Hi,

I had bought Chevrolet Beat LS model from SC Auto in July 2011 .. however, after two months now they are white patches coming above the front door windows and even some rust is showing there (seems paint problem) .. this seems to be some manufacturing defect or sub-standard quality norms followed at Chevrolet India ..

I have read through other complaint websites where many other consumers have faced similar problems .. please advise on how to take this complaint to the right authorities at GM India and take suitable action on them .. Had this been in US .. there would have strict action and a replacement of the product also ..

    This is a True Happening
    Cheverolet Cars (united states) is one of the most admired car companies.I have been a customer of Chevy in United States for sometime now and appreciate the good customer service However here in india had a very very bad experience which makes me think are the Company Overseas really are concerned whats happening around.Well here is something for the starters.
    Wife of An officer n a Galantry Awardee of 1971 war Late Wg.Cdr R.C Bedi,I Rita Bedi is fighting for justice.Hope someone might hear her.On 11th oct 2010 we took a Chevrolet Beat (LT) Red Colour Car from RSA Motors,68 Industrail area Panchkula.The cost of the car told to us was 378000/- and accordingly we had made a demand draft for the some and gave cash partially and went personally to Ambala depot to deposit hence take the delivery of the car.
    SAD FIRST EXPERIENCE
    Mr Ritesh an Exective of RSA Motors was there when we had everything done however this is the first bad experience we had.The company asked us to pay extra 5000 cash for metalic colour which was never told to us and and extra 15000 cash for assosries put by them without our knowledge.As we refused to do that we had no choice as the smart company people first had already presented with the bill and insurance.Being a house wife alone i agreed to pay the amount for which i was later in the evening given a recepit made on Word application and without any company seal.The car was delivered.Later in the evening when i contacted my friends all told me to check with the company for extra payment given.To my surprise when contacted Mr.Ritesh he came home and personally begged not to tell company about this as his job will be on stake n that he will provide will original recipts.He till Date never showed up.

    SAD SECOND EXPERIENCE
    Within 3 Months the car started giving trouble.While Driving home the car suddenly stoped and would not start again.On calling Cheverollet no one came forward for almost 2 Days.After almost breaking down in tears when finally contacted the break down service.they insisted to get the car towed and get it to the repair shop as they did not have any crane service.we had to do all by ourself n even paid for something company is at fault.all bills are still with me.The company Service advisor n Works manager Mr Shashi had no idea what happened with the car even after hours of inspection.Finally they had to make an international call to find out what has gone wrong.Now the complete car was opened as there was a Manufacturing Fault of some wire/s.Later to my surprise they asked me for charges of labour.Heights of cheating and manuplation is what Chevy RSA dealers are here.

    RECENT SAD ONGOING THIRD EXPERIENCE

    After the service of the car while driving the AXEL part Tie Rod of the wheel broke,which is RISK TO LIFE WHILE DRIVING. The car going even at 40kmph can turn or roll over killing all instantly or indulge in an accident risk of life to others.This is a part we are talking about cannot be broken by itself.It is an manufacturing fault of Cheverolet India.When contacted the head office they kept on transfering the call one department to another.It was 9.30 am in the morning and till 1 pm afternoon sameday no one could come directly from the company on the phone.Finally we had the same Works manager on Phone n says we are having a lunch break so no one is available.PLease contact the head office or customer care or you can get the car towed and get it to repair shop.That was the end of the road for us.After calling the owner/CEO of RSA MotORs finally two people showed up and after inspecting told us this was an manufacturing fault from the back n they are also in a fix as the company/cars are not worth buying.One of them satpal singh even said nothing will happen here and no one will listen.the works manager came just for 5 mins and went back saying 'we have to take it to the company open the car enitrely n see if it can be fixed or if we have the necessary part'.

    Its a shame and i have no words for the the company were the workers are against their own.Chevrolet is a good company in u.s and we have a many cars of the company in united states however in india this is what happening.i have paid for the car from own hard earned money working round the clock to protect and gaurd the very people who are today cheating us.Cheverolet RSA Dealers are the worst dealers and more worst people to deal with.
    Now i have decided if the company is not ready to return either our entire money invested or a brand new car i Rita bedi will not give up until something is done about it.If this can happen with me it WILL happen with you all.If Chevrolet thinks we can be played with they thought wrong and messed up with the wrong people.Even if today i have to move to the court i will as i have full faith in our legal system here in India.I have all the documents n conversations details of the company hence i would now approach the company one last time.

      I had purchased a Chevrolet Spark car from Geeyem motors,Kochi, through their Palakkad branch on 31st august 2010,and as per their offer,an assured free gift(gift not specified) was to be given to me along with the purchase of the car,but sad to say till date the same has not been delivered.It has been almost a year now and on enquiry at the above dealership,they first assured that they will deliver it and recently when contacted, they say that they are not in a position to deliver the same as their principals have not refunded them the cost of the same.I fail to understand as to why I should not receive the same on account of their internal squabbles.I feel cheated and insulted.Kindly take up the matter with Geeyem motors Kochi,kerala.

        My father purchased a Chevrolet Spark for me on 27th Sept 2009 from Metro Chevrolet, Sharanam motors pvt ltd, Bawa potteries, Aruna Asif Ali marg, Vasant kunj New delhi. As I am settled in chandigarh so i brought the car with me and since then the car has been giving me trouble on and off. It is the second time in less than 2 yrs that the car battery has discharged. The car has run more that 14,500 kms so far and is in use regularly so how can the service centre personell say that the battery problem is due to less usage???? My mother has been driving a santro for the last 10 yrs n during her vacations the car is not in use for almost 40 days but its battery has never discharged! My Husband drives a A- star n it has never given battery trouble???I dont understand how can a new petrol car hav battery problem. Last year in Oct the car battery got discharged, when i called up Dynamic Motors in Chandigarh they said that they would charge Rs500 to come n take a look at the vehicle after which they will decide if the battery needs to be changed n if it requires a change i would have to foot the bill since the battery has only 1 yr warranty! I consulted a local mechanic who told me that there was a problem with the connections because of which the battery got discharged spontaneously,he fixed the problem but to make sure i brought my car to dynamic motors chandigarh. After checking the vehicle they said that it was perfectly ok and assured me that i wont have any more battery problem. But in June this year i had same problem and on calling up the service centre i was told that the battery would need to be changed this time. I registered a complaint (request no 23134) with customer care service assistance but no action has been taken so far. . I think it was a BIG MISTAKE to purchase this vehicle.I havnt come across anyone whos driving a different company car with this kind of ridiculous problem! I want an explanation as to why a car which is not even 2 yrs old can have battery problem unless a defective battery was installed in the vehicle.I hope my complaint is taken seriously n soon sorted out

          I want to attract your kind attention towards FAKE and FRAUD commitment done by M/S CROSS ROAD KANPUR. (Customer Care CROSS ROAD - [protected])

          SUB : Complain of CPCOO of Beat LS of Neelam Singh

          CPCOO means 3 years FREE maintenance package

          Dear Sir,
          As I have forwarded a complain to Mr. Nishant Verma (Sales Manager,North Region,India) against M/S Cross Road Auto Pvt.Ltd. Kanpur on the subject mentioned as above. The Dealer replied that your complain is closed. The problems which are unsolved are as follows.

          1. I have not found any satisfactory reply regarding CPCOO offer as of the dealing paper.

          2. In such an attractive offer given in your advertisement published in Hindustan Times Kanpur dated Nov.9, 2010. I want to know that why any customer would not opted the CPCOO offer- No any reason. Only dealer is misguided to the customer.

          3. Six month later, the dealer said that you were not opted the CPCOO offer and not paid any amount for the CPCOO, what was the logic of dealing and pls go through company advertisement saying SABHI KUCHH CAR KI KEEMAT ME SAMIL-KYONKI BAKI KA SARA KHARCHA HAMARA.

          4. Why Miss Poornima (sales executive,kanpur) said that CPCOO booklet to be provided after one month at the time of first service which terminates to the second service.

          5. Dealer stated that he has given a cash discount of Rs.16016/- instead of CO’S offer of Rs.15000/-.I want to know that where is mentioned this discount in the RSO?.

          6. Your catalogue stated that the security system (central locking) is inbuilt in Beat LS, Which means this is not an extra offer given by the dealer.

          7. Dealer stated that the cost of CPCOO is Rs.15000/-. However on my telephonic discussion, you told me the cost of CPCOO is Rs.13000/-only. I want to know that what the actual cost of CPCOO is. Dealer’s report true or your statement true, I think any one.

          On the basis of above discussion it fact that the Dealer is misguided to me which is unfair and unreliable towards the customers of your company.


          I request you to kindly seriously investigate and observe the matter and provide
          me the necessary documents of CPCOO.

          Totally agree with your experince with CROSS ROAD Auto Pvt Ltd, KANPUR.This sales ofice is full of fake and fraud cases.I had also purchased "Spark LS (LPG)" since last two year.They convienced me for a GOLD coin(as per devali offer) but at the time of delivery, they totally refused to give me gold coin.

          Friends... my personel suggestion for everyboby "NOT TO PURCHASE ANY VEHICLE FROM these GIANT"

          i have also got a very bad exprience while i was going for chevorlet cars, there all statements are fake no free service is ever given. never purchase chevorlet cars

            My Self Manish Upadhyay i am your customer i bought a car from your company on 29 March 2009 which is Chevrolet Spark which is in Intense Black color, CH.No. :MA6MF481D9T022641, E.No. B10S1210818KC2 Reg.Dt. :29/05/2009. Since April the car is creating a problem the biggest problem in a engine missing .The car's brakes are sometimes hard to & sometimes car break do not work properly while i am driving .Wiper Kit does not throw out the water. Suspension is also a problem in the car. This is because many times the car was sent to the company's service center auto vikas, Peera Garhi. The car was kept in service center for 2 to 3 days but still nothing happened. company manager knows everything about it but there was still no reaction on. I have send to the car in service center time to time in period time of servicing but Unfortunately, your service has not performed well because of this I am disappointed. Now I'm Frustrated and that's the reason to sending you a mail. If no action you will take till coming date of 1, then I will be forced to take legally action against you

              I have purchased 'Chevrolet Beat' in January 2011. I have been facing recurring problems in my Car. Within 2 months of its purchase, the Fuel Pump had to be replaced by the Company which took almost 1.5 months to finally execute the change as the part was not available. It was also informed to me that some more customers were facing the same problem in new purchases.

              After that I started facing problems with my Power Windows and it has been thrice that my Card has gone for repair for the same problem. And after being repaired thrice, my Power Windows are still not functioning.

              In total my new Car has made 6 visits to the Chevrolet Service Station in last 6 months instead of only 2 requisite Service.

              Kindly take the necessary action, if possible as I'm really fed up with these kind of service from Chevrolet side.

              Chevrolet - Beat — Technical Problem - Unattended Always

              I bought car in March 2010 from RSA Motors, Panchkula. I have faced two problem from starting
              1. The water gets enter while raining. I went to RSA they fixup the doors agains and said they have checked, there is no water while testing. I did not see their afterward trial.
              After 1 month, again while raining I stuck inside the car as water get inside upto driver seat level. I again went there they did all the things under warranty but refitting of carpet can tell the poor workmanship. It does not look new now. but I did not observe water entrainment afterward. May be after some time...

              2. I am facing the problem with the power and electronic system which will definitely becomes the core reason of my accident in future
              I need to change the gear even the speed is more than the capacity o[censored]sing that gear. Also I find the same even worst experience while moving on hilly area (with little slope), even by reducing the gear, I am not able to pick up / mainitaining the same speed. Sometimes I have to reach to the first gear. Once AC is ON then it becomes worst conditions. I did not face these kind of problem even in 800CC engine of Maruti Car. I talked with service personal but they have a simple answer "sir it has electronic system to control so we can not do anything, it may itself get OK after 5000 km". I am also an automation engineer, I don't know why they always trying to make the customer fool. As an engineer I can say that no manufacturer use automation to make its car worst, yes it could be for overcome the worst conditions. Still I don't know why and how the service provider can sleep without really satisfying their consumer.
              Still I am waiting for a service person who honestly understand the problem and take initiative to resolve it as these kind of issues falling down the repo of GM kind of company.

                I have bought a spark LT 1.0 model on 3rd February 2011.My car has covered total distance of 7900km.Now since last one month i am getting a cranking sound while changing my gear and driving my vehicle.I have in touch with the dealer but the issue is not yet resolved.The poor service of such a branded organization is not accepted.

                Hi,

                I have been owning an General Motors Chevrolet UVA purchased 3 years back. After the first year when no product generally gives much of service problems I have been going through hell in getting a proper service from Chevrolet's distributor at Chennai - Ms Sundaram Motors. There are many instances where Sundaram Motors have demonstrated extremely poor knowledge and capacity to provide service to customers adding to their bureaucratic attitude under the cover of process.

                Recent and current experience is that my car battery is worn out and I have been asking them for replacement of battery for more than 2 weeks. I don't get a proper response and they are unable to even tell me what battery will fit for this car. It is my daily routine to call them if they have ordered for my battery but they reply without any responsibility that they will call back. I also understand that the battery for this car is Exide DIN 50 R with reverse polarity and no other manufacturer's battery will fit in. Moreover this battery as I was informed is an OE product and hence Exide is not allowed to trade this in open market and customers are forced to take it only from the car dealers. If General Motors does not intervene and find a solution to this and they would see their end soon atleast in Chennai that too for having a dealer like Sundaram Motors. I would be forced to escalate my dissatisfaction and find a solution through legal forum if Sundaram Motors or General Motors does not provide me a solution in the next 48 hours.
                I have given my car no.DL8C V0549 at GT Karnal Road Triumph Motors for CNG Fitment last month but when i got my car , seat covers and cushions have been torned , speaker tray has been damaged when i contact the staff they said we don't have new seat cover and tray , today i visited their outlet for some accessories default which i bought from company but they don;t provide any solution and wasting time continuously so i am very fed up from their service level. I am planning to buy Beat but now i drop my idea to continue anymore with Chevrolet.My Contact No.[protected]

That was feeling true by rbi logo & url. I started fillup form that is sending by rbi. When just clik money transfer option, i fillup my sbi account no. Then they asked cost of conversion code. Then i contected them for giving that code but they demanded 50, 000. 00 rs. For giving that code. Please sir please tell me that is fraud are not. If that is true please give me that code.

                    I want register the complaint in after sales service of Chevrolet Cruze.

                    I have bought the Chevrolet Cruze (MH 14 CC 6992) on dated 16th Sept 2010. Since then i am regretting my decision as i have encountered uncountable problems in Chevrolet Cruze.

                    1. From Day one A/c is not working. They did temporary rectification but still problem not solved.

                    2. Later they have found that condenser is faulty. they kept the car for three days and changed a new condenser.

                    3. After two months outside smell is coming in the cabin. they kept the car for three days and again the solution was temporary and not resolved.

                    4. On 9th June 2011 I have given my car for service with all the problems. already three days are gone and there is no commitment from service centre pashankar auto wheel pvt. ltd., Mumbai Banglore highway, Baner, Pune. Service executive sangram ([protected]) told that he has no clue when the problem will be resolved and when they can give the car. After that i complaint to Satish ([protected]) another employee of pashankar but still no response.

                    Chevrolet (General Motors India) service is very poor and there treatment of customers is exceptionally disastrous. there employee behavior is ruthless and unacceptable.

                    I have no option but to sell this car which is terrible product of General Motors India

                      I have purchase new Tavera car on 31.12.2010 at K.L.N Motors in Chennai, The 15000 Km services on 21..3.2011, On 29.5.2011 my Tavera car was breakdown in nearest to Pondicherry then Called to K.L..N Motors the services Manager asked to go to Aakash Auto Ltd service in pondicherry. Askash Motors Take over my car to their services center and then they told complaint about car.. The complaint was Rackram Complaint. Still they didn't tell any response about my car..The services manager also didn't give any response about my car services.. They told to me spare parts is not available in services center... Am doing travel business so the car running by monthly payment, Every day Rs 2500 is loss because of services center.. Its a huge loss to me.. I request you to look into the matter and deliver the vehicle to me immediately.

                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        I had purchased Beat in May-11 and registration number is HR 03M 5824. First 1000 Km check was done at Aravali Auto , Plot no. 66 IDC, Mehrauli Road, Gurgaon on 28-May-11. After service I notice that ignition symbol did not disappear after start. I immediately bring into their attention and they rectified it and told me that this is because of software problem. It seems that without proper check they deliver vehicle to customer.
                        Few day it work fine but on 6th day (5-Jun-2011) car did not start and I contacted to Aravali Auto and they told me that technician will come to your place and this service is chargeable. I was not having any option except to agree on this.
                        After continues calls their technician come and he checked my car for an hour and told me to drop vehicle to service center. He gave me crane operator number and told me that I have to bear the cost of Rs.1500 as crane fee. Again I was not having any option except to agree.
                        I paid Rs. 1500 to crane operator to drop my car to Aravali Auto and dropped car at Aravli Auto on 5-Jun-2011.
                        They promised me deliver car on next day (6-jun-2011). But when I contact them they told me that it seems its manufacture issue and it will take some more time and agreed to deliver on next day.
                        Now Each time I call them, they are giving me different excuse like “It seems manufacture problem”, “checking assembly line problem” , “Checking fuel pump ” ,”Checking wire connections”, “Checking software problem”.
                        It’s been more than three days and they are not able to resolve the issue. I am facing lot of inconvenience due to not having car.
                        I made more than 20 calls to get the status but each time I got the answer “We are working on your car and need more time”.
                        After three days they are not in condition to tell me when issue will be fixed.

                          The car was delivered by the firm at Roorkee from the Mahindra’s showroom. Since I was posted as Roorkee in Defence services and residing at Meerut I was assured by the rep of the firm that all the services of the car will be carried out by the firm at Meerut. But after purchase:
                          • I was compelled by the rep of the firm that the initial service is required at DPM Dehradun.
                          • I got the initial service done at DPM Dehradun but the anti-rusting of the car, charges of which was paid by me at the time of purchase of the car was not got completed at that time. I was asked to get it completed at Meerut. When I visited the “VARADJYOTI Sale Center of your company” I was told that the firm is not bound to do the anti-rusting. I was told that It can only be done at DPM Dehradun. The anti-rusting of the car is still incomplete.
                          • I was provided “mud flap” of the Car ‘Spark’ instead of ‘Beat’ and not replaced even after my several requests made by me.
                          • The ‘foot mat’ provided to me at the time of purchase of the car are of very poor quality.
                          Keeping in view of the above, may I request you to ask the above firm not to defame the name of your company and resolve the above shortcomings?

                          I have submit the three cheques No.'s are 76535/76536/76537 Axis Bank in favour of your Saharanpur dealer DPM Auto Sales, on dated 20//05/2011. I have chosen the Beat LSLPG model not booked. I have try to financing some banks but the bankers not finance to me. I have also try some bank to finance me the rest payment.Because there are three Cheques are for three customers include to me. The other two customers want the refund.We are the Achievers in Company Rs. 1, 25, 000/- each. The total sum Rs. 3, 75, 000/-. I have contact your dealer DPM Saharnpur/Dehdarun to refund the two customer payment, which was submitted by me to your dealer, but your Accountant Mr. Ajay Sharma (Accountant) asked to me that our Owner are abroad so, the payment will be relaesd after one week.                             On 25 May,I gave my Car for body work and first service at KLN Motors at Guindy,Chennai.Insurance has been approved and claimed on 29 May. The KLN motor service department committed that they will deliver the vehicle On 31 May .On 31st May they didnt deliver the car On 1 June I called the KLN motor service department but I had no proper response when they will deliver the car. Whenever I call them they are asking for the Car no and they are telling they will check the status and call back.But I didnt receive any call regarding the same or if we call them they are not picking the Call.

                              i bought spark car this year in 1st week of january since then i am facing problems with it, it has electrical problem and ac problem last month when i was coming back from punjab it stopped on the way without any warning i called agency and after waiting for more then hour their mechanic arrived and replaced fuel pump but still car was not turning on so we towed it to agency and it took them two days to sort out the problem it was major electrical fault at the same time ac was not working and they diagnosed damaged condenser for which i paid Rs 6000/-plus Rs 1600/-for gas though i claimed through insurence .To day when i turned on car ac was not working again took car to agency and it was blown fuse .Month before when i was in punjab i faced same problem it stopped in the middle of the road without any warning and towed car to agency paid Rs 500/- there for its repair again it was electrical fault
                              i am unable to understand why so many faults just with in 5 months and what they are manufacturing .when this compeny claims they won so many awards for quality are they are getting quality awards for manufacturing rubbish.
                              i request pl forward my complaint to this company as well as i want replacement car or my money back .

                                I WANT TO BRING YOU IN NOTICE THAT GENERAL MOTORS ARE SUPPLYING ALL REJECTED CAPTIVA MODEL TO INDIA.

                                I HAVE BOUGHT SECOND HAND CAR CAPTIVA LT MODEL[protected]KMS DONE FROM MY FRIEND. AFTER 3MONTHS OF DRIVING 2000KMS ONLY I HAD FACES SEVER BREAKDOWN IN CAR. ALL OF SUDDEN THIS CAR HAS STOPPED THE CAR IN CENTRE OF HIGHWAY WITHOUT ANY WARNING. I ASKED SUNDRAM MOTORS IN BANGALORE FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE. THERE SENT THEY ENGINEER TO CHECK BUT HE WAS UNABLE TO FIND THE FAULT. THE ENGINE WAS NOT STARTING ITSELF. THEN HE CALLED HIS SERVICE CENTRE FOR SUPPORT BUT NO ONE WAS ABLE TO SUPPORT HIM. THEN HE ASKED US TO TOW THE CAR TO SERVICE CENTRE FOR FURTHER DIAGONSE THE PROBLEM.

                                WE HAD TOWED FROM PRIVATE AGENCY TO SUNDRAM MOTORS ON 16TH MARCH 2011. THEY HAD TAKEN ALMOST 15DAYS TO REPLY ME THE PROBLEM. I FORCED TO GO FOR HIGHER UP BUT NO ONE ABLE TO ANSWER WHAT WAS THE VECHILE PROBLEM.

                                ON 30TH MARCH SUNDRAM MOTORS CALLED US AND ASKED US TO PAY ADVANCE 25000/- FOR ORDERING SOME PARTS WHICH ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN INDIA AND NEED TO IMPORT THESE PARTS WHICH WILL TAKE 2-3WEEKS. AND AT THIS TIME WE HAD ASKED WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM THEY SAID ENGINE GOT CEASED. WHAT HAD ASKED THEM TO GIVE US REPORT HOW CAN A 42000KMS DONE VECHILE CAN GET CEASED WITH REGULAR MAINTENANCE ON EVEY 5000KMS. BUT NOTHING ANSWER COME FROM THEM.

                                ON APRIL 28TH THEY INFORMED US THAT VECHILE HAS GONE FOR TEST DRIVE AND AFTER THAT WE WILL DELIVERY THE VECHILE. BUT STILL WE ARE KEPT IN DARK SIDE THAT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE VECHILE. NO ONE WAS READY TO ANSWER OUR CALL. HAS I WAS WORRIED THAT THESE PEOPLE HAS NO COURTERSY TO ANSWER OUR QUESTION AND I GOT STRUCK UP WITH 2MONTHS WITHOUT VECHILE. I WAS DESPAERATE TO TAKE MY VECHILE DELIVERY. WHAT I DID WAS I ASKED SUNDRAM MOTORS TO SEND THE VECHILE TO MY HOME ON 30TH AND DELIVER THE VECHILE TO US. HE HAD SENT THE VECHILE LATE NIGHT AROUND 8PM AND HANDED OVER THE CHEQUE FOR 115000/-. ON DATED 3RD MAY. I INFORMED THEM THAT THERE WAS ENGINE PROBLEM BECAUSE THE GEAR WAS NOT SHIFTING PROPERLY, AND THERE WAS SOUND LIKE AIRPLANE TAKING OFF, NO DAMAGE PARTS WERE GIVEN BACK, AND ALSO IT WAS NOT WASHED WHILE GIVING THE VECHILE DELIVERY.

                                I ENQUIRED THESSE PROBLEM WITH OTHER EX PEOPLE OF THE SHOWROOM, THEY SAID THAT CAPATIVA VECHILE IN INDIA WHICH ARE COMING ARE WITH MAJOR TURBO AND ENGINE PROBLEM, EVEN THEN INDIA GOVERNMNET IS ALLOWING THE VECHILE TO BE SOLD IN INDIA. IF WE SEE THE SERVICE RECORD OF CAPTIVE WHICH ARE SOLD IN INDIAN MARKET 85-90 % VECHILE HAS GONE THROUGH THE ENGINE CEASED OR TURBO GONE.

                                AFTER CONSULTING THIS IS HAVE MADE STOPPED PAYMENT TO SUNDRAM MOTORS AND AKSED TO GIVE ME PROPER REPLY WHAT WAS HAPPENED TO VECHILE, WHY WAS THIS HAPPEN, AND WHAT WAS THE REASON. EVEN WE HAD CONTACTED GENERAL MOTORS SOUTH INCHARGE ON THIS, BUT THEY ARE SUPPORTING SUNDRAM MOTORS ITSELF AND REVEALING WHAT WAS WRONG.

                                I WAS 1ST ASKED QUOTE WAS ABOUT 385000/- WHICH THEY INFORMED US THAT GENERAL MOTORS ARE BEARING 200000/- AND U NEED TO SHELL OUT 185000/- FOR THE SERVICE CHARGE AND LATER I WAS NEGO. TO 140000/-.

                                MY QUESTION WAS
                                1.WHY DID GM HAS TO 200000/- WHEN THEY SAY VECHILE IS NOT UNDER WARRANTY.
                                2. WHY SUNDRAM HAS TAKEN 15DAYS TO ANSWER ME WHAT HAPPEN TO VECHILE AND ASKING US TO PAY 25000/- ADVANCE WHEN MY 24LACS CAR IS WITH THEM, WHICH NO SERVICE CO ASK FOR THIS TYPE OF ADVANCE MONEY.
                                3. WHY DID GM AND SUNDRAM MOTORS ARE NOT REVELAING WHAT WAS THE EXCAT MISTAKE HAPPEN IN THE VECHILE.
                                4. WHY WHEN THERE IS NO PROPER SUPPORT IN INDIA FOR CAPTIVA IMPORTED VECHILE, WHY INDIA GOVERNMENT IS STILL ALLOWING TO EXPOLIT INDIA WITH REJECTED VECHILE IN INDIAN MARKET.
                                5. IF THERE IS INCOMPITANCE IN SERVICE WHY GM IS ALLOWING THEY VECHILE TO SELL IN INDIA MARKET.
                                6. WHEN ORIGANALLY IT WAS ASKED 385000/- HOW CAN A SERVICE CO SETTLE WITH 140000/-. WHICH CLEARY UNDERSTOOD THAT IT BEEN CUSTOMER IS TAKEN FOR RIDE IF HE DONT KNOW ABOUT THE VECHILE. WHICH CLEARY SAYS IT MAL PRACTICE BY GM AND SERVICE CENTRE IN INDIA.

                                IF WE SEE THE SERVICE AUDIT REPORT FROM 3RD AUDIT COMPANY IN CAPTIVA VECHILE SERVICE HISTORY, WE WILL COME TO KNOW THE QUALITY OF THIS VECHILE. I THINK WE ARE GETTING FOOLED BY THE GM BYE SELLING REJECTED CAR IN INDIA.

                                  I had booked a Chevrolet Spart LT LPG model on 17th April'2011 from Speed Chevrolet. This showroom is located at Baguihati, V.I.P Road Kolkata. They promised me the tentative date of car delivery on 15th May'2011. However, just after 10 days of my booking they called me and said due to some unforseen situation in their factory, they won't be able to deliver my car on the stipulated date. Even they could not give me any updated delivery date. I have disbursed all my money to them for this car, and left with nothing -- neither money , nor the car.

                                    I purchase a car CHEVROLET TAVERA on 29th Dec. 2010 from the SPEED CHEVROLET. They told me Registration will be from BARASAT and registration cost given me on QUATION paper Rs. 52,250.00, After that they told me "youer permanent address is Memari so it will be BURDWAN No." I told them "its ok". After the long time they given me registration paper without Smart Card. During some problem they given me a particulars for Rs.100.00. But actually it given to the customer with free of cost from the RTO. After that they given me my Tax Token without counter part. I wanted for the counter part of the Tax Token but they told me, it will not given to the customer. Then I told them, "give me the total cost particularwise." They regret me. Two month later i see the Xerox copy of my tax token and Rs. 40,520.00 is the actual Tax cost. I need some help. I hope so.

                                      The lease on my 2008 Chevrolet Malibu is about to expire in August. Suburban Chevrolet has contacted me concerning this twice. The first time I received a voice mail, which was a recorded message alerting me of this. I can never remember of someone in sales leaving a pre-recorded message on my phone. I was mildly upset and figured if someone really wanted to sell me or lease me a car they would at least do it live and not with some damn recording. The second time, a call was sent to my cell phone, which I answered and it was this same recording by the sales manager, Mike Mausser. I do not appreciate using my cell phone minutes listening to a damn recorded sales pitch. This time I called the dealer and spoke with Mike in person. I told him that I thought this was one of the most unscrupulous and unethical sales practices I have ever experienced. He replied how much success and business it has brought to the dealership. Bull Crap! I have told this story to a half a dozen people and they all agreed that they also would have been angry and upset. My father retired from Oldsmobile as did my brother, Gm put food on our table and money in our pockets for many years. Will potential car buyers, that have no reason of personal loyalty to your brand ever purchase another vehicle from this dealership? This one sure won't. It makes me wonder just who dreamed up this stupid idea in the first place.

                                      The first time I leased a car from this dealer, the sales person actually had the nerve to fill out the owner satisfaction card for me (all marks were the highest) and asked me to sign it. I absolutely swear this is true!
