this birla people also cheat me, thay told me u pay 20, 000 and get policy .in that policy u will get lone of 2, 00, 00 without any interest... Then till 4month thay was tell me your money get u in 2 days and that 2 days not come till now. I m belong from lower class family n that time I want lone in that period its very hard to arrange 20, 000but I arrange it.     Today I had recieved a call from [protected], which are showing as a birla sunlife executive and told me about a attractive policy offer on the other hand we call to birla sunlife customer care immediately the he said that was a fake call and also said that we are not provide any kind of insurance policy. so i want to know more about this number for future awreness form all the people who are innocent...

      Hi, I had a Birla dream plan policy with annual premium about 57000. I paid premiums for three years. One day the person(Pankaj - Birla Sun employee) who used to manage my Birla investment came to my home & told me this dream plan is not doing well so company is suggestion such investor to go for some other plan. He told me the amount at my present policy will be directly deposited to new policy & I do not need to pay a single poisa from my pocket. At the end of 3rd year I will get a lump sum back.That happened in Nov 2012. Immediaelt after that I went to Bangalore for my new job. Few days a go I got a letter from Sun Birla saying a premium of Rs 119298.01 is due. Please help me to sort out this problem. Regards Bratin Das.         We have initiated 2 policies in 2008, one we were paying 1 Lakh Every year and other (Policy No:[protected] every year. In Policy 1 we paid a total of INR 325000 for 3 years and there was no return on Investment at all. The advisor Mr Dcruz informed us there will be good growth every year and the polciy is flexible and does not depend on the market. however when we questioned the return on investment we were told this money is depends on NAV and keeps changing constantly. So we planned to surrender the policy in 2012 and invest elsewhere, but the amount we were getting back was only INR 338000 which was not even 4% growth, the benefit of INR 13000 only. Since there was no return on investments we withdrew the policy and took back our money. In 2nd Policy Policy No:[protected] Classic Premier, we wanted to withdraw the policy in 2012 itself after paying a total of 162000, but they were returning us back INR 165000 and charging us surrender charges of INR 3000. We approached the Malad Branch, Mumbai with our policy documents, and when inquired how we can get rid of the surrender charges, they said you need to wait a minimum of 5 years to avoid any charges plus you will get good returns after 5 years completion as all policies have min lock in 5 yrs.After lot of convincing we decided not to surrender it in 2012 and wait for 5 yrs completion, Although we had intentions to surrender that and reinvest in GOVT schemes we waited for 5 years completion. This policy competes 5 years in Oct 2013 and now in Nov 2013 when asked what is the fund value we are again being slapped with SURRENDER CHARGES OF INR 3000. the fund value shows INR 179617 on the online statement and over this amount we are being charged INR 3000 for surrendering as the call centre informs us there will be no surrender charges till 6 yrs. HOW CAN THE TERMS KEEP CHANGING ? This was ridiculous to hear and after disputing with them they say we will loddged a complaint for you and you will get a call withing 15 days. Is this how you treat your customers and what commitments are given are not at all meant. WE HAVE NOT EVEN GOT A GOOD RETURN AND OVER THAT PAYING SURRENDER CHARGES ? REQUEST YOU ALL TO AVOID MAKING POLICIES WITH BIRLA SUNLIFE AS OUR MONEY IS PRECIOUS YOU CAN NOT LEAVE IT IN HANDS OF SUCH CHEATS WHO CANNOT STAND TO THIER COMMITMENTS. I WILL DEFINATELY EXPECT SOME SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM AND WANT ALL CUSTOMERS TO BE MORE CONSCIOUS AND AWARE BEFORE INVESTING THIER MONEY.

          Myself Kishor R Sharnagat had forcefully purchased two life insurance policy, plan Birla Vision from Birla Sun Life Insurance company. My policy nos. are[protected] dated 17/06/2013 another in my wife’s name Sangeeta Kishor Sharnagat, policy no.[protected] dated 10/08/2013 . I am based at Vadodara Gujarat. This policy was suggested by your advisors Mr. Saurabh Sharma ([protected] ), Ravi Yadav([protected] ), Ms. Kanika ([protected]), Ms Puja Thakur. Your advisors called me on behalf of Aditya Birla Group. They first offered me personal loan of Rs 25 lacks. Against the personal loan of Rs 25 lacks they forced me to get life insurance policy for sum assured of Rs25 lacks. They cheated me saying that the same policy will be assigned in the name of aditya birla group and loan with 0% interest will be granted immediately after issuance of policy and completion of certain formalities from Mumbai head office within 45 days. They sent to me a person Mr. Nayan from Birla sun life Baroda branch for collection of application form & cheque. They assured that once the policy is assigned in the name of Aditya Birla group, then I will not be entitled for any future benefits in the policy. Later another broker name Shreedhar Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd. ( [protected] ) called me for verification of details. They asked the details exactly opposite what your advisors told me. Your advisors smartly guided me what to tell to the verification calls & do not disclose that we had offered the loan against this policy. This way they have completed the procedure. They keep on calling me number of times till the free look period is over. The brokers and the advisors are met together and formed the conspiracy. After some days, Ms Kanika told that there is small query in the process and for resolving the same I need to show transaction of Rs 50, 000 in the Birla sun life account. For that she offered me to get another policy with premium of Rs 50, 000. She assured that the same policy will be cancelled and amount will be refunded back alongwith the personal loan. After some days she has gone on long leave. Then Ms Puja Thakur came in picture and she sent two forms detailing that I am satisfied with the terms and conditions of the policies. They forcefully got filled and signed forms for both the policies by me. Lateron they stopped picking my phones. Even Mr. Saurabh Sharma, Mr. Ravi Yadav, Ms Kanika & Ms Puja Thakur never responded to my calls. Till date I have not got any loan or refund money for my policy as assured by them. I am filing complaint against all these cheaters as well as Birla Sun life Insurance and Shredhar Brokers. Birla Sun life should be responsible and should take action against such advisors and brokers who are cheating the innocent & needy people. Their hard earned money they got invested in the policies by luring the customers offering loans, gifts, bribes etc. I am interested to know who got the commission towards these policies?               Dear Sir/Mam, The representative of M/S Birla Sun Life Insurance Co. Ltd had committed me to pay the loan against my plan. But after 04 months later they are not responding. The company representative Mr. Amit contacted me thru phone and promised to arrange the loan against plant but now he is neither picking my phone nor reply. He also committed that if i will pay Rs 2000 extra then company will reimbursed the medical expenses without any hospitalization after producing the bills. But when i contact to Birla Sun Life customer Care they refused for the same and say sorry for wrong commitemnt. Here i am requesting you, kindly do the needful against my complaint.                 Dear Sir/Madam,

                I have already been done several correspondences with Birla Sun Life against my Policy No.[protected] on following issue;
                My total contribution for the policy is Rs. 9, 22, 770.00 (monthly installment @ Rs.5200.00) against BIRLASUNLIFE- VISION LIFE INSURANCE PLAN - 15 Years, but Rs. 7, 20, 770.00s as shown sum assured. I do not understand why an amount of Rs. 2, 02, 17.00 (Rs. 922941 – Rs. 720770) less recorded in the policy. Normally benefits calculated on sum assured amount as per the policy. What is the basic/base calculation and if there is any wrong calculation, kindly inform to me. A calculation sheet of the policy is attached on the above.

                On today an amount of Rs.5200.00 has been debited from my Bank account under ECS under disputed case which has been stated above.

                Therefore you are requested kindly to STOP the AUTO DEBIT SYSTEM by ECS and refund the amount to my bank account No. [protected] immediately.

                  Kind Attention - Amit Kumar TL & Customer care manager.

                  Firstly I am absolutely disappointed with your most pathetic customer
                  service staffs. This day I really regret of choosing Birla sun life
                  mutual fund for my financial planning’s, and I assure you that I will
                  never come back to this company for any damn thing. And I will also
                  make sure to tell my such a bad experience with your company.
                  Now my problem – I have some units invested in BSLMF frontline equity
                  plan G. I went online to redeem my unit as the markets were on 1 yrs
                  high. To my surprise I see that you guys are applying me the NAV for
                  17-Oct though I am redeeming all my units today ???
                  I was shocked ….. Because I wanted to get the NAV for today 18-Oct.
                  All worried... I called up your call centre and spoke to Harvinder
                  Singh. (this was my biggest mistake)
                  He was so confused with his own product that he couldn't give me an
                  answer till the market closing.
                  I insisted him to double check with a supervisor as online information
                  was something totally different.
                  He was so dumb, couldn't speak properly and I had to explain all my
                  grievances again and again.
                  By the time he came with the answer, it was already late and I HAD
                  MISSED THE GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY because of your staffs carelessness and
                  lack of product information. I don’t know what type of people are
                  recruited in this company and what training is provided by you all.

                  Next I called again to complaint and spoke to Geetha (not sure if I am
                  spelling it correctly)
                  I demanded to speak to a Supervisor and she kept me on mute / hold for
                  20 MINUTES ???? does it really take 20 minutes to speak to a damn
                  supervisor in your company.
                  Now this is what I call a pure PATHETIC customer service.

                  After speaking to Amit Kumar TL he asked me to send the screen shot of
                  the online screen which showed that It will apply the NAV for 17-Oct.
                  And here it is attached.
                  I want a proper explanation of my full complaint with regards to your
                  website, your staff(Harvinder Singh and Geetha)
                  Next I want to get all my units redeemed at todays 18-Oct NAV OR I
                  need a compensation to what I had to go through. This is purely your
                  mistake and I will not take this financial loss because of your
                  mistake.
                  Give me any dividend or bonus units??? I don’t care … that’s your
                  problem and up to you how you deal with it.
                  I am awaiting your reply within 24 hours as promised by TL Amit Kumar.

                    I am holding a policy of BSLI since 28 Jan 2009, of Medi calim namely UHB, which gives me and my wife a cover of RS. 4.8 Lacs as of now to both o[censored]s. However they failed to provide us the services. It has happened twice.

                    1. Last year when my wife got admitted for Medical Emergency of a removal of her uterus due to fibroids,[protected], when Hospital at Bareilly requested for pre authorization, Initially they refused by saying policy is lapsed due to No n Payment of premium, later send a authorization for Rs 15, 000.00 against Rs. 30, 000.00 After having a tough time and fighting here and there I could get a letter for the same from them on 28-8-12.

                    2. This year, in the month of March 19, 2013, I meet a road accident and got admitted at Moradabad and then refereed to Delhi for medical management. I got admitted in Max Hospital at Patpar Ganj, again when the hospital proceed my request they did not respond for some time. And after some time send a letter for Rs 50, 000.00 (how ever as per the bond) I was eligible for Rs 60, 000.00. Later when I took up this matter with IRDA they have given an incorrect information that they have authorized for Rs 60, 000.00.

                    Tell me where should I approach now under such circumstances.

                      Date: 18/01/2013 To, The Branch Manager, Birla Sun Life Insurance Chakala Branch, Andheri, Mumbai Subject: Double Cross / Cheating of Birla Sun Life Policy No –[protected] Dear Sir This is to inform you that one of your Advisor who has double cross the document for the policy no –[protected]. I Mr Sanjay Soni, now the policy owner of this policy already discuss this matter in your office for the same with Dr Yashwant Yadav. I want to make policy for my father for Pension Plan as per discuss with advisor having Mobile – [protected]. I had provided the document as per requirement of the advisor only and he has done the mistake for this. So I provided document of my father and myself as a nominee. I had already informed to him that I will be only nominee of this policy and the owner of the policy holder will be my Father, so he said that’s why they required my detail and document for further process. Agent has double cross the document. He had made policy in my name instead of my father. On 03/12/2012 when I received the policy at my home address, I informed the agent regarding this and also confirmed by the customer care. Agent has told me that provide me the document so that he will make change and provide the required policy in proper manner. I had handed over the same and before handing over the policy I had made photo copy of the same which is lying with me. Since[protected], I am regularly calling to Agent at above mobile no and the advisor of the policy Ms Neha Thakkar (Same Branch), and one more person who has come with Agent assistant having mobile no – [protected] no one is replying for this incident. So on 03/01/2013, I had visited on your branch as discuss the matter with Dr Yashwant Yadav. He told me to keep quiet for two to three more day so that all matter can be hear by him and he can take necessary action regarding this policy. I was gone out of Mumbai for my official work that’s why this letter has been kept pending. So I request you to look into this matter very seriously so that the same could not be revising in future with others. Looking for a great result against this matter from side. I am also writing this issue to IRDA if no result comes out.                         Sub: Misssell of policy Policy No:[protected] Respected Sir, Myself Bapi Roy has received your response by mail on www.[protected]@gmail.com wherein the things were mentioned that is not accordingly my expectation and too surprise and shocked to get your response due to below mention reasons:- 1st; Your Agent(MrAkash Deep Chatterjee) misguided me during purchasing your policy[protected] to say that the policy is a fixed Deposit plan and you get good return after maturity. I trusted him because of good reputation of your company and on the other hand, even my English is too poor,so I could not understand the language of application form, which was in English. 2nd ; Myself Bapi Roy is under the employee of private companies where my annual income was near about INR 55,000-65,000 that time(2008) and there were total Eight members into my family including me.I was single income of source in my whole family ,so just think and suppose that ,is this possible for me to afford the premium per year till maturity period of that policy after serving the family’s duties. As I have already said, that my English language is too poor but application (Policy) form’s language was in English. So I was totally depends on your agent who misguide me to say that this policy is Fixed Deposits Policy, means you will have to pay one time premium and after maturity there will be good return. But when I received a letter from your company in 2009 where in this was said that you will have to pay premium every year till maturity period. 3rd; I tried to contact that agent but he had changed his mobile number. So, couldn’t. 4th ; I tried to complain verbally and in written to the branch office (Kolkata) of Birla Sunlife Insurance. But, I did not get any positive feedback yet from there. 5th ; I complained to customer care of the company and complain no:REF NO[protected] DATED 21/04/2009 , but do not get any kinds of positive feedback from there. Thus, I haveshared enough things how your Agent misguide me and did not get any kinds of assistance from your company (Birla Sunlife Insurance)against my complains. That’s why I am requesting you please invite your Agent who misguides me. I want to prove my said things in front of you. Finally I hope that you will take a welfare steps for your Policy holder who was cheated by your Agent. Thanking you,

We would like to inform you that your policy was issued as per the application and illustration received by us. In case, you wish to opt for any amendments you can do so under the Free Look option, that is within 15 days from the date of receipt of the policy document. We noticed that no concern was raised within the Free Look period post receipt of the policy document. Hence we are unable to comply with your request to cancel the policy. Further your policy has been terminated on June 06, 2009 due to non receipt of the revival requirements in last two years of lapsation. Since Cash Surrender Value is nil in this policy, no refund amount shall be paid to you. The email id [email protected] is not registered in our records hence we are unable to provide any financial information or accept requests due to security reasons. This promise was given by ABHISHEK AGARWAL YOUR EXECUTIVE.

                          When i received Policy documents, there was not any concern mediclaim document, i was surprised to see that there was not any document concerned mediclaim.I called immidiately Abhishek Agarwal cell no:[protected], He said yes dont worry within 15 days you will get mediclaim documentts, In this way he was giving me assurances everytime and about fifty times i called him reply was same copany's staff is busy , now march ending staff is busy , now work load is more so all are busy in this way he kept me in darkness.I thought it is BIRLA SUNLIFE COMPANY THEIR EXECUTIVE CAN NOT say lie upto that extent. Now when ever i am calling him cell number is changed or ot available tone is comming.

                          So sir, now I am fed up. and don’t want to continue my policy, return my full amount, though you may say it is too late but it was not my fault, your executive Abhishek AGARWAL KEPT ME IN DARKNESS TILL 20 APRIL EVEN WHEN I CALLED HIM HE SAID STAFF IS BUSY WAIT YOU WILL GET DOCUMENT IN THE FIRST WEEK OF MAY. BUT TILL TODAY I HAVE NOT RECIEVED.
                          When I wrote mail, they sent me letter that you submit Documents along with free look form, cross cheque signed and mentioning name of Policy holder. All these documents were submitted in you branch office in MULUND on 8th June 2013. After submitting these documents we will refund your amount immediately. I have written and posted letter in your concerning offices at Ghodbunder road, Thane. And Elphinston Road Mumbai on dated 6th August 2013. But regret to write till today I have not received refund amount.
                          Now I am sorry to say that I have no other alternate accept to call media and write to grievances cell or to approach consumer court. So please don’t insist me to go up to that extent. Though so far I was quit that Birla Sunlife Insurance Company is a reputed concern as I am having already two policies in my name and my wife Indira’ name.
                          Hope you will refund me policy amount by sending cheque or depositing amount in my ICICI ACOUNT NO:[protected] [ details are already written in free look form].

I Mr Sanjay Soni, now the policy owner of this policy already discuss this matter in your office for the same with Dr Yashwant Yadav. I want to make policy for my father for Pension Plan as per discuss with advisor having Mobile – [protected]. I had provided the document as per requirement of the advisor only and he has done the mistake for this. So I provided document of my father and myself as a nominee. I had already informed to him that I will be only nominee of this policy and the owner of the policy holder will be my Father, so he said that’s why they required my detail and document for further process. Agent has double cross the document. He had made policy in my name instead of my father. On 03/12/2012 when I received the policy at my home address, I informed the agent regarding this and also confirmed by the customer care. Agent has told me that provide me the document so that he will make change and provide the required policy in proper manner. I had handed over the same and before handing over the policy I had made photo copy of the same which is lying with me. Since[protected], I am regularly calling to Agent at above mobile no and the advisor of the policy Ms Neha Thakkar (Same Branch), and one more person who has come with Agent assistant having mobile no – [protected] no one is replying for this incident. So on 03/01/2013, I had visited on your branch as discuss the matter with Dr Yashwant Yadav. He told me to keep quiet for two to three more day so that all matter can be hear by him and he can take necessary action regarding this policy. I was gone out of Mumbai for my official work that’s why this letter has been kept pending. So I request you to look into this matter very seriously so that the same could not be revising in future with others. Looking for a great result against this matter from side.                               Respected Sir,
                              I would like to informed you that myself Mr. Bapi Roy, staying in 619, Shibrampur, K.D. Road, Kolkata: 700 061.
                              My complain is against Birla Sunlife Insurance Ltd. Because I had purchased one policy (Pol.no:[protected] in 2008 and agent’s name is Mr. Akash Deep Chatterjee. This agent was misguide & miss ell me about the features of this policy that time he say that this policy is a Fixed Deposit policy so you need to pay a single premium and after maturity of policy, you will receive a good amount that is why, I purchased the policy of Birla Sunlife Incurance.
                              But, I received a letter after one year where in this was written that I will have to pay premium every year. Thus, I was surprised to read and see all this things and released that I am cheated by the agent of Birla Sunlife Insurance in 2008. Thus, there are some steps which are taken by me to solve the problem and get back my investment.
                              1st I tried to contact that agent but he had changed his mobile number. So, couldn’t.
                              2nd I tried to complain verbally and in written to the branch office (Kolkata) of Birla Sunlife Insurance. But, I did not get any positive feedback yet from there.
                              3rd I complained to customer care of the company and complain no: Ref no[protected] dated 21/04/2009 but do not get any kinds of positive feedback from there.
                              Thus, I had taken lots of steps to solve it after received the letter of Birla Sunlife Insurance. But there is no positive feedback yet from there except harassment. But now, they are replying to say that my policy is lapsed so, your complain is meaningless on policy. Your policy’s is not eligible to get maturity amount.
                              Therefore, I am submitting my complain through this letter. Because, I want to get back my investment amount on justice, because Birla’s agent cheated me.
                              Thus, I am requesting you. Kindly assist me and do the needful things as soon as possible.

In case, you wish to opt for any amendments you can do so under the Free Look option, that is within 15 days from the date of receipt of the policy document. We noticed that no concern was raised within the Free Look period post receipt of the policy document. Hence we are unable to comply with your request to cancel the policy. Further your policy has been terminated on June 06, 2009 due to non receipt of the revival requirements in last two years of lapsation. Since Cash Surrender Value is nil in this policy, no refund amount shall be paid to you. The email id [email protected] is not registered in our records hence we are unable to provide any financial information or accept requests due to security reasons.                                       Dear Sir, My grand father has taken Birla sun life insurance policy No [protected] Dated 25/01/2008 unfortunately he expired 0n 02/06/13, I have submitted the death claim on 11/07/13(receiving enclosed) but when I was accepting a claim money I received a letter on27/07/13 that your claim can not be settled as your policy was terminated on 25/02/13.Sir I would like to know some questions,Q1 If policy was terminated before why we were not informed ?Q2 If policy was terminated before , sir as per my knowledge and law , I should receive the foreclosed amount?Q3 If policy was terminated before how the branch staff accepted the death claim?Q4 Sir as per insurance law the customer should be informed before the termination of policy so that if he wants he can continue it, where is that letter , sms ,or mail?Q5 Sir at last I would like to know that a brand Co. like Birla sun life has no responsibility toward its customer?Q6 My policy was 3 year pay premium mode for which I fully paid.                                       Sir, we have put so many complaints with Birla CGRO & IRDA Token No[protected] Dt 31-Jul-2013,[protected] Dt 01-Aug-2013,[protected] Dt 05-Aug-2013,[protected] Dt 08-Aug-2013,[protected] Dt 22-Aug-2013,[protected] Dt 20-Sep-2013 but company instead of satisfying and giving our death claim is misguiding IRDA & us.

                                      Against our each complaint they are reiterating same response client clarified Policy is terminated & sending case closure request to IRDA. Sir, being a customer of Birla sunlife we are not even liable to know about our money. why company is not responding to our questions? By just saying your policy was terminated before company is free from its responsibility.

                                      How can company terminate a policy without any information and even refunding foreclose amount till now. It’s clearly mentioned in IRDA life insurance Handbook, according to which they have break IRDA guideline.

                                      Sir, as per company’s mail rcv on 20/09/2013 they have stated that policy gets terminated if its fund value comes to less than Rs 10000. In that case my policy was terminated on 25 may 2012 when its fund value comes to Rs 8715.0568(as per BSLI. statement).Than why my policy was continue till 25 feb 2013( according to BSLI) and why I have not rcv any information or foreclosure amount till I submit a claim.

                                      Sir, so plz take necessary action in protection of policy holder interest.With lots of hope

                                        The person in touch with me has introduced himself as employee from BSLI named As Mr. Ashutosh Verma and told me that they offers this special feature policy to me. In the overall deal of first two policies I was offered loan of Rs.9,00,000.00(Nine Lacks Rupees Only) on zero percent interest if I purchase BSLI policies worth Rs. 90000 PA premium. So they have suggested me first two policies. After making payment through document submission they told me to purchase one more policies to comply and proceeding to loan document so I have purchase third policy.

                                        Also during purchase of policies I have been advised from Mr. Ashutosh Verma to do not discuss regarding policy benefits with any one as this is confidential and offers to special limited customer only. During the entire process Mr. Ashutosh Verma has communicated BSLI, Bharuch (Gujarat) office through mail only and Mr. Ronak has collected cheque and all the required document. I have made all payment through cheque from Axis Bank.

                                        But since last three days they do not answer my call and update themselves. So I approach to nearest BSLI branch in Ankleshwar. They have heard my entire problem and suggest me to approach grievance department regarding this matter.

                                        As I have been advice from my local branch office located at Ankleshwar (Gujarat) to approach to grievance department for cancellation of policies and help as these are not being sold as per my (customer) expectation with true information.
                                        I humbly request you to kindly look after matter and take strong action against Shridhar Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. as early as possible. I am eagerly waiting for your positive reply.
