After 4 pm on 18/12/2018, ms gunjan sharma, citibank official from their mumbai branch called me from phone no.[protected] and informed that my credit card reward points would expire soon.in order to save that she would credit rs.4998/- to my account and requested me to confirm the otp. Immediately i verified my account and i could find that my account was debited with rs.4998/- each, twice instead of crediting my account. Thus she cheated me for rs.9996/-. She withdrew the amount through the mobile wallet pvt. Ltd.

Under these circumstances, i humbly request you to register a formal complaint against ms. Gunjan sharma and the mobile wallet pvt. Ltd. And book the culprit and ensure that both are brought before a court of justice and that suitable punishment is meted out to them. Please also ensure that the amount of rs.9996/- plus expenses if any, are recovered from them.

    Dear sir,

    After 4 pm on 18/12/2018, smt. Gunjan sharma from city bank, mumbai called me from phone no.[protected] and informed me that my rewards points would expire soon.in order to save the expiry she would credit rs.4998/- to my credit card account by encashing the rewards points and asked me to confirm the otp. Shortly after that i could find that rs.4998/- was debited to my account twice, instead of crediting my account. I have received the following sms message twice:- "rs.4998/- was spent on your citi card... On 18-dec-18 at the mobile wallet pvt ltd". Thus rs.9996/- has been withdrawn from my account fraudulently by smt. Gunjan sharma.

    Under these circumstances, i request you to please book the culprit and initiate suitable penal actions against her and force her to give back the amount fraudulently withdrawn from my account.

      Hi, this balakrishna m. I was having citi bank savings debit card which is also my salary account. Money from my account has been debited with out my knowledge and also i haven't received any security options like otp while the transactions was done. But according to the messages i am receiving, my money is being withdrawn by "google *meme".

      I also complained to the bank and i was asked to complaint in police station and they haven't received my complaint and asked me to approach in "cyber crime".

      Note: the bank people said with out the complaint copy they can not start looking in to this issue. So, i am approaching "consumer complaints". Here i am providing the complaint reference number for bank. Kindly look in to this issue.

        I am a Home loan customer of Citi Bank Holding a/c no. 2xx1377, Loan was taken in 2010 & since then Amount is deducted from My Syndicate bank a/c, but from Sep18 onward amount is not deducted by Citi Bank. Now there recovery agents & regularly calling me & treating me as a defaulter, They are asking for interest & Penalty, Also demanding to pay amount in Cash, which I refused & asked them to deduct from my a/c. Also If amount is to be paid separately I had asked them to provide a letter that in future no penalty/Interest will charge from me as Non deduction from account was not my fault. Which they not agreed though they are giving verbal commitment which is not /value. Now they had send a Notice with reference No. LRN MORT/WEST/DEC-18/274 & Threatening to recall entire loan, This is a unnecessary harassment done by Bank, They also Closed Branch in City (Indore). I have registered complaint through there portal, which they refused to accept as my mail was not registered. & given some link for registration of mail, but the link is not working. Also I have tried different way to register my mail, which they are not accepting . Request you to kindly take the matter to higher autohrity & resolve. I am maintaining balance of all EMI Till date.

          I submitted an international cheque on 20th of october 2018. I spoke to the citi customer care executives to check the status of this and they said the cheque had been cleared and the amount should get credited by 5th of december.
          I spoke to an executive on 5th of december 2018. He mentioned that the amount will be credited by 5th of december end of the day. Its been close to 60 days since i dropped this cheque.
          I would like to know when the amount will be credited to my account.
          There has been a tremendous delay from citi bank. I would like to escalate this matter to the top management of citi. This is the worst service i have received so far.

            I had about 15 years long association with citibank in the form of salary account. Recently i changed my job and with my new organization preferred to continue with citibank as salary account. My salary is being disbursed in citibank. However citibank is not acknowledging it has salary and forcefully converted it to non salary account with mandatory minimum balance of inr 1, 00, 000.00. On contacting citibank, they are telling that they don't have tieup with my new organization and hence can not continue this account as salary account in spite of salary being deposited in the account. They are telling me to either close the account or convert it to basic account which will have capping of maximum 4 transactions per month.in case transactions goes beyond 4, account will get converted to minimum balance of 2, 00, 000.00 and accordingly penalty will be invoked if balance is not maintained. Now i have difficult situation since there are many places i have references of this account since i am using it for last 15 years and all those references changed to any other bank will be very big task.
            Looks like citibank has started taking customers for granted and want to make money by any means. How come my account becomes normal account even if salary is getting deposited?

            I am yet to get any revert from Citibank. As if they are trying hide things under the carpet. Only option available is to go to social media and expose them.

                I have raised concern about money transaction to airtel which has not received by them. I have shared my all details of airtel info to city bank for futher investigation. On the first time of call, i got response as required 7-8 days for investigation which they didnot come back. On 2nd time of call to citybank the investigation time extended to 60 days.
                I am just asking is this the way city bank is responding to the customer. Tough to believe on them...

                  Dear sir, this is my first time to give u service offer to me. But unfortunately i hate this bank and i will never suggest any one for your bank..
                  I m buying tata ace loading vehicle from firozabad up and i want finance and sales manager advice me for your bank and he give one officer of your bank but i have called me for last 5 days and he don't told me that i will not but he making fool of myself and he saying i m coming in just 1 hour 2 hour that's it.. This is the way for fooling customer.. His name is avtar singh who is handling finance for tundla, firozabad, sikohabad circle..

                    Dear consumer forum,,
                    I refer to my complaint regarding fraud transfer of rs. 3499.00 by citibank card no. 4386xxxxxxxx2348 to citrus pay mcafee
                    However there was no response from citibank or citrus and i have to pay this fraud amount to citibank to avoid their fund collectors visit to my home.

                    I therefore request indian consumer forum to stop any future dealing in this card as i have no trust in citibank card any more. Hence i request you to help me in this regard as i am presently in usa and will be back in india by only by january 2019 and cancellation of this card is possible only after i reach india. I request your help as citibank never bother to respond to any of my foreign calls.

                      I got a new citi rewards cc last year through some agent visited to our office. The card was free for first year and a renewal charges from second year on-wards. I was unable to use the card for first year and second year i was charged a renewal fees (1000+ taxes) which i paid. Later i came to know that the card has been cancelled by the bank as i was not using it. I never received any intimation from the bank that they are canceling my card.

                      After speaking with the bank, i came to know that the card has been cancelled long back before i paid the renewal changes. How can the bank charge on the card which has been already cancelled or how can they cancel my card if they are charging a renewal fees on it? I had written multiple mails to the bank but there was no reply.

                      I believe that the bank is using cheap methods to earn money, so please stay away from this bank.

                      Take any indian bank credit card, there services are much better or go with amex, you will love their services.

                      My account has been blocked and when I try calling customer care they are saying that no action can be taken from our end and they don't even know when it will be unblocked .. I have worst experience from Citi bank. I will close it as soon as possible after unblocking that .. but they don't even have branches for easy access ..

I am using this card since 6 years and i never made any atm cash withdrawal because i know it's very coastly still i get a message that 500 rs was spent on my card and card is with me. Transaction was made on 4th oct 2018. I never check my statement but today when i checked i found this transaction. Moreover 500 + taxes being charged by citibank. I never made any blunder or late payment with citi bank. I am very loyal customer. Kindly refund my all amount so that i can continue my relationship with you

                            My credit card number [protected] was misused for an amount of rs. 54056/- through theft on 14 sep 07 and fir copy of the same was faxed on the same day to citibank office at gurgaon. However, instead of regularise the loss they have charged amount against me. I have categorically intimated them that this is a disputed case and it should not have been charged against me. However, they continue to charge interest against it and as of now it was showing rs 2, 45, 000/- as overdue and showing post write off setteled in cibil report due to that i have negative cibil report. When i try to contact them for settlement for that amount they are not responding neither they provide me the no due certificate.

                              I have made a hdfc neft transaction on 27 set 2018 of amount 4709 to citibank credit card but citibank is saying that they have not received the amount as per their neft report and hdfc bank is saying that they have credited the amount.

                              So where is that amount went? I have shared all the proofs with citibank through their mail.

                              I feel helpless as these guys are not helping at all and i am feeling like i have lost my money.

                              I need your support. Please help.

                                Hi, there was an offer running by citibank at shoppers stop where a 10% cashback was offered on transaction of 5k rupees and above if you use the citibank card. To take advantage of the offer, i did 4 separate transactions of 5k and above using the citibank card. However, when i called up citibank about this offer, they said this was only for citibank shoppers stop card. But their promotional ads at shoppers stop did not specify that. So it was a misleading ad for a consumer. I have compliant to citibank 3 times about this but have got no response from them. Everytime i call, they raise a new compliant though they promise a resolution within 24 hours.

                                  On oct 20, 2018 i received an alert message saying that "rs.3499.00 spent on my card xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx at citrus pay mcafee was processed without pin/opt as prescribed by rbi. Available balance limit is rs xxxxxxx" since i was shocked the alert, presuming it might have a fraud, i tried to contact you thru email/web - contact etc., as presently i am in usa and contacting on phone was not possible. Even i mailed to citrus questioning on the authority of drawing my money without my consent. However there was no response from both of you instead you have sent me your monthly statement including above fraud amount. Now, i realized that this is a possible fraud jointly operated by you and citrus.
                                  I therefore request you to kindly return the above illegal payment processed from my credit card account and also cancel my credit card immediately as i have no trust in your card any more.in case if there is no response from you on this subject i may have to approach consumer protect authority to do the needful.

                                  Further to my complain above, I presume Citibank may not bother to reply as this seems to be a planned fraud. I received Citibank bank statement instructing to pay the subject amount by 5th December 2018. The Citrus company account shows no balance in my account. Once the above due amount I pay to Citibank they will not refund instead come out with many queries and excuses to avoid the refund but if not paid there will be their fund collecting team in my door. Even though I decided to pay this amount considering as this is part of charity, my worry is that there are chances of other transaction in future as they may decide with out my consent IPIN, OPT etc., which may be even a larger amount??. Hence I request you to help me to cancel this Citibank credit card immediately before another fraud transaction happens. Since I am in USA and will be back in India by January 2019 second week I require your help as Citibank never bother to respond to any of my foreign calls.

                                  On October 20, 2018 I received following alert message from Citibank:

                                  '"Rs.3499.00 spent on card xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ON 20- OCT- 18 at CITRUSPAY MCAFEE was processed without PIN/OPT as prescribed by RBI. Available balance limit is Rs xxxxxxx"
                                  I was shocked on above message alert as I never expected my few decade old trusted Citibank card will cheat me by paying some third party without my consent. Hence I presumed that it might have a fraud transaction, and I tried to contact CITIBANK as well as you through email/web - contact etc., but there was no result. Since I am in USA on a visit at present contacting on phone was not possible. Even I mailed to you (citrus) questioning your authority of drawing my money without my consent. However there was no response from both of you instead Citibank sent me their monthly statement including above fraud amount. Now, I realized that this is a possible fraud jointly operated by Citibank and citrus. You may be multi million turnover company but you have no authority to steal my single paisa without my consent or RBI got an authority to allow to steel my money by an non concerned party.
                                  I therefore request you to kindly return the above illegal payment to my bank as I already paid to Citibank the above amount so as to avoid their fund collector at my door. I already complained through this platform my desire to cancel my Citibank card as I lost my trust on them.
                                  I also request you to not phone me as I am having a roaming mobile number and I do not want to waste another dough on this issue. However you may write to me in my email: [protected]@hotmail.com

                                  Please note that all transactions processed through Citrus payment gateway are processed with a Two-factor authentication mechanism. Please note that the mentioned transaction/s were processed only after a 2nd-factor confirmation like OTP/PIN/Online password from the customer’s end. Also, there is very less probability of stopping/reversing such transactions. Never share your card number, CVV, PIN, OTP, Internet Banking User ID & Password with anyone via any means. Sharing these details can lead to unauthorized access to your account and PayU will not be liable for any loss arising due to any such unauthorized transaction/s.

                                  In this unforeseen situation if you need the details of the transaction/s or want this to be investigated further, please raise your query to your bank that has issued you Credit card/Debit card /Savings Bank. Your Bank shall facilitate you on the further process.

                                  AND I replied to them as follows:

                                  Dear Citrus Team,
                                  I re quote the following message received from Citibank which you ignored while proving your honesty:
                                  "Rs.3499.00 spent on card xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ON 20- OCT- 18 at CITRUSPAY MCAFEE was processed without PIN/OPT as prescribed by RBI. Available balance limit is Rs xxxxxxx"
                                  Since my bank did not give any reason for above transaction, your claim of two factor authentication is a false statement as per above message. More over I do not know the reason for collecting fund from me or you had any correspondence with me in this connection. I have proof of the above Citibank message and may claim my damages and suffering I had both from you and Citibank.
                                  Surprisingly where is the payment you collected from me? When I try to log on to your website it is not allowing to log as I am in USA and reasoning of server privacy???? . Any way I will not allow you to use this amount as a donation from me but definitely collect with interest and other damages even I have to go legal process for this small amount.

                                    I was given a shoppers stop citibank credit card, which was told free for lifetime to me. However i started receiving messages for the payment, i tried calling up citi bank toll free numbers given in the message and on website, but none were reachable, i also tried making the payment, but the request was invalid... Now i have been receiving messages that my eligibility is being hampered / scores affected and so on. I have never used this card, and will not want to use it any more... So kindly assist me with the resolution by removing those charges (Annual maintenance) and closing my card immediately so that it does not affect my cibil scores

                                      I had a failed transaction which I paid from phone pay account...when I contacted them for failed transaction they told me to lodge complain as it was not pending from their side...I transacted on 9th Nov, its been 7days I still did not get refund, kindly look into the issue asap...
                                      I did not find any other source to contact citi bank, I have attached screenshot for your reference

                                        I have never applied for credit card or any of the other facilities at CITI bank. Still they somehow they got my mobile number and started calling me. I getting a call daily and sometimes even 4 times a day.
                                        Even after requesting many times, they don't stop calling.

                                        Requesting to please remove my number from their database. I don't need any of their services.
