Order number dx-bguo[protected] was supposed to be delivered by 10th april through express delivery but was never delivered even after full upfront payment of 267 rupees. I contacted bigbasket customer service several times. They acknowledged with ticket no:6192031 and said they are looking into it. No progress or update for more than 4 days. Very unprofessional service. This merchant is unreliable and definitely not to be trusted with payment before delivery is received.

yes this merchant takes money and then does not want to give it back----- same experience to me on 3 april---- i am still waiting for my refund and now am tired of calling up the monkeys in the customer service department

    Big basket may employ shahrukh khan for their promotions, but one day in your order you will face severe service issues, when you will be delivered rotten tomatoes (Shown in picturea attached); i think big basket wants to kill india by making us eat these rotten tomatoes;

    Big basket is an irresponsible organisation and you will find thousands of blogs against bigbasket mentioning poor quality of products sold by big basket and poor service from big basket.

    But i order from bigbasket and it was huge error. My order which was to be delivered at 5:00 pm on 9st april but the delivery boy called me on 10 th april with wrong address and he told me that he will deliver order at 5:00 pm on 11 th april.

    My order is already 2 days late but i am not sure big basket with its disorganised and disgusting management will ever deliver this order.

    Shameless big basket did not apologise .
    Do not shop from bigbasket ever.
    Big basket is an irresponsible organisation and you will find thousands of blogs against bigbasket mentioning poor quality of products sold by big basket and poor service from big basket.

    But i order from bigbasket and it was huge error. My order which was to be delivered at 7:00 pm on 1st april but the delivery boy came at 11:00 pm in drunkard condition, that i told him to get out and come tomoorrow as i could not allow him in in that condition.

    The order was delivered next morning.
    Shameless big basket did not apologise .
    Do not shop from bigbasket.
    You can pay for stones instead. They are cheaters

      We have placed an order of vegetables (order no-#MPC[protected] on 5th April and its been 4 days since we are waiting for this order to be delivered to us. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service is being provided to me. During these days we even continuously followed up with customer executive and we got assurances each day. On 6th we got rescheduled to 6th evening, when we contacted on 7th morning it was again rescheduled to 7th evening. We waited and waited and it was again not delivered. We contacted again and then it was rescheduled to 8th morning and then to evening. As of now still it is NOT delivered to us. Finally today we cancelled this order.

      Can we have some strict action against these peoples.

        I am a new customer of big basket, but badly disappointed by the services when placing my 2nd order. Order was to be delivered on 6th April (Wed evening: 5pm to 7:30pm slot). but no updates till 7:45pm.
        1) i called customer care and was told it will be delivered in next 15-20 mins.
        2) i waited till 8:30pm and again called. they blamed it on me and told me that they tried to contact me at 7:45pm but as i was not at home it was not delivered. i told them to check their logs as i had called them around same time and was very much at home. then customer care person said that there is operational issue and it will be delivered 7th April morning.
        3) no delivery on 7th morning. and no communication
        4) on 7th evening i get a call that it will positively be delivered on 8th morning
        5) no delivery on 8th morning again though i got a call from delivery man that he is close to my place at around 9:25am
        6) i checked customer care again at around 10:30am (today) and was told that it will be delivered tomorrow now.
        so frustrating this is. i went ahead to get it cancelled and plan to not use big basket again. the services are pathetic and there is no commitment that is adhered to. no updates for delays are sent

          Idhayam mantra oil was charged more than 20rs from the actual MRP. It is illegal to make money more than MRP. How can the bigbasket itself assign some random amount and sellto customers? Idhayam normal oil was rs.179 instead they charged 184 as normal price. Even though i have raised the issue to their notice, no response from their side. Trying to put a case as I have all the valid evidence to make their market down who literally cheat their customers.

            I had placed order
            # MGUO[protected] [Rs.1030] for which i had paid full online payment at the time of order.
            But still, the delivery guy took cash from my flatmate in my absence.
            She was asked for payment of Rs 1030, unaware that the payment has already done, and most of all having a trust feeling on BigBasket services, she paid in cash.
            A day later as we realised that we have paid twice for the order, we had complained over phone multiple times, the coordinators were Mamta and Prashant.We were asked to wait for a day to confirm with delivery boy. When we called back the response was "Delivery boy denies that he took cash". And since customer care cannot confirm the truth nothing can be done.
            We have also sent an email regarding this complaint, nothing was done on that also. I am highly dissatisfied with the customer care response and services. I am attaching Mail response. PFA

              The time of delivery of my order was 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm. We waited till 9:55 pm and called the customer care of Big Basket to which they replied that it is not yet 10 and that your order will be delivered. It just didn't get delivered and neither were we given any intimation about the same. I called the customer care again at 10:30 pm and the auto-voice message was that the call centre is closed, please write to us at [protected]@bigbasket.com.

              Next day morning I get an auto-generated message that your order will be delivered today between 7 to 10 pm. What if we are not there at home today. The order was not delivered on the day we wanted it. I had guests coming at my place the other day and the order was placed accordingly for that purpose.

              Atleast an intimation & proper response from the company would have been appreciable. Not sure if I will get my order today too or not. Disappointed with their services.

                I bought vegetables for the first time in Big Basket. First, I was surprised to see capsicum in the size of a coconut. Today, I washed Spinach (palak) and was shocked to see water color turning green and the leaves were slippery. After washing 5 times, the water color still remained green which I believe has been treated with chemicals, hence the color. I also bought broad beans which was full of worms. As a customer, I am very disapointed with the worst standards of the vegetables delivered by Big Basket. I am attaching a picture for your reference and bear in mind, this picture is after 5th wash of Palak. Either stop selling vegetables or sell good ones. But please don't cheat the customers who buy products from your website. This is not the way to do business.

                  After 3 bad experiences, I have decided not to order from big basket again. I once bought mozerella cheese and it was stale when i opened it just a week from when it was delivered. Thinking of it as a one time thing, I let that go. I placed an order with cash on delivery option, and they did not deliver it in the given time slot, they automatically rescheduled it and gave a slot that is inconvenient and i had to get it cancelled. Just few days back i placed another order, again cash on delivery and they did not deliver. No intimation, nothing. I ended up calling the customer service and they say they will give me another slot, it was a technical difficulty. They put me on hold and finally tell me that they do not have the stock at all. Why take the order if they don't have the slot. Why fool your customers and waste their time. I am thoroughly disappointed with their service and decided on placing this complaint.

                    Its better to buy groceries @nearby shops rather than relying on online services. Because they don't know what they are doing.

                    If you rely on bigbasket you will definitely die with hunger :-) :-p

I have called there call center and launch complaint but it is now 10 days and nobody has contacted me back. I also posted a complaint on their website.                       Hi, My complaint has been resolved. I called on Big basket call center and talked to the floor supervisor. I got a call from a Pune local no. 020 67386301. He said my money would be refunded in wallet within 5 mins and from there they will deduct it and transfer to my account. I got my full amount 4355 in my BB wallet then it got deducted again to transfer it to my bank account. I hope I got this amount in my bank in 7 days.

                      I got refund in Big basket wallet. From there BB team said would be credited to bank account.

                        I Ordered for the first time and they did not deliver within 2 hours as mentioned in the Website. Called 3 times in 1 hour, every time they told they are tracking. And After 2 hours which is 4 hours from the time I placed the order I got a call to inform that the items which was ordered is out of stock. It is really disgusting and a very bad Customer Service

                          Hi I'm not here to complain about big basket products or delivery, I'm here to tell the big basket HR'S and management, 4 months back a person joined in big basket as a cashier
                          In white field hub & is now working in ayyappanagar hub for fixed salary he was the person who joined work with empty hands and now by making fraud in big basket he has done by 45 to 50 lakhs amount, it may sounds funny but he with his colleagues made more forgeries like dealing in van amount, return products, wantedly putting as damaged products, and sodexo etc., this is y big basket customers r very depressed by miss understanding this is a serious matter HR'S and Management please take care that person is also brought site of 40 lakhs in byappanahalli near hoskote, and also giving amount for daily rotation i[censored] don't believe me u can enquire in background, i[censored] guys don't take it seriously ill definitely prove it by showing evidence to CEO Hari Menon the same way hope u take an action, y I'm writing it here bcuz everyone must know about it and no action results in media news and finally his name is Seena cashier in ayyappanagar big basket hub

                            I had ordered few groceries in the morning and the delivery was expected to be at 7:05 in the evening and it was delayed by 10 mins and I was happy enough to enough to receive the products but here is the problem, the company brags so much about packing and stuff when I got, it was the worst packing I've ever seen and the delivery person is giving the products one by one in hand and this company can't give a cover but they give enough ads about reliability, delivery and all which is a total nonsense, so I ordered a Doritos nacho chips and the the chips was all broken and powdered and literally no air and with this I was supposed to receive a free Pepsi which I dint receive so when asked about the Pepsi to the delivery man, he said he had no idea at all. So this is what big basket is where they don't have a cover to pack and deliver.

                                Each time I by, they deduct from wallet saying it's for additional weight of vegetables. .but same happens even when I order flour etc and no vegetables or fruit..It is cheating

                                  I've made an order on bigbasket.com just like many other times. The order delivered on March 5, 2016, with order No: MCO[protected] should contain following items:
                                  1.2*6 cocojal coconut water bottles-200ml each-360 rs in total
                                  2.6 little hearts packets-rs 10 each-60 rs in total
                                  delivery-20rs
                                  Total amount paid-440 Rupees.

                                  The order delivered has following items only:
                                  1.2 cocojal coconut water bottles
                                  2.6 little hearts packets
                                  The above items are received by my friend Varun Bharadhwaj Gurugubelli as I was out in Zaitoon, IIT Madras, Chennai in a meeting.
                                  Missing items:10 cocojal coconut water bottles.

                                  It is to be noted that they often deliver this cocojal bottles as 1 bottle instead of 1 (pack of 6) cocojal coconut water bottles. This can be verified with my previous orders with bigbasket.com and my complaints and their replacement of these missing items. They've provided me with the missing items each time but not this time.

                                  I've called the customer care of bigbasket.com through mobile Ph.No:+[protected] on following times:
                                  1.March 5, 2016 8:08 P.M.
                                  2.March 9, 2016 9:03 P.M. Complaint No:5506031
                                  3.March 11, 2016 3:04 P.M. Complaint No:5588771
                                  4.March 18, 2016 2:13 P.M. Complaint No:5741871

                                  It is said that these calls may be recorded for training purposes. The information that I'm going to say can be verified based on my calls anyway.

                                  The reply from the team is different each time I call them. Once they said that they've verified the mistake and are ready to refund missing items value of 300 Rs and additional 50% amount 150Rs of missing items cost according to company policy. Similar things were told each time. They always say that they will get back to me in 5 minutes and never call.

                                  The call cost is exorbitantly high for this customer care number: +[protected]. This call cost of all the calls is exceeding my refund amount for each new call of mine. And this is wasting lot of my personal and professional time disturbing my daily life. The whole purpose of making an online purchase to make my life more peaceful is completely lost in this process.

                                  So, I would request you to get my money refunded with a penalty as they incurred so much problem to my life wasting time and money:
                                  Missing items cost:300 Rs
                                  Refund according to company 50% policy:150 Rs
                                  Call costs: 50 Rs approximately, might differ from the exact value as I don't have call cost database due to prepaid sim.
                                  Penalty for personal losses

                                  I would request a total amount of Rs 10, 000 for the penalty of these crimes of intending to steal my money and making false promises and cheating me. Again I would like to emphasize that all these calls might be recorded as said during my call to customer care at all the above mentioned times.

                                  Please do ensure that I get rightfully what is mine and punish the wrongdoers so that things like this do not repeat.

                                      This will definitely be the first and last time I am ever gonna order anything from these scamsters. The delivery took a full 24 hours . What's the point of having a home delivery option when a person can go to a nearby vendor and get things within a minute. I made a payment online via debit card and its been almost 24 hours since the product arrived. inspire of various calls to the customer service, I was subjected to various excuses by the representatives and a supervisor (Mr.Prasad). absolutely horrendous service. I reckon the way you guys are dealing your customers, you'll probably be a 'has been' company within sometime. Grofers and Askmebazaar do a much better job than you guys.

                                        I placed an order from bigbasket mobile app on thu 17 mar 2016.

                                        Date on incident: 17 march 2016

                                        I placed an order on 17 mar morning and got a confirmation message at 10:04 am and got a confirmation message that "your order #dx-mbo[protected] will be delivered on before thu 17 mar 2016, 12.34pm.

                                        I was expecting delivery on time, so that i can go to my work at 2 pm.
                                        Then the delivery guy came around 1 pm for delivery but delivered wrong order. Then the customer care cancelled and re-placed the order and confirmed the delivery will be done by max 2 pm.

                                        I called on multiple numbers to understand the delay in delivery. But nobody responded well and calls were disconnected. That was quite unethical behaviour.

                                        After following up again and again, the order was finally delivered by 4.30 pm. And following the delay, i had to took a leave from my work.

                                        Major issues:
                                        1. There is no option to cancel the order
                                        2. There is no way to track the order.
                                        3. The delivery team should verify the order to be delivered before delivery.
                                        BigBasket.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
