Complaint No 4706 Daed 17.11.2015. Lodged with M/S Bridge Stone India Pvt Ltd. After a few days of purchase ie after running appox 1500 kms Tyres Bridgestone one of the tyres was taken by the Bridgestone dealer M/s Kawal Tyre Ludhiana, for replacement due to the manufacturing defect. But the representative of The Company denied to replace the tyre with the remarks " Bead Damaged due to improper Mouunting /Demounting. No manufacturing Defect of tyre." We may presume that The bridge Stone has supplied such a below standard Quality tyre for which Bead got damaged simply by mounting/demounting through the authorized dealer of the company. I may request that the fault lies with the Bridge stone co or the Dealer of the co. So why should I pay a sum of Rs 2370.00 as replacement charges.     I am Naveen Mittal, have purchased Swift vdi regn.no.HR29AJ4373 on 15/02/2015. Two tyres of car got cracked 2 times on the same day on rear left side. One tyre got cracked while moving towards Delhi. I changed the Stepney tyre but it also got cracked. I went to Batra Auto Company regarding the problem but they referred the same to bridgestone office, faridabad. Where they refused to replace it also. Please sort out the matter as I have no Stepney tyre in emergency. I have attached the image of tyre.

      I hav purchased VERNA CAR in month of january2015, i drove my car just 6000km within 6 months. After very short span o[censored]sage one of the tyre was deshaped and looked like Air is accomated on one side pocket of tyre, immediately I have reported to the Tyre shop, during the inspection they also found that it is almost like manufacturing defect and asked me to submit the tyre for inspection and replecement.I want the company should give replacement of my car's tyre. I am sure company is trying to fullfill from the promise they have maid for the warranty claim. Here by request to please take a suitable action.

        Dear Sir/mam, 1. I Sumit Kumar, had purchase Hyundai VERNA on 07 APR.201 which was fitted with Bridgestone tyre. In one tyre whichich has air pocket is seen. The wheels have done approx 10, 000 Km till date and there has been no puncture on it. 2. I am enclosing the pictures of the defect and the details of the said tyre. 3. While I was going through web site complaint on your product, I have come across two similar complaints on same Car and tiem of purchase. It seems there has been a manufacturing defect on a particular lot. 4. In view of above it is requested that the said defective tyre may kindly be replaced at the earliest. 5.           Dear Sir, I have purchased the Bridgestone tyre on 17th July'2015 at the Bridgestone dealer shop ( Sri V.M Tyre Centre, Alagapuram Village, Palaniyapuri Post, Attur Taluk). While purchasing it, they promised me that there is warranty replacement in case of any fault other than Tyre Physical Damage due to rough usage. Once after my purchase i have traveled about 35 kms and new bridgestone Tyre got busted. Immediately I have reported to the Tyre shop(Sri V.M Tyre Centre), during the inspection they also found that it is almost like manufacturing defect and asked me to submit the tyre for inspection and replacement. After the inspection Bridgestone company told that the problem is due to the hard hitting of some object and can not be consider under warranty claim. But I didn't have any incidence of hard hitting to my tyre as i am traveling in Bye pass road.. I am sure the Bridgestone company is trying to differ from the promise they have made while purchasing for the warranty claim. Bridgestone company is cheating their customer by giving defect products and while going for claim, it is giving some wrong reasons and this will make us to not prefer the bridgestone tyres going forward.

            I am having car hyndia verna. one tyre of car swell up from side wall. But it has just consumed 17000 km and consumed life is 2 year. The company did not give the claim to us . They said it did not come under warranty. They said that that it is because something has bit hard to it . I didn't agree to it . They should give us claim

                I had purchased a Hyundai Fluidic Verna in January '14, which came fitted with Bridgestone Tyres. About 3 months back, 2 tyres developed a swelling on the outside wall. I did not pay much attention to it then, but when I went for getting a puncture in the tyre fixed in March '15, the person at the workshop (Tyre Dynamics, NOIDA) told me that a swollen tyre was unsafe to be driven on. He also advised that I could try contacting the company for warranty service as the swelling did not seem to be due to usage. Following the advise, I contacted the Bridgestone POC for Western UP - Himanshu. After many follow-ups, he finally fixed a date (10th March '15) to inspect the tyres. After a brief inspection of both the tyres - which both happened to be the rear tyres, he declared that this could not be covered under warranty as one tyre had a cut on the inside and the other had a bump. He stated that because he tyre had been driven on very low air pressure and had hit some very hard object the side-wall had given way and that caused the swelling. Taking what he stated to be true, I returned. Later on when I was at the same workshop for having my car washed, I happened to speak to the same guy at the workshop regarding this. He smiled and told me that these were all "tactics" used by companies. He also showed me that where the cut and bump was, which were both on the base of the tire and not on the side-wall, were far from where the tyres were swollen. Feeling cheated, I wrote to the Bridgestone customer service on 27th March '15, to which i have not yet received any reply! But post this email, the same person - Himanshu called me after 3 days to check about it. At first he denied that he had checked my car stating that he could not remember. I tried to help him recall that he had inspected my car at Reham tyres in Indirapuram, but to this he even stated that Resham tyres was not their authorized dealer and asked for some time to check his records. I called him the next day and surprisingly he recalled all details about the inspection and told me that he would send me the report in a day's time. It has been about a month now since the tyres were inspected and i still dont have the report! When icheck with Himashu, he tells me all kind of stories stating that he had submitted to the head office long back, maybe there was some problem with my email server, etc!                   Dear Sir, I have purchase a car from Maruti Seva Dealer at Nagpur. car was purchase in 2013 july. my car was running only 15000 km. but one tyre is damage they have find the bubble of tyre on outer side, thereafter i was reported to the seva dealer for complaint the issues. but he was telling me we are drive badly and heat to the some object thats why tyre is damage from side, but my car is only running between saoner To Nagpur and every body knows how the road condition of both distance. I was also told him to company guy but he was also told that the problem is due to the hard hitting of some object and can not be consider under warranty claim. Here by request to please guide for suitable action. So please I Humbled request to you, solve this my problem as soon as possible

                    I had purchased one set(4no''s) of tubless tyres to replace all the tyres of my Hyundai santro Xing car on 1/07/2014 from Chennai Tyre House, Ramapuram, Chennai.The front tyres were of Bridgestone make. On 27/07/14 when I wanted to take my car out, it was seen that one of the front tyre was punctured.Since I used to thoroughly check the tyres before the drive, I took the punctured tyre to the shop and there it was found that the tyre is damaged and has to be replaced.The dealer refused to change the tyre and asked me to contact the manufacturer.I contacted the manufacturer and they came to inspect the tyre and found that the tyre was damaged and agreed to replace the tyre but I had to pay half the amount more.Since I had to rectify the problem at the earliest, I agreed for the same but even after that the dealers/manufacturers were not at all co operative and used to tell me that the tyres were out of stock and after a number of telephone calls and emails I got the tyres replaced on 22/10/2014.Now the same tyre which was replaced got punctured on 07/12/14. Since there is no use of contacting the dealers/manufacturer as they are not at all cooperative, I would like to know the possibility in geting my money back or to get my defective tyre replaced with out any additional cost implication to me.

After the insection Bridgestone company told that the problem is due to the hard hitting of some object and can not be consider under warranty claim. I didn't have any insidence of hard hitting tomy tyre even since last few days I have not travelled for long distance. After long debate he advised me to bear 50% cost of two new tyre and one tyre bear 100 % cost I am sure company is trying to differ from the promice they have maid for the warranty claim. Here by request to please guide for suitable action. please 3 tyre change me in warranty

                        This is to inform you that I have purchased Two Bridgestone Turanza ER60 Tyres for Vento from their authorized dealer ‘The Rubber Rings’ situated at M I Road, Jaipur. Date of Purchase: 3rd July 2014 Dealer : The Rubber Rings, Jaipur Invoice No : 428 CASE OF FIRST TYRE After 15 days I noticed that one of the tyre got swollen/bubble on side wall. So I complain it to their authorized dealer for manufacturing defect as it is under warranty. Then Bridgestone Engineer visited the tyre and ready to compensate only 25% of the existing tyre price that also on the purchase of new tyre of Bridgestone and rest 75% I have to pay for the new tyre. And the old tyre he took with him. This all took between 24th July 2014 and even a new bill of 75% amount paid by me was issued. The new Bill No: 518 When I asked the Engineer why I have to pay as it is under warranty he told me this thing is not covered under the warranty. Then I asked there wasn’t anywhere mentioned about the terms of warranty and even your authorized dealer didn’t tell me about it. If this thing doesn’t comes under warranty why was the agent ready to compensate for 25% CASE OF SECOND TYRE On 16th August 2014 I observed that the other tyre had also got swollen which was purchased on 3rd July. I told the dealer about this and he called up Engineer. This time Bridgestone Engineer told me that it’s a same case as before and he was ready to compensate for 25% and after various efforts he became ready to compensate for 50% of new tyre price. But I regretted as I needed a tyre and how many times would I have to pay even after it’s under warranty. Tyre Code: 4WCB CEA1414 Mail has been done to them including the bills, photo of tyre. This was the first time I had to face such a problem. Even after buying such an expensive tyre from a reputed Company like Bridgestone never expected such a behavior will be done by them. I would like you to raise the compaint in consumer court against this company and help me to replace the tyre. And also let people know about how the cheating is been done by them.                           I have purchased Hyundai Verna Fluidic Model in Aug 12, While driving the car's front right tyre got cut from the side. I have escaped from a accident. As per me the tyre has not hit or rubbed with any thing. As per company's warranty of 4 years on tyre, the tyre should be replaced.

But Tata does not warranty the tires, so I must go to Bridgestone to file a complaint. But I expect a favorable response.

                              HI..I bought my new Verna fluidic on Sep 2010.After running about 2000 kms, one of the tryes got brusted and the other bulged out.On asked hyundai sales person told that they dont deal with tyres so the matter will be looked out by Bridgestone executive as the tyres are Bridgestone make.About 4-5 months back on many complaints they sent the photos of the damaged tyres to bridgestone.But till date I have not received any notifications regarding the matter.Plz help me out.

                              we bought 4 tyres bridgestone for our verna fluidic. one of the tyres burst on the move and it was shocking to us and we returned to the tyre vendor and the tyre was having problem. we worried about all the tyres and we have lost confidence onthe tyres any more .

                              just two months, less kms like 800 kms run, very much unsafe to use these tyres.
                              Pl give us the right solutions and replace the tyres

                                Dear Manufacturer,

                                I own Honda Civic 2006 bearing registration no. DL 2F GZ 0666. The said vehicle was delivered fitted with Bridgestone Tyres. The life of the same is understood to be more than 60000 km. The Vehicle has hardly done 30000 km and all the 4 tyres have been to the extent these have become bald, inspite of the fact that it is attended to proper maintenance including wheel balancing, alignment and tyre rotation as prescribed by Honda servicing guidelines, which can further be verified through the service records maintained with Ring Road Honda and Courtesy Honda. The performance and deteriorated condition of the tyre speaks of the non adherence to the manufacturing standards specified for the manufacturing of tyres.

                                The company is a reputed one and call for maintaining its accountability and reputation. It is strange to point out that your qualified engineer came to inspect the same on 12th September 2011, and despite of having proper service records being maintained he has refused to accept the defects of the tyres, rather commented on the quality of service rendered by Honda.

                                The running of the vehicle with such a deteriorated condition of the tyres is extremely risky. In the light of above you are hereby requested to look into the matter and make arrangement for replacement of all the tyres immediately at your cost within 7 days of receipt of this communication, henceforth the matter is taken up with appropriate authorities.

                                  We Purchased 3 Bridgestone Tubeless Tyres from Newbharath Tyres ,Cochin on 24 May 2011 & one of them burst on 25th May 2011 (next day of Purchase)

                                  It was informed to New Bharath on 27th May ,that our brand new Bridgestone Tyre burst at Munnar (first trip after putting brand new tyre).Luckily our Chevrolet TAVERA managed to escape without human accident.

                                  Today (01 June 2011) Bridgestone Engineer- Vishnu (+ 91 -[protected]) has declared that the Tyre had no manufacturing Defect & it was our fault that the Tyre burst . We have asked for a detailed inspection report ,which he has denied . He has also denied a Replacement stating that it had no manufacturing defects.

                                  This response & justification from a company of Repute like Bridgestone is not acceptable & requesting Consumer Court to provide justice to consumers like us.

                                    your manager whose number is [protected],has rejected replacement of a tyre(maruty wagon R) ,which developed a defect.I showed that tyre to many other dealers and all of them said that it is a company"s fault.Your executive did not examine it properly.I request you to replace it as soon as possible to avoid a legal suit.
                                    Please do not forget that your company is the biggest manufacturer of tyres in the world.

                                      I have purchased two new Bridgestone tyres for my white Opel Corsa, (AP09AU2090) on 28th of January 2011. I use the car sparingly that I have driven 40 KM so far. On 22nd of this month, while I was driving the vehicle on a highway, with a loud noise the front tyre (new Bridgestone tyre) got deflated and by sheer luck I could avoid ramming into a truck coming in the oposite direction. I pulled the car from the highway and replaced it with spare tyre & approached a tyre mechanic to check for punctures after driving & discovered that there in no puncute. The pin has been damaged. and the tyre was damaged too and developed wobling. When I took the tyre to the dealer, M/s Pranavi Enterprises, 1-91, Habsiguda X roads, Hyderabad, he said that he'd refer it to the manufacturer. Now the manufacrers techninal rep called me after 4 days & said, the tyre was damaged due to running under deflated condition. Problem with the preassure pin is different & they can help. I am taken aback at the reply as the careless setting could have costed life. And the company refusing responsibility is sheer callousness! I appeal to the authorities to look into this matter and kindly replace the damaged tyre with new tyre.

                                        Hi,

                                        I have purchased TATA SUMO GRAND MK II registation number (UP14BT 4178) on 27th Feb 2010 from Srinathji Motors. Bridgestone tyres are fitted in the this car. One of the front tyre of this card got brust on very good road conditions in the delhi city and due to this my car also got damaged and thanks to god that no harm happen to passenger. when I took this car to dealer Srinathji Motors to show them that front tyre was brust on road and car got damaged. They told me to go to bridestone local dealer for inspection. When we went there they behave rudely and refuse to accept their fault and refuse to entertain us. We have shown them another tyre of our car where there is bubble at similler place and can brust at any time. But they are not ready to accept their manufacture defects. hence we raise our compain (Complain Number - 1-[protected])to TATA MOTOR customer car in hope that they will lisen to me and they promish me to call me in 48 hrs time but there is no reply from them. Since one of their tyre already brust and another showing sign of brusting, there is danger of life to us but as usual Tata motor and Bridgestone company is not taking any responsbility. I request these company not to ingore these types of complian because it will have a risk to life.

                                        I will be thankful to you if you raise this concer to these company and ask them to replace these faulty tyres and compansate for the damage occures due to this.
