I am looking for your help.

I never wanted to bother you for this issue. However, Chevrolet India left me with no other option.

This is with reference to my recent experience at Chevrolet service centre in Gurgaon, Haryana (India). Vehicle Registration No:

I brought my Chevrolet spark to the service centre in Gurgaon, Sec 14 (Aravali Auto), Haryana, India, on 27th May 2016 for regular service.

I informed the service advisor that I have installed the CNG kit in my car. Let me know if you guys are comfortable getting the service done without disturbing the CNG system.

The service advisor was confident and said that we will not touch the CNG system.

He checked everything in my car and prepare the list of things done apart from service. The service advisor prepared the estimate for the all the things which needs to be done.

One of the thing which was supposed to be done was rectification of engine mis-firing.

So they, spend two days and have me wait for 6 hours at their centre, however did not rectify the engine mis-firing problem and also damaged the CNG system in my car.

After two days. The service advisor told me that first you disconnect the CNG system and bring the car to get this repaired.

This is something which I did not expect from Chevrolet India.

If Chevrolet India team is not comfortable working on cars having CNG installed, they should have told the customer at the time of preparing the Job card.

The service advisor prepared the bill (which was aligned with estimate) and asked me to pay. So I made the complete payment as I had no option but to get my car release from their workshop.

I made the complete payment to the service centre, even though my car was not repaired property and also get CNG system damaged.

I went to Chevrolet service centre with the expectations that my car is in save hands. But Chevrolet India team completely changed my thinking about the kind of service Chevrolet is providing in India.

It seems that they just wanted to ensure revenue generation and don’t even bother what happens to vehicle.

I shared the incident with Chevrolet customer care on the next day and got immediate response that they are looking into this.

Later I get a call from Chevrolet Service Centre (Aravali Auto) Customer care manager, she acknowledged the issue and assured me that they will the car properly. She requested me to bring the car on 4th Jun 2016 to the service centre and they will repair the car properly. I will have to bear the cost of CNG disconnection (which is around ₹100-150 as per your service provider). If they would have told me that they are not comfortable working with CNG system, I would have taken my car to some other service centre who are comfortable working on CNG cars. However, I agreed to pay the CNG disconnection charges.

On 4th Jun 2016, I handed over my car to same workshop and till date, the problem have not been rectified.

It really hurts, that ever after making complete payment, my car is not repaired properly and also damaged the CNG system.

Now they are refusing to fix the CNG system which they damaged during the service.

I am not been able to use my car for the last 9 days.

I think, its very important to treat all customers equally, no matter even if they have an entry level car from Chevrolet.

Treating customer with small cars in such a way will not help in building a good image of Chevrolet. We in India have emotional attachment with our cars (specially first car) and we can’t keep quick if such incidents happen.

I request you to please look into this and help me to get this fixed.

      My chevrolet beat power steering got malfunction. When checked it is informed its eps control module failed, and needs to replace the whole powersteering system which cost more that 45000 INR.
      Car has just crossed 45000 Kms only, and 3.5 years. So warranty is not there. But still in just 45000 Kms the control system got failure is not an acceptable one. I think no other car models has this issue. Really getting in hell for opting chevrolet model.

        My chevrolet aveo lt ac is not working for the past 10 days (Not cooling) and i had called the shiva motors workshop in noida for the same. According to them, they had a heavy workload and they could not take the car for the next few days. I could not drive without ac and it has been 4 days since i complained about it. Even today when i called up, they asked me to wait till saturday, which is 5 days from now. If this is the level of service given to the customer, i am not sure how and why should people buy chevrolet cars for which service stations are scarce and do not have service capability to scale up. I have run out of options and not sure who can help me here. The quality of service is also not up to the mark. Request someone to take this up very seriously.

          I have a Beat Diesel LT, two months back I encountered white smoke from the exhaust at regular intervals while driving. To this I contacted my nearest service centre Shaila Autotech. They figured out some engine problem with the vehicle and asked me to keep the vehicle with them. I was told that the cylinder head, pistons, turbo etc. are going to be replaced and the car will be delivered in a week's time. My car has clocked 60000+ kms on Odo and was always carried out with timely servicing.

          The question here is that are Chevrolet Engines so weak that they will need so much replacement of parts in engine at just 60000+ kms. More to this its been more than a month that I have not received the car. I am fed up of calling the service centre just to hear them say they will deliver it tomorrow. But of no use. Can anyone from Chevrolet take this initiative to get my vehicle back to me in a proper working condition as soon as possible. How can you say through your ads that YOU CARE, where you can see they are careless. It's like a trap here.

            I have got front shockers replaced last month (April 2016) in aravali auto workshop, gurgaon which was done extremely poorly for which i paid almost rs.10000. The mount was not changed while replacing shockers and hence there was a lot of noise from the front wheels.
            On 23rd may i again gave them the car to get the mount replaced, on which they replaced it along with another space part which is attached to the shocker and suspension. I paid rs.8000 but the noise still remains and they are refusing to accept it. The service adviser has not taken triad drive before or after the work, hence he will not understand the problem.

              In the month of 2016, an issue of rpm fluctuation started for which I got changed throttle body from aarav Chevrolet, moti nagar Delhi as per their advice. But the problem again started within a week. Since then problem is as it is. I have visited 4-5 times but in vain.. Even they kept my car for 12 days and 8 days at their Workshop and returned the car without resolving the problem. On making complaint to CHEVROLET INDIA NO RESPONSE/ ACTION ON THEIR PART.. This World renowned company is making fool of Indian Customer...I will recommend to Indian Customer at least to boycott this company products which is not even consumer friendly. There is no responsible senior officer to listen the problem of customer to resolve the problem. Company even don't have control on their dealers.

We have given to chevrolet service station, but no changes about it. Breaking is very less, no sharp breaking and clutch is very hard.                   This refers to the mentioned subject myself abhishek sharma;resident of indore-vijaynagar-sch no-54, gg8, shanti appt-103;i was a proud customer of a stunning & sleek silver sb in colour beat lt tcdi-"what a machine"" i was fully satisfied with services of m/s supercars indore and itself cheverlote brand, which i get lost today around 7:am from the front of my above mentioned apartment.

                  Being an auto mobile professional i am also into customer service for last 12 years in auto mobiles had an exposure with leading brands of car industry tatas, mahindr's and ashokleyland lcv. I am currently associated with m/s escorts tractors as an sr. Area service manager and handling indore terriotory. I always have an extensive touring plan to get into technical issues and most of the time i travelled with my ""beloved darling car"".

                  I am enclosing the registered police complaint copy and some screen shots of your recommendations which i always strictly followed;i have total run my car 36 k kms in 16 months with hassle free operations.

                  Suddenly today morning is the darkest ever day of my life as i lost my most lovingly car which i parked at same place in yesterday night caused failure of cars immobilizing system. I lost my hard earned money because of a silly failure of immobilizing system.

                  As the ppt of owner manual guide is enclosed for your ready reference where you quote ""lock the vehicle than take the key with you""

                  I strictly followed both are the keys still is in shelve. Global leaders manufactured such a malfunctioned immbolblizing system? What is the security assurance. I coudlnt reply my 2.5 years sons throwing question when he asked ""when his kaka will come"".

                  Sir as car is in under warranty and the theft is caused the consequences of the failure of car's security system, does gm manufactured such a poor and malfunctioned immobilizing car security system which can open any roadside rogue or theft, than it is matter of concern;as its has been brached all the saftey instructions and trust on saftey and security systems provided into the car.

                  Sir i am a lower middle class personal and couldnt bear the losses imposing on my shoulder due to sudden theft of my car caused failure of your cars security system.

                  Yours being humbly requested to consider the concern under warranty as car is enttled for warranty as just covered the ownership of 16 months and 36 k kms coverage till yesterday nigh you can also have check from m/s super cars service history details that i had just serviced with repeat braking concern and revisit the workshop on 21st and given a trial to service advisor assured me its a wheel balancing issue.

                  You can also investigate the pattern of operation of car as i get availed no claim bonus in my last insurance policy means i even get touched my car henceforth assured and double assured for any adulterated or mi-soperation in it.

                  Sir being a car service industry personal its being concluded that its a chronic concern as i also come to know the number of theft cases get also increased at your channel partner m/s super car also indicates the ease to cracked your security system/imobblizing system provided by you as manufacturer.

                  I am into deep losses due to it and couldnt manage for further 3 months to get settled down the losses from insurance as its a total responsibility of chevrolet being a manufacture.

                  Humbly requested to consider my request and compensate the losses happened due to immobilizer system failure under warranty i lost my 6 laces asset which i couldn't bear as well as do not let it.

                  Awaited for your responsible intervention on my raised outstanding chronic matter. Looking forward for your support.

                    My cheverlot beat diesel which i bought 3.5 years ago and have drive for 42000 kilometers, its diesel high pressure pump got malfunction. This happens when i am driving on the way to my destination. I was shocked to hear that this got damaged just after 42000 kms. When enquired event he showroom people (Geeyem motors) informed same cases are reported for some other 3-4 cars of same model. I was informed replacing the same causes around 25000 inr and this will not be having any warranty for the new one. This is really crap.

                    I personally suggest no one should opt this vehicle, as i had many many bad experience using this vehicle. Bad servicing, spare parts are costly and of low quality.
                    Chevrolet India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                    The worst thing in mandi himachal pradesh is dealer is selling the cars but no workshop not giving any service...all cheverlot buyers are very disappointed with dealer and company also very very poor service...shameful ...[protected]...

                      Repeated service Issue of Black Smoke, internal sound inside the car, not able to ratify after spending lot of amount on service. Every month more than 20 days I am keeping my car in service center for service issue. Today they promised to deliver the car, on the way to my house there is a breakdown of the car, pls let me know I can travel in my car in safe mode. can you give assurance of the same.

                      below mentioned my previous complaint with details.

                      I am a proud owner of Chevrolet BEAT bearing registration number AP31CC8371. The car was purchased from your authorized dealer M/s Orange @ Visakhapatnam in December 2012.

                      The car has been excellent and we as a family really enjoying the ownership of the car only for ONE DAY

                      In day 2 my Car suddenly stopped in middle of the Road NH-5 around 4 pm, with a distance of 50 km away from City, along with me I am Travelling with my National Head, as there is no service available from there, your service dept came from Vizag and picked up my Car with pick up Crane and taken one day to Identify the mistake that internal wiring wrongly connected. sentimentally my family members are feeling bad about the incident. my bad luck till now in my car I have never went a comfortable journey with my family. I use to feel I am driving a train or Bus by the sounds coming from my car. after so many services there is no Improvement.
                      However, the three year service pact, the service of your dealer is not at all satisfactory. Somehow, the car is giving trouble. The service extended to the subject vehicle at the most can be termed as less than mediocre.

                      recently 10 days back I had given my car for servicing at your authorized dealer m/s Orange at Visakhapatnam. At the time of servicing, I had told them very clearly that there were problems which are mentioned below.

                      1. AC not working,

                      2. Shaking/Wobbling of the car,

                      3. Turbo issue

                      4 no pick up in 2nd and 3 rd gare

                      5 Mileage is completely drooped.

                      I don't understand your service people taken more than 10 days to ratify above problems, till now it was not placed. from past 10 days I am suffering badly without transportation. I am marketing person you can understand how frequently I use to travel, every day I have to pick up and drop my son from school. you can understand my trouble I am facing from past 10 days.

                      Every day your people are postponing to Tomorrow to deliver my car.
                      I am writing this mail as I feel I am shorthchanged. Now that my car is 3 years old that too a low value product, but for me it’s a life time buy and more that anything else it’s a family companion ... probably you people are more interested in acquiring new customers rather than servicing existing customers.
                      Looking forward to a call back and organizing for proper servicing of my car. This time the car should hopefully not have any problem.
                      I am writing this as a last hope given that GM & Chevy are known for customer service.

                        Hello,

                        I am writing with utmost disappointment on the roadside assistance chevrolet provided to me on thursday (28-apr-2016). I want to inform you about a serious incident and for this the wastage of my precious time after my working hours, which has happened to me by your organisation.

                        On 28th of april 0030 hrs my car (Chevrolet tavera) broke down in a place called periyampetti in the middle of nh7 highway on my way to bangalore. I tried my best to figure out the problem and had no other option but to look for an emergency number. Apart from the fact that this so called "expresssway" didn't have any emergency call number, i was relaxed as i knew i could rely upon chevrolet's "24x7" roadside assistance or its "customer service". When i called up chevrolet roadside assistance not only did they take my case seriously but also transferred me to the customer service. The customer service was good enough to provide me with a technicians number (Mr.Manohar) who resided in tirunelveli.

                        I was in shock when i called up the technician(Mr. Manohar) to find out that he wanted to sleep rather than help me in this desperate situation. He could have atleast tried to help me, but all he kept saying was "i want to sleep, will come in the morning". Despite of me pleading him for 10 time he kept on saying the same thing. Anyways help arrived for me in the morning after everyone had their breakfast and a good night sleep. Thanks to your valuable "customer service" and wasting of my precious time.

                        I bought this car from chevy because of its known customer service. We travel in your cars with the trust that you will help us anywhere. Being in this situation i have changed my opinion. Such a worldwide valuable organization with such service.

                        I would like to bring 3 things for your kind suggestion, may be it is silly for you,

                        1. Please don't make any other customers to face like this kind of above incident.

                        2. Try to avoid making customers to wait at service stations more that hours for just providing you with the problem.

                        3. Try to give proper training to your call center department for proper follow-ups and feeding of compliant numbers to avoid to repeat stories like this again and again.

                          Hi,

                          This is regarding my car Chevrolet beat diesel with registration number DL13CB0619 in the name of Mr.Subhash Jayant which is in warranty. I am facing a problem of start in my car for the past 6 months and sent the car to your service center namely Shiva Motors Ghaziabad several times. However, your service provider was unable to diagnose the problem and changed number of things like Self Starter, battery etc. which was charged by me but the problem is not solved and the situation is same as it was 6 month ago. I had to leave my car in the workshop many times due to this problem and the car is still in the workshop at present which is causing me a problem in travelling to office. The service provider is not able to diagnose the real problem even now. I had also complained at your customer care center however could not get any solution.

                            Its been November 2015 I gave my car which was in warranty period for servicing in Kun service center Hyderabad, there was a problem in car
                            front suspension So to correct it they suppose to replace the shocks and some other parts. As stock were not there they raised the indent
                            And promised me that they will intimate once they receives the stock ..

                            Surprisingly there was no call for more than one month then I started trying to contact them and there was no response
                            Then finally I came to know that service center was closed, I was shocked the way company is operating its a big multi national company
                            Which has closed their service center and no intimation to their regular customers ..

                            Story is not over, my issue is still not resolved then started searching for a service center in Hyderbad and found
                            Orange which is 15 to to 20 kms away from my place, I contacted them nothing less than 7 to 8 times over phone and physically
                            Visited once but all my trails gone in vein as there was very poor response from the team and no concrete solution
                            To my issue ..

                            Indent raised by KUN was in my warranty period and now warranty is expired but replacement not done yet, in the process I’m driving car
                            With the same problem from last 5 months and further any issue raise out of the existing problem clearly company is liable, people at service
                            centers doesn’t own customers And provide solution even after contacted so many times over phone and physical visit and response is so pooooor..

                                I own a chevrolet cruze car . It had a major problem after 3 years o[censored]sage- after covering about 24, 000 km. The clutch and the flywheel were replaced by thier dealer at an exorbitant price since the guarantee period was just over. Now once again the car is with their dealer after covering about 10, 000 km more(Geeyem chevrolet, 11/336, nh-47 bypass, nettor, cochin 682040, kerala) and they are asking for change of clutch and flywheel.The complete history of my car is available with the dealer.

                                I am really disappointed and frustrated with chvrolet car. I have been using different brands of cars in the last 30 years and even at present own another honda car. I never had any such issues with any if these cars. This is the first time i am facing such a haunting experience. I believe that there is a serious manufacturing defect with your car or with the earlier replaced clutch.

                                Though i made complaint to the company there is no response.I am really surprised how they could be so insensitive to customer complaints. Regret to say that, even after the lapse of about 2 weeks they have not bothered to reply to my complaints nor did they try and contact me over telephone.

                                I need a resolution to my grievance urgently.

                                  I have purchased Chevrolet Sail sedan LS model petrol version on 31 july 2015 and from the day one i am not happy.my car number is RJ14CY 3924 bought from Triumph Motors jaipur
                                  i just bought this car as i liked the model.
                                  here is the chronological list of events and problems we have faced.
                                  When we arrived the showroom, my car was ready but not so clean, dust in most of the corners as if this particular piece was kept from long time.
                                  then we found a dent on the driver side gate.
                                  can you expect a new car with a dent??
                                  We ignored these as reacting on this might delay our car delivery.
                                  as soon as we started from the showroom and put on the AC it has some weird smell which was identified by my partner.
                                  i actually dont want to listen anything about my new car so i just ignored it thinking that smell might be because car was kept from long time.
                                  as the dealer delivered my RC so late anyway.. till now everything was bearable.
                                  we thought to give it some time.
                                  Few Drawbacks in the car itself:
                                  1: Such a Big and expensive car and do not give 2 remote keys.
                                  2: if you want to unlock the gate, driver needs to turn back and pull out the lock at the window, as it used to happen in maruti 800.
                                  Anyway the issues in car manufacturing.
                                  Now as i started running my car i found following problems:
                                  1: the average of the car is coming 7-8 kms per litre only
                                  2: the AC give Very Bad smell and this smell lasts even after you switch off the AC.
                                  3: The car makes sound like an old diesel car while running.


                                  Then after some time this happened to my car:

                                  1: The only remote car is broken.
                                  2: the mirror in the sun shed above non driving seat cracked on its own.
                                  3: AC problem is still there
                                  Sound problem is still there

                                  Yes average has increased a bit but still not more than 11kms/ltr
                                  so this is my whole story...i hope some day i will get solution of these problems.

                                    It is a matter of great regret that my complaint to the chevrolet company and its dealers and respective sales representative in kolkata is pending since 2014 till date. The matter still remains unsolved even after my request letter dated 22/09/2014 to the managing director and chairman of the company as well as the dealer and subsequent requests to the distributor representative. A telephonic conversation and staff visit to my office proved futile after the letter was submitted but they could not provide any positive resolution to my problem.

                                    This letter was send by speed post and my e-mail dated 05/01/2015 and a notice of advocate was sent dated 11/11/2014.

                                    This appears from the correspondence that the chevrolet company, dealer and sales representative are misleading the customers by false commitments. I am hereby enclosing the copy of latest letter given to the dealer and the company.

                                    You are hereby requested to please settle my case that is amount paid by me + rs. 5, 00, 000 as compensation + rs. 5, 000 as miscellaneous expenses incurred by me with interest of 18% from the date of purchase.

                                    Also, extra fittings promised by the company representative to give me was also not provided timely. Owing to this, my car was damaged subsequently inside and outside.

                                    I have been a regular customer with your company. Recently, i had exchanged my old chevrolet spark with a new sail ls abs that was booked on[protected]. Your sales consultant mr. Prosenjit sarkar committed to deliver the car within fifteen days of booking but he failed to deliver the car within the stipulated time.
                                    The car was delivered on[protected] vide gate pass number 6596 dated[protected] along with your invoice number r00146 (For new car) dated[protected] of rs. 543392.00 and affidavit for car sale. The car was booked as per your on road price as stated under,
                                    On road price 6, 78, 179.00
                                    Less exchange price 30, 000.00
                                    Less royalty 20, 000.00
                                    Less discount 15, 000.00
                                    Net price 6, 13, 179.00
                                    Less sale price of spark 90, 000.00
                                    5, 23, 179.00

                                    I had given advance of rs.11, 000.00 by cheque on[protected] by cheque number 013067 of central bank of india, ns road branch, kolkata – 700001 plus bank finance charges of rs.1550.00 plus number plate of h.S.R.P charges rs.750.00 and rs. 5 lac was financed by hdfc bank vide los no. 28982427 and disbursed for loan amount.
                                    He had also promised that he will supply me the following extra fittings in car as follows:
                                    1. Extra seat covers
                                    2. Foot mat
                                    3. Rear and back tyre flap
                                    4. Front fog lamp
                                    5. Manual key handover without auto-locking.

                                    But he delivered the car without all the above fittings which he had committed.
                                    I would also like to inform you that he had also taken my license for renewal and for that he had collected rs. 2500 + 2200. But till date i have not received the license. Further, he did not even register the car and i had to go personally and do the same. Please also note that the price offered on road which includes the insurance premium plus registration charges plus road tax. The insurance premium of my earlier car was 50% bonus benefit which i did not receive and i had to pay rs.16, 900 from my pocket. He had told me that this amount along with 50% insurance no claim bonus benefit will be credited to my account within a fortnight, but till date no amount has been credited into my account.
                                    Till date i have been slapped with several fines totaling rs. 2000 because of lack of number plate, rc book and smart card. I've also lost interest on loan financed by hdfc bank for 15 days.
                                    When i sent the car for first service they delivered the car with foot mat made of cardboard to avoid the damages.

                                    You are, therefore, requested to please look into the matter and do the needful to save the reputation of chevrolet brand -
                                    1. Supply me everything that was promised (As noted above).
                                    2. Insurance amount (Rs. 16900 + 50% no claim bonus),
                                    3. Rc book,
                                    4. Smart card,
                                    5. Old car purchase bill,
                                    6. Reimbursement of fines totaling rs. 2000,
                                    7. Benefit for loss of interest due to delivery delay,
                                    8. Compensation for unnecessary harassment.

                                    You are also requested to properly train your sales personnel so as to avoid unnecessary harassment to your customers.

                                    I hope to get a satisfactory reply within 7 days otherwise i have no alternative but to take appropriate action against you, and your sales consultant will be liable for the same.

                                        There is a small screw in ignition key which is being broken
                                        for the last 3 months I am complaining at service station to get a new screw for me and in turn I am being advised to search the screw with watch repairing shop and inspite of wandering for last 3 months in Bhubaneswar I am not able to get the same for which I had taken the help of rubber bands to tied it up please help in solving the issues
