I have Purchased Boat Rockerz 335 on Amazon on 13th July 2021. I am facing an issue with earbuds and it keeps on falling down and there is no point in using this earphone with this issue. So, I decided to get a replacement as this is under warranty. I requested to return on 27 October 2021. They have created a Ticket ID 3859081 and arranged a return. Return was picked up on 28 October 2021. Then I received an email on November 1, 2021 as we have stopped production of this model so we will offer you Boat Rockerz 330 ( which is a lower end model compared to Boat Rocker 335). I purchased Rockers 335 because of its Qualcomm Aptx technology and CVC technology. But Rockers 330 doesn't come with this feature. So, I decided not to accept this offer.I responded to them immediately not to send this earphone, just send my original item back with a new pair of earbuds. They responded to me back on November 27, 2021. To offer Rockers 330 with Bassheads 152 as a gift. But they won't offer any warranty for the gift. I don't trust them to send me genuine items. So, I requested a full refund on the same day itself. They again responded with the same email on December, 3, 2021. Again I requested a refund on the same day. Then I didn't get any response from them. So, I decided to contact their CEO. And searching for their contact details on their website and internet. Surprisingly I couldn't find the details on their website. So, I contacted their customer service through twitter. They again asked me for full details of the issue and they gave me the same solution to replace it with a different model. This issue is going on till now. Their warranty policy says
(14.9 In the event of obsolescence of a product or any other reason whatsoever, if boAt is not able to repair/replace the product during the warranty period, boAt will have the option to offer a product with equivalent features or give refund, based on the utilisation period of the product. The decision of boAt in this regard shall be final. For the purposes of refund, the calculation will be done based on the purchase invoice value not exceeding the MRP. Original proof of purchase is mandatory to be submitted to boAt Service Centre.)
They don't offer me product with equivalent features. So, I requested a refund, and they were ready to give only 40% refund. I submitted a claim in 4th month from purchase, they only consider it from 6th month as per current date. Now I am requesting a full refund as they don't offer me an equivalent featured product. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.
