citibank till date not closed this account will effect our cibil

we have citibank credit card limit.1.5 lac have last 10 year and no payment overdue,

we are contact citibank office, they say overdue amount till date 25000 u pay & closed this account

why we bear this amount if already sattle in 2007, citibank cheat us

plz help resolve this issue to closed this account

The guys is abusing over the phone and non stop calling since friday.

    Iam very happy for this reply.

    But i want to say very important matter in this regards. Two days before i received call from [protected] and mis guided me, in this regards one of the your employed said that your credit score is excellent and our city bank team was approved for city bank rewards platinum international credit card for you. I requested him please confirm once again if your city bank team approved about my cibil score then only i will say my pan card number, they given promised to me as there is no any rejection in your application and also after the checking of you credit area we (City bank) finally approved your application.

    After that these words from your team i was informed all my application data to your team, by the end of the day on 27/8/2018 i received one message to my mail id from city bank team your application was rejected.

    I need to know why you rejected my application and i want to show all my noc to you there is no any dues to my loan.

    Especially iam very sad to say your team (City bank) people will giving a wrong commitments like fraud calls to public.

    And also i will refer to my collages my friends and my family members about don't give any your personal data to such a fraud calls.

    Inspite of having all the documents and visiting the branch personally many times the Branch Head Maninder Sra is not allowing to open a bank account.
    She is giving silly reasons like
    1. laptop is broken come another day
    2. Staff is busy come another
    She was even very rude and loud and asking me to leave the bank.

      On 9th of august there were 3 fraud usd transactions on my account.
      Usd 375.92, usd 375.92 and usd 5.
      On 10th of august i had registered a complaint with citibank and also registered a police complaint.

      All the 3 transactions were marked as dispute and citi bank mentioned that they will take these transactions as dispute if the merchant claims these transactions.

      On 21st of aug 2018, there were two exact deductions in my account for 27, 134.98. And now citi bank wants me to raise a police complaint again.

        Dear sir,

        I complained to banking omdusman, mumbai about the special rule of citi bank demanding for utility bill as kyc requirement for dubai residents to open a bank account.
        Other banks like sbi, axis bank dosent have this requirement of this special document.

        But bo, staffs are asking me satisfy citi bank rules when we all know that rbi has clearly mentioned in kyc master plan about the documents required for account opening.
        Why is this bo, staffs favoring this private bank

          Dear sir/madam,
          I am prabhakar rao pateti card holder card # [protected]
          Since i have taken two loans on credit card offered by citi bank in the year 2015 and 2016 between time.
          And i had called citibank and take loan details around nov 6th 2017 and paid the amount in my card account. This is happened as per the direction of citibank caller i have deposited in my card account. And i hope my loans were closed. And after that i forgot my communication with citi.

          After 10 months later that is on today friday 24th august 2018, i got a call from service team which is saying that one of the loan out of two loans were not closed. Even though there is excess amount in the account. But to preclose i need to contact citiphone officer which i did and she says now to preclose i have to pay excess amount of 19000/- rs as it was not closed one load since then but they are deducting emi from the payment i have made to close the loan in the month of nov 2017.

          Is it not hell for the customer to remember after an year after closing the loan?
          What the hell is going on i dont know. I was a customer for citibank past 20+ years. I never seen any back comes back after 1 years to preclose by holding more than a lakh rupees in my credit card account and purposefully not closed my loan looks like.

          Please any one of you can address this issue i would still appreciate citi bank as a customer.

            I am using citibank credit card from last 19 years.
            Having 9172 bonus points since april2016.
            I got one complementary card of citibank indian oil which was free for 1 year.
            I did not used & they sent statement for that card for renewal. I am travelling out of india a lot for work. They blocked my main card bcoz o[censored]npaid amount of just rs1500 which of indian oil renewal and i dont want to renew that card. & i was having 9172 points in another card which has been blocked by them & now they are refusing to reopne my card & even told my 90172 points has been gone which i gained using card since last 19 years.
            I used card 19 years and they gave rewards of loyalty blocking my card.

              I was your credit card, a regular customer, however, due to my financial issue i could not maintain my credit debts with your organization

              I am getting threatening calls and whatsapp messages on my number from different numbers for the recovery of the citi bank debts.

              I was not expecting that being a multinational bank and one of the highest rated banks can do such cheap things to recover their money.

              I got many abusive calls from citi bank, kindly stop abusing otherwise i will take everything to court.

              I don’t want to contact banking court and central bank for this as i am recording everything on my phone.

              I am your existing customer and i don’t want any call from the third party or from the collection agency.

              Sending whatsapp for recovery is illegal, kindly stop threatening this otherwise i will write everything to the central bank and will take everything in a legal way.

                Hi this is savita, i already blocked my card few months back or i think ab year before due to fraud transactions happened on my card however i don't know why u guys r just making money out of me send statements every month for what??? When i already cleared my card!! I also requested for new card that i didn't get it!! I don't know what kind of charges they apply on me!! That's y i just hate citi bank!! I used u guys for quite long time but this is what i gave me 😡 it's so irritating 😠 for me!!

                I paid twice credit card minimum due amount in this august month, still citi bank people deducted 6000 from my savings account for credit card payment with out my notice. Now they are not ok to refund my amount also.

                    Because of personal issue i couldn't pay the credit card bill for the below mentioned credit card number, since i was not using the registered mobile number so i was not aware about the payment dates.
                    Also, i have been trying to pay the bill but since my card is blocked, i m not able to make the payment as well. I had a conversation with customer executive for many times but issue still not resolved.

                    For the sake of good relationship with citi bank, i am requesting you to please wave off the late fine so that i can settle bill asap.

Mai out of india tha isliye lait hui warna kbhi maine citi k card ki payment lait nhi ki hai. Mere pass aur bhi card hai 1 ya 2 din lait ho jaati hai to koi charge nhi lagta hai plz yhe charges reimburse kiye jaye warna yhe card mujhe block krna padega. Yhe aapke bank se relation aacha nhi lga aapse.

                        Hello,

                        I am customer using the Citi bank credit card on daily basis since more than a year now and now i wanted to close the services and dont want to carry on business with you guys because in past few months i have faced may issues regarding service that you guys providing.

                        Fraud transaction happened on my card due to your security glitch.

                        Suggested to block the card and issue the new one which got delivered as CITI bank branch almost after 45 days and menwhile CUSTOMER CARE agent dont have curtsy to ask for the address so need to visit branch and waste my time for 45 days.

                        Address change request took almost 45 days an more and no one is taking responsibility for this.

                        This month payment not accepted due to some issue and charged 300 INR Late fee for which when called in CUSTOMER CARE they said they cant do
                        anything and its all my mistake. When asked for manager he almost stretch call over 25+ minutes and at end even he has not transferred the call.

                        When i explained them that if something happened with my account you should have call me or message me than agent keep on repeating we do not call or inform customer we only do before few days of bill pay after that we keep on charging and customer has to pay.

                        So this is really bad customer service experience, now they arrange called back when i told them to close and do full and final i will use other company credit card and not yours.

                        I never missed payments he checked and then too he said he cant do anything and cant show any good gestures to such GENUINE customer so now i dont want to continue with you guys really disappointed.

                        Referred 8-10 people in last 1 year to Citi bank, now i realize its a mistake that i have done.

                        I am mentally harassed by the CITI bank and the staff and now will file complain against the credit card department for the same that they charged me large amount of bill while i speak with them and even though after that giving ### answers which is not acceptable.

                        I will file complain for mentally harassment and got mentally disturbed due to citi bank and also faced lose of money.

                          I happen to recieve the same call stating that from citi bank i m eligible for a loan of 5 lacs against policy, out of which 10% i have t o pay that is 50 k first and buy bharti axa policy and after which within 15 days i will recieve the loan amount.

                          The people literally force u to make documents submission and payment

                          When researched online i got to know that its a fraud call...

                            I was trying to book railway ticket online. After filling info and got deducted from the payment gateway of Citi bank through IRCTC. Now I am worried that I have lowest amount in my bank and not able to book another one.

                            In this case, I cant book tickets. Resolve the critical issue. Its medical emergency. I have been shoot a mail to railway department. They said might be failure of the gateway transaction from the bank.

                            Concern:
                            (1) If in a certain period it wont confirm and the tickets got sold out.
                            (2) If I am as Customer/Consumer not a responsible for the payment gateway failure.
                            (3) If railway department wont take action because they have been said it is coming from payment gateway.
                            (4) If a bank will tell the technical issue arise.

                            from all the above concerns will happen and noone will be going to understand and resolve the issue. What should I do

                            (1) Shall I go to the consumer court or
                            (2) Shall I file a petition against Railway department
                            (3) Shall I file a case against Citi Bank

                            Kindly suggest and tell me what is the best solution to solve this issue.

                            That available tickets which I have book but didnt get it. Its a big damage and I dont have enough amount in my account.

                            Responsible authority will be charged through a processed form.

                              Hello team,

                              I am writing to your team again as whenever i request for a loan, credit card or check my cibil score it shows the negative score from yourselves. I had cleared my account and the amount was paid in ful on the 14th of october 2009l, i also changed my bank which i did not wish to change because i found no one helpful from your team. It is good my cibil score is good enough and my work gets done but your negative score hurts when people say it still reflects in the credit bureau.
                              I would request someone with knowledge to look into it and remove it. I also wish to file a formal complaint as this was not done proactively from yourselves in all these years. I am unable to attach a copy of the letter received as maximum allowed is 2mb.

                                I am writing this mail to inform you that my account has been hacked without my knowledge and without generating otp via imps. This has happened couple of times, details below,

                                · saturday[protected] at 7:46pm, rs. 15, 000/- with imps ref no.[protected].

                                · saturday[protected] at 7:01pm, rs. 4, 200/- with imps ref no.[protected].

                                Both the incidents happened without my permission and there is no otp generated for the two transactions.

                                (Information has been given with respect to text messages received after the transaction.)

                                I got to know to which account it has been credited through bank statement and i have added this payee on[protected] to transfer amount of rs.20/- for a school donation with ref no citin[protected].

                                  I have using io credit card for more than 4 years. Last april i observed the fuel cashback (0.75%) was not happening, for which i raised complaint and it got resolved. But again it reoccurred again in august month. I believe other customers also will be facing this. I came to know only after seeing the statements. I dont see a proper resolution from citbank on my issue.

                                  I am planning to cancel my card and going to recommend my friends not use it any more.

                                    Hi Team, This is regarding a fraud transaction of 20, 000 Rs. in form of ATM withdrawal when I have my debit card with me, on 5th May there was two fraud transaction 10000 Rs. each. as it came to my notice via receiving SMS, i notified the same to bank via call, and lodge the FIR for same. after 2-3 days i received my amount back. however bank again deduct the same amount at 10th July and asked to submit the required documents (FIR copy, Cut card Copy of debit card, one declaration form), all docs submitted on same day (Citibank =[protected]') its 21 days gone. i still did not receive the amount. in mean time 6-7 times i called to customer care initially CCE asked that it takes max 7 days, and today they are saying it can take 60-90 days, Till now 3 weeks completed, (complaint # nsr[protected]. and they are not able to give any deadline, saying investigation is going on.

                                        Hello,
                                        I have a citi bank rewards credit card. While taking the card i was told that no amc will be charged for this. After receivng the card, in tnc it was said that i will be charged rs 500 for it. I asked them to cancel the card. They said first year is free and second year onwards after taking my permission whether i want to continue and if my spending limit is not exceeding rs 30, 000 they will charge me. I did not get any communication plus they charged me rs 1000. When i called them they said it is a fair charge and they can not do anything about it.
                                        Citibank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        First they keep calling you for credit card application through multiple phone numbers, once I submitted my documents then I receive application rejected as it does not meet our internal policy criteria? and then again they keep calling you to apply, I had got a call from XYZ bank and approved withing 5 days. my cibil score is above 800.
