i have buyed chrevolet spark LS LPG on 26 Nov 2010 . After using it for 2 -3 months i have realized that there is a big problem with the car mileage as company is quotating 18 kmpl on petrol and 13 on LPG but only 8 kmpl on petrol and even less than that on gas. i reported the problem to nearest service center but they r not interested to rectify the problem. they r giving silly excuses that its from company , mileage cannot be changed. we can't do anything in that . Plz help me

    have bought a Chevorlet Optra Magnum LT from Geeyem Motors, Thrissur, Kerala. At the time of buying I was made to believe that this is THE car for the price it has in the market. I was also told about the after sales effort that Chevorlet puts in to make their customers happy is truly amazing and getting it serviced anywhere in India is hassle free but that has not been the case.

    Unfortunately, on the 22nd of April I happened to meet with an accident. Luckily no one inside the car was hurt and the car went on top of the divider. This happened since there was absolutely or I must say less visibility in front as Bangalore received its highest rainfall in a period of 6 hours and since the road was full of rain water the divider was not visible. I gave my car to Trident Automobiles Pvt Ltd in Bangalore as I reside here on the 23rdof April and it was towed. I was made to understand that there has been damage to the engine sump at the bottom and that they need to have a thorough look to identify what else has gone wrong. So the sales manager suggested me that I claim my insurance with HDFC as the vehicle was less than 6 months old. Then I was informed that the insurance approval has been done but there is unavailability of a particular part without which they cannot start the work. Till date they haven’t managed to get that and its now 13 days since they have no update on that part. I presume that it is the engine bracket as this is what they have told me today.


    Since my work requires me to travel extensively my job is not meeting its requirements to the fullest. I don't think they are trying their best to get this fixed. They haven’t even offered me a replacement car. I don't get any updates until I call them. I have no idea what is happening and it's the same with them too. They cannot even give me a tentative date as to when this could be fixed. I am on the verge of raising a consumer complaint. If Chevorlet does manage to sell cars why not also maintain a good after sales service. How can there be no parts availability?

    I have decided to sell the car as soon as i have it even if i have to go through a depreciation loss of 50,000 INR or more.

    Please think twice before buying a Chevorlet brand. There are other better options.

        JUST FROM DAY ONE IT STARTS GIVING PROBLEMS THAT IS NOT WHAT I HAVE HEARD OF CHEVROLET BRAND THATS TOO OF FROM YOUR LUXURY CAR SEGMENT. FOLLOWING ARE THE PROBLEMS THAT I AM FACED TILL DATE;-

        1.REAR DOOR OF THIS CAR WAS NOT OPENING AS THE LOCK WAS FOUND BROKEN SOME HOW WE GOT THIS REPAIRED

        2. NO ALIGNMENT OF STEERING OF NEW CAR

        3. JUST AFTER 5 DAYS OF PURCHASE ONE OF THE MAJOR PROBLEM OCCURRED IN THIS CAR
        TURBO ENGINE PIPE BROKE DOWN .WE CALL THE COMPANY FOR THIS AND THEY SAID THATS ITS NOT AVAILABLE WITH US RIGHT NOW THAT U WILL GET IT AFTER 15 DAYS EITHER U PARK THIS CAR WITH US OR U CAN DRIVE THIS CAR WITH NOT MORE THAN SPEED OF 50. SO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR 15 DAYS . I HAVE TO MISS MY MOST IMPORTANT OUT STATION TRIP TO SHIMLA. AFTER 15 DAYS I GO TO COMPANY AND THEY SAID WE HAVEN'T REVIVED THE PIPE TILL DATE AND THEY REPLACED ME WITH THE OLDER PIPE OF SOME OTHER CAR WHICH IS ALREADY DRIVEN 40000 KM.

        4.DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY I AM TRAVELLING TO AMRITSAR SUDDENLY MY CAR AC STOP WORKING AND MOREOVER ONE OF THE MIRROR OF REAR WINDOW STOPS FUNCTIONING. YOU CAN IMAGINE WHAT I HAVE TO FEEL IN THIS HOT WEATHER. MY DRIVER WENT TO UR COMPANY IN AMRITSAR THEY SAID WE HAVE TO LOOK FOR IT SOME GAS PIPE IS LEAKING IT WILL TAKE 4 TO 5 HOURS. SO I CAME BACK TO LUDHIANA AS IT IS.

        I FEEL CHEATED AFTER PAYING UR COMPANY RS 13.5 LACS FOR THIS CAR. EITHER U HAVE SUPPLIED ME DEFECTED PIECE OR THERE IS SOME SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH THIS CAR.

        I have purchased my chevrolet cruze from padam moters, ludhiana around an year before I.e in march 2010 and I really feel cheated by buying this car.
        In this just 1 year duration, the car dint start aftr switching off the engine. Once I had to call to padam motors to send me a help and rest 2 times I had to just keep on trying to start this piece of crap and it got statrd aftr n hours time.

        Secondly I have even got its shocker replaced, that too without any reason that it got jammed.

        its the first car of chevrolet in my life and I am really totally dissapointed with the car as its totally unreliable.
        Thank god that it gave me the problem before leaving for delhi, due to which I had to go back to my place and changed the car and went to delhi.

        I FEEL CHEATED AFTER PAYING UR COMPANY FOR THIS CAR. EITHER U HAVE SUPPLIED ME DEFECTED PIECE OR THERE IS SOME SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH THIS CAR.

          i have taken a Chevrolet Beat in the Month of October and as per the commitment given at the time of taking the car , it was finalized that if CPC is made then there would no charges towards any maintance charges for all things except broken things. but to my surprise today i had given my car for servicing and they have charged rs 1236/- towards AC filter change. It should have been done free of cost .

          then why the CPC was done and why have i paid rs 15000/- towards CPC . it is cheating that is being done by GM motors and these kind of things is not at all acceptable and it is a cheating to customers

          i want a confirmation call from GM motors what all are covered under this CPC and why details were not provided before the delivery of the vechile.

          i will suite a case in the consumer forum

            I bought Chevrolet BEAT on 30/ 03/2011 however I took delivery om09/04/2011 due to muhurat.
            have still not received the registration of my car, even after 22 days of making payment which was done on 30/03/2011. This is an offence I can go for legal proceedings if the need arise, but I just don’t want to

            Secondly the people just back off from their words. I was told to be given an insurance of Rs 15,530 as free. I asked Mr Vikas (sales manager) specifically about the insurance company and the details of insurance before booking. I wanted to get insurance myself but I was told to be assured. When I took delivery of my car on 09/04/2011, insurance copy was not given to me, the executives must be afraid that they are cheating me so they did not show me the details at the time of delivery
            Had I known that the IDV of my new car would be reduced so much just amounting to Rs 39,0000 I would never have taken the delivery.

            I was not given any receipt of the amount of petrol prefilled in the car, which is a norm. The other dealer in Jaipur- Triumph motors do so and provide proper receipt

            The invoice was given to me on 19/04/2011 i.e. 20 days after payment and 10 days of taking delivery, isn’t it very unusual. Moreover I paid Rs 4,51,000/- for the car in which insurance is free with freebies including only the basic version of reverse parking sensors(cost Rs 2000/-) and remote locking (cost Rs 1500)
            The invoice that I got was only for Rs4,10,000/-
            Where is the balance of Rs 41000/-?

            Why did the people in the office advised me against taking maintenance package? On the day od making payment i.e.on 30/03/2011 I wanted to go for maintenance package but everyone said that I should not go for it. I specifically asked for their advice as I was new to this and I was wrongly advised. Why?

            When I had made payment on 30/03/2011 the cost of maintenance package was Rs 13,500. But on the day of delivery these people changed the cost. When I am paying for the car as per March rates then why should I be told rates for April?
            I could have taken the delivery any time even after one/two months, so the rate for maintenance package should remain the same, Isn’t it so.
            By the way the people in other competitive and better dealership have confirmed that since I paid in March so the maintenance package should have been given at the same cost of March and not the revised rates of April
            I deeply regret having to deal with such a dealership where executives come to my home and say that their services will be affected if I complaint against them. The very improper words of the executive were ”madam apko gaadi ki service to humare pas hi karani padegi, e-email karke relation kyu kharab karte ho?”
            Instead of improvising, I am told to backoff as they can later harm is that so?

            Even i agree by this complainant. Many dealerships try to monopolize things especially in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

            I am from Bareilly and the service of ANALYSIS MOTORS, BAREILLY is worse than anyone else. I was very happy with Maruti service and now i am repenting buying a chevrolet vehicle as service is so horrible in Bareilly.
            i have purchased my car from D.P.M motors Dehradun and i am residing at Meerut
            i hv purchased BEAT 1.2 LT model and the parts like
            =>mud flaps not provided
            =>foot mat low quality
            as i know chevrolet is a very reputed company but this type of response was unexpected from them hope it will be in action soon and i will get some positive response from the dealer and company.

              Respected Sir,
              This is in regards to Chevrolet beat which met with an accident around a month back with a requirement to place both driver side front and back doors with no other work whatsoever needed to be done, my car is with ANALYSIS MOTORS of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh since the last 24 days with no response whatsoever on how and when will i be able to get my car back. A real sorry state of a companies service which we chose just because of its high end claims regarding great service. Its not only shameful at the service providers's part but a disgrace to the company as well.
              I am too fed up now and want my car back which still is lying somewhere in their garage with no regard and respect to what is called a customer satisfaction.
              I'm highly dissatisfied with the service which has washed away the pleasure of buying the amazing car made by the company

                In details, I have booked my New Chevy Beat from Gallops Motor, Vijay Cross Road branch,Ahmedabad. As there was very huge gap in accessories price I had decided not to fit this from the dealer which we have already intimated. Now, on delivery time I got a call from your people stating that your Car is ready with all accessories like mag wheels and all despite of big No for the same. Instead of committed time and place of delivery, it was delayed about an hour and we need to take Car from Sarkhej Branch instead of Vijay Cross Road branch as committed before.
                This is not over. There is BIG trouble in car is AC which was not working at ALL, I dont know is there any policy from Chevrolet people to have check the car before delivering it or NOT. Again there was noise coming from front wheels.

                After compaints, They have taken the car from my home and saying that they have fix the AC problem but still AC is not giving good cooling effect. they have register my car with RTO without taking my Approval


                I think the whole process of Chevrolet have some major problem starting from Sales people to Delivery and after sales and supports. I have lots my faith on the product.

                I want to take legal actions againts Chervolet and Gallops motor. Please advice me for the same

                RIM — delay of work

                I applied for a transfer of postpaid connection to transfer into prepaid connection. we cleared all the dues before 4th of june. since then we are just waiting for our number to start. my mobile number is[protected].

                  from your Showroom at JAMSHEDPUR, NARBHERAM MOTORS PVT.LTD. on 30/11/2010. At the time of purchase, Sales Executives Mr.Jagdish said that your car`s tyres are tubeless&alloy wheel, but when car are covered 2950 k.m. suddenly tyre is punchered when i was driving the car, then i consult a mechanic for repairing, he said that your tyre is not tubeless. at that time i was really socked. then i again consult with Mr. Jagdish, but he said i was wrong, now your tyres are not tubeless, Now a days companies are not provided tubeless tyres.
                  But now my tyre & tube is completely damaged due to Mr.jagdish`s statement.
                  pls kindly review my major problem & solve it as soon as it possible.

                    Sir, I have purchased a beat LS from M/s. Vardhman Motors Rewari(Haryana) in March 2010. The mileage of the vehicle is hardly 11/11.5 K.M per liter, whereas the company claims much more. Either the company makes fake and false assurances to the customers and making fools or there is manufacturing defect in my car. Regarding this I have repeatedly made complaints to the dealer but the dealer always makes one pretext or the other and have not taken any step to resolve my complaint and replied that this is a matter between me and company.

                      I purchased a car Chevrolet Aveo LT from M/s Vardajyoti Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., Meerut, UP. Reg. No UP 15 AK 0880 on 29.03.2009. It has been creating problems since starting. At least 10 times it has visited the service centre due to following problems
                      1. On neutral RPM keeps on varying.
                      2. Lack of pickup.
                      3. Average is less than 8 kmpl
                      4. A lot of noise in engine.

                      As per dealer & authorized service centre till date IAC Valve & Throttle body have been changed but the problem is still existant. Further no cooperation is being received from your authorized service centre.


                      A Telephonic Complaint regarding the same has also been lodged with Mr Vivek Sardana. Complaint No 21714 followed by a complaint via email. But in response I recieved only were assurence E mail from company even after a lapse of almost 10 days.

                      i own a chevrolet aveo 1.4base, , , i encounter the same varying rpm problem they changed everything from vaccum pipes to iac motor...still the problem persists, they tuned the vehicle with tech 2...and latest software for aveo ...but nothing gr8 has happened...just nnow another upgrade of sw has been done ...till now it has not come up but God knows...id suggest go for sw upgrade...but i agree the customer care is like helll with gm ...i doont want buy there vehicle anymore now just for poor service

                        I faced the worst services from the dealer 'Gallops Motors', Himmatnagar staff since the day of an inquiry about the car.

                        The services for the car are also not provided satisfactory. The staff kicks out the customer by blaming internal divisions like sales to service dept. and vice-versa. The service manager smokes in the service area. As well the provided services like replacement of broken glass and even wheel alignment are not satisfactory. After providing the car back after 8-9 days even the broken glasses pasticles were not removed from the car.

                        On complaining the same at their H.O. at Ahmedabad the asst. manager had not taken any action.

                        This spoils the reputation of General Motors. Kindly pay attention towards such problems.
                        Awaiting for the best services in future.

                          I have got message in the mobile that I have won 100lakh.And when I emailed them, They are asking to give details of me.

                            Now the complaint is that we have bought it on 8Th Feb 2011 but i still did not get the registration no.they always say that the they soon respond to the problem but today at 1st March they said that they lost the no.slip.we don't have any document of this car even the Insurance bond we received after 15days and due to this in proper document we had a traffic chalan.
                            we had face many problems because of this issue now we want our compensation as we didn't drive the car properly and the 1st service of the car is got waste,we want to extend the 1st service time by another 30 days.
                            those people whose entertain us is Sonia mehra (team leader) and other then charu both and all staff are support less .
                            pl. solve this matter as soon as possible. but our experience is bad with your channel and we are not recommended you

                              I own a beautiful AVEO LTS since April 2007. But unfortunately from past few weeks I started experiencing the problems with the braking system which is ABS in my car. But for that I am very happy with the vehile. I have invested a lot on this problem at TRIDENT MOTORS, Mysore show room. I always go to the show room for any problem. Now it is a very serious issue, because braking system is supposed to be very perfect, otherwise I and my family will be in high level of risk. I got one of the sensors replaced with the new one, but again the show room service people say, another sensor has gone which is supposed to be replaced. They also replaced the braking pads etc., which has cost a lot of amount. It is for the GM India to see that my car's braking system is made perfect at their own expense, otherwise I am going to sue the company in the Consumer court. Please get this problem solved, as my vehicle is there at Mysore's show room service centre. Vehicle NO. KA 09 P 1611.

                                I have given my spark ( AP 31 BD 5388 ) on 24th,feb 2011 on a complaint LPG connection is tripping off to petrol very frequently, after keeping the vehicle in service center for 2 days , they have returned me the car without rectification of problem and stated that car is repaired ,

                                when i am about to cross the service center gate , I got same problem and as i asked mechanic , he simply suggested to use car for 2 days and register again for complaint

                                again on 28th, feb 2011 , I gave my vehicle for service center., till today my vehicle is not repaired and they didn't gave any expected release date of my vehivle till today ( 2nd march, 2011)


                                for every service they are taking 3 days time, very poor services

                                    I had purchased a Chevrolet Optra Magnum 2.0 LT car from Desai Motors, Vapi in Feb , 2009. I took that car ( GJ-15-PP-6743 ) for solving my problem to Desai Motors, Vapi. I told them about the problem that my car vibrates a lot while driving and when we apply brakes it vibrates like roller coaster. They failed to sort-out the problem since the very first day of my car delivery. I gave them my car for atleast 10 times for sorting out the problem, they tried their steps to solve the problem but they failed each and every time. After getting failed soo many times they are still not accepting that they would not be able to sort out the problem. I have spent about Rs 60000 and they are not ashamed of it too. They are still asking me to spend a little more to solve the problem, and in which I dint had done any kind of mistake or dint even had smashed my car even once. In fact I was about to lost my life because of driving this kind of car which is not in proper condition and not advisable to drive. They asked me to change my tyres, which I did twice, I changed my tyres 2 times by my expense, then still problem was as the same did not got solved. Then they asked me to change the brake pads and brake drums and disc brakes, that also I changed on my expenses, and still the problem was unsolved. Please help me for solving this. Now they are not listening to my problem and asking me to pay for which I am not suppose to. They told me that it will be O.K. And they will call me within seven to ten days. Still now they have not responded and I am suffering for that. I reside in a distance of about 40 km. From that service center and it is a bit expensive to go several times for the same problem repeatedly. Please help me for this so that I can get my car problem fixed up at the earliest.

                                    I own a optra magnum LT (2009) even my car has the same problem..it starts after an initial 50 km, then it goes on increasing..even GM service over here could not rectify it..i ve changed the tyres twice, changed brake pads, rotors..countless times wheel balancing and alingnment..the problem is still persisting..My friend has bought mptra magnum LT in 2010 he is also experiencing the same problem...anyone have any idea how to rectify it?!!!

                                      I had my car 3rd service of My car BEAT LS on 15000 KMS at shimla rajbir motors and gone to delhi for family function. When I drived 70 KMs the car is going left side automaticly. cause of wrong allingment of Tyres. I reached delhi and gone to chervotel service center at dabur chouk, UP near gazipur delhi and re allign the allignment and paid Aproxx. Rs 350/- to 400/- . now I cam back to shimla the problem still remains the same. Two of the tyres are totally dead and not able to use anymore. today I am at Rajvir motor, shimla came for allingment of tyres they bill me the allignment charges again. Pls guide me how to reimburse my loss and two tyres loss due to the negligency of companys service.
