In October 2001 I had taken a single premium policy (No.[protected] for Rs 100,000 with a single premium of Rs 100,000 paid on application, The policy was under Flexi Cash Flow which as per the terms of the policy document had assured minimum policy value of Rs 147,629.26 under Protector option, or 3% return annualised. However, on maturity in October 2011 I got only Rs. 74,055.38. I have been writing to the company but have failed to get a convincing reason for the vastly reduced maturity amount,

    Hi Birla Sun Life Insurance Team,

    I am Satyanarayan Kulkarni having policy number[protected]. I am really fed up of your services and it is very much worst experience for me with you people. I never expected this kind of behaviour from you people. You are really worst people.

    I want to surrender my policy for which i need duplicate bond.

    I have submitted all required documents with notary and all in Indira Nagar Bangalore office branch on 21 December 2011. Today i went to Indira Nagar branch today and i am told from that stupid people that i need to pay some more months premium and all.

    Please Please Please Please Issue me new bond. I request you to issue duplicate bond. I promise that i will never ever do any business with you people.

    Please Please issue me duplicate bond ASAP.

      Hi Friends,

      I am writing this, just to make you people aware of this policy. Never ever in life try to buy this policy, even if your corporate bank account representatives offer you some discounts or goodies. They are the real frauds.
      I bought this policy through Citi bank in December 2008 with annual premium of Rs. 24000 and insurance cover of Rs. 2,60,000. Till date I have paid 24000 x3 = 72000, and you will surprise to know that as on date my fund value is Rs. 43000. This is not because the market is under performing, this is because brila sun life insurance company is charging me sum of apprx. Rs. 10,000 per annum for Admin charges, Insurance charges, mortality charges etc. and in those 3 years they have deducted 30,000 from my policy fund value.
      Moreover, the policy is designed in such a way that, if anyone enters in this policy, he/she can not exit from this policy unless completing 3 years otherwise the heavy penalty will be levied. So there is no option to get money back in first 3 years and after 3 years Birla Sun Life and Citi Bank already had made lot of money from policy that they don't care if anyone is exiting from here.
      So, my friends please beware of these frauds (Birla Sun Life and Citi Bank) and do not buy this policy otherwise you will also lose your hard earned money like I have lost.

        Birla sun life/Dream plan — forged signature and medicals

        Dear manager,

        I had applied for a policy in Birla sun life insurance company.my policy num is[protected]...the documents which i recived from the company having my fordge signature and fordge medicals reports.I am residing in ludhiana nd my medicals reports has prepared from jamu.and the deatail of my nominee is also wrong.i dont want to continue wid this policy.i had given my policy cancellation leatter in loacal birla sun office on 25 june 2009,but till date they are not telling me the status of my policy.kindly register my complaint and refund my poilcy..

        Someone from the above number is calling that he represents Birla Sunlife and threatening to give policy details and password. He is fraudulent and uses abusive language. Can we take this company/person to police?

          Policy No.[protected] of Birla Sun life Insurance, Bond issue by Company not match with the information provided by sale executive Mr.Misra, Employee Birla Sun life insurance, Delhi Office. At the time sale he gave me very Attractive offer to sale the policy. But when Policy provided by company not match with the detail provided by sale Executive. i am very Disappointed with the service of Birla Sun life insurance. Now i want to cancel my Policy as soon as possible.

            This is in with regards to my employment with Birla sunlife ins.co.ltd. from 16/06/2007 to 04/04/2008 and my emp code is 10908 and the same no. was my PF. no.which company manage through trustee.
            When i had resigned from this organization I had filled up all my necessary documents for my full and final settlement so that i can easily get my PF amount.When i ahd filled up my PF withdrawal and sent to the company's H.O. they had rejected to give me the same by saying that plz. fill up your full and final settlement documents.
            Now after completing my 3 years after resigning from the organization I had again send the PF withdrawal form to H.O.again they had declined the request.
            Kindly suggest what do ido to take out my PF amount.

            OMG! When even the employees of an Insurance company are not insured...LOL :) How come they promise people to serve them better and secure their life blaah blaah... Ridiculous

            Why don't you sue these guys...Drag them to the court

                I am ex employee of Birla having emp ID 16784 namr Roshan Biswakarma have left the organisation on 31.07.2009and have recieved full and final settlement including PF but I have applied for the PF of my previous company SBI life where the my PF cheque no.403188 dated 16.02.11 amount Rs78212 has been sent to you and recieved by Mr.Sunil vide POD No.[protected] on 20.04.2011.
                I ahve also send the withdrawl doc along with the cancelled cheque to you vide professioinal courrier doc no 5171428 dated 21.04.11.

                I have made several calls regarding the above matter and still the matter is not settel nither i am able to get the status till today . So, please do the needful to solve my matter and release my cheque as soon as possible.

                  INTERCHANGING DONE BY ASST MANAGER OF BIRLA SUNLIFE INSURANCE CO.
                  Respected Sir, I am an Insurance Advisor of BIRLASUNLIFE vide CODE No. A08070 and AZ4173. Before 2 years, I deposited many insurance policies. I checked my account and found that some policies did not refelect in my account. I reported to my branch before two year. Branch Manager told me that Assistant Manager Mr. Surender Chouhan has made interchanging and he has submitted these policy under other Insurance Advisor. I asked for my allied commission and policy details to Birla Sun Life Branch,Mandi (HP). The Branch Manager of Mandi (HP) branch has been writing to defaulter Asst Manager for two year. But, He did not reply so for. A period of more than 2 year has been passed, but I could not have my policy detail and commission. After lot of requests BIRLA SUNLIFE has terminated this defaulter manager. Please help me to resolve the issue and take necessary action against defaulter Asst Manager and BIRLA SUNLIFE INSURANCE COMPANY.

                      I have been registered for DND with Idea Cellular since more than 3-4 months now and received calls from Birla Sun Life Insurance from no.                           Respected sir/mam,
                          I am ANUJ KHANNA. I am an advisor of Birla Sun Life Insurance(BSLI) company and my code is BD5895. I took a policy from BSLI company numbered[protected]. I belong to Rajpura, Punjab and i had taken the policy from the Rajpura branch itself. I had to cancel my policy and wanted refund of my money. I told about this cancelation to the branch manager of Rajpura i.e. Mr. RAKESH BHANDARI just after 3-4 days i made the payment of Rs.15000. I was taught that anybody can cancel its policy within 15 days of its receiving and receive back the entire amount back without deducting any single rupee. I made the request to the branch manager even before receiving the policy by post.

                          I received the policy around 27-Sept-2011. The very next day i gave the policy back to the branch manager for the cancellation. Issuing date of the policy was 19-Sept-2011. I asked the branch manager for the legal receiving of the policy for cancellation but he addressed "it is not required". I kept on waiting for a long time and i visited to the Rajpura branch regularly. The feedback i got form him after a week was that i cannot cancel my policy now. He even said that he had forwarded my request for cancellation of the policy to the head quarter but received a rejection to such authorization from there. He directly stated that there is nothing into his hands now.

                          Later on, on 12-Oct-2011 I visited the BSLI branch Sec.-9, Chandigarh and got to know that my request for cancellation is not registered even once by the branch manager of Rajpura. He was be fooling me. If me being an advisor is suffering from such problems and wrong guidance, how can i ask my clients to invest in BSLI. I have my two awaited clients to invest in BSLI, how can i suggest them to do the same. I even gave a written application on 13-Oct-2011 in Sec.-9 branch regarding the same.

                          The branch manager of Rajpura is not responding to me and its been three days i have filed the complaint but no action has been taken yet. So please, take a strict action regarding the same and refund my money cancelling the policy as soon as possible.

                            I was applied for the Insurance policy on Birla and the policy name is 'Saral Jeevan Life Cvg - Term 20 Pay Reg'.

                            I was not aware of the administration fees is 40% for the first 3 years. If you pay 24000/yearly, Rs. 9600/- will be taken as administration charges.

                            As you are all aware that IRDA is reduced the loading fees & administration but when i contacted Birla insurance, they said that it is only for the new policies.

                            Still i am wondering, why regulator and insurance companies are giving the benefit to new customers and whether they are thinking the old customer let them pay the money to make a wealthy profit for Birla.

                            Since it is india, we have to accept everything and pay our hard earned money to make profit of insurance company.

                            My sincere advise to all ULIP holders or looking for new policies, don't investi in ULIP. Always go for insurance seperately and Equity Mutual fund seperate where you can get good returns.

                            Last but not least, ULIP companies are no.1 fraud and cheaters where they are minting the hard earned money of poor people of india.

                              Sub:-Improper deductions in cancelling my Policies of BIRLA SUN LIFE Insurance.
                              Corporate Opportunity services, Ranchi, Auth. Channel Partner of BIRLA SUN LIFE had arranged a seminar/Workshop during July’11 where they had explained about the BSLI vision Plan Policy. After discussions I had explained the speaker, Mr. Sahu, that as my age is 63 years, hence, I cannot pay for more than 5 years. He agreed for my request & brought some document in tabular form & explained that I have to pay only for 5 years & the guaranteed sum assured will be 15 times of the premium which I will be depositing.
                              I agreed & paid Rs. 28000 which they have split in to two parts each of Rs. 14000.00. Thus the Guaranteed sum of Rs. 14000 will be 14000x15 = Rs. 210000.Thus for Rs. 28000 it should be Rs.420000.I deposited the cheque for Rs. 28000 on 08/07/2011.
                              I received Two policies as per details given below:-
                              Policy No.[protected] Pay Term – 12 years Guarantee Sum Assured – Rs 110870.00
                              Policy No.[protected] Pay Term – 16 years Guarantee Sum Assured – Rs 157610.00
                              I was surprised to see the above policies as I had very clearly told that I cannot pay for more than 5 years. They have indicated 12 & 16 years. Also the guaranteed sum is much less than assured in the seminar, hence, I cancelled my policies in free look period. They have deducted Rs.487.69 in both the policies. They had send Two cheques of 23rd Aug’11.
                              I would like to call it as cheating as they should have kept the period of 5 years & should have mentioned 15 times the guaranteed sum assured as assured by them in the seminar.Instead of this they have deducted Rs. 487.69 apart from keeping the money for more than 1 & ½ months. I believe they should refund my money.

                                I have taken Saral Jeevan Policy in Birla Sunlife Insurance. They have given unlimited fund switch options. But when we do it, they are not updating it properly.
                                I requested to move funds partially to other but they moved it fully.
                                Some times they will do it at all.
                                Some times they deduct the amount.

                                Our firm recently received 100% refund with 3.5 % interest. In total Rs. 230, 000 in less then one week for one of our client.

                                  I am an ex employee of BSLI & have resigned on 20/12/2010.
                                  My employee code is 3508
                                  My PF account no is MH/211039/3508
                                  I am following up for my PF amount with BSLI since May 2011 but I don’t get any satisfactory response from the Toll free number & the officers.
                                  I have spoken to many supervisors from the call center who inturn ensure that they will call back & provide the information required by me but even after a week I don’t get call back.
                                  When I call back again, I am never able to reach the same person again.
                                  In a span of a month, I have spoken to supervisor like Arjun Goswani, Arpit,Sameer Dhan & Vipin but no one has answers to my question. Vipen was even rude to me
                                  I just wanted to know when will my PF amount be credited to my account as it is 9 months since I have resigned.
                                  Request you to intervene & help me to get my money faster.

                                    my name is Bhaveshkumar M Saidani , i am Working in Above mention Company and ESIC medical amount diducted in my Salary also please note that i have submited all the require Document along with ESIC form & Family Photo & my Comany Stamp also to ESIC Hospital which i situated in Ahmedabad (BO-CITY BO-CITY BR.MGR.ESIC D-42, PALDI GARDEN, PALDI Ahmedabad-380007 ) last Two months ago….but the are not recieved my form only do the Syamp on that , MY Fater has 07to 08 times visited to the ESIC Hospital in Paldi Branch in Ahmedabad but every time the people are not co-operate withe the same, but still now i have not received my ESIC CARD..

                                    Also please find enclosed the Attachment for the same which i have submited in the ESIC Hospital in Ahmedabad - Pladi Office -380007...

                                      This is to bring to your kind notice that on regular pursuation of Snowtex Investment Ltd. Agent Mr. Rahul Sahni ([protected] ), I invested in BSLI Bachat endowment plan (term period 20 years) whose policy no. is [protected] dated 8/02/2011. That in the policy I was promised that after 90 days free medical encashment scheme will activate. But even after 90 days the scheme is yet to be activated. The worst part is that even I am not getting proper answers from customer care so as to what to do.
                                      That it was the feature of the policy which lured me to invest. That in case if scheme fails to activate, in that scenario please reimburse my policy money with interest. Kindly look into the matter & reply as early as possible.

                                        I am the most impacted customer of Birla Sun Life, Insurance. I hope others do not get this impact.

                                        The details of Policy -
                                        Policy Number[protected]

                                        My queries and escalations against Angel Financial Advisors Pvt Ltd -

                                        1. As per policy statement, my policy premium is Rs. 20,009.56/- per year (that means Rs. 5,002.40/- per quarter).
                                        Initial amount charged from me is Rs. 6,000/- assuring me my policy premium is Rs. 24,000/- per year (that means Rs. 6,000/- per quarter)
                                        *****HUGE MISMATCH IN COMMITMENTS*****

                                        2. When I was informed the features about policy, it was said (rather I would say I was fooled) me that I will have to pay premium of Rs 24000/- for next 5 years. Then after 5 years I will receive an ASSURED amount of Rs. 2,64,000/- with an assurance which would be provided as a part of policy statement.I did not see that assurance letter in letter sent by Birla Sun Life.
                                        When contacted customer care, I found the details provided were totally wrong.

                                        Also it was informed that I can keep minimum amount of Rs 24,000/- in my policy and can withdraw rest amount after 3 years to keep my life insurance for next 30 years.
                                        This part is not mentioned in the policy details. Now I feel, I was FOOLED by Angle Financial Services.

                                        3. It was informed me that the life insurance cover is for next 30 years and that is Rs 15,00,000/-. But policy statement says Basic Sum Assured as Rs 4,37,000/- and Enhanced Sum Assured as 5,10,000/-.
                                        What is the final figure? Is it Rs 15,00,000/- or is it either Basic Sum Assured as Rs 4,37,000/- or is it Enhanced Sum Assured as 5,10,000/- or is it both Basic Sum Assured and Enhanced Sum Assured as (4,37,000+5,10,000 = Rs 9,47,000/-)
                                        I am not sure why there is so much of difference is what was assured and what is mentioned in policy statement.

                                        4. It was informed me that I can contact the person who provided me the details i.e. Yogesh Surve anytime on the mobile number provided by him ([protected]). But I could not reach that fellow. He is not picking up my call or ignoring me, I am not sure.
                                        He had given me his employee number of Birla Sunlife Insurance Company as 502173. Now I doubt if this fellow is from Birla Sunlife Insurance Company only.

                                        I was totally cheated by Angel Financial Advisors Pvt Ltd. and now I do not have option but to wait and keep investing in the plan for which I am not going to get committed benefits.

                                        Also I do not get any support from Angel Financial Advisors Pvt Ltd. for getting my queries resolved.

                                        I hope you understand and take immediate action on my concerns. The worst of all the insurance companies I feel.
