I have serious issues regarding the service, workmanship and negligence / incompetency in evaluating the fault .
I think not only metro motor entire GM have adapted a lethargic approach in dealing with customers. This is a great step in building new customers and retaining old ones.
Respected sir, first of all I want to say please wake up !!!
Try and resolve customer complaints ...that too repeated ones, as no one has extra time in this world to make complaints, so if anyone is doing so that to repeatedly then there might be an issue.. Also try and resolve complaints by yourself not diverting them to service centre . Sir for your information these complaints are against service centre and you try to satisfy customers from them only.
" this is a classic example - you are asking the culprit to investigate the complaint against him and give the verdict and not evening askin the complainant"
Sir as per my mail and for your information again in would like to convey only one message that I want a team from GM India to come and investigate the issue and not the service centre guys . I don't want a reply from the service centre as they have lost the creditability .
Dear sir ... Please you are requested to send a team from GM to investigate the issue.
Again for your better understanding I would like to re iterate the facts :
In march 2015,
I took my car to metro service center regarding the issue of coolant level drop. They checked the vehicle and said that water pump assembly is to be replaced, shocker is to changed and best of all hoses are to replaced related to coolant as they said coolant is leaking from one of them and thus level drops. Estimated amount Rs.22000, to which is trusted and paid
In april 2015,
during free checkup is brought my car, as there was coolant level drop. To which metro service center guys said that your car was running and while in this condition coolant gets in the running line and level drops . To which I was not satisfied but they said its OK and refilled the same.
Approx. Around a month later I bought my car for ac repair, to my surprise they said your ac system is to changed (compressor, ac condenser, coil etc ). To which I mailed to you. But instead of investigating you gave a lame reply that to through metro service center .
Classic example that you attend a complaint against a person /group and asking that person /group to give the verdict .
Instead of giving any technical reason, they said you didn't got your ac checked earlier that is why it got damaged .
To which I again obliged and paid Rs. 32000 .
Again within a month my coolant level dropped .Ac started tripping while driving, my car started causing problem in the pick up, even if I pressed my accelerator to the fullest pick up suddenly dropped at times. Also a MIL ( malfunction indication lamp) of engine came .
After seeing these things I immediately submitted the car to metro service center on 31/6/15.
At first they said that ac is OK, pick up issue might due some carbon in the system and MIL of engine is due to malfunction of O2 sensor .
After hearing this i was again surprised that even after getting my car regularly serviced from service center every !month new issues arise. To which I again obliged and paid the amount .
And after changing the req. Items. I Was asked to pick the car after 17 days.
My brother went to pick the car, to his utter surprise following issue were found:
-center locking was not working
- ac knob was damaged.
- and MIL of engine was still there.
(Fyi car details:
Beat Ls 2010 model petrol
White color
DL 3CAE 4984
Odometer - 62000 approx)
Now service center guys are saying that there is some issue in engine and engine needs to be opened and cost will be around 1 lakh.
So sir I would like complaint strictly and clearly against metro motors service center. And due to their inefficiency in accessing the fault why should customer suffer mentally and monetarily again and again.
So sir ..I would like to state in loud and clear words... Please you are requested to send a team from GM to investigate the issue and give a technical answer to problem in the car with a proof for its causes. As in this case entire fault is of M/s metro service center, and you can't escape by saying the car is out of warranty so we can't do anything .
Also sir I would reiterate that regarding the new issue I want the same to resolved without any financial implication to me as nothing was done by me and all problems arised after submitting my vehicle to service center.
In addition to the trailing mail i would also like to mention following points that must be ensured while attending my vehicle which are:
ECU fault codes generated shall not be deleted without my consent . And all the ECU fault codes must be shown to me before rectification.
Also after rectification of fault, i strongly advise you that vehicle shall not be cranked or run on duty cycle which may cause the deletion of ECU fault codes (DTC)
I strongly recommend and advise to first check the fault codes and then subsequently GM and only GM team (not service centre ) can undertake rectification.
All the things which the service centre have changed so far are highly unlikely to occur together within a period of 3 months.
I want to know the root cause of the fault in detail and the responsibility for negligence / incompetency.
Sir for your special attention and information, if the same is not resolved as desired and as per my request mentioned above I will file case against GM India and metro service centre in Police and consumer court .
Chevrolet India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
