I made a purchase for Rs.27,396/- from Big Bazaar, VIP Road, Kolkata on 08/02/2010 vide bill No.111/4840. I have received 4 out of six items in 2 instalments upto now i.e. 27/02/2010. I have yet to receive other two items and everyday it is very soon. Today i was told that I would be receiving the same but it is 2135 hrs now and this disgusting and insensitive Big bazaar has not yet responded. I dont know whether they will really deliver the goods or it is another way of fraudulent encashment of money.

    I booked a (WR2D CAMPUS PB LC GD W/MIRROR WLNT) double door wardrobe with mirror on 26th JANUARY,2010 from BIG BAZAR(Future Value Retail Ltd.),SILIGURI,Cosmos Mall,2nd Mile,Sevoke Road,Opp. State Electricity Office,Siliguri-734401 for Rs.5899.00.My cash memo is T11/400 on 26/01/2010.
    My address is 11/1,Sreema Sarani,Near Sreema Bhawan,Haiderpara,Siliguri-734006.Till now I haven't received this wardrobe although they assured me it will reach within 10-15 days from booking date.Please help me out.

      I PURCHASED VIDEOCON DTH COMBO PACK FROM BIG BAZAR ON 26TH JAN 2010. AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE THE SALES PERSON TOLD THAT THEY WILL FIX THE DISC AND THE INSTALATION WILL BE DONE WITHIN 24 HOURS.
      BUT FOR NEXT SEVEN DAYS NO ONE TURNED UP WHEN I CONTACTED BIG BAZAR THE GIRL REFUSE TO TAKE THE COMPLAIN. THE SENIOUR PERSON CAME ONLINE AND SAID IT WILLBE DONE. BUT AGAIN TO SURPRIZE NOTHING DONE FOR ANOTHER WEEK I ONLY RECEIVED CALLS AND AGAIN THEY WERE ASKING FOR THE NATURE OF THE COMPLAIN.
      TILL DATE NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE FROM EITHER BIG BAZAR OR VIDEOCON DTH PEOPLE..
      PLS ADVICE WHAT TO BE DONE.
      it is the responsibilty of the videocon coy to send their representative for installation of the d2h with in 24 hrs.in my case the d2h was installed with in 1 hour and i ma happy with their service.even they responded with in 24 hrs and rectified the problem when i complained for unable to view south india channels.

        Customer Care of Big Bazaar
        Sir,

        I have purchased a Split Air conditioner during the month of August 2009 from the Big Bazaar, Guwahati, but unfortunately the Remote of the A.C. is not working since March 2010, within the guarantee period. Than I discussed with the customers care of big Bazaar, Guwahati Branch for its replacement. But due to non availability at their stock, they have directed me to produce the same at service centre. Accordingly, I have registered my name for its repair in the service centre at Guwahati. Meanwhile, the authority of the service centre has informed me that the availability of the Remote will be intimated to you through your phone no. In the mean time the summer season is over, verbal reminder has been placed to Mr. Nayan Gogoi, the respondent of the said remote, I tell him that, I am agree to pay
        for a new one but the result is a “Big Zero”. There is no assurance of new supply also. The Hot season is over and the Air Conditioner is helpless without your remote. This is pathetic to my family.
        I would therefore, request you kindly to arrange a remote for the next season,
        against CASH ON DELIVERY so that the A.C. can be utilized properly. Necessary particulars of the AC are as follows:-

          dear sir,
          i booked a sensui 32" lcd from BIG BAZAAR Pacific Taj Mall, Fatehabad Road, Agra by electronics delivery challan no 190 dt.[protected] and paid an amount of Rs. 19990.00 by cash memo no T26/76 dt.[protected].almost 25 days have gone but still above item has not been delivered to me by the store . i have contacted many time to the store's employee mr. amit sharma. cashier. & Mr. Devesh and many time I have complainted to regional office haryana as well through telefone but they also didn't responce me.
          Therefore Please look into the matter & take necessary action for the above transaction.

            i paid for a cupboard at bigbazaar malad west on 25th jan and i was told it will be delivered in7 days, it has not yet come.the worst part is that everyday after long long hold on phones they say it will come today at your place , i postpone my schedule and stay at home and the thing donot come.even i talked to assistant manager of the store , and even his commitment for delivery failed and 3 days have passed and no response.my friends who purchase similar cupboard from same place after me had got the delivery long back but not me.
            they dont pick the phone and once they recognize me on phone they cut the line and then if i dial again they keep the phone busy and i am unable to talk.

              Sir,
              On[protected], I have purchased different items worth of Rs. 5500/- in 3 bills from BIGBAZAAR at Kharvel Nagar, Bhubaneswar, Orissa. But unfortunately, in one bill No. T4/3946 Dt. 25.01.2010, in utensils buy 3 get 1 items, I have purchased 6 items each in 3 separate category to get 2 items free in each category. But due to error in billing, an amount of Rs. 108/- has been paid by me in excess and the bill-clerk is aware of the fact as well as I have also pointed out the same to the bill-clerk. The bill-clerk give me a chit of calculation of amount of Rs. 108/- code wise excess in the bill and to be refunded to me and also get the bill countersigned. The bill-clerk told me that to come another day after the sale so that he will get time to refund the amount.
              On[protected] I went to your Customer care stall at BB, the Supervisor take his own time to verify the bill with your billing system at cc cell. The told me that only Rs.48/- is excess not Rs. 108/- as has been calculated by the bill-clerk. The supervisor is also assured me that please come another day, after 4-5 days that the matter could be resolved with the Bill-clerk. I have categorically told him that I am not coming to get Rs. 108/- but to aware you about the fact that you and your system is wrong and you have correctly or incorrectly have taken excess amount in the bill. And I am one of the some the customer, here to awake/caution you not to do such type of fraudulent in future.
              On[protected], again I went to your store and contacted the CC cell and they told me to go to 2nd floor to meet the Bill-clerk. When I met, the Bill-clerk again took me to ground floor cc cell and verified the matter whether I get Rs. 108/- or Rs. 48/-. Then the cc cell called one Mr. Kirron Kolay-05329, Asst. Dept. Mgr. Immediately, when Mr. Kolay came without verifying the matter told me that I have no amount to get refund. He told me that as I have purchased 3 category items I will get only lowest priced items freed, even if I purchased 6 pcs. in each category. Mr. Kolay further told me that if you have billed separately, 3 bills for 3 separate items, you would have given 2pcs. free in each bill. I told him that you are a manager, you should have manage to display such thing or instructed the bill- clerk or advise the customer to it separate bill. I have also asked how a customer who have purchased more ger less free and who purchased lees will get more free. I did not get the logic of your manager or the management you have.
              Unfortunately, the attitude and the behavior of Mr. Kolay is not at all customer friendly or satisfactory, which should be recorded.
              I think this type of fact is not less than a fraud, misleading the customer and is liable to be taken into consideration under the consumer protection act, 1986.
              I think this type of affairs should not be occurring in future and I hope you will resolve this in a short span of time.

              • we have been facing a lot of problem with the Big bazaar Bhubaneswar placed near Ram Mandir, your customer service guy along with those who are at the billing counters, these guys they misbehave at the slightest enquiry about anything.

              • the other day a friend of mine was misbehaved and insulted on denying to accept plastic bags as she had just bought a small toy which she could accommodate in her purse.she was even asked that her bill will be cancelled if she doesnt take the plastic bag. I am working in NGO on cliamte change and im aware about why these plastic bags are being denied to use and then how can they force us. she was also not heard and even not attended properly by the floor manger Mr. Kumar NAnda. this has been happening repeatedly in Big bazaar In bhubaneswar. I hope if this is what your customer support is all about then this a very sorry state of affairs. I am not so very keen to visit Big bazaar anymore niether are my friends

              the behaviuor and attitude of the employees at kharvela nager Big Bazaar is absolutely not customer friendly they are arrogant, rude and insult lady customers . I think they need proper orientation on customer care and doesn't deserve the job they get.

              Sorry to say but this is the worst customer care service i have ever come cross
              I am also from bhubaneswar. The behaviour of salesgirl is very rude & they are arrogant. They treat us as if they are the daughter of the owner. I dnt knw wat they think about themself. On 18th Aug' i had been to there for some shopping. So when i asked a sales lady about a specific product, she just shouted at me & told me y dont u find it by own. At that time i was so angry that i stopped shopping there & return back to home. But i dnt knw why the authority of the Big Bazar is nt taking action for any problem & i think the HR of the Big Bazar dnt have any quality that y choosing the worst sales person.
              i ve booked a bed on 27/11/2011 from BB with full payment. Since 1 and half months i am waiting for the bed. BB authority neither delivering the goods nor refunding the money.
              BB IS REALLY CHEATING THEIR CUSTOMER. BB AUTHORITY SHOULD TAKE APPROPRIATE STEPS TO FACE THESE KIND OF PROBLEMS.
              IF BB IS NOT BOTHERING ABOUT ITS CUSTOMER WHY SUCH TYPE OF DEALINGS? FAKE DEALINGS SHOULD STOPPED ASAP.

              unable to access 2g services on data recharge of rs 96

              My no. Is [protected].though the recharge is done.but I m not able to access 2g servicEs I hv changed the settings in access point.its getting very irritating.

              Sold product for more than printed MRP

              Selling maggi at 22 Rs which is 2 Rs more than the Maximum Retail Price. I had a communication with the team and they said they would take necessary action, but none taken yet. I haven't been notified with the action taken on the issue.

                we Book a order of modular kitchen and a wardrobe before diwali in 2009 ..... we paid all amount in advance....... but still today is[protected], and its not completed, and still nobody is taking responsibility, we bought it from PalaceGreat India Noida,

                its such a bad service ... and giving daily false commitment ..... we cooked food almost 2 months without kitchen ....

                  This is to inform you about your services and Rude and pathetic customer service against customers

                  I have a very bad customer service experience with big bazaar, i & my family will never go to big bazaar in future

                  Yesterday i have purchased few items from big bazaar Sahara mall Gurgaon, the cashier and the packer cheated us

                  they scan all the items and took the bill of amount 1170/- rs from me and provide the sealed poly thin containing the items purchased by me, when we came home and open the sealed poly thin we got one item missed in it that is a ladies suit of r Rs 249.50, today we went to big bazaar to find our missed suit on the lost item helpdesk, one lady was there named Shikha behaved very rude to us, she didn't checked the covered of lost items and told to us "Ab kuchh nahi ho sakta, aap ja sakte hain yaha aapka kuchh nahi chhuta"

                  Please help us, we are from a medium class family, 250 rs are a lot to us we need our purchased product or our money refund

                  If i'll not receive any response from your side, i'll never go in BIG BAZAAR and also inform about this customer cheating style to all our family & Friends...

                    I booked and paid for a dining table from hometown vikhroli on 26/1/2010. I received the delivery late and as of today (7/2/2010) Nobody has come to assemble it as promised. Also their helpline numbers are continuouosly engaged.

                    Home Town — Worst Customer service

                    I have bought a reading table which was over priced and the only reason I bought it from home town expecting that there will be quality product with quality service and I am totally disappointed.

                    the wooden panels delivered has a damage and I have been calling them to replace for the past 10days. And the customer service never picks up the call. i have also called up the head office which seems to do just no wonders. I dont know how to react to this. I am just sharing this to all the innocent customers like me who go with the brand and finally end up loosing patience and money.

                    You have the worst services in the whole universe. I got my bed delivered after 7 days what you had committed and it's now 6th day nobody is coming for assembly. Your CC people are giving different and stupid excuses, simply making fool of me.

                    I am facing the same problem. I bought one bed from hometown on 4th of March 2010 and got it delivered on today morning, though they promised the delivery very next day. Also they have not sent yet a person to assemble it.
                    Also their helpline numbers are continuouosly engaged. It's really pathetic experience.
                    I booked 2 pieces of carved sheesham wooden chairs on[protected]. Till today[protected] it has not been delivered. Calls on 61775200 result in indefinite wait both before and after the call is received. The only answer i ever got is "oh! we are sorry. But shall deliver in 2 days". Speaking to Mr Sarfaraz ([protected]) Delivery Head, or Ms Niranjana ([protected]) did not result in getting a clarification about the delay...only time for another 2 days. Home Town is a good place for a stroll/walk with your family but CERTAINLY NOT FOR MAKING PURCHASES. BEWARE. I only hope to receive my money back at the earliest...I will never go to HomeTown or recommend it to anybody in future...a pathetic experience
                    Yes i agree with the complaints posted by the affected customer. Home town staff are really undertrain, they themselves dont know what are the policies of the copmany . Under one roof the two responsibile Authority giving contradictory answers.

                    The service in this shop is terrible. I purchased a futon from this place on 24Apr2010. I was promised delivery on 02May10- which I thought was too long to begin with. However the delivery did not take place till 8th after repeated follow-ups. I had guests coming to stay with us on the 9th and there was following up with them to get the fitting done by 9th. First I was told that it will get done but then on the evening of 9th I was told that they needed 48 hours for delivery. They think that once they have our money they can do anything. I had to tell them I will lodge an FIR after which they said they will send a person today, i.e. 9th. I spoke to Ms. Karuna, Mr. Sarfaraaz and the store manager Mr. Vishnu. I am still waiting for the fitting person to land up.

                    I am starting a Facebook group on Hometown highlighting the terrible service issues with this establishment and am going to circulate to everyone of my friends list. It is shocking how a store like this which belongs to the prestigious Future Group can behave like this. And yes, if the fitting doesnt happen today I am going to go to the cops.

                    i had booked a kitchen cabinet one 2 door and another 3 door on 26/04/10 from HOME TOWN vikhroli bill no 6096 and we were told delivery by 10/05/10. when called for the delivery they had all the excuses in the world to cover up their side. when i visited the store i met their Sales person Mr.Baba who told me they wont be able to supply it as there is no availibilty of stocks & then he asked me to write a letter asking for refund of payment which was forwarded to his senior named Mr. Nihar ([protected]).
                    it has been more than a week no reply from their side neither they are answering calls from my numbers.

                    the service is really pathetic and they are the best when it comes to making false commitment.

                    i had booked a kitchen cabinet one 2 door and another 3 door on 26/04/10 from HOME TOWN vikhroli bill no 6096 and we were told delivery by 10/05/10. when called for the delivery they had all the excuses in the world to cover up their side. when i visited the store i met their Sales person Mr.Baba who told me they wont be able to supply it as there is no availibilty of stocks & then he asked me to write a letter asking for refund of payment which was forwarded to his senior named Mr. Nihar ( [protected] [protected]).
                    it has been more than a week no reply from their side neither they are answering calls from my numbers.

                    the service is really pathetic and they are the best when it comes to making false commitment.

                    HomeTown — No Delivery and Fittings done

                    I had paid for a complete Marco set bedroom (bed, wardrobe, dressing tabele and 2 side tables ) from Home Town on 3- Nov 2010 and was promised delivery within three days. The dressing table arrived within the 3 days only. The rest yet to come.
                    I have personally visited the store and met the fittings manager who promised me fitting by saturday, 13 Nov 2010 and rest of the delivery too by sat 13- Nov 2010. No action taken.
                    I am surprised that even after personally visiting the store and asking them to deliver the product, they dont listen.

                    Till date I have not received the consignment. During my visit to Hometown, Vikhroli, on 15.12.2010, I was informed that Hometown never forwarded the order for appropriate execution and I was assured of prompt delivery on 21.12.2010. It is also pertinent to note that during that visit I was also informed that all the orders of the same section were delivered except mine.

                    This is a classic example of sheer negligence and deficiency in services. I am entitle to get damages for the harassment caused in addition of cost I have already paid.

                    HomeTown — Poor Work Quality and excess payment collected

                    I got my home interiors done by Home Town in Sahara Ganj,Lucknow.They have not visited my home to review their work,in spite of my repeated phone calls and visits.
                    The workers sent by them have colleced 4,000/- in excess,which they have acknowledged but no repayments have been done yet.

                    Home Town furniture mall in mumbai or i guess anywhere in india are the biggest cheaters/frauds. They display beautiful products so that people get fooled and order from them and keep reasonable prices but at the time of delivery cheat people. I had booked tiles worth 80 thousands dated 20.03.2011 and they told us we will get the delivery in 48 hrs but after 48 hrs we received only half material and that is also not good quality we found different shade variation in the tiles we enquired for the product despite my regular calls, they were giving some excuses and reassures it will be done today...etc but nothing happened till now. very bad service, no management, no organisation.                     HomeTown — Not deliver Fitment improper

                    Purchased two item (Dining table & Center table) promised to deliver within a week not delivered on time one time delivered after after 12 days and another item pending for more then two weeks ... when call on customer care they alwase say we will check and call with in an hours ost of the time they did not call when they called said will delver on next day or some thing like but so far not yet delivered ... also the delivered item they did not come for assembly /fitment within 48hrs after delivery(as mentioned on recipt) and the fittment person did not fitted properly and the glass fell down (on floor) with an hour luckly it did not hurt or broken....

                    Hussain Shaikh and Brijesh were point of contact and they orally promised that the furniture will be delivered before 7th Nov, however the delivery date on document is 12th Nov.
                    I am in touch with both of them and I got to know that the furniture will get delayed and it looks difficult to get deliver before promised date. While booking I informed that I will be out of town post 12th Nov for couple of months.

                    I have booked it well in advance and the plan was to get delivery before Diwali festival.

                    Please let me know confirmed delivery date. I am still expecting this before 12th Nov.
                    I doubt if they have any helpline, even their showrooms don't have facility of lodging complaints.
                    I myself have purchased furniture from HOME TOWN and am repending. The quality of the furniture is very very inferior and my number of complaint remains unattended. No One is bothered to resolve the issue. My friend also faced same issue unfortunately I came to know about it after I discussed with him about my problem.
                    I purchased a dining table from Hometown (GIP Noida). On continous calling for assembly they sent person after 3 days of delivery.On opening the packets, chair screw kit was missing, Still they are not taking storng action for such a small issue.                     I mrs Jagdish Shinde order a matress with a carpet on 14/7/2013 I resived it on 24/7/2013 but I will fell sorry to say that I only resived the matress I request u to send me my pillows and my carpet in 2 or 3 days
                    Regarding Modular Kitchen from Hometown Amanora Pune

                    It's been around 1 Year of modular kitchen booking and still not completed. Very poor service from Hometown Amanora Pune. I will not recommend Hometown to anybody.

                    Modular Kitchen booking - First week of December, 2019.
                    Confirmed the design on - 11th dec, 2019.
                    Incomplete material delivered and work performed - ONLY two weekends of January 2020.

                    Today is 1st October 2020, still getting false promises, no delivery of pending materials and no work at all.

                    Issues:
                    1. Only 60% work has been completed that too after many follow ups over phone and shop visits.
                    2. Instead of Hettich, other company's materials were installed in some parts.
                    3. Design not as per confirmation. Totally different design built up for one of the units.
                    4. Very bad customer service, every time I called Hometown for further work enquiries and got false commitments always.
                    5. Everytime supervisor comes and takes measurements, I don't know why, when measurements are already confirmed on mail in December 2019. Doing timepass or what.

                    Please be professional and maintain your hometown reputation.

                    I hv purchased sofa set - 3 seater recliner and 2 seater sofa from Hometown Mantrimall Bangalore on 25 Oct 2020. The store has taken upfront payments of INR 84500 and promised delivery by 26 Nov 2020. However surprisingly store has informed 2 seater is out of stock and forced me to accept delivery of 3 seater recliner. I sensed the problem & denied partial delivery.

                    When I approached store they informed me that 2 seater manufacturing is stopped. I requested for refund but they denied and forced me to wait. Till today there is no confirmation on delivery neither they are refunding amount. Store manager response is very hopeless even after several reminder call or messages he is not bothered to response. Customer care as usual helpless and keep on extending delivery date to 30nov then 3 dec then 7 dec now 10 dec.

                    I hv not seen such irresponsible adamant behaviour from any of furniture shop and store is spoiling image and brand name.
                    Request highest authority to intervene and resolve issue either through quick assured delivery or refund of my full amount.

                      ON 26/01/10,i gave my bag at the luggage counter(token no 29) of food bazar at eternity mall,nagpur.the bag contained 1pair shoes,1shirt,1trackpant,3books,medicines&old pullover.Unfortunately security person lost it.The store manager asked me 48 hour time to return me the bag or else he would pay me Rs5000. but since last 10 days,i made more than 50 calls to them but nobody is taking the responsibility to compensate for the loss.some perssons are even abusing &threating me.i went 3times at food bazar but they are just harassing me .

                        I recently bought a pair of NIKE floaters(model no.[protected] from Planet sports, Garuda mall, Bangalore. One of the employee told me that it was brand new model from NIKE and it was not on SALE, but when I bought it and checked it out , I found that it was not a new model and it was manufactured in March -09. Moreover, on the same model other stores had a discount of 40%.
                        I have been constant buyer from Planet Sports stores in Chandigarh and now in Bangalore. I have never witnessed this kind of lying in my life just to sell an old product to a customer. I will also suggest my friends not to buy anything from any of future group's companies.

                            How LONG one can wait for getting the refund ?I feel it would have been better to buy from the retail shops .I do get the calls from the KOTA centre saying VOGUE STATEMNT that MR KUNAL OR MAHESH is on leave and when will they come ,you would be refunded back the amount.I am about to lose the patience and going to report the matter to the COMSUMER FORUM
                            Till now I have not got the amount in my account. A call has come to me from the kota centre inquiring of my address and then I myself had gone and they had given me a letter stating that to the manager Axis bank ,Ahmedabad for the refund -WHAT DOES IT MEAN?I want my money back in mine account at KOTA

                              on 23.01.10 , i had purchased an AC and a chandlier.on the time of purchase they promised that it would be delievered on 25/01 , on aonstant followup by me it was delievered on 28/01.
                              now with reagrd to chandelier , these are my greivence and need some action on this
                              1. the product delievered with a delay of 3 days
                              2. the enclosed packet did not have a booklet/literature for teh way to assemble it. when called they answere back saying you were suppose to take a pic of it while purchasing or call their electrician for assembling and pay him 250/-
                              3. the invoice no [protected] had one chandelier , 2 wall lamp and 9 bulbs ... they did give 2 bulbs less and now it has been 11 days i have not yet recevied it .
                              4. Person in charge is not willing to come on the home to undesrtand my issue

                                I write to draw attention to the substandard and unsatisfactory services provided by Home Town – Modular Kitchen, Pune. This is in breach of our contract as laid down by the Home Solutions Retail (India) Limited. We have been ceaselessly following up with the Home Town Pune staff however regret to write that we have not received any concrete feedback as to when the work will be completed.

                                We placed our order for Modular Kitchen on 24 October 2009 and the total cost of the order amounted to Rs.1,59,000 /- . According to Home Town's Terms and Conditions we promptly paid 50% of the total cost while placing the order. And the remaining 50% of the order was paid before the delivery and the installation of the kitchen units.

                                I was assured while placing the order that the order would take 35 days for manufacturing and 5 days for installation. I had placed order on 24 October 2009, absolutely much in advance, giving ample of time for production, delivery and installation since I wanted to avoid any work to be taking place during the Christmas week. Finally the material arrived; I was being constantly chased for the payment of the remaining 50% to get the installation started. And the installation work started on 8 December 2009. Finally, the carpenter team arrived for installation, shocker, one frame is just too big, dustbin holder missing, boxes for one side of kitchen are too big, certain trolleys, cabinet doors and shelves were still missing. The carpenter team were confused which piece should go where, they nearly had the wrong cabinet put until I explained them the drawing, so at end, an incomplete installation was done, with a few things left. Not to mention that our Christmas took place without a kitchen, a disappointment I say, the installation work was still being done on Christmas Eve turning my house into a mess. Thanks to Home Town my family did not get an opportunity to celebrate Christmas because of their inefficiency.

                                This is where from the never ending saga of follow up and chasing started. One of the senior staff, Mr. Anil Pande (Mob No. [protected]) from Home Town assured me that my remaining kitchen material would be delivered in 2 weeks and installed in another week... Now again, this was me chasing them and not them informing me. It’s been 6 weeks since then and as I write I still am awaiting my trolley cabinet, door and shelves to be delivered and fixed, I say a complete disaster... If I had a voice, that could reach far and east, I would shout "DONT EVER get a Kitchen done at HOME TOWN Pune."" Unless you have loads of time, money and a relentless appetite to follow up and chase people on matters

                                I sincerely hope hometown take note of this and do something actionable to esteem their business ethics. I have still not given up on hope and am waiting for the kitchen to be finally complete...13 weeks, and still counting!!

                                Home Town enters into a contract whereby it specifies all the terms and conditions customer faces if he does not abide by it. I want Home Town to address to the following queries:

                                1.Does Home Town have any set of rules / guidelines set for themselves if they default to deliver to the customer within specified time frame
                                2.Orders were placed twice to your factory for material – the first time we did not receive the trolleys and other major material – the second time the trolleys were of wrong sizes. What controls do you have to see that customer orders are handled accurately?
                                3.Irresponsible Staff – Who is responsible for the inconvenience we are facing – When we approached your staff that took our order and collected our payment - the person mentioned “I take only orders execution is not my job”?? This should be conveyed to the customer at the time when orders and payments are taken.
                                4.Do you deal with all your customers in a similar manner; if yes then Home Town should be exposed because after taking the full payment you make the customer run from pillar to post.
                                5.What about the damages and inconvenience faced by the customer? Is Home Town compensating for the same?
                                6.How can Home Town take 100% of the payment from the customer even before completing the entire job and thereby giving incomplete job to the customer?

                                I recommend Home Town to address such cases where they are unable to provide service to the customer in the contract.

                                Your case is perfect match with our case only with offset of 1 year. We placed order on 24th Sept 2010 and on 14th Jan 2011, we have still to receive Modular Kitchen material. All false promised so far. Hometown should think twice taking more orders for modular kitchens. They don't have capability to execute big orders.

                                For future buyers of Modular kitchens, think many times. Don't place any order to hometown. I am 100 % sure, you will suffer.
                                I would advice customer NOT TO BUY PRODUCT FROM HOME TOWN, KOLKATA. They are the biggest cheater in Kolkata. I have ordered a dinning table under Advance Receipt No: [protected] dt. 28/08/2011 which was supposed to deliver within 3 days. Right now it is more than 20 days and there is no sign of delivery or status report from their end. We have tired of calling again and again. As per my last correspondance, they asked me to send email at ht.[protected]@futuregroup.co.in requesting for refund. Now they guys are kept neglecting my email and not ready to provide the refund against non-delivery of product.

                                HOW CAN SUCH A BIGGEST CHEATER SURVIVE ?? I AM REALLY SHOCKED TO SEE SUCH PATHETIC SERVICE FROM FUTUREGROUP.

                                  I had visited BIG BAZAAR(Milan Mall, Near Milan Subway Santacruz WEST,Mumbai),at Sunday morning.

                                  When i tried to pick some vegetables and foodgrains from rack, I saw rats moving freely inside the store.(Also I saw some bitten cabbages and cauliflower)

                                  I was shocked seeing at this and informed the store keeper and he replied this is "regular" and it will go after sometime.

                                  What a shame at a company which advertises itself day and night in all news papers in India with "Sabse sasta din" ,and behind the doors they have other story of cleanliness.

                                  I have found rats in big bazaar stores in the Infinity mall store (in the vegetables section), and in the Mega mall store today, in the spices section.

                                  This is highly disappointing, and quite disgusting, coming from the store that says "isse acha kahin nahin".

                                  I am sure Big Bazaar can at least sell its products with a decent degree of hygiene/safety, out of respect for its customers.

                                  Very disappointing, and angered at the carelessness.

                                    Hi,

                                    I want to warn the price irregularities at BIG BAZAAR.

                                    I bought "khus khus" from BIG BAZAAR at MegaMall at OShiwara.

                                    The price printed on the product is Rs 29, whereas when the bill is generated,
                                    Rs 45 is billed to me.
                                    Similary for tur dal, the price on price tag is Rs78,whereas I am billed for Rs 90/-


                                    Later I called the manager and he accepted the price irregularities.
                                    was ready to give cash refund.
                                    So In this ways how many customers must becheated every day.

                                    I request that such price irregularities should be highlighted and
                                    brought to pulic notice.

                                    Being India's largest retailer, Big Bazaar is doing a wonderful job. There are always some errors in organising to sell so many items. Sometimes, the latest rates or discounts are not updated in the billing system, and that is why the pricing problem arises. But on the whole, Big Bazaar continually brings to us the best deals and discounts, which no mom-n-pop store or Kirana can give.
                                    I am sure we all can check the bill once before leaving the cash counter.

                                    I bought HIMALAYA TOOTHPASTE DENTAL CREAM - 200g for Rs.99/- as billed by BIG BAZAAR, whereas the MRP printed on the product is Rs.70/-.

                                    Many customers are being cheated BIG BAZAAR.

                                      THE GUARD AT THE ENTRANCE TOLD THAT YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD TO ENTER BIG BAZAAR ALONE.I AM 17 YEARS OLD.I ENTERED SEVEREL TIMES BEFORE FROM AGE 15 HERE.BUT TODAY THEY TOLD ME THAT AND SENT ME OUTSIDE.PLEASE LOOK OVER THE MATTER.......

                                      We booked AC, Fridge and Washing Machine on 25th Dec 2009 for 36,000 Rs. at Big Bazaar Chennai Pondy Bazar area.
                                      We were told that the delivery of goods will happen in 2 days time.
                                      Its now more than 15 days and they have not delivered the goods. Every day they say it would be done tomorrow by 11:00 PM in the night.
                                      We have lost on valuable time and expenses on going there(takes 250 Rs both sides) and calling their shop everyday. There was lot of inconvinience in cooking food (daily vegetable shopping) and even the basic necessity of Milk not available in the home due to unavailability of Fridge.
                                      The manager there is such a rude person, today he has just plainly asked us to collect back our money. This is absolutely not acceptable as response to a consumer after 15 days of harrasment.
                                      Also when we booked the merchendise there were different offers available in other shops on the same goods. Now if we have to take back our money we will have to pay more on the goods since the new year offers have now closed. Big Bazaar has to compensate for this loss.
                                      They also provided us with a faulty Preeti mixer. The cap of mixer vessel was missing. How can the mixer grind with vessel cap. They are now not ready to replace the piece as well.

                                      BIG Bazaar Pondy Bazaar — Non Delivery of Product

                                      Ref: My Slip No:1016 dated 08.03.2009

                                      I ordered Samsung Washing Machine on 08th March 2009 an dpaid full cash at Big Bazar, Pondy Bazzar. Till today I did not get any information, when I will get the washing machine. Whenver I telephone, I am not getting any response and sometime, they will say it will be delivered tomorrow. When I visit and enquire, there were no responsibile officer and manager to talk and complain. Only the sales rep will be there and he will give the same answer. I paid RS.14200. I request the consumer forum to help me to sort out this issue.
                                      I too have a similar frustrating experience with Big Bazar Pondy bazar. After booking a Nilkamal cupboard it is more than a month that the delivery has not happened. The contact numbers provided are just not attended.
                                      Big Bazar has chosen the way of cheating customers.
                                      They are not at all good and charging more compare to other shops.
