Up till 3 months ago I had a positive experience with Big Basket. The last time I ordered, my delivery never showed up in spite of making follow up calls. Eventually, I cancelled the order. Today out of 20 items, 4 were missing and 3 were damaged. Luckily, I had not paid by card. On calling customer service, I was told I will get my delivery at the 'next available slot' which was 24 hours later... RIDICULOUS. They mess up the order and instead of immediate replacement, I'm made to wait. My local store might charge me a bit more but the service and quality is way better. Will not ever be using Big Basket again and will be posting my review on all sites possible. They need to take responsibility for their poor quality and unreliability. Absolutely unacceptable!

    My order bbo[protected] was ordered on 10th and delivered on 12th
    May 2016.In the one kg of capsicum ordered more than 75% was rotten.
    The bendi sent was not tender and could not be used. Also fresho idli
    Batter sent was more than 3 days old. If this is the quality why order
    From big basket. I also submitted feedback report and there was no
    Response for it. One of my previous orders was delivered late and
    Inspite of calling up there was no response.

    Bigbasket.com — Fruits -out of stock after purchased

    I have ordered banana for 5 kg. after 2 days its showing cancelled and out of stock this is not the way of customer friendly. i hate this, i never shop in big basket.

    now they called an telling different silly silly reasons.
    I was delivered rotten cauliflower twice. O was available at home once to return it but am not always at home when the delivery is made. This time the guy who delivered did not call. The number of mangoes are fewer than what I had ordered and in bad condition

      Carried out a netbanking transaction at which got a message that I was eligible for a 20% discount voucher for BB. Signed up for BB and placed my order. Tried to apply voucher but amount was not deducted from Bill amount. Contacted customer care: 1. Was told that voucher was applicable only thru netbanking/ bank credit or debit card. Tried with my credit card. Didn't work. Called customer care again. 2. Was told only netbanking would work. I asked them to confirm given my first communication with them. Was put on hold for 4 minutes while the lady went to confirm. Call got disconnected. 3. Called again when voucher didn't work again. This time was told that there was a minimum order!!! None of these terms and conditions were clarified either by the bank or by BB initially. Why was I not informed of the minimum ordr when I first called. My order would have been in view of the customer care officials. If BB can not honour its commitments it should not make any offers! Highly unprofessional and dissatisfactory service!

      Same issue happened with me. They gave me 4 different stories. First they told me that I used Citrus wallet, which I proved I did not. Then they said that offer is valid only on payzapp, which is untrue. Then they said the minimum amount is 1500 instead Of Rs. 1000, which the HDFC site itself didn't agree with. Finally their supervisor told me that the coupon is expired and it's not big basket's fault so nothing can be done.

      Dry mosambi was provided, very little juice was found after squeezing. Very bad service.

      Recently i have purchased 41 moto e mobiles, even single device does not giving battery backup

        If you are shopping on big basket, be careful about the product pictures. They may show you picture of superior quality seedless grapes, but actually deliver you inferior quality grapes with seeds. This is what happened with us. After we complained, they offered to take back the deceptively sold grapes. But when it came to actually taking it back, they stopped responding to our mails. It is a pity that such a reputed site is resorting to such cheap deceptions. (Complaint ticket no: 6826466, may 10, 2016)

          I had placed my order on the 8th of May to be delivered on 9th May between 5 to 7.30 slot.

          on 9th May I not recvd any call or product which I ordered. and very next day when I checked it online it shows delivered it to me. I called the customer care thrice but they unable to answer me too and also unable to handed over the person who over senior there.

          The order was cancelled automatically and I got a call from Big Basket at 9.30 stating my order could not be delivered.
          Post which I called the customer service, they just said sorry for the inconvenience and didn't nothing about it, when I asked to transfer the call to the senior the call was dropped.
          very 2nd day again they rescheduled the delivery after lots of discussion and again in evening the same problem but this time they called me and say that the order cannot be delivered to you because o[censored]nknown reason.
          What a cheap/bad experience I have faced I cannot explain

            We pay a bit extra to bigbasket everytime compared to other local shops. For each delivery we receive a low quality item from bigbasket. Everytime I have to call them and get the refund and this process is never ending. Twice I escalated to higher level support and someone had promised for a call back and I never received it. Everytime I call I receive the same response saying 'We are sorry. We will take a complaint' But I never got any track of any of the complaints in the application or they never share the complaint ID. They promise everytime that they will check with the team who is responsible for packing the products. But it never happens. I am wondering they do not even check the products before packing /sending for delivery.

              I ordered products for express delivery at indiranagar on 3rd May and it was delivered. I again placed an order for express delivery on 10th May and BB calls me and tells me that due to a technical glitch it shows as express delivery to the indiranagar area while in actual it's not available. I have a 1 month baby at home and no help and I take help from Big basket hoping it could ease my situation but I am so sorry to say that your service for the first time is screwed up. Thank you and this will be my last time I will have ordered. I will be uninstalling your app and it's good bye.

                The mrp as printed on the pack is rs. 650/- but the on the face of the carton it is printed "rs. 250 off, now rs. 400".

                The price charged by you should have been rs. 400/- not rs. 650/-. Kindly look into the matter and let me know.

                  Every-time i place an order through express delivery, the order is cancelled by their operational team without customer's consent, and the lame reason given by them always remains the same : due to some technical difficulty we have cancelled your order.

                  It has happened each and every single time we have opted the products to be deliver by express delivery. And the interesting part is that the person who cancel the order is not able to cite the specific details of the "technical difficulty" they face. This is so frustrating. I don't understand why have they devised these two fancy terms - express delivery and standard delivery, if they mean the same. And when we try to reach out to manager, we are told after a few minutes of waiting that he is busy and can not attend the call.

                  Desirable resolution:
                  1. Please find a resolution for the technical difficulty, which keeps occurring over and over again, and if you can't, just remove the express delivery option from the website.
                  2. If you need to cancel the order due to some "technical difficulty", do the customer know in advance so that they can make alternative arrangements.

                    So i made two orders j-mdvo[protected] and mdvo[protected], i clubbed them together thus providing bigbasket with 3 days total to gather my stuff together, this morning this guy, whom i was under the impression was mute because he didnt speak a word to me came and open this basket, out popped a bunch of random things from a 1 kg besan(Wtf?) to vicks vapourub to a patanjali oil, an agarbatti and wait for it, a red sindoor dabba...Wtf does bigbasket think im cooking for dinner tonight???I checked the order form hoping it belonged to kangana ranaut going by that guy's interview and to my horror, it had my name.
                    If the delivery guy and the stuff inside my bag werent creepy enough, i asked the guy to wait while i grabbed my phone, i return n he's gone!!!I am spooked, i am baffled and im sure my house needs a thorough cleansing or a good ol havan. Ether i time travelled into a sasural simar ka episode or i was dreaming or bigbasket has a weird sense of humor, dear big basket, please line up my orginal order and shove it up you kno wer...And now they blocked me lol.

                      I had placed an order on 1st may, 2016 and i was about to receive order on 2nd may, 2016 between 9.30am to 12.00pm. I didn't receive any delivery and bigbasket called me at 9.14 that i won't be able to receive order as there is some issue in technical operations. They cancelled my order and placed a new order which would have been delivered on 4th may, 2016 between 7.00 am to 9.30am. I didn't received any delivery and also was not informed that i wont be receiving the delivery. I called them at 10.30am and they said that due to some operational issues, i wont be able to receive delivery. I asked them to deliver on 4th may, 2016 itself and they said that i will receive delivery between 5.00pm to 7.30pm. But after sometime my order was again cancelled and placed new order to be delivered on 5th may, 2016 between 7.30pm to 10.00pm and bigbasket didn't informed the same. When i tried to call them they answered that due to warehouse operations issue, i would not be able to receive any delivery for the same day and also no slots are available. Everytime when i tried to call them, every persons are saying different reasons. Instead of trying put efforts on delivery they were just trying to say some or other reasons.
                      I wont recommend anyone to place order from bigbasket. Worst delivery service.

                      1-yur custmer care people are litrally misbehaving.
                      2- you offers many payment offers like paytm and mobiwiki cash back. But don't clarify terms n contion. Now a days u offer 15% cadh back but max cash back ammount not specified. This is sheer cheating.
                      Better than paying for bigbasket you can give that money to charity. atleast you would have done a good deed. That Hari fellow is now enjoying with your money

                        Okay.. this is with regards to account with the registered phone number - [protected].

                        Did not recieve any of my orders from the 1st of april.. all aorders were cancelled.
                        example -
                        4h april - slot selected 7:30-10am..
                        order gets postponed to 5th, then 6th april.. and at 8pm on the 6th i am told the order is cancelled.

                        I ask for a paytm account tranfer of all the money blocked in my bigbasket wallet as all wer prepaid orders - did not do so in 7 days.. post which the asked me to let them give me cash in hand.
                        1st time slot in which i was told an agent would come and hand me over my cash - 18th april 5-7pm... no one comes, i call bigbasket and complain
                        2nd - tuesday before noon is what im promised.. no one comes...
                        tuesday ends no one comes..
                        wednesday (the 21st of april, 2016) ends and nobody comes to give me my Rs811/- back!

                        Im still awaiting a cash in hand refund..

                        this saga has been continuing from the 1st of april, 2016.

                          I placed the order on 18th apr to get my order in morning 7-9:30 am on 20th. It's already 10:30 and the customer care keeps telling me 20 mins, 10 mins...I have to step out to pick my son from school and I am stupidly waiting for this order. Even if you refund 10% on my order for late delivery (as big basket promised to compensate) it is not going to help me. Also I had placed the order to avail express delivery for 13 orders but everything is dispatched under one order. Will never ever use big basket again, neither would recommend to anyone.

                            I am thoroughly disappointed with food quality delivered by bigbasket. It has been more than 2 times that bigbasket failed to deliver frozen product in correct frozen temperature like meat and paneer.
                            Green vegetables are not fresh but yellowish. In this order we are talking about fresh coriander.

                            These guys trying to play with health of people. For home delivery of products they need to maintain certain temperature to store the food to retain its freshness.

                            In past I got fake promises to quality control in similar situation.

                              Order number dx-bguo[protected] was supposed to be delivered by 10th april through express delivery but was never delivered even after full upfront payment of 267 rupees. I contacted bigbasket customer service several times. They acknowledged with ticket no:6192031 and said they are looking into it. No progress or update for more than 4 days. Very unprofessional service. This merchant is unreliable and definitely not to be trusted with payment before delivery is received.

                                Big basket may employ shahrukh khan for their promotions, but one day in your order you will face severe service issues, when you will be delivered rotten tomatoes (Shown in picturea attached); i think big basket wants to kill india by making us eat these rotten tomatoes;

                                But i order from bigbasket and it was huge error. My order which was to be delivered at 5:00 pm on 9st april but the delivery boy called me on 10 th april with wrong address and he told me that he will deliver order at 5:00 pm on 11 th april.

                                My order is already 2 days late but i am not sure big basket with its disorganised and disgusting management will ever deliver this order.

                                Shameless big basket did not apologise .
                                Do not shop from bigbasket ever.

                                But i order from bigbasket and it was huge error. My order which was to be delivered at 7:00 pm on 1st april but the delivery boy came at 11:00 pm in drunkard condition, that i told him to get out and come tomoorrow as i could not allow him in in that condition.

                                The order was delivered next morning.

                                  We have placed an order of vegetables (order no-#MPC[protected] on 5th April and its been 4 days since we are waiting for this order to be delivered to us. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service is being provided to me. During these days we even continuously followed up with customer executive and we got assurances each day. On 6th we got rescheduled to 6th evening, when we contacted on 7th morning it was again rescheduled to 7th evening. We waited and waited and it was again not delivered. We contacted again and then it was rescheduled to 8th morning and then to evening. As of now still it is NOT delivered to us. Finally today we cancelled this order.

                                  Can we have some strict action against these peoples.

                                    I am a new customer of big basket, but badly disappointed by the services when placing my 2nd order. Order was to be delivered on 6th April (Wed evening: 5pm to 7:30pm slot). but no updates till 7:45pm.
                                    1) i called customer care and was told it will be delivered in next 15-20 mins.
                                    2) i waited till 8:30pm and again called. they blamed it on me and told me that they tried to contact me at 7:45pm but as i was not at home it was not delivered. i told them to check their logs as i had called them around same time and was very much at home. then customer care person said that there is operational issue and it will be delivered 7th April morning.
                                    3) no delivery on 7th morning. and no communication
                                    4) on 7th evening i get a call that it will positively be delivered on 8th morning
                                    5) no delivery on 8th morning again though i got a call from delivery man that he is close to my place at around 9:25am
                                    6) i checked customer care again at around 10:30am (today) and was told that it will be delivered tomorrow now.
                                    so frustrating this is. i went ahead to get it cancelled and plan to not use big basket again. the services are pathetic and there is no commitment that is adhered to. no updates for delays are sent

                                      Idhayam mantra oil was charged more than 20rs from the actual MRP. It is illegal to make money more than MRP. How can the bigbasket itself assign some random amount and sellto customers? Idhayam normal oil was rs.179 instead they charged 184 as normal price. Even though i have raised the issue to their notice, no response from their side. Trying to put a case as I have all the valid evidence to make their market down who literally cheat their customers.

                                        Order No. # MGUO[protected]
                                        I had placed order
                                        # MGUO[protected] [Rs.1030] for which i had paid full online payment at the time of order.
                                        But still, the delivery guy took cash from my flatmate in my absence.
                                        She was asked for payment of Rs 1030, unaware that the payment has already done, and most of all having a trust feeling on BigBasket services, she paid in cash.
                                        A day later as we realised that we have paid twice for the order, we had complained over phone multiple times, the coordinators were Mamta and Prashant.We were asked to wait for a day to confirm with delivery boy. When we called back the response was "Delivery boy denies that he took cash". And since customer care cannot confirm the truth nothing can be done.
                                        We have also sent an email regarding this complaint, nothing was done on that also. I am highly dissatisfied with the customer care response and services. I am attaching Mail response. PFA
