I just say in this atm machine deposit possible or not, but he said what is your qualification, you are come from village i say again in this atm deposit possible because i need change of 2000 rupe note
But he said again get lost
It's very verry bad experience with you city bank thank you for this bad experience

    A certain amount is being automatically debited to my Citibank Credit card under the head Suraksha Credit Shield. Till date Citi bank is not providing any details of the policy No. and the package offered. On telephonic conversation they are blank on how much Premium they have collected in my account and how long I have to pay the premium .. should I not get the hard copy of the policy ?... On telling them to discontinue charging the amount to the card, they conveniently say, after a month it will be discontinued... so what about the money paid till date ?? I wish my grievances be attended to .

      I received a message from Citi bank saying that my account has been closed. When I called to customer care they were not able to give me the reason and simply said its due to the compliance reason. I didnt get and call from Citibank saying or notifying me regarding this. This is quite surprising. How could bank did this to me without my consent.

      When I further sent mail to Citibank and asked clarification, they said thaeir clause where they can close the account

      So here is my question:

      How do you ensure that the customer had received your letter?May be he has not or not he is aware that you will close his account.He might be in hospital or in emergency and you close his account and made him die without money.

      Second, How can you remitt my money without my consent.

        On 26.05.2018, Citibank issued me a letter wanting few explanations about a transaction done on 20.07.2017 for Rs 800 which I have sent to my father Sri Samar Kumar Das at Jamshedpur through IMPS.
        The Letter which CItibank has sent to my former office and I recieved the letter on 07.06.2018 . Just after recieving the letter, I reported to the bank on 08.06.2018 and expained in writing and verbally about that transaction for Rs 800.
        But it is a matter of Pity that on 11th July 2018 my account has been blocked by Citibank without any Pre-information and till time and date my account is still blocked for 7 days or more with balance of Rs 4, 00, 000 or more. I am confronting problem in sustaining myself and my family though having an account balance of 4 lakh.

        Also its important to note that my WIfe has undergone an operation at KEM Hospital Pune for which I am facing immence Financial Problems. Citibank will be responsible for any unfavourable circumstances coming from this financial Stringency.

        Again My WIfe Sent me an RTGS Bearing UTR no : UCBAR[protected] on 11th July 2018 for Rs 200, 000 from UCO Bank Midnapore Branch and I came to know that the amount has been recieved by CItibank on 11th July 2018 . The AMount was sent for incurring the Medical expenses for my wife. The Bank has neither credited the amount to my account nor returned it back to the originating account o[censored]CO Bank. The AMount has been kept by Citibank without any intimation to either account holder. UCO Bank has Informed me that they have not recieved the amount till date.

        In such a situation i would request you to take necessary and sufficient steps so that I can operate my account from now immediately and my RTGS Amount may be credited as early as possible.Expecting your immediate Interference.

        Citibank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
        Even I have gone through similar issue, and i see few others also posting in this FORUM. My account has been closed and lucky for me they sent a demand draft for the amount which was in my bank. Fortunately, I had another bank account, and I was able to credit it over there. 2 days back, I get a call from Citibank representative stating if I provide certain details on one my transaction my account will be reactivated. The details that are required is not because of Indian Govt or RBI regulations, but necessary to be provided to US Govt itseems. BS. Why does a US Govt need to know of a transaction within India, and also, the details requested are personal information of the beneficiary which is highly classified as "personal". Pathetic bank. This message has to go all over, and we Indians should move over to Indian Banks, rather this multinationals.

          I have called citi bank Customer care [protected], regarding loan facility, am using citi bank savings account and credit card as well, i spoke to kyann, josephine from service desk and vyshali from loan department but all are very unprofessional executives and they don’t know the processes atleast and keep transferring call to one another and they put the call hold for more than a hour, I really fed up with citi bank services. They said they will arrange a call back but no one responded.

            Hi,
            Who ever read this want to tell you my experience and complain against City bank.
            I took 7 lakh loan from city bank, they deducted some amount as processing fess, i was ok as turn around time and interest rate was better.

            Now everything was smooth because i EMI's were going on time.

            1 month back i asked them for pre closer letter to close my loan, i did not get any, again 1 week back i called and they told they will send by 9th july.
            again no letter, once i called yesterday, the lady told me wait for 3 more days you will get that, now tell me guys who will pay the interest of last 1 month or even 1 week if they are not sending it.
            The CSE told me your mail box is not accepting mail, i have gmail id, which most people use.

            yesterday i paid full amount just by calling customer care and understanding the breakout(atleast there customer call service is good, it connects), now when i called them the lady says sir after 3 days only i can tell, when i asked at least some transaction check or some proof that at least amount is reached, i got the reply no sir, we don't have any.
            i just want to know, really they don't maintain database for the payments, and in this digital world they can't tell whether payment is done or not.

            ok, now next thing i asked is to take a request for sending the loan closer letter or what ever no loan outstanding letter,
            now she told we don't have process to send any letter for loan closer.
            i got surprised and asked what if i want a payment receipt of loan amount which i paid, she told no bank gives online payment slips.

            there are pros and cons but this is really idotic that someone in this digital world says loan closer letter can't be given on mail.

            I have called 1 year back for loan closer and no dues to ICICI, i got that in 10 mins on my mail, but here everything have 3 days SLA and 90% processes are old age, yes they say this is RBI policy:

              Hi Team,

              My credit card no is [protected]. I have called customer care on 12-Feb-2018 and get my credit card closed after 2 specious transaction on 10-Feb-2018 & 11-Feb-2018 respectively. No amount was due at the time of card closure.
              My card status is showing closed in mobile app. But I am still getting statements and bill reminder to pay amount and that amounts keeps on increasing per month.
              I also contacted customer care for this but haven't got satisfactory answer. They say the card has been blocked on temporary basis.

              My conversation with Customer care had been recorded(on 12-Feb) as part of process which would be helpful for investigation where in I have clearly mentioned to close my credit card. Could you please investigate and resolve the issue ASAP so that I will take my next action accordingly.

              Expectation from Citi Credit card Team.
              Please mark my credit card as closed in the database with no due balance and stop sending me reminder on my registered mobile.

                I have Citibank Suvidha account for nearly 18 years now, however on 9th of July the account has been closed by the bank citing I had not provided the details of an IMPS transaction. The beneficiary is none other than my landlord from whom I had been paying the rent online in support of Digital India. I got an email notice stating that I need to provide some information for a transaction else my account will get closed on 9th of June'18. When I called Citibank, I was asked to provide the information related my landlord's Date of Birth and place of birth which is classified as a personal information. The landlord declined to provide that information as it is his personal information and can be misused as I already had his account details. After multiple calls to Citibank, I was told that everything is sorted out and the account will not get closed. Post 9th of June'18, the account functioned without any issues, and i assumed the case is now closed. However, on 9th of July my account has been abruptly closed without any prior information either through email, mail or call. I have been calling Citibank twice in the last 3 days, and both the times the information I received is not matching. The representatives said that I was called and spoken, whereas there has been no call made to me in the last 60 days. Request your attention and Citibank to investigate this matter on priority.

                Citibank is notorious for randomly checking on your transactions. I once got a call from someone claiming to be Citi bank officer from Chennai branch and he wanted to know why did I issue a check to a person XYZ (Who actually is my relative only).

                They even do not accept e-aadhar as a valid proof despite it's made very clear that e-aadhar is as good as printed aadhar.

                I suggest you shift your salary account to some other bank and just close your relationship with Citibank. That's what I did eventually.

                    loan against bharti axa life insurance through citibank

                    Hello All,

                    I have got a similar call asking to pay Rs 30k for BHARTI AXA LIFE INSURANCE policy and under a scheme of CITI BANK I will get a INTEREST FREE home loan, but I need to pay Rs 30000 first for a policy.

                    I want to make you aware that its totally a scam and do not apply for such policy.

                    There is no such scheme by Citi Bank or Bharti Axa or Bajaj Finance or HDFC etc under which you will...

                    Sir, Citibank has forced filly closed by Citibank Account without giving me advance notice on the closure of the bank account. This multinational banks only believes in cheating the retail customers. They can offer credit cards to defaulters without doing the background check but when it comes to closure of the account they are the most process driven company. There were few cheque bounces in my account in the month of Feb & March predominantly because i didnt received my salary as i was on the notice period. But citibank debited my account for the ECS bounce & they even went ahead & closed my account. I request you to please take serious action against Citibank.

                      Issue : My Citibank savings account was hacked and information regarding details was made known to third person
                      -Complaint already registered with Citibank and have provided evidences for investigation. No satisfactory action taken against accused.

                      Incident date : 2nd Feb 2018. whatsapp message sent to me with details of my account. Even have audio evidence wherein the accused admits of getting details of my account from Citibank employee without my consent .

                      This serious security breach many customers account details are exposed to other party without their consent

                        My citibank debit card was hacked and even my registered indian number was cloned. Someone used my card details purchase items on www.alibaba.com worth rs.93000 in a series of multiple transactions.
                        Date of incident was 2nd july, 2018 and there were 3 transactions of worth 16.48 usd, 648.79 usd and 648.79 usd respectively.

                        I have already contacted the citibank for the same.
                        Please request to file a complaint and request the bank to refund the money as soon as possible.

                        I would request to refund the complete amount worth rs, 93558.94

                        Any update from the CITIBANK on this please???
                        Citicard has charged interest of Rs.1152/- + GST of Rs.251/- on my card no.[protected] in June 2018 statement, despite my all payments on or before due date and my yly usage of around rs.2.00 lacs. All these charges be immediately reversed.

                          Absolutely 5 working days now to unblock from no credit to my suvidha savings account.
                          Can some one own it up and take action until resolution. You have no right to play around with customers like this. Enclosed the bounce mail on ecs for your ref. My credit scores are at stake, i am being hit by penal charges for bounces 3rd one in a row now. I need an apology mail for not sending sms alert for putting my account on no credit i have been undergoing so much of mental stress having wedding in the family with no salary drawn from citi account what a shame for a customer who is in relation with bank past 15 yrs.

                          After having heard no response till 4pm ist today after your call i have gone myself with spouse to begumpet branch and met the branch manager and submitted the required kyc document again with a request to delete my sangeetha (Spouse) name as joint account holder which i have requested in 2007 when i travelled to uk for work to take care of financials. Branch manager was clue less when i asked why the sms alert was not sent to me on no credit action which was initiated on 21st june 2019 when a customer atm / ecs / citi balance sms gets updated almost every day why not a simple message for a premier customer like me was not intimated on blockage of my account. I could have handled this situation much better and avoided such hard real life minutes past 29th june date 2019. Absolutely senseless work done by my relationship managers.

                          Can you / someone own it up & help expedite on unblocking the no credit my payroll department says they need another 3 days to get my salary credited into my citi’s suvidha account that means i am going face another couple of ecs bounce on my account after the 2nd july dated ecs bounce which i already had with a charged of 750 irs

                          Hope you understand the situation and act swiftly & resolve the query.

                          I am still waiting from three days now for a call back from citi to unblock my no credit hold to my citi suvidha savings account.

                          It is very disappointing that a customer who has been transacting for almost 14 years with citi both on debit and credit cards been treated so worse, never expected such experience from citi i am living on citi all these years with 100% trust having no other bank account in person. I understand there were couple of bounces for hdfc bank but i want to challenge you to.. Can you show me couple of transactions for citi payments where i denied in paying or crossed the due dates to pay on my ready credit / credit card payments during 2014 till date??

                          Yes i got delayed in hdfc my home loan emi payment twice due to my parents illness which was explained multiple times however you people went ahead and put my account on no creddit on 21 july within the 45 day period from the date of delivery of your letter dt. 17th april for which i communicated to care and they assured my account will not be blocked. Kindly help in reverting back to me on phone [protected] i have already had three service request from care on the same even today ([protected] /[protected]) every care agent says they will prioritize however i have not heard from anyone since friday now the time is 7pm ist. I have a wedding in family, i have no money as my salary was returned back to my company becz of no credit. I have my servants / milk man / my kids auto fellow and van guy & school fees pending to be cleared every 1st of the month…. Please help unblock from no credit to my account asap
                          Do let me know the next procedures to get my account # 54xxxxxx57 back in functioning.

                            Last year i had raised few genuine disputes but they never resolved these but wait for their disputes time frame to exceed so that they can wipe their hands safe saying the same. Ultimately i loose lot of money by this way. Also, their online and telephone services are worst at the core. I have been with them for almost 1o years as a tenured customer no interest or better interest offers but try to loot as much as possible on where ever the loop to earn on me.

                            They do not even pay rewards as per customers requirement though the rewards are earned by the customer through various spending with their card. Also, they do not timely reward interest earnings on savings.

                            I have proofs for all these and there should a forum who take action on these malpractices as reserve bank of india looks always on the bank side though we write and submit any complaint

                              Hi team,
                              This is in regards to my salary account which has been closed by bank a day before when my salary was about to credited without any notice or correspondence sent by bank. I am getting harassed by bank employee. I spend almost more than 6 hour over phone in order to get to know details what wrong with my account. But i was left in middle of no where. When i spoke with manager (Shiv shankar singh) from noida branch he was not ready to help me and he said that this is not fault of bank. I informed him that i never been to abroad in my life you can check my passport also but not ready to listen anything. I have given him my last 3 year bank statement in which its clearly showing that there is no any suspicious transition done from my end. When i called on customer care number in order to file a complaint they informed that 40000 euro transaction has been done. I informed them i haven't received any text or transaction alert that my account has been used in belgium (Europe) i am left with no other option. I have no money in order to pay my rent, electricity bill, food and my mother is medical priority person. Her medication is going on. My salary has been put on hold for next 30 days. There are 3 emi's which i was supposed to pay on 1st of every month but this month i am not able to pay and on top of that bank will charge me bounce fees. My life has been zapardise by bank. I have informed to my lawyer. I will go to court. If any one can look up issue and get back to me as soon as your earliest convenience that would be really appreciable. I tried to knock every possible door in order to seek help. Any assistance will be obilized. Thank in advance for any assistance. Looking forward from team. I am hoping that strict action will be taken against bank and i will be get justice as compensation so that i can feed my family. My family depend upon my wages.

                                That on 22.02.2018 i received a phone call vide mobile no. [protected] on my mobile no. [protected] from a person, whose name i do remember who is represented himself to be agent/representative of citibank an offered me a loan for amount of rs. 2lakhs.in return i was asked to take an insurance policy for rs. 5 lakhs. Since i need of some money i showed interest in the offer.
                                On 23.02.2018 he asked me to send him some documents on what’s up for processing the loan, which i did alongwith rs. 10, 000, which was transferred by me from my account no. [protected], axis bank in to the account of bank of india, account no. [protected], branch name arjunganj, on 27.02.2018 through net banking. Thereafter i received a call from mr. Rahul vide mobile no. [protected], who is represented himself to be an agent and representative of citibank. He asked me to deposit further amount of rs. 28, 500/-which was told by hi, was for loan disbursement link. The said amount of rs. 28, 500/- was transferred by me in the same account through net banking from my account.
                                After two or three days i received a call from mr. Rahul that the link has not been generated due to some technical fault. He further induced me to deposit another amount of rs. 38, 235/- for disbursement of loan amount. He also assured that once the loan amount disburse that rs. 28, 500 alongwith rs. 38, 235/- paid by me would be refunded also with loan amount. Believing on his false representation. I transferred rs. 38, 235/- in the same account from my bank account through net banking.
                                How ever i neither received any loan disbursement link nor any loan loan agreement not the loan amount. Whenever i tried to contact mr. Rahul and the another unknown person there phone would always be switched off.
                                It is clear that from beginning mr. Rahul and the other unknown person had dishonest intention to cheat me and they induced me to pay rs.73, 735/- on one pretext or other for the loan which they had no intention to give and have thus caused wrongful loss of rs. 73, 735/-to me.
                                You are requested to the action against mr. Rahul and other unknown person.

                                      The bank has changed the way transactions and purchases happen with merchants. The amount is on hold and then released to merchants only when they claim for it. And the balance shown is confusing.

                                      This gives a very wrong picture in the statement and is unclear and uninformed on how this was supposed to affect users.

                                      And there was no kind of heads up given to me that this would happen and is not acceptable.
                                      Let me know if I have an option of reverting back to the way my card used to work earlier, Else I'll be happy to switch my banking needs to a different bank with simpler and transparent processes.
