I am a consumer of BEST electricity. My consumer number is[protected]*2. My address: Flat 52, Building no 7, seva samiti housing society, sion koliwada, mumbai -400037. Our electricity bill is Rs. 7540 for the last month while we just use one AC for 7 hours daily, a fridge and TV. This has happened in the past as well. This is an humongous amount and such amounts for non-usage of electricity is not acceptable. Request you to do the needful to solve the problem of excessive bills. Probably a meter check would be good.

      We the resident of Dharavi Mumbai, are receiving electric bill of Rs 4000 to 5000 every month . Entire resident of our locality are facing this issue since a couple of months. Our attempts to reach the concerned authority and raise a complaint have all been in vein . No complaint is taken till now every time we are forced to pay the bill which comes up . Imagine a Middle class family members with an monthly salary of less than 15000 paying...

      The BEST buses on route no. C12 and route no.229 are not plying as per the frequency. It takes 35-45 mins for another bus to come. This waiting time is too much. One cannot stand for 35-45 mins on bus stop. I asked the conductor of the bus regarding the frequency & bus timing. He simply replied "Aamhala maahit nahin". Also the buses are fully crowded due to which passsengers are getting robbed and ofcourse the female passengers are getting molested. Request you to kindly look into it and increase the frequency of the bus on both the route.

          Bus 497 which is from ghatkopar depot is not in function on public holidays specifically in evening there is not a single bus which make overburden on 453 and hours of waste of time so pls let us know how we can take necessary action against such depot which can make them punish and put this bus service most effective.

            To, The BEST Senior Electricity Officer, Respected Sir, My Consumer No.[protected]*2, Meter No. 2125136 resident of Swarajya CHSL, Dadar.I have lodged a complaint for faulty bills last three years back and i used to receive faulty bill every month and every month we gone to ward office for correction and they used to make the changes according the consumption.Every time the engineer used to answer that we will not receive the faulty bills from next month but this dint happen. And now i have received bill of twelve thousand which i have to pay according to them.According to them the adjustments for the bills and penalties had been added to it.They charging penalties for last three years which has incurbbed in my latest bills. And we are unable to pay the huge amount at one go.Kindly look into this matter urgently and put an end to this once and all. Thanking You,

              Hi Team, Itravel from Malad Mit chowki to Powai for my job, however specially in the evenings the frequency is as less to 1 bus in an hour or 1.15 hr, besides this whenever they halt it overcrowded making it imposs for anyone to get in and at times they don't even bother to hal at the stop, which makes it to 2hrs of waiting for another bus. would appreciate if you could look into the matter coz on a whole me and other are wasting a lot of time. if you can inderstand

                I took the 3 month bus pass from mulund check naka bus depot. I asked for the pass from mulund check naka to bhandup Sonapur, but was given the pass from mulund station (w) to Sonapur. I thought they meant mulund bus station and there was no difference in ticket fare. I used the pass on the same day and next day for travel between mulund check naka to Sonapur. Bus conductor checked the pass and did not say anything. It was only on 27th August evening one bus conductor brought to my notice that the pass is of wrong route. I went to the mulund check naka bus depot, but the man at the counter simply refuse to accept his mistake and said it's your responsibility. I tried to explain the misunderstanding, but he said now nothing can be done and I have to use the same pass. My entire 1470 rupees are waste. His behaviour was extremely arrogant and I was so irritated by it that I threw up the pass in the dustbin at depot. All the bus drivers and conductors stood there watching the whole drama. On one side best appeal people to travel by best bus and on other side customer have to loose money for mistakes done by their employees. I doubt if I would travel by best bus again.

                  Dear sir/Madam I travel daily from bandra to vashi naka (chembur) or chembur to ?Bandra. I ususally catch 473 bus to reach at my destination. but this 473 bus always gets late according to the internet and people sits in the depot the bus should come in every half n hour. but it never happens bus gets late for 1 hour, some times it gets late for 1 n half hour or 2 hours specially evening buses. I have complained many time in the Bandra depot ( asking them that, y bus always gets late) but there were not convincing answers i get. some times they cancels the bus without any notifications or announcements. my complain n my question is ... how poor people will travel ( there is only one bus from bandra station to vashinaka )? is publics time is not valuable? from last 6 months i am facing this problem, is there any end to this problem ?

                    Hi, We have electricity from BEST, worst service providers as per my experience Consumer No[protected]*8 From may15 onwards our electricity bill has shot uphold thrice of the average bill of last year though there has been no change in utilisation at our end - we have been trying to get theproblem resolved but to no avail. In May month, when the bill came to 750 units and we checked, we were informed that metres have changed and bills will be regularised from next month. In June month, bill came of1140 units and we sent written compaint their Dadar office on 17/07/2015 which they refused to accept and then I sent three complaints in below mentioned manner 1)registered complaint was sent to them on 17th July 2) online complaint was submitted on 20/07/2015 - Online Complaint Number CGRF BEST/GEN.COMPLAINT/NORTH/04/20/07/2015 3)Mail sent to Divisional Engineer at ids [protected]@bestundertaking.com and [protected]@bestundertaking.com No action taken on any of these complaints and this month again my bill has come of 875 units I he paid up all the bills and my only submission has been to get the metre checked as the problem has started from the time metres have been changed and some other flat's units are getting billed to me Pls let me know if someone can help me in resolving the issue Thanks & Regards Smriti Govil [protected]

                      I made a transaction yesterday dated 12th july 2015, where i was buying buss pass from Khar route to Sakinaka junction amount 1122/- wherein i was charged the amount and transaction got successful through bank, but i did not receive any confirmation from BEST undertaking for the pass.                         Kindly do note the details of the incident below, where the bus conductor(s) misbehaved/harassed with me, a lady passenger en route Santacruz (E). Attached are the pictures of the bus, and one of the conductors for your reference. Time of incident: 10:15am Date: 23.06.15 Bus number: 313 Place of incident: near Kurla bus depot Bus number plate: MH 01 LA 5642 During the monsoons, everything is wet and one cannot expect a currency note that is clean and dry, and as good as new. I boarded an empty double-decker BEST bus from Kurla station. I gave the conductor a Rs.10 note in exchange for a ticket to Metro bus stop today. He examined the rupee note and put it inside his satchel without any questions. He moved on to the next passenger and collected their ticket, and gave my Rs.10 note as a change. The other passenger refused to accept it because it was a little damp. So the conductor comes back to me and starts screaming at the top of his voice to give him another new note. I was taken aback by shock and surprise because I was not aware of what happened and was trying to understand the situation. I do not know Marathi, and in my broken-Hindi + English, politely asked him what his problem was and why he is screaming. For which he replied in a very harassing tone and manner, that I should speak in Marathi and not in English, and it's the passengers who do all the drama, and he doesn't take these rupee notes back to his home, and it was not his problem. If damp note was a problem, he should have told me at the beginning when I was buying the ticket, but he didn't. Just because the other passenger had an issue, he vented out all the anger on me, and till the end I was very polite and respectful.One of the passenger even questioned this conductor as to why he is screaming... The two conductors (double-decker bus) teamed up against me and started blaming in Marathi.. They even threatened me that they will take me to the Police station. I was not scared, kept my cool and told them 'Chalo police station chale'. I was even ready to explain this situation to the police officer who would listen to my explanation because these conductor were miserable! By this time, the other passengers got irritated and solved the situation by exchanging notes and the conductor went to the upper deck. These kind of conductors who vent out their personal anger must be punished and be warned. They are a threat to the lady passengers and this questions the safety of BEST buses. Would please request you to take the necessary action against these two conductors. Attached is the picture of one of conductor, I didn't have the time to take a picture of the other conductor, who was the main guy screaming.

                          BEST bus drivers has attitude problem Date - 5 June 2015 Time - 7:00AM to 7:20AM Location - Borivali East Station Road, Mumbai Details: Purple AC Bus 0926 Driver was not getting empty space to park the bus. Intially he has stopped bus in between road bus one of Car owner told him to move ahead as he wanted to move is Car. After this request bus drives has moved bus around 100 feet and parked bus in a such a way that entire road is BLOCKED and no one can move. After doing such parking he left the bus and came back after 10 minutes. Once other bus has moved he did correct parking. All this has caused lot of traffic and he has troubled another 100 people. I dont understand what this guy was thinking. It seems he is not in a good mental condition to drive bus. BSES should pay from their pocket and give him correct medical treatment. BESE is proving very good service in Mumbai since so many years but because os such mentally ill people their good images is ruined.

                              This has happened 70% of times that I have travelled by AC bus. Earlier I used to take 461 from Mulund depot, now I take 525 or 524 from Bhandup pumping station. I don't even want to talk about the deplorable state of buses in the rainy season because I know its irreparable. But if the basic purpose of AC buses which I guess is AC doesn't work, then I seriously wonder the purpose of me paying the enormous ticket amount. What had started from Rs. 35 has multiplied 3 times to rs 100 but the maintainence has not even increased by 1%. On the contrary must say it has decreased manifold. I am still to understand as to on what is BEST spending money allocated to them, if they can't even fulfil the basic requirement of an AC bus.

                                  I am a regular commuter from Dadar Portuguese Church to Bandra Reclamation, nowadays we all are facing problem in the evening while coming back from office i.e. Lilavati hospital stop. I supposed this area is fully neglected by the BEST. There should be proper frequency in the evening from Bandra reclamation bus depot. Lots of offices are located here in this areas like MET, Lilavati, IES and many more private companies, BEST should consider the office timings and leave the bus from the depot i.e. 5.10/5.40/6.10/6.40. There should be proper frequency for No.1 bus. I request the authority to look into the matter and properly plan the timings, it is understood because of the traffic you cannot control Bus No. 86 and 212, but can hold bus No.1 and send in the proper intervals. Standing at the bus stop for long and after half-an-hour all three buses reach stop altogether is useless for the commuters. Hope you can understand our problem and look into this Bus depot for their bus frequency will be appreciated.

                                    Dear Sir, We the people of Goregaon(East) are fed up of the public transportation, the BEST is getting Negligent day by days. They are getting unaware of the peak hours especially between (9.30 - 11.00 am). B.E.S.T. JUST EXPECTS MONEY AND DOESN'T WANTS TO PROVIDE SERVICE. THEY DON'T WANT TO HALT BUSES, DON'T KNOW THE CORRECT TIMING OF WHEN TO PROVIDE THE BUS SERVICES. All bus arrives at one time and then no Bus for an hour. Today Date: 9th April, 10:15, Bus No. 327, didn't stop the empty bus. Some people caught the bus running. Please do take some action, which would pay off back economically to BEST rather than just increasing ticket price. Providing such service is actually increasing the traffic in city as every individual have started carrying their own vehicles.

                                      bus route number 312 going towards SEEPZ did not stop at the Gol building bus stop at 7:30 in the evening, which being the peak hour and in heavy traffic when people need the govt. transport the most. This sort of behaviour shows that the bus drivers and conductors are taking people for granted plus arguing with consumers saying its not their fault.please can someone take action on this incident which obviously is not a rare one, as the driver has not been punished yet and they are obviously confident that they can get away with this such sort of action
