During Diwali season, I received a call from Birla Sun life agents as they introduce themselves as employee of BSL not as agents and calling from Birla Sun life. A lady started explaining to me feature of policy

1. she told me about festive offer of providing one gold coin or 4 years car insurance premium free with this policy as part of scheme for limited time.
2. Also they gave me wrong plan not as i wanted. I wanted short term policy with family medical claim feature. later on i come to know the plan term is 20 years 20 years with hospital rider something which i never wanted.
3. they extract my professional information from me and show me working. truth is i am not working from past one year and now making home. I come to know from Branch that they submitted fake documents of my working which i never submitted.
4. Moreover, I never received policy documents but as per their records policy document has already been dispatched.

I paid premium of 15000/- with lot of mental harassment provided by these agents. They wasted my time in coordination with them for providing of gold coin and policy documents and missed my free-look time of cancellation. Now company is not cancelling the policy. I am left with nothing neither policy papers nor a gold coin.

Please help me in refunding of my money back. I have all evidence of my conversation with these agents of providing me these two things. I can provide names also. Top to bottom staff is involved in the fraud. Name and numbers of agents with whom i was coordinating till the end before applying for cancellation. now i dont receive a call from them at all. When they have to come to collect money they come anywhere and when had to come to deliver gold coin and policy docs they made 100 excuses to not to come.

Please take corrective measures against these agents and the company NetAmbit which encourages them to do such fraud with customers

    Birla Sunlife cheated me through Snowtex Investment Ltd. Before 1 year,Ria Chatterjee called me over phone that Igot a bonus Rs.11,000 as bonus. But I have to buy a policy from Birla Sunlife. I invested Rs.10,000 in Bachat Endowment Plan.Policy no.[protected].I did not get any money.Again called me Soumi Sengupta(mob.no.[protected] over phone and said to invest Rs.10,000 to get whole amount.     I am receiving anonymous calls from the following phone number: [protected] - [protected] - [protected] , I am getting these calls from an anonymous data center, They told me its from BIRLA SUNLIGHT,I told them not to call on this no again , but they keep calling and hence I am loosing my control and its affecting my health, It could become worst if these call center guys take it personaly , they might hurt somebody or me too, if Me or someone else abuses them as a result of harassment from them, I think there was alaW against these calls, I don't know what happened to that law, please do something before anybody gets hurt as the atmosphere in India is very very frustrating because of INFLATION ,CURRUPTION, AND JOBLESSNESS, Request necessary action against such harrassment

      Here Ajay writing you on the behalf of my mother's insurance policy from Birla sun Life Insurance.
      as i m not getting my original policy bond even after reminding them so many times as well as after submitting my duly filled complaint form online on their website. policy login date was in September 2012 with one premium cheque, one cancelled cheque, requisite documents and ID. my coming premium will be in the next month so i m hereby request you to please look into the matter as soon as possible so that i'll get my rights.

        Sub: - Complaint against Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited for the wrong policy vide no. –[protected] on dated 23/12/2008.

        Dear Sir,

        With due respect, I wish to convey that I, Nasim Nowaz son of Nasser Ali Chaudhury of Golahat Nimtola Masjid, PO. – Sripally, Dist. – Burdwan, Pin – 713103, West Bengal having one policy vide no. –[protected] on dated 23/12/2008 with Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited. I have deposited the amount of Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Only) through cheque vide no. 10998 on dated 22/12/2008 for one time investment (Fixed Scheme). But, after having laps of three years, I able to know that the agent of the Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited has deposited my amount for quarterly mode that too in a long term policy Scheme, which is beyond my imagination and control. Upon the request, the Branch Manager of Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited located at Burdwan issued a status co report of the policy on 25/05/2011, which was shown that the policy had been terminated. Subsequently, a letter had been issued by me to the Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited for releasing my amount along with the compensation and mentioned about the misguide, misconduct and miss commitment had done by the Agent for selling your product. Till then, I am just behind them to recover my amount.

        Sir, my appeal is: - “Please make necessary action & arrangement to recover my amount and you please implement some system as such general people may believe & feel comfort to deposit their hard money in your Insurance Company.”

        After waiting a long time, I am lodging this complaint against the connivance with the Insurance Advisor & Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited to your good office. Sir, please treat this matter as serious.

          For the last 6 months, calls from certain numbers, which start with '1409', as for instance,

          [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protect... [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] etc. on my landline number have been disturbing me continuously. The calls come from the companies listed above (Birla Sun Life and Reliance), about 4 to 5 times almost everyday.
          Most of the times, the callers keep urging us to register for their insurance policies while some times, they just hang up the moment we receive the call, without saying a word.
          Even after being told many a times that we are not interested, these callers have remained persistent. Now, every day calls come 3-4 times and when we lifted the phone, the caller disconnect the phones without speaking to us. These calls have really become a menace as they keep coming at odd hours. I hope the concerned authorities will look into this matter and provide a quick solution as privacy and peace is every citizen's right.

              My name is Raj kumar and police no is[protected] . i put my redemption request on 23.1.2013 at faridabad branch. but they did not proceed it till 13.2.2013. now they proceed it on 14.2.2013 and according to this date, i get 6000 Rs. loss.Mr.Amit Saha and Miss Archana is responsible for that process.

              Please give me some solution for same so that i can get my 23.1.2013 NAV.

                As we have already discussed regarding our intension of cancellation of policy no[protected], in this proposals of mine I was assured to deposit only once at the time of inception but now because few days back I got a renewal premium notice for our policies in which were applied for single premium and as u said I deposited 2 more premiums in this policy by taking loan from somewhere.
                that’s why we are requesting you to cancel this policy done by you without our written concern, as we earlier written you that we are not interested in continuing this policy done by you ,
                Kindly take immediate action to cancel all this policies and kindly make arrangements to send our money back & oblige.

                  Subject: Complaint on BSLI Policy fraud transaction done by the advisor with lucrative promises

                  I GOPALAKRISHNAN VELLARKALAM, hereby submitting the application for favorable action on miss selling of BSLI policy by lucrative promises and fraud transaction.

                  On a canvas call received from Miss Anu (M No.[protected]) stated that she is from BSLI Delhi HO and canvassed for BSLI Bachat Plan policy in December 2011 and I have taken the Birla Sun Life Insurance Policy Bachat Plan No[protected] of a yearly premium of Rs 28790.89 (with a rebate of 4 % ).On advise of Miss Anu , One Mr Alpesh Dave from BSLI has come and collected the cheque and Policy application form signed.

                  In January 2012, I have received a call from Mrs Priya Verma (M.No. [protected]) stating that she is from BSLI Delhi HO and I have been selected as valued customer of BSLI and offered Bonus payment on my existing BSLI policy taken in Dec 2011. I have not agreed for the offer in one or two calls , she has made many calls and continuously promised for the better offer of 100% bonus and intimated that I have to give a cheque for one time policy of Rs 50000/- (with less rebate of Rs 3000/- net amount to be payable Rs 47000/-) in favour of “Birla Sun Life Insurance co ltd”as an single premium policy which can be surrendered after 45 days. On receipt of Rs 47000/- BSLI will issue a Bonus letter of Rs 100000/- and the Bonus amount will be deposited in my account or a cheque will be issued after 45 days of receipt of the offer letter.

                  On accepting the offer Mrs Priya Verma has sent Mr Alpesh Dave M.No [protected] from Ahmedabad(same person collected the earlier cheque also) to collect the cheque from my residence at Jamnagar and taken the signatures in the BSLI form stating that the form is required to open Single premium policy and issued a receipt for the same (Enclosed)

                  But on receipt of policy , I have contacted Mrs Priya Verma many time and she keep on promising the offer letter and even intimated that the offer letter despatched has been returned due to some mismatching of address. On completion of free look period of the policy , she never accepted my calls , she don’t take the calls from my mobile and I tried to call her from some other no and on recognizing my voice she disconnect the phone. Hence I could not communicate her further and it is understood the mobile no used by her is disconnected now.

                  I have not received any cheque nor any on line payment to my ICICI Bank account from BSLI, and when I have inquired about the bonus cheque/payments from BSLI Customer care and BSLI Jamnagar branch at times I came to know that there is no such bonus is payable in my policy and the new policy(BSLI Policy No 5379161) which was given to me was also not a single premium policy and I also have to pay Rs.94000/- per annum for 20 years and I cannot surrender the policy as the freelook period is completed.

                  On checking the both policy It is understood that the girls canvased me are not from BSLI Delhi HO and they were from Sridhar Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd , Delhi on behalf of BSLI.

                  I humbly state that it is not possible for me to pay Rs. 94000/- per annum for 20 years for the above policy as my age is 48 yrs and my service will not be there for 20 years. My good earning will be stopping at the age of 58 yrs and also I am holding a BSLI Bachat plan policy No[protected] of Rs 28790/- premium. Also I am holding 3 LIC policies ,1 SBI life Insurance and One bajaj Alliance policy. I am having 2 grown up children (Son studying in Engineering & Daughter in 10th Standard) and I have to look after their education expenses on top of my day to day expenses, hence I am unable spare Rs 94000/year for the above policy premium.

                  I have registered the complaint of the above matter to Birla Sun life Insurance number of times by on line, by mail & Customer care and also written complaint to BSLI office . I also registered the complaint with Sridhar Insurance Brokers Delhi who is the Broker name mentioned in the policy and to IRDA by online (screen short of complaint registered attached).

                  But I have not received any proper response from any authority so far for my grievances on the Policy and no favorable communication received from any of the above authority.

                  I have requested the BSLI customer care, if not possible to cancel and refund the policy amount, atleast to convert the amount to a single premium policy. But no response or any changes made till date and the above policy is invalid now.

                  I kindly request you to look in to the matter and do the needful in favour atleast if not possible to refund the amount paid, BSLI may convert the existing policy to single premium policy so that the amount paid will not be lapsed and will not lost. Because Rs 47000/- is great amount for me.

                  I kindly request you to advise BSLI to convert my above policy to single premium policy (Rs 47000/-) as described to me and close my grievances at the earliest

                  Insurance — Consignement booked on 13th feb 2010, still not delivered

                  We have booked the consignment on 13th Feb 2010 from Vijayawada to Kanekal (Anantapur Dist.) till date it was not delivered to the consignee. I am sending you the status of your website along with this mail. In that it is still showing that the consignment is at Hyderabad. Why it was not delivered till now. Please do the needful in this case

                  Insurance — Cheating Fraud and Payment not received

                    This is to let you know that I had a policy with Birla Sun Life under policy number.[protected]old policy num) Which I want to Close and as such I talked about the same with one of Birla Sun Life Executive Mr Abhishek Madan on dated 25/09/2012.and as per the norms I would get my premium paid back along with the interest @ 8% and according to him for that I had to deposit a security of 30000/- which i already paid to him but in place of this he gave me an another policy of 30000/[protected]for which is said is a temporary policy and will be refunded in my account soon and also told me you won 20Gram gold coin As company god good profit, on your old policy but you have to pay 20000 as a security to take those coin,but again he open again a new policy[protected] I waited for this to be cleared and get my premium amount plus interest paid thereon buy after 15 -20 days neither i got my earlier old policy nor I got my Rs 50000/- back, When I contacted to Rajendra place (6 th Floor, Plot No:-23, Agarwal Corporate Tower Rajendra Place, New Delhi-110008)
                    Branch they informed me that it is a case of miss selling and told me to submit a application against the same, I submit my application on 26/12/2012 ,they told me it will resolved within 15days but still I have not get any revert from them, to Take a necessary action and close my 2 new policy with policy num.[protected] and[protected] at urgent as i am very tense to my money this time and relieve me from this trauma as I need Some money immediately.

                      Forced to renew term insurance instead of telling procedure to cancel

                      Force to renew policy in second year. No guidance on how to terminate / exit term insurance
                      since I told clearly, I was not intertesed in having this policy. Even in first year, insurnace company
                      nor the agent (Citi Bank) allowed me to exist.

                      Dear All,

                      Please send me the required documents for cancellation of my policy number[protected]without deducting any charges). It was neither explained nor informed to me that the payment that I have made against (CHQ number 100035) is for a new policy & not for the existing policy which I am already having with Birla Sun Life (BSL). I was under the impression, that the above payment made is for the existing policy for its further continuation.

                      Furthermore, I want to lodge a strong and a critical complaint of your telesales advisor (Name: Ms Neha Thakkar; Advisor code # BF 6334 ) who misguided and neither bothered to explain or inform me that the payment that I have made is not for the same policy which I already have with BSL. I came to know about the entire case on Monday, when the original policy was dispatched to me by courier. Also note, the documents which I have received were not signed by me personally & have been forged with my incorrect signature on the original policy. I condemn this act of yours and am really upset with this kind of irresponsible and highly unprofessional attitude and service offered by your staff to me.

                      One more thing of me being unhappy for opting to use your policy is rather than getting my investments appreciated on actual fund value which I have paid, on the policy I see my investments have been depreciated and you guys are not even In a suitable position to explain me the reason behind it.
                      Common people invest money in policy in reputed company’s like Birla ETC for appreciation of at least 8 to 10 % & not to lose their money after three years of investment.

                      It is my only and humble request to you to refund all the money without deduction of any charges against policy number[protected] , as this was not my fault neither was done on my consent.

                      Please take the above matter seriously & try to refund my entire money ASAP. Any further delay in rely for the subject complaint may force me to lodge a complaint for the above issue.

                        Hi all,

                        I had given a redemption request to BSL on November 23, 2012 which was redeemed in an orderly manner. There were three instructions and a cancelled bank cheque was provided along with clear instructions to:
                        1. transfer the redemption proceeds into the captioned bank account
                        2. discontinue any further debits into my account on account of any of the SIPs

                        Please note, that the AMC redeemed all the three investments the same day, but issued cheque for one while the other two were transferred to bank. The surprising part is that despite there being a similar request, the highest redemption proceed was processed through a cheque and a wrong account number was mention (I would like to re-iterate, that this happened despite being provided with a cancelled cheque and the account number being mentioned on the redemption request). Its going to be a month now, and I still do not have the proceeds of the redemption that amounts to more than Rs. 50,000.

                        Some other careless signs by the organization include:
                        1. There is no number where I can reach them and get this sorted out. Only their reps can call me up. I just cannot keep calling up the call center and recite my plight every time
                        2. Each time I send a mail I get a greeting auto mailer as revert. I do not appreciate this given the fact that this is not taking me anywhere
                        3. The AMC has conveniently translated the matter into an account correction and phone number correction matter. There is no mail for the last few days which gives me an update on redemption proceeds. There is no question of correction anyways - they rather made a mistake by capturing a wrong number and are now trying to show me that they are making a favor by correcting their own mistakes

                        I had redeemed the money for a purpose and this callous attitude has affected some financial obligations negatively. I really wish to action something against these guys and now demand penal interest on savings account or redemption amount in sync with the current market NAV, whichever is higher.

                          Birla sun life insurance co Rourkela, Orissa is the company where I used to work when I left the company I never received the month's salary plus my PF amount now it has been around 2 months. I think the Territory Manager and the Branch Manager are responsible for this the Territoey Manager is very arrogant anf fires people as if they are his servants and the branch manager is not aware of any thing happening in the office. More over many people who left the company never got their full and final settlement.

                            I would like to bring to your notice that I have send a Partial Withdrawal request to your Mumbai office TNT AWB: DO[protected]Attached is the letter sent along with the requested documents attached are the policy coverage details)
                            I received a call from your Birla Sunlife rep in the 1st week on Nov informing me that the documents have been received and the same will be processed in 15 Working days and till date did not receive any communication from Birla

                            I happen to call the customer service on the 19th Nov 10:00 am to check on my status, and was informed that the documents have not been received and there is no update of the partial withdrawal in the system ???, after doing all I can to convince the customer rep that the documents have been sent they finally agreed that the documents were received, but one document (coverage details are missing) Please refer to the attached letter, I have sent all the documents.
                            I was informed that the money will be transferred this week to my account and i requested a acknowledgement mail as we policy holders don't receive any confirmation from the company about submitted documents and its easy for the company to bluntly say we have not received any documents, I did not received the mail by evening as promised by the representative.

                            I called the customer care on the same day 19th Nov at 5:00 pm, to check on the acknowledgement mail and to my surprise I had to go through explanation and get to to accept that my documents have been received and after which they agreed they received the documents.

                            So far, I am disappointing by such response by a company who claims to value the sentiments of the common man.

                            My question to the Company here,
                            Why wasn't the Policy Holders data updated with the Partial Withdrawal request ?
                            If some document was not received why was there no communication to the Policy Holder made to inform him on the status?
                            What about the acknowledgement to the customer for sending all his personal documents ?
                            Who is answerable to the Policy Holder for not adhering to the 15 days time to deposit the money to the account?

                                I was working with an MNC in 2010. As an initial banking activity, I had to open an account with citi bank
                                india or HDFC india. I had a great faith in citi bank india and opted it. After couple of days I was offered
                                a citi bank indian oil credit card.

                                May be after a month I was approached by a birla sun life adviser Tarakanth or citi bank adviser for
                                life insurance and a mutual fund.The adviser adviced me to go for Classic Endowment 2010 (policy number:[protected]using
                                the same credit card which was issued by citi earlier.

                                I was informed that by paying 2500 extra I will be getting RS. 1000000 life coverage. So paid 27115 as first premium.

                                As per the agreement the second installment supposed to be devided 12 equal installment and should have been
                                deducted from my credit card after nov 2011. Eventully that did not happen. So dropped an email but Could
                                not get a reply. Fortunately I had adviser number so gave him a call. At that point of time he had already
                                left the organization and was in Mumbai(bombay). Somehow I managed to get some contact numbers and email ids.

                                Result to this, citi bank contacted me and I signed in a statement where I agree and requested citi bank to
                                deduct the amount from my citi credit card in equal installment.

                                After a week citi bank advisor confirmed me that, the request has been declined and I need to pay the amount
                                in one go.

                                Today I aproached birla sun life branch which is located at aundh (above reliance foot print). they confirmed me
                                that the amount in the account is nill.

                                After hearing the note I threw some questions on them

                                1)I was ready to make the payment and why dint they recieved it?
                                2)Why did't they contact me before the policy second premeum payout.
                                3)Why din't they inform me about the fund value time to time.
                                4)Why i was not informed about the status and the 'insurance laps' and why did they leave me for the last moment surprise


                                I am totally surprised and confused. Please help me to sort this issue.

And as per there representative i will get minimum 10% interest but now they says that your policy is not for 3 years its for 20 years. I Paid 30000/-Rs. every year mins 90000/- Rs. in three years. But now if i quit from this policy than i will get only 50000 Rs. . that mins birla sun life peoples make us full,
