I was purchased a Home Theater (Koryo KHT 7000) from Big Bazaar on 15th Aug 2010
Now it is giving bad quality of sound.
So I contacted to the Big Bazaar they suggested me to bring a Home Theater at Big Bazaar. I had given the Home Theater at Big Bazaar on 24th Nov 2010. But till date (16th Dec 2010) it was not repaired. Then I was contacted to Koryo customer care on toll free no.[protected] . They told me that it was done by their Engineer.
But still it was not repaired. The customer care of the Big Bazaar said that it was pending for the part. This will be come from Bangalore. I heard this thing from last 20 Days. This is Very Bad experience of Big Bazaar’s service.

My product related details are as follows.

but no any solution till time. pls help me

    Never though I will have to deal with such a cheat and unprofessional company. I had placed an order for a Modular Kitchen and paid full money as they demanded (Home Town policy of full payment for them to order fittings and parts). Somehow they could complete the basic setup but due to supply of improper pieces the work was incomplete. This was month of July 2010. They said will get proper parts in 30 days time and finish it. Its nearly 6 months over and after repeated requestes they just ignored the remaining work. Never bothers to call back even after messages are left and everytime someone picks up says has no idea of the status. Bunch of liars and cheats. I am out of town on work and it has become a challange to get the work done. Can someone help me with phone numbers of Home Town Senior Management in Kolkata or their HQ. Need to have a friendly chat with them. Also need guidance to take them to Consumer Court.

    I would advice customer NOT TO BUY PRODUCT FROM HOME TOWN, KOLKATA. They are the biggest cheater in Kolkata. I have ordered a dinning table under Advance Receipt No: [protected] dt. 28/08/2011 which was supposed to deliver within 3 days. Right now it is more than 20 days and there is no sign of delivery or status report from their end. We have tired of calling again and again. As per my last correspondance, they asked me to send email at ht.[protected]@futuregroup.co.in requesting for refund. Now they guys are kept neglecting my email and not ready to provide the refund against non-delivery of product.

    HOW CAN SUCH A BIGGEST CHEATER SURVIVE ?? I AM REALLY SHOCKED TO SEE SUCH PATHETIC SERVICE FROM FUTUREGROUP.
    We have purchased a sofa set from bhawanipore . They have told to deliver it on 30th Jan but after making call and confirmation they are not come on time . They come on 1st feb, while we have told them that delivery address is a resort and we will not available there at all the time Because that is 25km away from the city . It's Vedic village. But after making delivery the fitting person has came on 3rd and when he open the cartoon he saw that the sofa is defective both the armrest is broken. Again they told met at they will change it within two or three days but still there is no information from there side. I don't know to whom I make contact .       Hi, i would like to register complaint against BIG BAZAAR STORE(WEST GATE MALL,SHIVAJI PLACE, RAJOURI GARDEN, NEW DELHI-27). we bought some goods like soap,shampoo,biscuits and all from this big bazaar store on[protected]. we bought a pack of six soaps(VIVEL SOAP) on which the offer was six soaps for Rs.99 only. Its printed on the cover of the soap that 6 sopas are for Rs.99 only. but in the billing they have charged Rs.132 for the soaps pack of six. we didn't check that time as other customers were waiting in the queue to get their billing done..so in a hurry we just payed the bill.its later we checked at home that they have charged wrong.i just wanna bring into the notice that this is totally not acceptable. its like you are fooling your customers just because they do the billing process in a hurry that doesn't mean they gonna charge high than the actual price. during the billing process the cashiers were chatting on useless stuff instead of concentrating on their work. i am totally hurt by this nonsense..i will never buy any goods now from these places and will ask my other relatives and friends to do the same as these people just fool their customers and know how to loot the customers well.i want you to look into this matter and take some action as soon as possible..i have the bill with me as a proof..and so is the soap packet..
      Even i faced the same problem. Last saturday i purchased groceries from BIG BAZAAR, Ghatkopar, Mumbai for Rs. 1750. When i reached the home, i checked the prices printed on bill and items. I was shocked to see that they have charged Rs 332 for two packets Taj Mahal tea - 200 gm, however the MRP is only Rs. 75 for one. The amount to be charge should be 150 instead of 332. Please check and help me.

        Respected sir,
        This complain is about Big Bazaar landmark building sitabuldi outlet Nagpur. I purchased washing machine on dated 16th Nov 2010 and in spite of telling the counter girl at billing section she had used my SBI credit card twice that results in double payment for the one product. the washing machine cost of 6850/- debited from my SBI credit card account twice. i had been to the customer care department 8 times and every time they gave me excuses that "they will call me back and sometimes that head clerk is on vacation and sometimes in next one hour they will solve my problem" but so far nobody has done anything about solving my problem and everything i travel 12 kilometer from my house to sitabuldi land mark big bazaar.i have shown them my bills and my bank statement to executive their in customer care department they agree for the mistake but no body wants to take responsibility saying that money cannot be refunded by them and i have to solve this matter all by myself with the bank. i have also written 8 mails to Big Bazaar customer care department and they have sent me mail that my complaint case No 9566 is register and for every mail they have same reply that "they will concerns to the correct authority & get back to you shortly."My written complain and related document like Bank statement is also not accepted when I met them last time
        In next one week i have to go outstation for long duration for official as well as for personal reasons, so kindly look into the matter and gave me justice for all my suffering and pain caused by Big Bazaar Nagpur.

        BIG BAZAAR — charging thrise for the payment

        sir on 21/12/09 I had made the purchase of RS 1950/- and that has been charged thrise from my STATE BANK CASH card and when I reported the matter he promised me of getting its refund by a week but no refund has come and when I inquired of again they demanded more of a week time again .Till now the amount has not come to me . This the case of the big bazar at KOTA

        BIG BAZAAR — Bill Charge Twice of Product

        I have purchase SIL Mix Jam Rs.87/- from Big Bazar, Kandivali on date 17/10/2010 bill no.0014097. On that date offer is Purchase 1 SIL Mix Jam 1 is absolutely free. But when my bill made they charged me 2 of them when I am come at home & check. Also attached scan copy of bill.

          i paid for a mattress and cot from big bazaar on 30/11/2010.they promised to deliver it free of cost in 2 days.Today being 8/12/2010 i have not got the product yet inspite of around 30 calls made to the shop.each time they say excuses like they have no vehicle,there is rain etc and they keep saying everyday that the delivery is on the way.i paid through my credit card which is adding 2 % interest to the price i paid.I would like to atleast get my money back with interest!!

          MRP was marked Rs 599 and the discount price was around 250 or 299 but i was charged only MRP rate and not the discount rate . Kindly offer the discount price and convey what procedure is to be done

            I have purchased a kitchen unit from Home Town, Kolkata around a year back, but from day one I am facing problem. firstly a part of the unit was delivered to me in a damaged condition but till date the same has not been replaced, although I am getting regular commitment from your so called efficient executives Mr. Amit & Ms. Jayeta.
            Secondly, there is a continues problem with the unit below the sink, since it has not been fixed properly the entire frame work is coming out an a regular basis, this is second time I am lodging complaining on this subject, the entire frame of the under the sink unit has come out and is hanging. One person had visitied a week ago and said that since he is not carrying araldite he will come the next day, but till date he has not turned up. As an usual practice Jayeta & Amit are just giving false hopes that some one will shortly visit, but who is that someone still remains unanswered.
            This is really disheartening to see a organisation of such repute is not paying any heeds to customers grievance, having such irresponsible employees who does not understand the importance of making commitments. I think I have done a mistake of my lifetime by making a deal with your company, because what is visible to the eyes is just a facade, you are their just to sell and not to service, if that is what your business is, let the customer know upfront. I would like to know in writing from your end by what date the problem will be resolved, failing which I would be compelled to go the consumer forum to register my grievance.

            The customer above had complained on 7th Dec, which seems to have been resolved around feb 18th and then 'completely resolved' around Mar 22nd ... hmmmm that does not really encouraging for any prospective customer reading this.

            The abovesaid complaint was reported in Dec and was solved in Jan (as mentioned in our reply dated 18th Feb). You must be aware that the modular furniture takes 15 to 20 days of manufacturing, plus the transit time. Another problem reported later took similar lead time.

            Hi All,

            I am planning to buy a modular kitchen ( worth 1 Lkh ) from Home Town (kolkata Mani Square)..Reading the comments I am really in a dilemma whether to go for it or drop the idea...

            Can anyone please advise whether the present Home Town service is dependable ??? And what about the quality of their product?? Will it be worth the investment?? Any good things about Home Town..I have only seen Negative comments..

              We have had 2 very bad experiences with the Hometown Store. We happened to place orders for Bathroom tiles and Dining Table on the same day sometime around mid July'2010. However- we were terribly disappointed on both the fronts
              1. The tiles (from Kajaria) that we had ordered were not delivered on the time as promised. When the delivery was finally made- the tiles belonged to 2 separate lots which meant that some of the tiles in our bathroom looked different from the rest of the tiles. Given the fact that I had gone for a complete refurbishment of my Bathroom, it came as a BIG disappointment that the newer design only looks like a compromise.
              We tried following up on the matter and even brought the matter to the India Customer Care Head (Ms. Vaishali Thakkar). However- we were in for a rude shock, when instead of paying heed to the Customer complaints- she communicated with us in a hostile and discourteous manner. Since we had also ordered for a Dining Table from Hometown- we just got an assurance that the same mistakes won't be repeated the next time.
              2. However- our miseries did not end at that. The Dining Table we had ordered in July did not get delivered even in October. In the meantime- there was absolutely NO communication from the Store on the Delivery Status of the order. On following up with the Store (finally in October 2nd week)- we were told that the 1st Dining Table was rejected in the Quality Check and a fresh piece would be delivered to us in a week's time. What was really unprofessional was the fact that the Store did not take any initiative in informing us the Status on the Dining Table all this time and we had to reach out to inquire on the status of Delivery. When-even after 10 days there were no signs of Delivery, we finally followed up with the Store. We were told that the 2nd lot was also rejected during the Quality Audit and that the Table would no longer be available. This was the pinnacle of callousness that could be displayed by a Store that has its parentage in one of the most-respected Business Groups in India (Future Group). On finally visiting the store and asking for a compensation- we were told that we could go in for a refund of the purchase price. In the last 5 months- we had not only lost interest on the amount to the tune of INR 35K, but also lost out on the Offer Price that we had ordered the table at. By the way- I am writing this review in December and we have still not received the Compensation. If this is not larceny in broad day-light, I can't think of a better term.

              These 2 incidents have left me utterly disillusioned with Hometown and I would desist from visiting the Store EVER. I would not recommend any right-minded individual to fall for the Marketing gimmicks employed by the Store and duping Customers on the pretexts of the Future Group Brand name.

                I Sudhakar Jha booked Dining Table Set on 01.11.2010 from Big Bazar Jamshedpur for Rs. 16000/ ,one recliner chair was offred free as per scheme,the table was delivered on 9.11.2010 but recliner not delivered till date.The chair provided with dining table is defective I have complained about the same to big bazar official for both non delivery of free recliner as per scheme and defect of chairs.
                But despite several reminder I am yet to receive recliner and defective chairs also not rectified.

                my neighbour purchased study table from big bazaar, visakhapatnam 3 months back and the same was delivered on the next day and assembled by themselves only and it is fine.

                  During Diwali festival, Big Bazaar launched a scheme called "Swagatam Naye Ka"; offer was to shop & collect 1 diya sticker for every purchase of Rs. 250. Stickers to be reedeemed for the gift items between 1st Nov to 7th Nov. I shopped there for almost Rs 15,000/- & collected about 50 stickers. On 4th November I went for reddeming the sticker to get some items on special priced, but due to rush.. customer service girl requested me to come on 7th November. Then I again went to Big Bazaar Kalyani Nagar on 7th November... this time customer service girl told me that they are out of stock & it will be refilled in couple of days. She asked me to register my Name, mobile no & total number of sticker. She assured me a call back in 2 to 3 days.Till 25th November nobody called me from Big Bazaar Kalyani Nagar. Same evening I called up their land line number & spoke to the customer service executive Nagesh. He simply told me that they tried to call me but that was wrong number! On the other hand I asked him about what number they tried? he replied [protected]... it was the same & RIGHT number which was registered with them & from same number I made calls to them. After 10 mins I recieved a apology call that it was their mistake & they shall get back to me in 24 hrs. Today is 29th Nov...more than 100 hrs but nobody called me from Big Bazaar Kalyani Nagar. It was purely a cheating & Big Bazaar is fooling customers by giving fake offers & customer service is too bad.

                      I bought a Proton bed from Big bazaar Thane outlet at lake city mall, Kapurbawdi and it was delivered but i have been calling for its assembly. No one pick up the number[protected] and the number[protected] is constantly engaged. The customer care listed under Big bazaar website is supposed to be only for future bazaar customers not big bazaar customer according to the person who answered the phone.

                      Big Bazaar under the name of giving QUALITY ?????products at an economical rate, cheat the customer by inflated billing of certain items by rotation (as I have experienced the same in weekly purchases over last 16 weeks) and each every time i have to fight with billing clerk and get the reimbursement of excess billing amount.) Recently they lured the customers to join customer loyalty program called "PAYBACK" which is a co branded card with "BIG BAZAAR", which is nothing but "BIG CHEATING BAZAAR CARD", as the points for purchase value made so far will never get added to member's card. There is a concerted effort to cheat and loot the public by announcing various offers under the name of free and other sweet advertisements by this BIG CHOR BAZAAR. Consumers beware. Don't get fooled by their advertisements, by making your foot prints in any of their group outlets too.

                        We have purchased a SofaSet and Center Table with Order no. [protected] and Invoice no.[protected], Date :[protected]

                        After 2-3 Months sofa got problem and bend from one side and i hv logged the an complaint and it takes a long time to resolve it but unfortunatly it is not resolved fully.

                        then on 06-nov-10, i have logged another conplaint (no. 158966) for color of sofa cloth get fad and springs get loose but as on today 17-nov-10 no one visited my place , when ever call custoner care[protected] different people are saying mechenic will be there today/tommorow

                        But no luck...

                        I am not sure why such big brand (HOMETOWN) selling such BAD things which got problems withen few months itself and top of that post sale service is very-2 bad

                          We have deposited around 19600/- aginst receipt No. [protected] to Home Town for one dinning table set & Almirah. Home Town after lot of follow up have neither supplied the material nor returned the money. I do not understand why mr Kishor Biyani is so munch intrested in unfair trade practice and making customers fool after getting money in advance.

                          Home Town ,Noida — Non delivery of products on committed date

                          My receipt No. is [protected] and I had paid the entire amount by cheque of approx. Rs. 20,000/- for purchasing a dining table and a book reck the same day. Because of non availability and their other products which they mentioned as out of stock products we accepted to purchase one model, which was more expensive to other products being liked by us . But for the product we paid was supposed to be delivered on 2nd Nov. that is before Diwali. We decided to buy the same as it was to be delivered before Diwali.

                          But now on continuous calling to home town the last day of delivery , they had mentioned saying sorry that the stock is not yet received so the same will be delivered after some days.

                          We would request that looking to the charm of festive season, inspite of committment from them to deliver on 2nd they have not been able to do so.

                          This is to our surprise that so big a chain is not keeping their promise.The charm of festive season is totally lost and we feel that we have put our money in wrong place. Looking at today's competitive market it would have been better to buy from some other place.

                            Its More than 2 months and even after paying the full amount to HomeTown, Marathalli Branch, Banaglore - they have not completed the Kitchen work as they gave wrong delivery of the items.

                            Really very bad administration , very bad customer service and no one responds to our complaints.

                              my self dhruv from mumbai maharashtra. visted one of FUTURE GROUP R MALL SHOP EAT AND CELEBRATE ! CENTRAL MALL AT GHORBUNDER ROAD THANE on 1 november 2010 at 8.00 pm at evening time. with my one of female friend after when we were coming out we been told forcefully stay back and they took us in thier cyber room on second floor of mall at 9.30 pm by security guard and told us to cooperate with them. and started checking purse of my female friend. and alliged us of stealing cufling pens jeans tshirts and others stuff etc. after finding noting they asked us to pay which according to them we steal from thire mall. and threat us very badly, started offensive behaviour with both o[censored]s. they even threat us about police we were continously requesting to calll police but instead of calling police they locked us in thier cyber room and ask to pay 6000 Rs. at that time we refused and ask to call police instead of calling police they called antisocial elements and some security guards who started verbal harassment with us and suddenely asked us for 9000
                              when we provoked. and said by ourslef to go to police. and also ask them if the have noted anything about us on thire security camera about us then they stated doing arrgument and at that time manager himself said to take us to out of mall and beat us. then aroud 12 guards started beating us. we both has got many serious inury and lost our many valuble things like diamoand earings and myself i lost around 6000 indrupee in that offensive behaviour. by god gress ne of MNS maharashtra nav nirman seva karya karta was passing from thiere mr suresh kotle with his family. who helped us and took us to police and addmited around 11.30 in thane civil hospital myslef i got 7 stiches in my head and and my female friends also got some serious injury. this is really bad behiviour hapen with us i was addmited 2days in hspital we going we have already gave our FIR but the got bell now we are planing for case against future groups and staff manager of central mall thane which should be noted by every people visted in any mall i would like to others to shares such incidence with them.any if anyone here to help us and listen our problem and can guide usmy contact number is [protected]

                              This is to let you know that the Thane Rmall at Godhbunder road is slowly loosing many customers

                              The major reason is that there is no rickshaws that come to or from this place
                              They stop and refuse to go anywhere but the station and I am very sure that your cooperate plan was to attract the customers from around the location

                              I complained to the local RTO and cops and they have comeback saying that since there is no rickshaw stand and hence they can’t set any enquiry

                              The only way to get a stand is for the mall to contact the rickshaw association

                              I don’t know if you are the correct team to pick this up if not please send it to someone

                              I was there this Saturday and a women with her shopping bags from More and a little baby in her other arms was drenched in the rain and trying very hard to haul a rickshaw

                              She was women from a good family, there to enjoy shopping in your mall and in the end was on the verge of crying

                              I dropped her in my car but thought as a small ANNA in me, let me atleast try
                              Dear Team,

                              I Yatin Rane had visited your Thane Ghodbunder Road Outlet (RMALL) on 01st of April 2012 at around 3:00-3:30pm

                              I selected a pair of shoes (Red Tape) amounting to Rs 2450/-

                              I found the same to be of a smaller size than required, however I was convinced by the Sales Representative that the same would be ok and if not comfortable with, the said pair of shoes can be returned back.

                              However on reaching home it has come to my notice that the pair of shoes are either used ones or not in a good position because of regular trying done by different customers at the outlet (Specially looking at the sole of the shoes)

                              Since I have been given the assurance from the representative that in case not convinced with I would be able to replace the same.

                              Request you to kindly help me in the said case.

                              I am OK to purchase some other Shoes of the same amount but I need this pair of shoes replaced.

                                Wrong Transerction done Twice on 15 Aug 2010 by Jatin Panchal
                                I called up 122 time to their Account and Finance executive (Anish/Vipul/Ravi...etc), They try to make me fool and give me answer we will revert to you as soon as possible.. but still today is 3rd Nov 2010 i not able to get my money in my account. Also I submitted claim in Bank of India for reumbersement of my amount but they refused due to Big Bazaar mistake. They still not clear about their Transaction.

                                    I have purchased HomeTown Wardrobe on 30th Oct (#[protected]) which was delivered in packed condition on 2st Nov. Today i.e.3rd Nov- Installation person has visited our home but when he unpacked the piece it was found that entire hardware packet was missing and base panel was broken.
                                    It shows very poor quality control of Hometown also when compaint about the same was registered, it took us multiple calls at call center and person at call center was not aware of procedure to follow and could not assure us about replacement/ delivery of hardware. Installation person was also not aware of the process to complaint and what to do next.
                                    Now we are in the situation that we do not know what to do and Hometown call centre does not know what is going to happen and when it would replaced / installed.
                                    Very Poor service from Hometown!

                                      Today I had been to the Fatima Nagar Store of Big Bazaar as the Digital Camera of Olympus I bought from them few months back was not functioning properly. To my surprise I realised that the sales staff over there is only interested in meeting their sales targets. Once the product is sold they are least bothered about the after sales service. I had lost the bill of the camera and requested the staff over there in the Electronics Department to give me a duplicate bill so that I can go to the service centre of Olympus and get the camera repaired from there. To this the sales staff told me he cant issue me a duplicate bill. After I insisted why he cant, he started arguing with me. He even started fighting with me and told me that I should go an talk to the customer service department. When I went to the customer serive department to talk to Mr. Ravi Pawar (Emp Id - 14462) he told me that I need to approach the Electronics department, who had re-directed me to them. I told him that I have come from there only. In short these lazy people dont want to do any work and will ask customers to keep running from one department to another. Then he spoke to someone in the Electronics Department on the phone. Later he told me that he cant issue the bill because I dont have the bill number. Now I told him that if I had the bill number, then why will I not have the bill also with me. To this he tells me that we can issue the duplicate bill only if we have a bill number. I told him that you can track the camera sale through other things like the SKU number, barcode number or sale date or model number and issue me a duplicate bill. To that he said he cant do that and cant issue me a duplicate bill. And on top of it Mr. Ravi Pawar started showing arrogance and attitude in his talks and was just trying to get rid of me somehow. It was then I realised how pathetic the staff of big bazaar is towards customer service. They just want to sell things and are least bothered about customer service. People like Ravi Pawar just dont care for after service sales. The camera of olympus that I bought was also pathetic and stop functioning after few months of purchase. All the money spent on it went wasted. Its better not to buy anything from big bazaar henceforth.

                                      I have purchased a Split Air conditioner during the month of August 2009 from the Big Bazaar, Guwahati, but unfortunately the Remote of the A.C. is not working since March 2010, within the guarantee period. Than I discussed with the customers care of big Bazaar, Guwahati Branch for its replacement. But due to non availability at their stock, they have directed me to produce the same at service centre. Accordingly, I have registered my name for its repair in the service at Guwahati. Meanwhile, the authority of the service centre has informed me that the availability of the Remote will be intimated to you through your phone no. In the mean time the summer season is over, verbal reminder has been placed to Mr. Nayan Gogoi, the respondent of the said remote at Guahati Big Bazaar, I tell him that, I am agree to pay for a new one but the result is a “Big Zero”. There is no assurance of new supply also. The Hot season is over and the Air Conditioner is helpless without your remote. This is pathetic for my family.
                                      I would therefore, request you kindly to arrange a remote for the next season,
                                      so that the A.C./ money can be utilized properly for the interest of public as well as for the name of Big Bazaar. Necessary particulars of the AC are as follows:-

                                        I completely agree that the services are no way near what you would expect from a standard store; infact even a local small time store would provide a better service. I ordered for a couch sometime inSeptember which they promised would be delivered on Oct 7th 2010 on an exchange basis for my old furniture (2 seater sofa). They already approached me twice for picking up my old furniture, once in Septmber and once in early October and when asked when the new one would be delivered, they have no clue. They easily fend off queries saying it is the other department which would deliver it.

                                        Finally after confirming that my piece was ready at the store, I paid my balance amount asking for delivery and pickup on the same date. They were prompt in picking up my old furniture on 27th Oct and said the new would be delivered within 48 hrs. Today on 29th Oct I get a call saying it cannot be delivered before 31st October, which means all my plans for inviting guests at home for the next two days goes for a toss; I keep my fingers crossed that they would atleast meet this date. If not I have asked them to give my old furniture and money back.

                                        One more colleague of mine had problems with the delivery of a shoe rack where in they delivered the wrong parts not once, not twice but thrice. It took more than a month to get the right parts delivered.

                                        I strongly advise you to be wary of this retailer and to exercie caution before making a big purchase here

                                        I am totally agree with you, quality of service is no where near the standard at all, people working within the stores does not have any ideas about their own schemes and condition apply. Even I am facing similar issues of delivery from these guy's. I have book my SOFA on 31st October 2010 & they were suppose to deliver the same by 9th Nov, but they do not have courtesy to inform me about the further delay. People working their are so careless that they do not bother about customers complaints.
