Hi, I am getting calls from some unknown numbers stating that they are from Chevrolet Promotion Team. They said me that I have won Rs. 2 corers and 50 lakhs from Chevrolet and for that i have to submit 25, 000 INR to them. In addition to this, I have even received call from international number (probability its UK number) stating to submit the amount so that they can send their representative to my place along with money. Certainly i was sure that this is fraud call and I have collected all possible information from them along with the bank account number in which they wanted me to submit 25, 000.     With great difficulty and harassment, I would like to explain my problems with General Motor dealers for warranty service of my car Chevrolet Beat LT Diesel. My car details : Registration no.- WB06H6505 VIN no.- MA6BFBGNBBT065487 Engine No.- 10AB5Z[protected] Issue : My car has a central locking system inbuilt in it. The car was purchased on 4th November, 2011 from GM's the then dealer Devansh Auto Sales Pvt. Ltd of Kolkata. Around 7 months before, I have reported a problem o[censored]nlocking of left side rear door. As one of my servicing is due, I have given my car to one of GM dealer'Priti Motor Udyog Pvt. Ltd' and told them the problem. After paid servicing, they told me that they didn't have the 'actuator' then and they will change it once the material available. In last 5 months, I have called them more than twice to enquire about the availabilty. They repeatedly told me the same thing. After getting frustrated, I have contacted one of other GM dealer 'Longia Motors Pvt Ltd' on 31st of October, 2014. First they have told me to come next day to get it replaced. When I again went to them to get it replaced, they informed me that your warranty has expired. They informed that according to GM's global( I dont know the exact site name), your car had been purchased on 04/08/2011. This was really a horrible shock to me. I have all the documents (Blue book, smart card etc) which clearly mention the date 04/11/2011(Indian date format). Then I really dont know how come that absurd date 04/08/2011 comes from. I am expecting a positive result from your side after getting harassed by GM dealers. Regards, Manojit Sarder

          Dear Sir/Madam, I own Chevrolet Aveo LS 1.4 car (OR 19 H 5432) since November 2009. The vehicle was purchased from Super Sales, NH 5, Cuttack, ODISHA. I had to manage to bear the followings as on date. There was delay in delivering the vehicle against verbal promised date of delivery. The sales personnel were insisting to go for registration of vehicle by their agent; the cost implication is high on customer. They are prompt on asking for the feedback after service, but during service they show less interest in acknowledging the problems. The vehicle bottom gets hit on almost all the humps on NH-55. The ground clearance as measured by one of Mechanic at Venus Automobiles was not as per manual i.e. 180 MM. There is a difference of about 7 to 10mm on both side ground clearances. But no action could be carried out saying (AGM, customer care) that the same should have been checked at the time of purchase. Recently I had to replace my compressor for Air conditioner as there was no cooling at all, though the vehicle is about 5 years and the distance covered is about 32000 KMS only. It is recently learnt that the vehicle is no longer in production, so there would be difficulty in availing the spare parts in future. In such state of affairs I would request your kind and good office to look into the matter for improvement to KILL THE PROBLEM (3 K).               RESPECTED SIR, IT IS VERY DISAPOINTING TO SEE THAT MY CAR WB 06H 5661 IS IN THE WORK SHOP FROM JULY TILL NOW. WE THOUGHT THAT CHERVROLET IS SUCH A BIG COMPANY SO IT WILL GET THEN WORK DONE FAST SO WE PREFERRED IT . BUT DUE TO VERY POOR SERVICE WE HAVE NOT GOT THE CAR TILL DATE.                 Sir, I have purchased new Sail UVA in 01/14 from Kumarhatti Distt. Solan HP.After some time, I found water under driver's seat foot mat. I told to service centre Jagadhari HR at the time of its Ist service on 7500 km & same complaint on 2nd service on 15000 km.                     Dear Sir/ Madam, This is to inform you that my tavera commercial car sent for service around 40000 km in ARAS service station, nagari, Madurai on 15th October 2014. That was normal oil service; they committed to deliver my vehicle after service on the same day. But after completion they told TURBO complaint was there That TURBO has to be serviced in some vendor place. And also they told that it will take minimum 4 days for delivery. As I had commercial vehicle I am facing loss in my travel business since all my regular customers get affected due to this service. Only 7 month passed after purchased my Tavera I am facing this much complaint. Then how I can survive in future. Kindly take necessary new spares replacement. Don’t do service since If anything may happen again in future if we made service. My Vehicle Num: TN 59 BC 6629. Tavera – white color. I am really suffered a lot. Kindly complete the work and give delivery by tomorrow 18th oct 2014 maximum. Morning I have spoken with customer care but till now there is no feedback received from their end.

                        I, T.B. PUSHPAVALLY owner of CHEVORLET BEAT DIESEL with Regn. No. KL7 BS 6412 had paid the amount for extending warranty for 2 years on 30th JULY 2014. The customer executive who having the mob no. [protected], had told me that the receipt and the warranty book will be received to me in courier within 2 weeks. But till today, it has not been received to me. Today i called the same customer executive and asked about the same. He told me rubbish excuses like he dont had my address, that is why he didnt sent. If he dont had my addres why did he didnt contact me within these 2 months. When i asked this to him, he made fun of me. How irresponsible is your executives.Whatever, as soon as possible take immediate action on my complaint.

                        I am Bijender Singh the owner of Beat HR14 J 3889 (Black) bought on 13 September 2012 from Faridabad Haryana. All services till now (74000km) done by authorized service station of Chevrolet. it has been noticed by me that after last service 67500km there is some problem in engine oil its less than the limit and I had complaint to Bhanu Motors Service center Gurgaon Sec.37 and I had sent my car on 25th Feb 2015 till today morning there is no any update or feedback from their side only myself calling them again and again for update before two days back they told me that they have check the compressor of engine and its more than specification and yesterday they told me that they checked two time and there is no any problem in car engine and compressor is found OK. today morning when I asked for delivery of my car then they replied that there is some problem in engine and you have to pay for it, we cannot do under warranty and they give me reason that at about 45000km Aravali service center sec.14 Gurgaon had done some work one year back and said that you have to talk with the Aravali service center Gurgaon Sec.14 and I spoke to them also but could not get any positive response and that time also the compressor problem was there and they had mention at bill and they said
                        that you have to talk with the Aravali service center Gurgaon and I spoke to them also but could not get any positive response but I have remember that they only suggested to change one part under body or a safety plate I have always follow the instructions given by service station/adviser and never refused any recommendation work by them.also I remeber that after 45000km service after a week some problem related to Engine accure and I again taken my car to the Aravali for engine problem that time also they done some work in engine with (0 billing). and the light in meter for engine problem was blinking when I was receiving my car when I asked for light they replied that its not a problem we dont have computer/laptop to reset it on your next visit we will solve it.
                        that time was not happy with the work or services done by Aravali thats why I have changed the service center.
                        Now I am happy that Chevrolet authorized service center reached till my car engine problem after more than a week and without updating the costumer only customer taking initiative/worried about the problem no body suggested since last one year from 45000km service that there is some problem when all services/work of my car have been done only at authorized service centers I am writing this after lot of harassing by Bhanu and Aravali Motors Service center.


                        Dear Concern pls. understands my situation and checks all my car track records. I just want to request Chevrolet that if there is any work required it should be comes under warranty.

                          One of the worst customer service by Sumedha Vehicles &amp; worst product by Chevrolet - Sail. Engine getting Seized, oil sump coolant are having holes. Dealership is not co-operating. Car is still under warranty &amp; dealership is cheating people during servicing by charging for parts &amp; oil change without doing it. I request GM to intervene into this matter else I have to file a fraud &amp; unsatisfactory product case through consumer forum against the dealership &amp; company.

                            Dear sir, We, a Telugu National News Paper promoters have purchased Cruze diesel model in 2000 and facing repeated mechanical failures till date. Though we have completed 25, 000Km clutch plates problem aroused, we have approached your Rajahmundry workshop for rectification, after some time fly wheel ring & string failure aroused, again we approached your Rajahmundry Andhra Pradesh, workshop for rectification. The same problems are arising repeated times but no permanent solution. Now, a days AC also got repaired and not working properly. With this experiences we are scared to use this car for long drive in need. We strongly regret for buying this car by trust on your company reputation & workmanship. Being a consumer we are unhappy and dissatisfaction we wish to request you for rectification of the same from your end on or before 15days, we have no other option except approaching consumer court for justice.                               I am the owner of Beat-LS car. I purchased it ARAS Motors Madurai.The service centre is at a faraway place from the heart of the city.That is some 20 Kms away.On many occasions I experienced the excuse from the service providers that the spare parts not in stock.For my car which bear the Reg.No.TN 59 AU0589 there was a little damage at rear bumper.When I took the car for repair the mechanics as well as the Hr Manager one Mr. Kannan said that I would be informed of the availability of the spare and the I could come and got the damage repaired.No calls pertaining to the availability of the spare was made to me.When I went there for availing a free service to service centre I asked the HR Manager Mr. Kannan to get the rear bumper damage corrected by fitting the required spare. He assured me that it would be done on more than one time. Finally the repair was not made at all. Fed up that bitter experience I returned back my vehicle in unrepaired condition.The ARAS people of Madurai in general and the HR Manager Mr. Kannan in particular are past masters in the art.of paying Lip service rather than doing real service.                                 My name is Sunita and I am from Dist. Solan of Himachal Pradesh. I purchased Aveo in March 2010. One day while driving its Engine fall down and fortunately no one got injured. We repaired the car. Second incidence happened in January 2014 with the burst of left front wheel and my brother got minor injury. The incidences are not stopping here. I have done regular service at 65000 km and the work manager of the dealer replaced some parts and billed for around Rs 25000. But within one month of the regular service while driving the car the front wheels moved in opposite direction and car got damaged from the front and fortunately no one got injured. This is sheer neglience in the service and it seems that dealer sold to me a defective car. After happning all this three times the approach of the dealer is very casual and not bothering the life of customers. I was in planning to purchase Cruz car from that particular dealer but now neither I nor I will suggest to my relative and friends to purchase any Chevrolet car. After sales service is so poor and they do not the value of human life. It was not a wise decision to purchase a Chevrolet car. Dealer Address : Rajvir Motors.                                   My younger brother Parikshit Nath was looking out for a diesel car within a price range of 5.30 to 6.50 lakhs. Eventually we searched out for couple of companies like Maruti, Tata and Chevrolet. Within all the three companies we found a very good deal at GLOBUS MOTOCORP PVT. LTD, Main GT Road, Dilshad Garden, Delhi.-95. They were offering a particular model of Sail UVA diesel which was standing at their showroom display at very attractive offers and they gave the reason that this car belongs to their old stock for the current year so to sell out the order new stock they are ready to provide a handsome discount at all sectors including the exchange of my brother's old car which was a Maruti Alto. Now every common/ middle class person looks out to save some money along with fulfilling his/ her needs. So we also did the same and we went on to purchase the car. Until the time we took out the car from the showroom after completion of our paper work for loan approval, all the sales person in the showroom were so coordial and sticking a smiley to their face. But it has been just nearby one month today & my car has done 1111 kilometers only the car has shown a major trouble. We were on highway from Hardwar to Delhi and suddenly a symbol adjacent to the engine oil symbol on the meter started blinking and more suddenly the turbo of the car failed and the car started taking pick up slower than a bullock cart. Just imagine the situation fellows that all the vehicles in that 4x4 highway are brushing by you at a speed of 100-130 kmts/ hr and suddenly you start lingering at 65 kmts/ hr and even more hard you find it to get your car off the road to park it aside. Me any my family would have met a fatal accident for it. When we came back to delhi on the same day we took it to the showroom and asked that is this any kind of major trouble, that time all the showroom sales persons were so busy to sell their products (in-fact cheat other innocent people) that I was merely a trouble some customer for them at that time. They were continuously trying to get rid of me as they thought my compliant will hamper their further sales. After making me wait for one hour they finally sent one driver to get the vehicle to the service center. NOW The service center also belongs to the same dealer GLOBUS MOTOCORP, The service engineer first returned the car to us and said the problem has been rectified. But as we insisted for a further test drive as we were suspicious about CHEVROLET'S COMMITMENTS, to our surprise we found that after a test drive of only 2 kilometers that problem again aroused and this time in middle of a busy city road full of vehicles and pedestrians. Any how we managed to bring the car back to the service station. Again after a thorough check up the engineer finally explained that there is a problem at the ELECTRONIC COMPONENT OF THE CAR. "Un officially he also exclaimed that these cars of CHEVROLET are coming with these kind of manufacturing defects and they are in receipt of many such compliants on this particular model. After a day long schedule and avoiding many urgent works we finally came to the core of the problem. Guys, the electronic component of a car is that part which controls all the electronic functions starting from lights to everything. NOW THINK OF IT THAT A ONE MONTH OLD AND 1111 KILOMETERS DONE CHEVROLET SAIL UVA CAR IS COMING OUT WITH SUCH MAJOR DEFECTS AND STILL CHEVROLET IS SELLING THESE FAULTY VEHICLES TO THE INNOCENT CUSTOMERS TO ARE ACTUALLY TRUSTING THEM WITH THEIR FAITH, MONEY, TIME AND ALSO LIFE AS THESE CARS CAN LEAVE YOU OUT OF CONTROL IN THE MIDDLE OF A HIGHWAY. These cars have inbuilt manufacturing defect and the same was not conveyed to the customer/ complianant and now should the customer deal with a faulty car by paying a price of 5.35 lakhs (approx.)                                     Hi, I'm a Chevrolet Beat Diesel owner (KL-39-D-474) and totally disappointed with this product. I bought this from "Geeyem motors, Cochin, Kerala" 3 years back and from day one, it was showing different electrical & mechanical issues. Notified this to the service centre in each visit, but they were not all serious about it and doing temporary fixes. Eventough the service & customercare from dealership was totally worse, because of warranty regulations, all the scheduled services were done there only. The last service was done at same place on May 2014. After that I have used it for 2600 Km only and then engine seized. It happened just 5 days after the 3 year warranty period end date and the total KM covered by the car is only 16800. Car is currently at a Chevrolet service centre in Salem and they found leakage in coolant pipe, which resulted in engine overheating and seizure. They said major part replacement required in engine which costs approximately 2 Lakhs! I asked for Chevrolet assistance in this matter and they told me to contact 'Area sales manager'. I've shared all the previous issues with in last 3 years and service details. In the 1 week long back and forth mail communication with him, he was always trying to put the blame on me pointing out silly things. Finally last day, got mail from him saying that "the overheating is caused due to the leak from the coolant pipe which is occurred due to the rusting of the pipe which will never occur unless there is water contact". Also he rejected the request stating "the repair work cannot be cover under warranty cost since your vehicle’s warranty have expired on 29 Aug 2014". I really don't understand how they can simply get away from taking responsibility of engine problem, that happened in a short duration... All the services were done through authorised dealer, how will I know if they have used proper coolant or mixed pipe water? Also they are supposed to do proper inspection of parts and relevant replacements in service visit. I've again spoken with Chevrolet customercare over phone and all they are saying is to write to their mail id (gmi.[protected]@gm.com), Which I've already done several times. Now the burden of paying this huge repair cost is totally on me. I don't know what to do!!! Chevrolet in their advertisements, offers 3 Yrs/100000 KM warranty, 3 year 24x7 Roadside Assistance and 3 year Chevrolet Promise. I think this is just to attract the customer and put them in a trap. My car has covered only 16800 KMs in its 3 year life. With the issues faced so far, I really suspect the quality of manufacturing and service/Promises offered. Before buying Beat, I was using Maruti 800 for 10 Years, which never gave any serious trouble. Also their customercare was 100 times better than Chevrolet. I now regret on buying a car from Chevrolet, which not only created huge financial loss, but also spoiled my precious time and gave lot of tensions. Prajeesh [protected]

                                    Looking at the other complaints posted in this portal, related to Chevrolet vehicles (in particular Beat diesel), I can see that many of the customers have reported similar issues that I also faced - turbocharger problem, engine seize, electrical malfunctions etc. So it is quite clear that, there are serious manufacturing defects in their product range. Customers are loosing their hard earned money !!!
                                    Chevrolet should perform adequate quality checks before releasing the product from factory and also ensure better after-sales service with service centres equipped with technical staff.
                                    As expected, Chevrolet Customercare guys didn't respond to this complaint also... In the mean time, the dealer has sent an estimate for the repair, which is 152000/- and want me to approve it to start the repair work!

                                      i have bought new beat from german cars kannur in jan 2014. at the time of delivery they have clearly told that the frequency of oil change is 15000 km but last service in last month they told me that " company revised their policy we need to change oil in 7500km " it will be causing extra 4500 rs burden every 7500km ... also they have told to my fellow car user that he need to install an engine gaurd and 50% of money we need to pay is this the way of cheating... i need a solution

                                        To, The responsible authority. sir, i have purchased a cruze ltz ( reg.no up14ch 9133) on 19th august from shiva motors sahibabad ghaziabad. It broke down yesterday in greater noida and i had to call the road side assistance which picked my car and toed it to shiva motors ghaziabad. since it was late the workshop was closed so i went to see my car today. after reaching the showroom i realised there was no information among the staff as to what is wrong with my car or what can be done about it. For the information car has done just 715 kms and they are saying the clutch plate has broke down. before even inspecting the car the GM MR. ANIL BALIYAN has focused and pressed upon the factor that mistake is on my behalf and i might have driven the car on hand break or over used the clutch. with no prior information they are blaming it on me which struck me pretty bad since i have been driving for 14 years and also have a fiesta and a scorpio that i drive on the daily basis with no problem at all. I cannot understand for a fact that how a car for which i have paid 17 lakh rupees and is 11 days old with just 715 kms on the run with no dent marks can get in to such a bad shape so easily. i m dumbstruck and have no clue wtsoever to say and think about it. I do believe in the fate and will not lie in saying that i have lost all faith in this car of mine and will never be able to drive it with a confidence that i do drive my other cars with. i am no position to accept this car as mine and therefore request the company to do something about it. On the very day of delievery i called akaash the person who took care of my car transaction and told him that there is some problem with the ac and the 2nd gear of the car for which he calmly asked me to let the mechanic know about it when i come for my 1000 km check. the car was already 52 kms driven when it was given to me and on being asked they said it jus went for a test drive or so and since its a powerful vehicle you dont have to worry about anything. Now i am helpless sitting here and waiting for the service centre to play with me.i therefore request the chevrolet team to please take care of the problem and do let me know what my next step would be because i as a person dont want to be forced to go to the consumer forum for things that can be solved outside the court. for gods sake its a 11 day old car does they have any shame in blaming me for it. i would rather drive a maruti 800 then this piece of junk and if forced will definitely take harsh steps to make it right. its hard for a middle class man like me to pay 17 lakh for a car that comes as a dream for loads people. the car whose first instalment has not been paid yet and it is standing in a workshop. i am completely disappointed and if it persists i personally will take action to make sure that at least people around me will never use chevrolet products.
