Urgent: Unexpected Data Exhaustion & No Human Executive Support JioFiber

I am a JioFiber customer . I completed a 2-month JioFiber recharge, but my account now shows that 100% of my data (1000 GB) has been consumed, despite normal usage. As a result, my internet speed has been reduced to approximately 60 kbps, which is insufficient for regular browsing or work.
I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue through the following channels, without success:

Removal of additional STB

I submitted a request for removal of an additional STB on 12/09/2025, but till today(06/10/2025) no one has visited to complete the process — despite multiple reminders and follow-ups from my side. Each time I contacted your support, I was assured that an executive would visit within 1-2 days, but that has not happened. Due to this delay from your end, I was forced to pay the full bill unnecessarily. Now, another bill will be generated...

I don’t received my payment refund after cancelled order (message received on 17 February 2025) attached below.

Called several times to the Jio staff Mr. Santosh Raj contact no. [protected] now he is not picking phone or responding.

The above staff had promised that the refund will be credited in my account on Monday 17th march 2025 after the Holi festival but not credited yet (attached)

Please assist.

    Not processing refund even after 4 months

    I was using Jio Fiber services on my rented flat, but when i want to shift, i requested its disconnection, but they called me back and insist me to shift instead of closure, i discussed and shared the exact location and they said yes sir, we have our services there and we will provide you JIO air fiber.

    So i paid initial payment of 1000 on 15-Oct-2024.

    But later when jio installation person called me, , He said...

    Dear forum, I have taken Jiofiber connection for my tirupati home, Andhra Pradesh. The sales team of Jiofiber have visited the house and i have shown him the location where we planned to have router and my expectations on internet in terms of installation, speed and area to be covered. He promised everything and collected an amount of Rs 4700 plus and ensured connection will be provided on the same day. There were delays, escalations. Out of all these, after providing the internet connection, i checked and noticed that internet is coming only in 2 rooms. When i complained, the sales team and technical team has communicated that i have to go for extension meter which will cost another Rs 1000plus, for that also there is no guarantee that network is available in all rooms.
    My concerns:
    1. I already paid for six months and i can't utilise the service
    2. Both the sales team and installation team when visited the house has not communicated on the feasibility. Having communicated either during sales visit or during installation, i could have taken a different decision.
    2. They made wrong promises .
    3. If they keep on asking me for additional amount, my budget do not accept. Please think for how many customers they are doing like this.
    4. They are not smooth in handling the issues instead they threaten. If a customer raises concern, they threaten.
    5. They have not told me that amount will not be refunded after cancellation. Please suggest how can i have their network with out providing access to me to the internet.

      Jio Fiber Customer Service – An Awful Experience
      I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Jio Fiber, filled with customer service hurdles and endless runarounds. Here’s a detailed account of my interactions with their support team, outlining the evasive tactics they used, despite clear evidence of service failure.
      Timeline of Issues and Support Runaround
      September 12-15, 2024:
      Service Outage: The internet service was completely down for over four days. Initially, customer support mentioned a "temporary issue" expected to be resolved by September 12. However, the outage persisted well beyond this date.
      Empty Promises: After multiple follow-ups, the issue was finally resolved on September 15. This delay wasted an entire weekend, and there was no compensation or genuine apology for the inconvenience.
      October 7-13, 2024:
      Request for Rebate: I requested a rebate for the service downtime, but Jio Fiber denied the claim. They cited "no complaint registered" despite my clear communicat...-7, 2024:
      Continued Denial of Rebate: After showing email evidence and asking for clarity, Jio Fiber support continued cycling through excuses, often contradicting previous statements. They claimed either that I didn't raise a complaint in time or that the complaint period did not meet their 96-hour condition.
      Tactic to Frustrate Customers: It became clear that these responses were tactics to mentally exhaust customers into giving up on rebate claims. My emails exposed the lack of transparency, yet their responses remained dismissive, frustrating, and evasive.
      Summary
      Jio Fiber's customer support strategy seemed intentionally designed to deflect accountability. By using vague terms, irrelevant conditions, and circular arguments, they effectively denied my rightful claim, causing immense frustration and wasting my time. This experience reflects poorly on Jio's commitment to customer service and fairness, leaving me deeply disappointed with their approach to resolving valid complaints.

        Jio fiber connection refund request

        We have raised a request for new jio fiber installation on 6april 2024. It got scheduled for installation on 8th April 2024.. we have been waited for 4 days then contacted the customer and raised a request for cancellation. Till now there no progress or resolution for the request.

        On July 2023 jio fiber pole was removed near our street and claiming it will be putting back in a new place but there is no updates till now. As a workaround we are bringing a cable from long distance with the help of near by homes due to that our connectivity was distributing frequently could you please arrange a new pole on our street to make a permanently fix for our disconnection problem

        I raised this concern on email and the conversation is going for 6 months now. I also raised this on Twitter/X . Each time they are giving wait and they will solve the problem but till no no proper steps have been taken care

          I lodged a complaint 0n 30th August 2023 regarding failure to connect to the Jiofiber internet vide Request ID- SR00001Q6D0Y. It has been a week since I have been calling them daily, and there is no resolution in sight. The engineer assigned is rude and lies blatantly while the customer service is all about formal whataboutery, depriving our family of Internet, which is a fundamental right. I am planning to go for a legal recourse considering how helpless and disappointed I feel with JIOFIBER.

            This is regarding my Service request number SR00001DZJSK .I have raise a request regarding the internet issue I was facing since September 18, 2022.

            I raised the request in the morning of 19th and I received a call from technical team they visited my premises at 11:15 am and they went out to check the cable . They Cut my cable made the bundle of it and put that on my roof top .

            I requested them that I am having only 1 GB Data in my phone and I have several meetings so please help me out and kindly resume my connection asap .

            The technician said that he will come within next 1 hr and resolve the issue and then I waited till 2 PM no one came or called me . I started calling them they blocked my number and I have called them 10-12 times till 5 PM in the evening .

            I called them from another number the technician whose number is [protected] picked up the phone call and said that my Supervisor /Manager/The Area Service Provider has asked me not to do your connection and then he dropped my call and then stopped picking my phone from that number as well .When I call the customer care number they said that your issue is resolved and your request is closed, I sad them that I can send you the picture of the Bundle of cable which they have cut from the main box and put tat on my roof top .I have wasted my whole day waiting for your technician to come, please understand in todays life we have everything except time . Please try to fix my connection asap.

            Please advise if I have to go to Consumer Forum or take legal action as this is not at all acceptable that a company like Jio and their workers are doing like this to their customers . I believe you will consider this issue so as to prevent the same for other people who are in urgent need and will ask a help from your company .

              Hi Team,
              I had a JIO Fiber connection which stopped functioning and when I raised a complaint, the tech called and informed that he cannot fix the issue and recommended that I cancel the subscription. I have called their support 50 times, numerous mails sent, No one comes to pickup the router and process the refund from the day the services stopped working.
              Requesting to loop the escalations point of contact who can speed things up and Process the refund from the day services stopped working as I was asked to cancel the service, I did not do it willingly.

                I don't got my refund . my setuppox and wife was picked up on 4th may and it was comited that I will get refund in 14 working days..today its 1st august and till now there is no refund...even customer care is not answering for this...I want my refund now...

                  I have booked a JIOFIBER connection for my residence use purpose, at the time of booking I have been commented for the installation within 2 days of payment.

                  Therefore I have made a online payment for the connection, and its transaction id is[protected]-PAYTMJIO)

                  after today when I have not received any update I contacted to JIO person, through the call and received a very wag answer.

                  seeing the misbehaviour of the jio officers I have decided not to extend business relation with jio and cancelled my connection.

                  now since then, I have received 7 miscommetment from the JIO team for the refund and each time they are coming up with a new date.

                  you are requested to kindly intervene to the matter to get my hard earn money back.

                    It's surprising that my area has postpaid connection but no prepaid connection. This is your plan and tactic of registering postpaid so that it becomes difficult for customers to call you and request for temporary disconnection and still pay for over due charges for the time we haven't used.

                    Your connection speed has not caused me any trouble however the postpaid plan is something I'm not willing to live with. I have been cheated and misguided a lot with your schemes and am absolutely happy to use prepaid plan once again.

                    My sincere request kindly shift my current postpaid plan to prepaid and leave me without hassles. Thank you!

                      JioFiber team has to refund Rs. 1500 of security to me. All the devices haven been successfully submitted to them and after verification on November, 01, 2021 I received an email that a refund of Rs. 1500 has been initiated and will be credited via NEFT to my bank account in 72 hours. I shared the bank account details on the day they collected the device. Its been more than 60 days but no refund has been credited to my account. They sent me an update on November 22 that refund failed due to mismatch in bank details after I approached them for the update. Since them I have raised more than 10 complaints via their call center and emails sharing the bank details along with cancelled cheque so that their is no confusion in the bank details but still they gave the same reason, refund failed due to mismatch in bank details. I have asked them to share the UTR number of the last NEFT they made so that I can talk to my bank where is the problem but they refused to provide that and every time just they we need more time to look into the details. I have attached the email trail, without me reaching them they do not update me. I have dropped an email to their appellate team also but no response from them. They also say that they have also SMS me a link to submit my bank account details but I didn't receive any SMS from them in past one month and the point is when I have submitted a cancelled cheque the bank details are same only. Why they do not share the UTR number of the NEFT transaction they made. Could you please help me get this refund.

                        No refund even after 30 days

                        I applied for JioFiber connection under some scheme of a trial offer. I cancelled my connection under the trail offer as per scheme under which I was to get the full refund. The boxes of fiber were picked up more than 30 days before and refund time was 14 days. Its been more than the time mentioned by Jio but still there is no refund as of yet. I've called their customer care five times even they are just saying it is in process etc. and...

                          Recharge successful but not activated

                          Recharged my jio fibre plan (999+ GST) twice on 4th Aug 2021. I got the recharge successful sms but on the my jio app it still shows as no active plans. The recharge history shows up on the 'My statement' tab.
