Hi, This is in regards to my last order (DX-BBO[protected]. I had a party at home yesterday (20 July) and i decided to order some quickies from big basket. Obviously, I chose the Express delivery. I got a confirmation "your order shall be delivered by 8:47 pm" But to my dismay, there was no delivery made. I waited waited n waited till 10. There was not a single message or call or email from your big basket notifying the status of my order. Then adding to the misery (imagine there is a party that I have at my place waiting for food to be delivered) I called up the Big Basket customer care then the executive replies "Ma'am I am sorry, I will escalate the complaint, I don't know why it has not been delivered and I will arrange a call back for you in 5 minutes."
There was not a single call I received after that. This clearly depicts how much you value your customers. Then in the night at 11:55 I get a message from Big Basket " Your order has been cancelled". Simply Amazing! And, then within 5 minutes, I get another message " Your order will be delivered on 21 July between 5:pm to 7:30".
Then, in the morning at 8:30 your delivery boy comes to my place and tells me I have got half of your order and the rest will be delivered in the evening.
What is wrong with your services? Is this how you are going to deal with your customers? Amazing your services are, First you don't deliver my order then you don't care to intimate the customer and if that is not enough, you cancel it and then again issue it on your own and you even decide the delivery time for me. If this all was not enough, instead of rectifying your mistake, You again delivered half of my order in the morning and conveniently said that "rest you will get in the evening."
Merely hiring celebs as your brand ambassador will not let you survive in the market with tons of other online grocery stores, when you can't respect and value your customers.
If somebody orders through Express delivery, It means 'Urgent". I would have understood that there can be operational mistakes but You people didn't even care to intimate. No phone call no email no message, nothing! And the follow up you did certainly deserves applause. You chose slots fr me on your own and delivered half of the stuff. Commendable! Pathetic service.
DON'T CLAIM WHAT YOU CAN'T DO! Can't trust Big basket now and neither its quality nor the team behind it.
Clearly it shows Nobody cares or pay any heed to the customer.
I have never seen such a type of customer service by any company. Definitely going to stop as much people as I can from falling for Big Basket. From the attitude and services Big Basket has, it clearly shows that You guys no longer need customers. Thank You

      I ordered some items on tuesday night to take advantage of the icici card offer they were running. The order did not accept the card and removed discount and confirmed the order with higher amount of 1539 instead of 1139 as cod. This happened twice. Tried to connect to the customer service and got a recorded voice saying the do not work in the night. Did not even receive the confirmation of order.

      Morning of wednesday, i cancelled the orders and send a mail to customer service for the same. They apologized and asked to resubmit the order with same code but the system did not take it - they kept telling me samething 6 times and then someone again told me that i cannot submit it on wednesday. The whole point i needed their attention to! Everytime a new person responds to the mail and no one has a clue to what is happening. My ticket number is [protected].

      The customer service is so bad that what is accepted in 2 mails is said to be miscommunication. Big basket does not care about the customer at all.

        Both the time i ordered from them, nothing came fresh so never again! Second time was out of desperation otherwise after the first experience i really wouldn't have ordered again. Fruit and veg had mould on them and smelled really bad, bread was not fresh and even tropicana cartons were puffed up, indicating that it had expired our had gone off. What a waste of time and a huge disappointment! Second time when returned things it took them an hour to work out the total they had to refund as it wouldn't match my total, in other words they were basically trying to rip me off by charging more. Do not buy from them!

          Sir,

          With reference to the order number dx-bbo[protected] i wish to bring in your notice that the cut papaya and sweet corn both turned out to be rotten.
          The papaya was smelling so bad that we had to throw it on the same day without consumption.

          The sweet corn is rotten from below and is of really bad quality.

          Can you refund my money and ensure that such things don't happen in future?

            Hi, this is regarding the order no. mbvo[protected]
            I had ordered regular onions 2kg & organic onions 1kg (for patient).
            Big basket team brought 6kg onions all without label. when i checked they came to know they have brought extra 3kg onions. i returned the 3 kg and asked which one was organic he just picked one of them.
            I called customer care the person told next day it will be replaced by original organic ones. but next day nobody arrived. again i called them they placed on a long hold and told they will call back. again no body called. again i called them they placed on hold until call got disconnected. worst service.

            I had cancelled my order for the late delivery on 4th July and today it's 11th July I am still waiting for money to be credited in my Paytm wallet. They have a worst ever refund policy.

              This is an incident that has happened with me from big basket ends, new delhi, -. today dated 10th july 2016. i ordered stuffs eatable items which included eggs. i was been delivered rotten/broken eggs in a quantity of 4-5 in a tray of 30. at the time of opening of the eggs packet, i saw the eggs and at the same time, i called the customer care team to raise a complain regarding the same at [protected] (sandhya received the call). she took my complain at 10:45 am (ist) and promised me that she is going to send a fresh tray of eggs and replace the old ones between 1-2 pm the same day. i cancelled my meetings n all waited till 2 pm but no one replied/no update. at 2pm. as there was no any update, i myself rang the same number and asked about my complain, one of the lady she received my call and put my call on hold to check for the update for almost 10-15 minutes. and after that she said that, the replacement will happen after 4. being asked by me that why i was not been informed the same, she said due to some technical issue. what kind of technical issue it was, that big basket people didn't informed me?? what kind of technical issues it was, big basket provided rotten/broken eggs?? i want the compensation of wasting my time whatever technical issues they had sitting in the ac rooms. if they cant provide the service they should not be there in the market.

              Again, I called for the same regarding my stuff. People from the service, that lady left and she didn't updated simply arranged the same for 4-5 slots. Do you guys thinks Customers are fool. The guys who received my call, again put me on hold stating that he is going to transfer me to his senior. No one responded.

              Big Basket - Stop playing with Customer's time and patience. If you guys cannot provide the services, please remove your promises. After all the incident, the manager ones Shashi (Centralized Customer Care).
              Shashi, mentioned - that items were been cross check before delivering it to the customer but nothing happened today 10 July 2016. What type of Checking it was been done ?? What kind of checking you guys are doing. ???

                Hi,
                I am purchasing regularly products from big bakset, every month they are providing old manufacturing date items (mfg date is dec-2015). if you call customer care no proper response is given, totally dissatisfied with big basket, don't know how to resolve the issue. second time reordered also, they are bringing the old items, no proper explanation is given by customer care. please look the images for the same

                  This is to inform you that my order which was set to deliver on 4th July 2016 time slot 5-7:30pm never got delivered.
                  Surprisingly it shows delivered under my orders tab in Bigbasket app.
                  This is horrendous, or rather criminal. I had been wasting my time calling customer care since 7pm evening. I have been speaking to various customer service agents such as Parmeshwar, Mahesh etc. But no one is able to help me here, this has caused a lot of trouble to me. I should get what I rightfully paid for. I had to speak to one of your agents Mr. Mahesh Kumar Rathore, he placed the order again and advised that half of the order can be delivered on Tuesday 5th July 2016 and the other half will be delivered in 6th July 2016. There are 2 items which are now out of stock and I shall be getting a refund for them. The orders he placed are showing as COD where as I have already paid for the previous order which never got delivered, it amounted to INR 2654.00
                  This is criminal, I will never be ordering again from Bigbasket and no one else from my peers would as well. I want the groceries delivered for which I have already paid for ASAP. I won't be paying for any order which was placed on behalf of the order which never got delivered. Nor am I paying for any additional charges for delivery. I need compensation as well.
                  This is not at all acceptable.

                    I ordered to bigbaket on fridays for sunday delivery of my order item means he have very enf time to see about the quality of the time is going to supply but when morning the product come in front of me especially fish i wonder after seeing it's looking like worst thing ever i seen its completely pack than also smell like dead dog which throughout road side how they smell same i ask delivery boy he said its fresh then i ask him you seen this also you are saying like this than he said it's my job sir what to do we know price are high from the market than also they buy the cheapest from the market pack well and they say fresh i told take it out his now i understand what's big basket why sharuk knan is doing the advertisement for them don't know is he is buying for his family and making full to other i feel so sad from my government they are the first person in defaulter list the staff want 7th pay for what what job he do is its not the responsibility of fssai and fmcg concern department and food inspector or inspection wing to see they becomes corrupted same as politicians and policies maker. we are full how pay tax for like this governance for their salaries. close all this person job and bit him on road same on everyone how is related with this big full we are how thing government is their how watch everyone.

                      Extremely dissatisfied with the service offered. I had placed an order on the big basket app on 30th June and my slot timings for delivery was for 1st July between 05:00-07:30pm eventually the order didn't arrive between the slot timings, neither did I get any call or message for the delay in delivery. Your delivery guy reached my house at 10:00 in the night which not all acceptable. Since I was not at home I asked him to reschedule it for the next morning i.e. 2nd July before 12pm to which he agreed.

                      Again the order was not delivered and I get a messages stating that I have rescheduled it for a later time, which I didn't. After several attempts I managed to reach your so called customer care number which is full of highly incompetent staff, I raised my concern and was put through one of your supervisor's named Priya. I was promised by her that my order will be delivered before 6pm. You guys failed to fulfil your promise for the 2nd time I didn't receive my order. I had to take the trouble of calling you customer service centre and spoke to your staff so called supervisor Mahesh Kumar Rathod, I was shocked to know that my concern and my complaint was not documented by your previous supervisor, I had to go through the trouble of explaining him the whole reason on why I am calling and I get another foolish and unacceptable answer that my order will be delivered post 8pm today. He was extremely rude and not at all helpful. Wow this seems like a joke to me, you guys are highly incompetent and not worthy of being trusted. Your customer service is just a waste of time. Not going use your pathetic and stupid service anymore. Will also raise it to the consumer court.

                        I submitted one order day before yesterday (30/6/2016). I wanted it to be an express delivery. It was divided in three oreders. One was express delivery of 11 items with a. Delivery slot of 11am to 12pm on 1st July 2016. and there were two standard deliveries with time slot 7:30am to 9:30am on 2nd July.
                        The express delivery didnt reach in time nor any call from your side. When i called them, they said they will arrange a call back in half hour which I never recieved.
                        Again i called after t hours and again i was promised 10% discount and a call back about status in half an hour which again never came. The order was shown is packed. Again I called after i received the standard deliveries, and again I was told to wait for a call back.
                        This is not only frustrating but very inconvenient and very careless on your part. Your customers wait for the deliveries and the answers and you arent bothered to even inform when can it be expected or just ask to cancel and reorder.if you are unable.
                        I asked the person to cancel my order finally on the forurth call to your customer care which is a big.joke.
                        Do let me know.if there is anyone in the hierarchy who can accept the issue on your part and how do you think it can be compensated?

                          Ordered is cancelled by company side due to some operational issues... And than i made call to customer care executive says that.. We wont be able to delivered today... So i say that dont cancel the order. Let the order be delivered tomorrow... They said.. Ok we will do.. But they didn't... And also as per their policy if the ordered is out of stock/cannot be delivered than 50% of total sum of products should be added as a compensation... But this also.. Doesnt happen... Really disappointed...
                          Apart from this... They always said. On messaging on social media .. We are just... Get in touch with you... Shortly... 26 hours gone still not contacted yet...
                          BIGBASKET... TOTALLY FRAUD COMPANY... EVEN THEIR POLICY IS JUST TO SHOWOFF...
                          just see the screenshot ... You get the real truth of their fake policies...
                          They even see my recent messages on fay.. But ignored them now totally

                            Vide invoice no. Bmvi[protected] dt. 21.6.2016 ordered for materials worth 8726/- the invoice syas they can accept max. 6927 coupons, when the delivery made they took 2000 coupons stating that is only possilble as per co. Policy and took money for balance and left. When i contacted big basket they say there is no such polcy and they are returning the money but sofar sever attempts made and no result

                              Horrible experience. Order was to be delivered on saturday 18th june 2016. Never arrived and wasn't informed of delay. Got a message on sunday morning that order would be delivered before 9:30. Never arrived. Got a call late evening stating they would deliver the next day and that they had come 10 minutes earlier and no one was home. Liars. Later said vehicle broke down. Promised to deliver early morning and in spite of requesting to come before 8 as i leave for work, guys came at 11. Had to take half a day off coz of them. And guess what! Was in a hurry so checked order items in the evening. 9 items missing. 3 vegetables rotten. 2 items present that weren't in my order. Called them up and explained but they just cut the call! Will approach consumer court.

                                It was supposed to be my first experience with big basket but i can assure you this will be the last as well due to the terrible customer service mindset your company has displayed.

                                I placed an order on 14th june??? 16 for items to be delivered on 15th june??? 16 between 7:30 am to 9 am. Order number bbfo[protected] with the bill amount of rs1865/-

                                I received the order as promised on the said date and time. Bill had an option to pay rs1200/- as food coupons and the rest as cash.

                                Hence i paid the delivery man 1200 worth coupons and asked him to deduct the balance amount on my citibank card.

                                After an hour i realized the delivery man billed me rs 1865 on my card and also carried the 1200 worth of coupons.

                                I immediately called the call center at 9:43 am on 15th june and asked them to contact the delivery person and have him return the sodexo coupons. I was told his phone was not reachable and i will receive a back within 15 mins. I waited the entire day and did not receive any call from the customer service department.

                                I called back on 16th june at 9:30 am. I asked if a ticket was logged with my issue. The person said the delivery man was not carrying his phone and hence he could not be reached on 15th june. Blatant lies coz the delivery man used the phone for the billing procedure. The call center person said the server is slow and hence offered me a callback from the responsible department within 15 mins. I waited till 3:30 pm and there was no call.

                                I called back the call center at 3:45 pm and the person on the line said the backend team is working on the case and he again offered me a callback within 15 mins to which i resisted and asked for a supervisor.

                                The supervisor who spoke to me said the amount was credited to my account and i could use it for the next transaction with big basket. Its been 2 hours and i don??? T see anything reflecting on my account yet.

                                Today after 3 days big basket says the delivery person has returned the food coupons which is a total blasphemy.

                                  I had received a wrong delivery for my order on 7th June. Pickup of the wrong items was done as requested but I have not yet received the refund for the undelivered items. I have made 4 calls to customer service and got false promises of refund.
                                  I want to escalate this to the concerned dept here for getting either the refund or the correct items delivered to me.
                                  Awaiting your response and resolution to this issue.

                                    I have given an interview at bigbasket on 16th [protected]@12:00 pm wednesday. I didn't clear the interview. The hr (Anshita tiwari) told me that the traveling ticket will be reimbursed. I came from pune to just to attend the interview. Till date the amount has not been reimbursed by bigbasket. I have the email chain for reference.

                                    Its my hard earn money, hence kindly reimburse the amount of rs. 8519.

                                      For this order, i faced difficulties. Not only the customer care executives slow, also there r system glitches. You are asked to be on the line while the executive tries to address the issue and they dont have a toll free no. And then they send the delivery and again... Due to sys issue, payment details are not updated properly. I was made to talk to the executive for 45 mins before the order was finally delivered. I am just too disappointed. Guess, its time to try other vendors.

                                        First this big basket is totally fraud, they make false promises and then rob the customers.
                                        I had money in my account of rs 368 which was credited for the item that i returned because while checking out it showed the discount, but when I received it, it was billed with mrp. I returned it and the money was credited. After a couple of days when I purchased the goods for their site I used the wallet amount . The same day I got a message that my order was cancelled . When I enquired the customer care they say they can't do anything..
                                        This site is totally cheat and fraud.
