i received call from birla sun life insurance his adviser code no. is 001639 he tell to me about my previous policy in reliance life insurance if 1 am deposit a payment of 15000 in favour of birla sun life insurance . he is transfer my payment from reliance to birla & with in 45 days i am withdrawal all payment . as per commitment by him i am deposit payment in birla sun life insurance wide no 00005 . but till date i am not received confirmation by birla sun life insurance & adviser . so may i request to you take a necessary action against its fraud . i want my payment is 75000 as per commitment by him .

      I have purchase insurance policy from Birla sun life(BSL Vision plan) in first week of May 2012. After so much inquiry about policy document( policy no. is[protected] to BSL insurance agent I learnt that my pin code no. is wrong so I corrected that pin code no. on phone but still I have not got policy document on my address. Customer care suggested me that to request to nearest branch to dispatch my policy document at their branch from where I will collect this document. So I requested to Vashi, navi Mumbai branch on 10th of Sept 2012 but still I have not got Policy document. On dated 6th Oct 2012, I had called from BSL insurance about whether I will cancel that policy or not. If I will cancel policy, he put two ways for cancelling that policy
      1. I will surrender/cancel that policy with approx. 50% deduction OR
      2. I will show deposit of one premium into BSL insurance & he will pay whole amount in 21 days.
      On dated 8th Oct 2012 on phone I had logged complain for not getting policy document (registered under ref no. 29586255.)

      Now, I want to cancel that policy, but BSL insurance are saying that your free look period is over. Pls suggest me what to do next

          I resigned from Birla Sun Life Insurance services on April 4th 2012. I was informed by branch within 60 days company will do my final settlement. june 1st week i called the hr department, they said we have started you procedure on 17th of may, as the manager signed to them late. whereas i have sent my computerised resignation to main Hr of Birla sun life company and procedures will be completed by july 15th. There was no reply from the so i emailed Hr on 4th August about not receiving relieving letter. They replied back on 8th August, saying i have dues to pay the company for paying me extra days. I asked explanation of entire Full Final Settlement document and extra days they supposedly paid me and i gave my explanation of not being paid for few days that i worked in the company and false promises made by Branch Head. They asked me to contact Regional Hr . I phoned branch Hr he is not answering my phone. i evened phoned the branch landline they say Mr chandrashekar (Hr) is Busy will call back. today is the 5th of september. they are just giving me a run around. How am i supposed to get my final settlement and relieving letter.

            Hi,

            This is in regard to two policies bearing #[protected] &[protected] which my sister bought from Birla Sun Life Insurance Co. Ltd.(BSLI).

            On 02-Mar-12 she visited the your their branch (Br Code – 478) and surrendered the abovementioned policies and asked for stop of ECS in regard to these two policies but BSLI took no action in this regard and her bank account was constantly debited by the premium amount.

            Then again on 28-Aug-12 she visited the their branch (Br Code – 478) and lodged written complaint to stop the ECS but again nothing happened.

            Now today again i.e. 04-Sep-12 she spoke to Mr Sameer on consumer care helpline [protected] and lodged the complaint #[protected] for stopping the ECS.

            Inspite of visiting the branch of Birla Sun Life Insurance Co. Ltd. numerous time and calling their consumer care nothing is happening in regard to my request for surrender and STOP of ECS in regard to these policies.

            Please provide your assistance and guidance.

                Sir,
                I beg to draw your kind attention to the following complaint for your necessary legal action thereon.

                I opened a Flexi Cash Flow Policy under Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Ltd. on 05/01/2007. Its policy number was[protected] for a paying period of 20 years with an annual coverage premium of Rs. 6104 and an initial critical illness plus rider of Rs. 1212 annually totaling the amount to Rs. 7316 annually. The policy was committed to return Rs. 20000/- every five year. I got the illness plus rider cancelled on on 05/11/2008 but continued the policy with the basic premium of Rs. 1526/- quarterly through ECS from my Axis Bank Account No. [protected]. On 15/05/2012 I claimed for the first guaranteed money back of Rs. 20000/-. Within a month I was sent a cheque of Rs. 20000/- but on 03/07/2012 I was sent another cheque of Rs. 3348.58 with the payout reason that the policy elapsed two years. But in reality the company accepted the quarterly premium through ECS till 05/01/2012 after which no claim for ECS was received from the company. On 18/07/2012 I wrote an application to the Company's Kolkata Branch and talked about the matter to the Company's Mumbai Branch but no response was received. On 19/07/2012 I sent an email to the Company detailing the fact and received a reply that the policy was discontinued due to non-receipt of premium from 02/02/2010 whereas the last date of deposit of premium through ECS was 05/01/2012. Then how was the policy discontinued and where was the sum of the deposits I made through ECS between 02/02/2010 and 05/01/2012? What should I do now? Please help me. I can attach the scanned details of the ECS's and other documents if necessary.

                  I, Ravi Kant Gupta will like to bring in your kind notice that Ms. Sania Gupta(mob.-[protected]) Mr. Ravi Kumar ( Mob: [protected]) claiming to be an employee of birlasunlife, Jasola new delhi office, approached me on phone and told me about Birla Sunlife Insurence Policy-Vision Plan having following benefits-

                  a) to pay premium for only five year.
                  B) to get rs 2,67, 000/- In last of 5th year
                  C) to get medical insurance for me, spouse and child for rs 4,00,000/- (All Member)

                  On 31-07-12 I received the policy document, to my dismay the payment term was 20 years and medical benefit for me only. Immediately, I called Ms. Saniya Gupta and told her that I want to return/cancel the policy, but she told me that I need not to worry as all the things she told me will be in the statement which is going to be issued within one week.

                  After half an hour I got a call from Mr. RaviKumar (Probus Insurence ) stating that he will send executive to collect the orignal policy document from me & whatever the features has been advised by Sania Gupta, you will get in revised policy. Mr. Ravikumar ( mob# [protected])he said make a circle with pencil where ever you want changes it will done and policy will return within 5 day's.

                  I got to know that there were only change has been done thourgh free look form ( Which is not filled and signed by me, done fake signature by them self ) pay term now it is 19 Yrs.

                  I called and request to customer service to log a complaint on my behalf that I want to cancel the policy reason I am no more ready to accept the free look changes & want to cancel the policy.

                  I have made a number of complaint to customer service but not getting appropriate response and not got my revised policy till date.

                  On policy document, name of a broker is mentioned i.e;Probus Insurance broker ltd .

                  I lodged a complaint with bsli,that as per given commitment not given and probus insurance brokers ltd persons not picking any phone and not giving soltion for it,

                  Company of this stature should not run-away from its responsibilities towards their official advisors, who are misguiding & cheating innocent investors. It means bsli is hand-in gloves with its brokers

                  I am sure your forum will be of great help to me in solving the matter and getting me back my hard-earned money with intere as on priority.

                    My policy no. is[protected]. I had given the application for the surrender of the policy at Birlasunlife, pimpri, pune office on 23rd of July 2012 with a proper application attached by a copy of PAN card, my own phonograph & a cancelled cheque (Cheque No.320846) of ICICI bank A/c No.[protected].
                    I have done various communications for non credit of policy amount in specified limits of working days (5 working days as communicated by various customer care executives by time to time) in applied bank account, as well as information received from various customer care executives, that the cancelled cheque submitted by me was not properly visible or was showing A/c No.[protected]. I had requested to show the cancelled cheque submitted by me, but is being avoided by birlasunlife. And they are not even giving anything in writing, & taking lot of time in the process in spite of giving them my bank statement showing the same amount is not credited in my bank account.
                    Each and every communications I am getting different-different answers from different-different customer care officers. I had arranged my payments considering that I will get the funds from Birlasunlife. I am being suffered without any fault from my side.

                      Dear Sir,

                      On 27-07-12 I received a call from +[protected] on my number +[protected] at 17:18. The person on the other side was a lady who introduced herself as an employee of Birla Sun Life Insurance Company. As I was in a meeting that time so I told the lady not to disturb me but she didn't understand that and continued to speak. My number is already DND activated I told her but she didn't listen and started using UN-Parliamentary language and used abusive words on the call. After some time I heard another Male voice on the call which also did the same and used the same language as the lady did.

                      Again at 17:22 on the same date I received another call from +[protected] on my number and this time a male voice was on the other side who used the same abusive and vulgar language.I was really shocked to hear that as I don't expect an employee of Birla Sun Life Insurance to use such language. The pride which your company has always maintained was flunked with these phone calls.

                      I've been working in stock market for last 31 years and I've seen many company's people working but i never came across with this kind of situation where an employee of such a big company. I have started my career as an investor in the Public Issue of Indian Rayon Corporation Ltd. on 16.03.1981, since then I know the ethics and principles of Shree Aditya Birla Ji. This incident hurts my trust very much and belief in this group. Why the new staff is heading towards the destruction of this image and the why the company does not hold any responsibility to control the nuisance created these days.

                      My complaint is against the employees who are working and spoiling the name of the company. I want you to identify those employees, take strict actions against them and provide me the details of these employees. If I didn't receive any reply as per this complaint within 15 days, I'll be bound to take legal actions against the Management of Birla Sun Life Insurance Company and the unidentified employees who called me.

                      I hope to receive a positive reply soon.

                        I have purchased a policy from BSLI (Bachat Money back plan policy no.[protected] dated 29th March 2012.

                        I have agreed for annual payment frequency and amount of Rs 30000 per year.

                        The policy documents were sent through Blue Dart courier. However the courier was not delivered to me and it was handed over to some security guard Called Mr Rajgopal. The guard did not hand over the documents to me and I got the original policy documents on 5th May 2012.

                        When I read the policy documents, I found the discrepancy in the premium amount and frequency. I immediately registered a complaint through mail for changing the payment frequency and amount as per agreement while purchasing the policy. (
                        My complaint was rejected saying that the free look period is over and hence nothing can be done.
                        After getting this letter I did frequent communication to consider free look period from the date of actual delivery as it was BSLI’s responsibility to ensure the delivery of policy documents to the policy owner and It is not my fault. But I could not get any reply since 19th July 2012

                        After frequent follow up, I got a reply from BSLI on 19th July 2012 giving the same reason and did not take any actions to resolve my complaint. (

                        Birla Sunlife Insurance Company Ltd — Non Credit of Renewal Premium

                        Ref Policy No.[protected]. I had paid my renewal premium (2nd) in the second policy year i.e. March 2006. However the same was not credited to my policy account. Although i was delivered a receipt of the premium cheque that was deposited with the company. On contacting at the company's branch office and on its web-site, i was asked to send some information like a letter from clearing bank where i had an account and the cheque that i had issued got cleared. Although i submitted whatever was demanded from the company still there is no positive response as yet. I am really annoyed and had planned to file a civil suit against the company. Need help on this as its my hard earned money.

                          I just got a cal fom the No.[protected] claiming to be from Birla Sun Life....the tele caller {sachin ] said my no. has been selected for a special offer.

                          I told him I m not interested and requested him to never call again, he said ' I will call again and again....do what ever you like.'

                          Date and time of the call - 1:19 afternoon [16.7.12]

                          Do advice me what needs to be done.

                          unwanted investment call from Birla sunlife — unwanted call

                          Dear sir/madam,

                          I am getting unwanted call on my mobile related to insurance, investment, personnal loan, credit card etc.
                          the numbers from i got call is [protected](Birla sun life) and[protected]axis bank credit card dpt).

                          is there any legal way ?

                          Birla Sunlife — MISREPRESENTATION

                          I have been represented on behalf of Birla Sunlife Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Marine Lines Office by Mr. Fahem Tambe & Ms. Suraiya Khan for my policy number[protected]. At the time of their representation, they have mentioned that they are from the Marine Lines office which has got a great name for selling of Birla Sunlife Products and informed that they will share the 50% commission for the first payment made against this policy. At this juncture, I have informed that there is already an agent with me Ms. Sareen Satarawala who is giving good service and I would like to go with her. But, they informed me that they are all belongs to one group and there is no difference if I book through them. My concern to the general public to beware of these representatives Mr. Fahem Tambe & Ms. Suraiya Khan, who are nothing but cheaters and trying to spoil the reputation of the marine office of Birla Sunlife absolutely by way of cheating. Also my request to the Marine Line office of Birla Sunlife to take up this matter and come back to me on this.

                          On 01/10/2011 @ 3:29pm, I received a call on my mobile from the No [protected]. My mobile No is already registered for DND and already registered in NDNC Registry. This phone call was from a telemarketing caller and wanted to ask regarding my interest in share and stocks. This call came when I was enjoying my family time with my kids and home members, and was too disurbing for my personal leisure time. I want to take action against this telemarketing caller.

                            Hello Birla Sun Life,

                            I am Vinayak Ganji from Pune. I received the call from Birla Sunlife Insurance (that the caller said to me that he call me from Birla Sunlife Insurance Delhi Head office not from the Probus Insurance Broker Ltd. office) that a policy named Birla Sunlife Insurance vision plan for 100 years in which if I deposit Rs. 30,000/- Per year then I can get loan from Birla Sunlife Insurance Rs.300,000/ with in 40 days.

                            I said to him please send her executive & collect the Document from me. He send his executive on the same day & he signed me the documents. I had little bit doubt about this policy when I has inquired this policy detail and I shocked came to know the payment term that is 20 years instead of 10 years and there is no any loan facility available. When I complaint to the caller gentleman Mr. Alok Mehta (Cell No: [protected]), he said to me that this is special policy and already you loan approval from Birla Sunlife Delhi H.O. not available any branch office. I made very big mistake trust him and his commitment where I find out Probus Insurance Broker Ltd. Cheated me.

                            After that I approched to Birla Sun Life Insurance Sangam Bridge RTO office, PUNE on 19th june & explani the detail and policy cancellation application, I.D. Proof & a complaint letter against Alok Mehta that he was doing the fraud to giving wrong information about the particular policy(VISION PLAN) Company repersentative Miss Sandhya told me that the refund Rs. 30000/-Made with in 15 days. I came to know my policy was not issued it will refund as possible as early with in 15 Days. But till date (3 July,2012) there is no any update about my policy cancellation and I do not get my refund amount Rs.30,000/

                            Later 21 June again I received call from Alok Mehta (Cell No: [protected]) Probus Insurance Broker Ltd. threaten me if I will cancel this policy so, it will deduct 50% of my premium amount. (That is Rs.15,000 instead of Rs.30,000).

                            Now I think that the Probus Insurance Broker Ltd. is fraud & If I do not refund my amount as possible as early from Birla Sun Life Insurance company so, I will filed a strong case against them as early as possible.

                                Fraud in Selling Insurance Policy - SNOWTEX INVESTMENT LIMITED is agency of Birla Sun Life Insurance

                                Myself is Sushant Mayekar from Mumbai, I got a call saying calling from ICICI Prudential regarding to my lapse policy. Stating that I will get all my returns from ICICI Prudential with Bonus within 90 Days. To claim this they told me that I have to take one endowment policy of Birla Sun Life ( on query they told there is recently tie up of ICICI Prudential and Birla Sun Life) ( I enquired this with ICICI Prudential’s call center which is not a case)
                                After taking plan, within 10-15 days team of 3 people (1 from IRDA + 2 from Insurance co.) will come to my residence to hand over letter of old policy claim amount. They have the answers to all our queries.
                                Finally, after 15 days I agrees to take policy keeping in mind that if they cheat I will cancelled the policy within free look, and document person comes to me with forms, in that I found one paper in the name of Snowtex Investment Ltd. I immediately search in Google for this name and I found so many complaints against this company from various location of the Country. I called Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, who has got trapped by these peoples. So I quit myself from the loop.
                                Even though I have not trapped, I expect stern disciplinary action against the person involved with this kind of fraud. For reference kindly find details of the following who dealt with me with the application.

                                I also found from internet that SNOWTEX INVESTMENT LIMITED is agency of Birla Sun Life Insurance with Advisor Code is 001639. So, Birla company immediately should discontinue their agency with penalty and help the society to save from such fraud cases. Also IRDA should take stern disciplinary action against the person involved with this kind of fraud.

                                i dr mayurika singh bought life insurance policy in 7 month 2009 through policy baazar agent name naresh he assured me to return 5% of the premium amount when i called him he said i will give back money and in dec.2009 when i called he said i have left the company and he is still working in that company these bloody private company are fraud they r 420

                                I am having strong feeling that Birla Sun Life's authorized persons are alos involved in this scam. so they are just ignoring such complaints and those crooks(snow tex) are still selling their policy with the fake offer.

                                This is to inform you with grave concern that myself Subhajit Das a resident of Kasba Kolkata 42 before 2 months received a call from number [protected]. This was a call for a personal loan query and that person on behalf of Snowtex Investment Ltd. told me after doing a Birla Sun life Insurance of amount 15000/- I will be entitled to get 300000 (Three Lakh Rupees) and as per their conditions after getting the insurance policy kit I have to handover it to them and need not to pay yearly 15000/- premium. They called me many times and finally I agreed with their terms.

                                I paid Rs.15000/- on 24|11|12. I got my Birla Sun Life Bachat Endowment Plan with policy number[protected]. After the policy documents reached me this Snowtex Investment Ltd. Representative called me up and collected the original policy kit.

                                I tried to contact them after that but they continued not to response my call and I could not get the loan they promised. Now simply I want to close this policy and return my money straightaway.

                                After submission all documents and details within 25 days they assure me that I will get my payment within 15 days and receive my application with their stamp. Now almost 4 months past but they are not responding even they are giving time 15 days every time when I call them. What is the solution?

                                      I Sri subrata Sengupta, I had purchased a Birla Sun Life Vision Plan
                                      Single Premium Policy
                                      Rs.50000/- Policy No. is[protected] on 24/04/2012. I had received a
                                      call from Birla Sun Life Delhi , called by Mr. Kunal Malhotra, he told
                                      his designation is Sr. Login Manager on 11/04/2012.
                                      He offered the above mentioned policy with following benifits :-

                                      1. After one month I will get 32000/- like that as Bonus.

                                      2. 100 yrs LI Benifit and Mediclaim.

                                      3. After 5years I will get Rs. 119000/- as Maturity value.

                                      4. Get Welcome kit with Full Term and conditions with mentioned offer.

                                      That time ask to mentioned person how to give that type of lookretive
                                      offer? He introduced with another person named Aditya Jaiswal (Sr.
                                      Technical Manager) over the phone. He described and told it is
                                      possiable because between Company and you no agent is there.
                                      And asper discussion, he send a doc girl to collect the documents from
                                      me. And she collected following documents :-
                                      1. Voter I Card and Pan Card (Xerox copy) 2. Rs. 50000/- Cheque (SBI
                                      Kolkata Esplaned Br.).

                                      After that I received the Bond on 29/04/2012 and after study the
                                      policy bond I observed So many mismatch with offer commitment.
                                      Mismatch As follows :-

                                      That time I called back to Kunal Malhotra and Aditya Jaiswal, They
                                      are told me , you please ignore the policy bond and wait 60 days to
                                      get welcome kit with term and conditions as per offer commitment.
                                      After that I will make so many call and SMS for clear my doubt, but
                                      they are bypassed me every time, they are told pl. wait.
                                      After that on 16 May 2012 I have received a call from BSLI call centre
                                      Baroda Gujrat, I talk with Miss Pramila, she told me this call is
                                      confirmation call, when I asked about this policy, she told me this is
                                      not a Single premium policy, it is regular policy, and she also
                                      advised me to contact nearest BSLI branch for cancellation the policy.
                                      Now I understool I chitted by advisor and policy mis sold. Today I
                                      have visited your Kolkata Zonal office and meet your Manager and
                                      manger observed the case and told me Free Look Period is over on
                                      13/05/2012.
                                      Actualy I dont know about free look term and conditions. When your
                                      call centre knocked me to lodge a complain regarding this matter,
                                      then I donot waste time and visited your office and submitted a
                                      complain and the above complain receveied by your manager.

                                      If you want to see all ommunication (SMS) with your representative, I
                                      gareed to produce.

                                      So I am requesting you to cancell the above policy and refund the
                                      amount to my bank account.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I hold a ULIP insurance policy from Birla Sunlife Insurance (Policy Number[protected]. Due to a recent urgent financial need, I requested a termination and withdrawl of my policy from Birla Sunlife. The process required original document which was lost from my end. So I then requested for a duplicate document at the Kormangla, Bangalore Branch on 23th March, 2012 and I was told that the duplicate document will be delivered in 15 working days. Almost 2 months have passed since then, and I have personally visited Kormangla office multiple times, called their head office dozens of times, but still have not received my documents. Every time I call them up, the person on phone is very rude and tells me it will be delivered in 5-10 more working days and never come up with an explanation why the delay.

                                        I have also written periodic emails explaining my sensitive situation to higher management and the grievances contact mentioned on their website and have not received a single reply.

                                        This is to request you to please acknowledge this complaint and take appropriate action as this episode has put me in an extreme financial position whereby I am not able to use my own savings for my urgent family need.
