    This is to inform you that the driver in C-44 evening bus which halts around 6pm in evening at bhandup police station bus stop, it never stops the bus at savarkar nagar, thane. Many a times I have told him that it is a register stop in m-indicator as well as conductor gives the ticket in which it is specified veer savarkar nagar still every time he comes to fight for the same reason and never stop it. of the commuters are old age people still he never care to stop there in savarkar stop instead he drives the bus so fast purposely and stops it in yashodhan nagar, thane. i have to walk for 25 mins from there to reach my home I have a small child at home who is eagerly waiting in evening for me at home. This is shame on BEST drivers and BEST who don't even care for their commuters. Please take care of this problem because every day to reach home early I have to take the same bus. Please follow up and reply for my problem as soon as possible. Waiting for the reply

      To The General Manager Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport Colaba, Mumbai Sub: Regarding misbehaviour by bus conductor at CST bus depot Sir, With reference to above mentioned subject, Kalpana Verma, a Principal Correspondent with the Indian Express, want to state that there are lot of instances of misbehavior on part of bus conductor, especially the younger conductors, who have been found to be very arrogant towards lady passengers. On my way to office at Nariman point on August 25, I found the bus stand of 138 very crowded. I had to leave one bus as all male passengers forcibly boarded the bus first, leaving lady passengers standing in the queue behind. As there was no seat, I did not board the bus. So when the next bus came at 6.26pm, I tried to board the bus jus one and half meter before the stop of 138. However the bus conductor did not allow me to get in. When I asked him to request passengers to stand in queue, he advised me to board the bus from the bus stop. When bus reached near the stop, people rushed to get in. In the rush, many lady passengers got hurt. I also got hurt on my right hand. One lady commuter even complained as she was carrying a child with her. Even I told the conductor to ask people to stand in queue. Instead of hearing us out, he yelled back at us and told me, `` Tumko stand se pahle chadne nahi diya, isliye tum aisa bolta hai.Tum giro pado hamse kya matlab. Queue lagwana hamara kam nahin hai.’’ He continued to yell when I asked him who was supposed to monitor the queue to ensure hassle free boarding. I am mentioning the details of the of the bus, hoping that you will look into the matter. I request to take action against the bus conductor so that he does not misbehave with passengers in future. Such bus conductor should be given training of how to behave with passengers. Details of bus are – Bus no- MH-01, LA- 6380. Time 6.28 pm.)         Hi, I use buses from the ekta nagar Malad mumbai to reach my workplace..I can use 224 or 259 or 79 buses to commute to my workplace..however from 11.30 the frequency is very low of all the 3 buses.There is excessive crowd of college students too at this time but buses are few.please make provision for our safe and easy travel.

          past 3months my electricity bills have trembled awfully. May 2014 June 2014 july2014 has really scared me...I hv no new appliances in use infact were on a holiday have also cut off on geyser usage as in whr I was using two geysers hv switched to one using of washing machine hv also been thrice in a week ...so to my best hv cut down on electricity so it scares me even more...the more I save electricity even much more is my electricity bill...I fail to understand to where have I been going wrong...I request u and would appreciate if this matter be looked immediately ...

            Its a shame for BEST for pathetic AC BUS Services in MUmbai. I am a regular travellers for this servic for last 3 years and never seen any improvement., In fact its deteriorating every day. Following are the issue 1) BUS quality - Less said is better. Buses are good for Airport Internal Transfer. Poor and 3rd grade quality 2) Poor time management, Always there is delay . BEST Authorities are not sensitive to even to hear out anything. 3) Failure rate - too many. failures, AC get stopped. Buses are leaking in monsoon. I trust this is prime services. Authorities from BEST are least bothered. Strengthening of the is services has potential of decreasing the congession. I have written multiple mails to BEST with no help

              The frequency of buses on link road from Malad to Borivali on Link road is too low especially during the peak hours of 7.30 to 9.00 in the evening. There are only 2 buses - 229 and C12 running on this way. These buses do not turn up at Malad depot bus stop for 45-60 minutes. There is huge rush once the bus is there and difficult for public to move in. Kindly increase the frequency of these buses or introduce new buses on this route so that travelling would be convinient for the passengers during the peak time. Hoping for your kind co-operation.

                Dear Sir,

                On 23rd March 2014, I boarded in a bus no. 37 from ''Parsi General Hospital'' approximately between 7.20am to 7.30am and wanted to go to ''COM.P.K.KURNE CHOWK''

                However it seems the driver was new and he drove the bus directly from GLAXO missing several stop as mentioned below.

                When I tried to enquired about the same to the conductor, he first tried to ignore me after several attempt he got angry and started yelling at me. He used such words that I can't even use it in my email.

                Still I kept myself calm and requested him to speak in gentleman spirit and requested him to leave me to the stop for which I have taken the ticket for. He literally abused me and stopped the bus and asked me to leave the bus immediately or else he warned me to face the consequences.

                I was shocked and bit feared to see him talking to me like this, so I immediately got off the bus in fear at ''DR.RAVINDRA KULKARNI CHOWK / SASMIRA'' and came all the way walking to my destination.

                Sir it's my sincere request to please take action against the conductor so that other commuters do not face such kind of incident again.

                I am a person who never believes in complaining and all.. But the experience which I had today left me with no other option.

                Hope you will take this complaint very seriously and would do something in this case.

                  It's being more than 17 months we are striving hard to get the bill amount normal. But we fail to the same. There was a light of hope when we complained to our consumer forum 6 months before, after complaining we are not getting the bill(document) to our home. We need to collect the bill from the Wadala office and we are doing the same from the last 6 months. As our home ventilation is not more than a light and a fan. Even we have reached out to the higher level (Feb 2013) officers their responding statement was "We know that it's a mistake from our end but we are helpless it will take sometime to get resolved". But we are so unfortunate that it hasn't resolved yet. As there are other issues also pertaining to the units charged by BEST which is not applicable to us. But we want to get the elephant out from the hole rather than concentrating on a tail. So request you to look into the issue in depth.                     To, The General Manager BEST Mumbai. Dear Sir, As usual I have taken 545 bus from chakala bus stop I had 40 Rs. Daily pass I was standing beside conductor I saw the seat left to the rear door of bus on which two thin guys where seated they adjusted themselves and made some space for me and looked at me I said ok and shifted myself there by crossing conductor to sit on seat when I was sitting on 3rd seat conductor said “no you can’t sit here” because he want to stand there I said “this is public seat and if both the passenger have no problem then what is your problem”, he stopped the bus then I kept my bag on seat, he said lift the bag otherwise I will stop the bus I said do what you want to do but I will not lift that bag from seat he again stopped the bus and started criticizing me I said what is your batch no. I will coplain about you in Airoli Bus Depot, he said I will show you what I can do before reaching Airoli I said ok show me what you want to show I am ready. Then other passengers were suffering because bus was stopped. I lifted the bag and kept on lap of passenger he was young boy he had no problem with that. Bus conductor continued criticizing on me and threatened me by saying that he will give in hands of Police and teach me a lesson I said ok do what you want to do because I was sure about that I have not made any offence. Bus conductor stopped the bus at L&T stop and said driver to take the bus side but Driver stopped it on road there was traffic jam bus conductor step down and called two traffic police constables and tried to threatened me. Police constable asked me what happened I told them the scenario they said me to say sorry to the conductor and let the bus go. As per their suggestion I apologized to conductor in front of those traffic Police constables and other passenger in the bus, but conductor was so tempered he has not listened he said I will take you to police station and stopped the bus at that time all passenger started to request to start the bus and close the issue bus conductor said he wanted teach me a lesson. One of passenger advised me to get down from bus and take another bus I listened to him and when I tried to get down from bus conductor stopped me and said don’t go I want to take you to police. Then any how I have managed to get down, Bus conductor also came behind me and hold my hand so badly my bags belt torn by him. I was so scared then people on road came and made me free from conductor I took another bus 492 from L&T stop. I left the bus at Bhandup pumping stop and came at bhandup pumping stop to take bus for Airoli same 545 bus came there I took the same bus I have not said a single word to the conductor I noted down the bus number when bus came near to bus depot bus conductor tried to tease me but I have not reacted as soon as bus entered in the depot I step down from bus I approached complaint taker that old fellow official of BEST asked me what happened I told the scenario to him at that time same conductor came and started criticizing me why you run away from bus I said I don’t wanted to waste other passengers time he said you are “baailya” and used a bad word “tuzya aaichi gaand” and came on me to hit me fortunately there were other BEST employees came and hold him and took him aside. I took the complaint book and filled the form and submitted it to the person who was present there to take complaint. I request you to kindly take necessary action against the conductor for misbehaving with passenger in such a manner.                       This complaint is regarding the BEST BUS no. 334 management. First thing, its frequency is very very less from ghatkopar and also from Gautam Nagar (1 bus in 40 mins). Many times the bus dont even come for more than an hour. Many times after the 11.40 am bus leaves, the next bus comes at 12.45 pm. The Management of this bus is absolutely pathetic. Atleast there should be one bus in 20 min (The 340 bus comes in every 3 minute) Also, please place a security guard at this stop because its difficult for ladies to get into the bus. Theres a security guard at 340 bus stop. Arrange here too.

In bill details there, last reading mention is "0" & current is "1475". Where as I have checked our last bill & current reading is "571" & also checked current reading is "612" Request to look in to this, send your person to check the current reading again & send the corrected bill soon.                             I would like to inform about today's incident about the bus rout of 522 from vashi railway station to Marol depot. The regular bus time of departure from vashi railway station is 6.50 am today the bus conductor left the bus at 6.54 am and i asked him the bus timing is 6.50 am and why the bus depart at 6.54 am than bus conductor said the bus timing is 6.55 am.on daily basis the bus left the vashi railway station at 6.50 am. Also he said there is 2 staff member board at airoli who didn't get this bus, my question is this bus service is for only staff member or for public. We always getting late to reached at office due to this reason. Also they gives preference only B.E.S.T. staff member only rather than public.The conductor batch no: is 192061

                              I am a regular traveller by the bus no. 461 from borivali to mulund. I regret to inform that the bus frequency after 11 am is pathetic. The bus which should arrive at 11:45am at borivali is always late by 45-60 mins. the time table states that there are 4 buses from 11:45-12:45 namely (11:45, 12:00,12:10,12:25,12:35) but all these buses are cancelled on regular basis. I had raised a complaint earlier on the portal provided by "BEST" but there was no response.

                                  I would like to bring to your notice, even though you know but are still ignoring it, that the AC buses are really in pathetic condition. I dont understand why I am paying AC bus fare when the AC is not working at all. I travel from Thane to dadar by AS-3 or AS-1, either the doors are kept open everyday or there is a leakage on the seats. I demand to be charged normal bus fare, when the AC is not working. Its high time they stop taking AC bus fare when the public is not getting any benefit out of it.

                                    Sir,

                                    The King-Long buses imported from China are good for Mumbai darshan. They are not suitable for office-goers who are in a hurry to reach office in the morning. The King-Long buses run on a maximum speed of 40 Km/hr. The average speed is 15 - 20 Km/hr. All auto-rickshaws overtake the giant buses on the road. The buses frequently break down inconveniencing the public. During breakdown, the Mumbai darshan public can enjoy Mumbai more; not we office-goers!

                                    Today morning,the AS-2 bus left at 0745 morning from Mira Road station to Worli and was going at a speed of some 2 Km/hr. It was taken to Magathane depot at 0815 and terminated because it could not carry itself. I had a seat. After getting down I was standing in another bus. I got down at Dattani Park, waited for 20 minutes and took the A-70 bus. Reached office late by half an hour.

                                    Please return the King Long buses to China. Why does not BEST learn from NMMT who have Volvo buses from Sweden. The Volvo buses are far superior. The King Long buses are far inferior. The only superiority is the bus ticket rates BEST charges from passengers.

                                    I think we all public should travel by trains and save money.

                                      This is the mail which i had sent to Mr.Om. Prakash Gupta at his mail id ([protected]@bestundertaking.com) on
                                      27 th April regarding the non functional Electronic digital Board ( led indicator bus number) but i guess Mr. Gupta is still sleeping, no rply and not even the problem has been solved
                                      Today i again missed my bus, till the time i could find out the number of the buss it left and again the same story, i don't know why Mr.Gupta is still sleeping and not even had a curtacy to revert on my complaint there might be two reasons the mail id which i found from the net is either incorrect or Mr.Gupta want people to do the self service he is wating for people to react in an indecent manner by comming directly at his office and give him all the frustration, irritation and all the love he wants and change all the electronic indictor by the public themselves with the help of rod and bamboos
                                      If possible any one who would read this complaint plz update me with correct mail id of the respected GM of BEST how is still sleeping

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I am writing this mail to inform you that none of your BEST Bus Electronic digital boards (LED's) are working it is a pain in the buds to find the number on the bus coming from a distance, if a young person like me find it so difficult so imagine the problem faced by the senior citizen, it is not a new thing that people complaining against the bus drivers and conductors but it seems odd that no one has yet complaint against the buses in which they are traveling every day I guess people know their all complaints are falling on the def ear, let me inform you that this problem has not been raised sudden I am observing this since more than 1 year at starting it was 1 or 2 buses that had problem as per my knowledge there are three sign board on the bus front back and at the door, at starting it use to be the back or the front but slowly none of the indicators are working a small piece of paper with number has been pasted or it is manually written by the chalk.

                                      I dought that any one of your checking department has ever examined any of your bus since a year if no then it is a real shame and if yes then also its a shame that even after checking no action has been taken, we Mumbaikar has a problem "Kam chalta hai to chalne de jab bawal hoga tab dhek lenge"
                                      and thank for the Einstein guy who got with idea of sticking number on a piece of paper on the bus its like "Hatti ke pichwade pe till" hard to find which number is it, in the morning its a peak hour people are in such a hurry to reach their office that no one has time to play your sick game of finding Nemo on the bus, and all the above the conductor the way they answer if anything being question makes the day of the person.

                                      Once i asked the conductor why don't you guys fix the light, the answer that i got from that Mr. Einstein was the lights are working it is due to the sunlight you are not able to read it, that means the R&D department of the BEST are not capable to think about the day light problem, or we are the one who got the problem that we can't see the led indicator number in the day light which was visible few years back.

                                      Requesting you to please solve the problem or instead change that board back to the old cloth indicator we would be more happy

                                        BUS ROUTE A-70 AND AS-2 from MANTRALAYA/WORLI to MIRA ROAD

                                        When Monthly/Quarterly pass holders pay money 100% in advance, the least they can expect is value for money spent and customer service. How can they truncate services and cause discomfort and hardship to customers. How can BEST justify charging extra for services beyond municipal limits and then short-changing bonafide passengers?

                                        Today I boarded an AS-2 bus from Worli NSCI around 2.00 pm to go to Mira Road. At Borivali Omkareshwar Temple stop I was woken up from my sleep by the conductor saying the last stop has arrived. The time was around 3.45 pm. When asked the conductor said buses go to Mira Road only after 5.30 pm.

                                        I got down and did not know which bus to take to reach Mira Road. I boarded bus no. 478 and got down at Borivali East. Then I boarded bus no. 297 bound for Kokanipada and got down at Ganesh Nagar bus stop on the Western Express Highway. Then I got into 706 Ltd going towards Bhayandar and got down at Silver Park. Waited for twenty minutes and caught C-71 and reached Mira Road at 5.00 pm.

                                        Is this how BEST expects its customers to travel. Paying for an AC bus service beyond municipal limits and then travelling by countless buses to reach home. Is this customer service?

                                        pls start new bus route from N.N.P. to Towards Borivali & Towards Dadar. People of N.N.P. & Santosh Nagar always change bus from Dindoshi or highway.

                                        I would like to bring to your notice the horrifying experience I had with the BEST staff. Details are as below.

                                        Commutes between : Borivali Station East to Hanuman Tekdi
                                        Timing : Left station approx 8.55 am / aliting time 9.05am
                                        Date : 17.10.2010

                                        I boarded the bus at Borivali East (First stop) and wanted to alight at S.T. Depot at Nancy colony. The bus driver was reckless and was driving in utmost dangerous manner. While the bus was nearing S.T.Depot Stop I gradually came towards the front alighting door, and to my great surprise the conductor rung the bell and the driver did not stop the bus least realizing about my getting down. I just missed getting into the front tyre and managed to get away with minor injuries.

                                        I immediately took an auto back to the starting point at Borivali station asking for details to lodge a complaint but was shocked towards the negative attitude of the attendants. Meanwhile the same bus conductor was back being a very short route, I pointed him to the attendant to which he started arguing with me with an abusive and rude language and started behaving hysteric and provoked the staff to beat me with blows.

                                        Sir I am 56 years old and an acute spondelosis patient and have gone thorough a painful and bitter experience for my genuine problem.

                                        May I request you to investigate an impartial and detailed enquiry into my problem and give justice to me.

                                        B.E.S.T. Ac bus service — Stoppage at the Bus stop

                                        AS- 525 driver doesnt stop at all allocated stops.People stand and wait for these a/c bus for more than half and hour to an hour and these bus drivers conveniently pass by. I take this bus at hirananadani stop where there is a signal just 20 meters away. i ran after the bus to catch it and knocked at the door more than 5 times and still the driver didnt open and the and drove of as the signal went green.
                                        Who gave the right to these drivers to not stop at their bus stop.
                                        Are the people mad to wait for the bus for so long in the rains. And this is not a one day story. Many bus driver have been doing that. Once i have even encountered a driver who stopped the bus 10 yard away from the stop to just let the people alight and not let anyone get in. This behavior is just not acceptable.
                                        I request strict actions to be taken against these drivers.
