modular Kitchen dated 29th August 2010. With Advance receipt no. # [protected] at 1534 hrs.

                                        Even after approximately 4 months the complete modular kitchen is yet to be supplied. PArtly supplied material of the Kitchen is lying spread all over my house. Installationb was started but left incomplete as the installation persons informed that the material is incomplete.

                                        We have registered this complaint & have been endlessely following up with Mrs Jayshree who is Manager of concern department at Home town located at Ishanaya Mall at Pune.

                                        She always puts the blame on their supplier & promises that this will be resolved in one week.

                                        Its has been four months and there is no solution still.
                                        We have already made a payment of Rs 140000 ( One lac fourty thousand to Home town for this order but the purchased goods have still nbot been supplied properly. I have a signed contract from Home town with me which had promised delivery in three weeks.
                                        I now want home town to refund my money with penality. Kindly suggest me a forward path.
