On 14 feb, 2018 i booked a mobile from flipkart on emi basis with citi bank credit card. After booking immediatley i cancelled the booking (Transcation) and the same was confirmed by flipkart and citi bank with the mails. So if the booking transcation was cancelled means i have not purchased any product so there is no question to pay. But the next month i received when i received citibank bill they have charged my the emi amount for that mobile which i never purchased and the transation was cancelled. I made several calls and mails to both customer care and even forwarded those mails which they have send me about the cancellation of the order. Flipkart is saying that your order was cancelled so we cant do any think same the citi bank is saying after giving there mails. Both are blaming each other and playing games but no body is ready to refund the amount for product which i have never purchased. Like me how much indians citizens are looted by these multinational companies.

    I hold a citi credit card with number [protected]. My total outstanding amount till date is 65123.28/-.

    I have charged the below charges in the month of february and march 2018,

    Date description amount
    [protected] late payment fee 950
    [protected] goods & services tax @18% 535.99
    [protected] [protected]@3.50% (42.0%annual) 2, 027.70
    [protected] late payment fee 950
    [protected] goods & services tax @18% 528.58
    [protected] [protected]@3.50% (42.0%annual) 1, 986.55

    Total of rs. 6978.82/- has been levied on my credit card for two months.

    When i requested for reversal of these charges by explaining my medical issues and financial issues citibank acted very smart and replied to my email explaining the charges.

    Do i not know how these charges are charges and i have accepted my fault for late payments in the mail, do citi bank thinks customers are uneducated?

    Other banks are providing reversal for me and my last reversal request with citi was in august 2017 but they are denying my request now.

    Do they think customer are fools and they can reply anything in the email rather than solving or help the customer?

    This is a pure fraud company who levy high charges on credit cards on late payments and don't even bother about customer relationship with the bank.

    They think they are the boss of the banking industry. One has to understand from the customer perspective at least once in 6 months.

    I would be canceling my citi card. If i continue using it i would be a fool so better to cancel the card rather than maintaining a relationship with this unfaithful bank.

    Whenever I am trying to do an online transaction I am not able to receive my OTP number even for adding payee for fund transfer I am not able to get OAC number to authorize the user

      I used my HDFC ATM card to withdraw Rs.4, 000/- at Citi bank, on 15/03/2018 at 13:38, But money was not dispensed. I received the slip with SER No.002324 stating "0614 Dispenser failure". But the money was debited on 15/03/2018. I request you to kindly arrange to get back Rs.4, 000/- .

        Hi Team,
        I have been your customer for more than 2 years and I'm highly disappointed with the services given to me by a well know bank like citibank.
        On the 14th January there was an unauthorised transaction done from my salary account. An Atm withdrawal of Rs 5000 from kanpur was done and my journey of trouble with citibank begins from there. I requested an immediate block on my account and replacement card was dispatched to me. Card dispatch could be such a pain i experienced with you guys your incapable courier service were unable to dispatch the card giving me following reason:Incorrect address, unable to locate address, unable to locate consignee etc. Call center tried to change the courier aswell and dispatched the card through the post however it was as useless as your courier company finally i received the card after a long wait of 3 months meanwhile I was contacted by your security team on 3 occasions they wanted me to send the documents however this time i wasnt not only disappointed but annoyed I clearly informed them that I would surely send all my documents however I need what I requested for first once card is send and activated I will send the relevant documents. On 5th march I received a call from citibank however due to my odd hours at work I was unable to attend the call I tried calling the number back however it was a one way number and didn't connect, thinking it would be one of your sales call I ignored the call never thought it would bring 1 more trouble from citibank.
        My account was reversed back with Rs 5000 without authorisation and people at your call center is not only incapable of giving me a proper resolution they were also unable to answer me my queries.
        I want this matter to be resolved ASAP so I can close my account and move away from you as you guys are not only incapable of protecting our bank information you are also inefficient, unhelpful and inappropriate to handle our hard earn money.
        Last but not the least I would definitely take this matter to consumer forum and will make sure your bank will suffer as much as i did.

              I was the user of citi credit cards.in 2016 i lost my job still i made the payment till september 2016 and called citi bank to inform that i may not be able to make the payment for oct and nov. I wanted them to not charge late fee and interest and to not block my cards i got to know from them they have reimbursed late fee for aug and sep and my cards will not be close before 3miss of payment however they block my card instantly in sep only.

              Also now they are saying that I did not made the payment for Aug and September. I do not have receipts with me to prove now.. However in their call I have claimed this that I did make the payment for Aug and September and as I recently made the payment then why my card is block kindly unblock it. Which was not done. Now they want me to make the whole wrong charges applied on me.. Kindly help me to sort this out... Also please remove the charges with lat fee and interest as it was not my fault I was always ready to pay the amt. Kindly cooperate me with the legal principle amt and convert the whole sum into emi so I can start paying from now.

                Hi sir,

                I am anulika mishra, a salary based female user of citi credit card.

                I am bother from citi customer support as in 2016 due to lost of job i couldn't make my payment for few of months.

                I requested them a lot please don't apply invalid an unessesary charged on my credit dues but they have double or trible charges as 41%and above interest on my dues. Which is harmed my credit score also.

                Kindly help me to clear my dues with genuine charges which i can make. I am keep following citi head customer service officer by the name of simmi sebastian.

                But he didn't reply properly even he disputes to holding previous certain of thing not even listen not able to understand please i need a justice.

                I am struggled a lot. I want justification.in a year time they have doubled & tribled my dues and forcely asked me to pay. Pls check as at time of give credit card they check our job and salary but if there is any mishappening then don't understand.

                And take some valid action.

                  Citibank has put us in a chicken and egg problem
                  I opened my citibank account and later after a few years made it joint with my relative. My relative being second account holder.

                  Citibank is mandating us that all account holders aadhar must be linked. I don’t understand this requirement. Why do banks need second account holder aadhar in first place?

                  The issue is that my relative’s aadhar is never received since last 3 years and citibank does not accept e-aadhar as a valid proof.

                  Moreover we also find that citibank officials have made a mistake in recording the date of birth of my relative in their system despite all correct documents were submitted at the time of making it joint. As a result my relative is not able to validate themselves over phone. My relative does not have debit card nor online banking access. And if i validate myself and hand over the phone to second account holder, citibank does not like it.

                  This is a chicken and egg problem for us. The only and best option is to close the account which we plan to exercise. We have no complaint but a solution. This post is made in the interest of the consumers.

                    I have been using citibank premier miles credit card since 2016. Despite a timely payment on a regular basis, time and again from august 2017 i am being charged interest + gst. Have tried contacting and talking to the bank via emails, letters and phone calls but no solution has been given yet. 2 days back, got my statement for february and interest charges as a fixed mandatory charge is again reflecting in the statement. Was told by the helpline executives that the bills are system generated so will check and rectify it, but after almost 6 months they are still unable to do so. This shows how this bank force 11 year old customers to stop any communication with citibank. After numerous attempts and escalating my problem, there is no logical and reasonable explanation from the banks end regarding the baseless and false charges.

                      My salary account is in citibank. Since last year everything was okay but suddenly they are asking me that my account required a minimum balance of 1 lakh other wise they will deduct money from my account. When i asked the reason then they confirmed me that my account is no more salary account. However my salary is still getting credited in this bank account. I don't know what to do about their monopoly.

                        I have referred my friend for credit card. He applied through the link i have shared but i didn't receive the credit bonus.

                        I have referred on 20 dec 2017 he applied at the same day and received the card and he is using it now.

                        Still the status of my referral says the card is applied but not moved to approved status but he even received the card.

                          Why is interest charges levied when I paid my credit card payment in tine? Only a small amount different you people putting lot of interest I don't want to pay the amount. I talk to customer care they also not revised my interest amount. Just check my all history I will pay all amount correctly. But this time you people done is not good.If you revised this month statement they only I will pay my balance amount on or before 2nd of march. So kindly revised my late payment amount in this month onwards.

                            Hi, i have applied for citibank credit card online a while back. When i got the verification call i clearly mentioned that i want to know more about the details around bill cycle and credit limit and i dnt know what happend they directly sent the card. As i m not satisfied with credit limit and bill cycle i asked them to cancel the card. They blocked the card and they asking me to pay due credit card maintenance amount. I have not used the card at all and asking me to pay amount. I called customer care of of citibank and sent email multiple times but didnt help.

                              I just returned from the atm after withdrawing money. While in the queue, i asked the guard whether or not 500 rs notes were available, he said yes. Two other people who went in before me, stood in the queue of the adjacent atm machine serviced by icici bank. So i asked the guard are you sure there's cash available. He started replying rudely by saying how many times will i tell you? This is the fifth time i am telling you there's cash. I responded by saying since he is doing his duty, it is his job to tell me. To this he started passing racist comment by saying you people from nagaland do not know how to speak in hindi, do not try to reach me how to do my duty. I will shove a bamboo up your rear and send you back to nagaland. I honestly did not want to argue further as i am a student, and do not want to put my life in jeopardy as i know how racist a place delhi is. And what many people from the northeast have gone through in the past, some even lost their life. But i wish if someone from city bank reads this, some action be taken againstthe guard on duty.                                 Citibank is the most liars, they promised me that they put a block on a charge on my account and promised that i will not be charged or held responsible two months later they come back after i got charged and tell me that they will not disbute the charge
                                Tracy smith left me a detailed voicemail that i was found right and i should sign a paper they sent me and send it back and i will get my money back then a week later she tell me that she cannot disbute it still stay away from thoose rip off bank

                                  On 02-Feb-2018 at 9:11 AM, I received Citi Bank Credit Card transaction message as below

                                  "33.81 USD was spent on your Citi Credit Card ending 4386XXXXXXXX3422 on 02-FEB-18 at WING SNACK EXPRESS. FX rates and charges as per T&Cs. Your available credit limit now is Rs. 1, 156.70. Update your Aadhaar number on your Credit Card by logging in to Citibank Online or Citi Mobile. To Know More, visit http://citi.asia/INaadhaarseeding".

                                  Actually then I was in walking and shocked after seen that message.

                                  Immediately I called to Citi customer care, blocked card. They agreed that it was fraud international transaction, she said.

                                  She told that will try to recover the deducted amount in a month.

                                  I am really worrying to use CITI Credit Card further more. No security in CITI Credit Card.

                                  How do we trust Citi Bank? I don't want to take any risk on that and I request you citi bank to recover this amount ASAP.

                                    My name in aadhaar is muthuraman.
                                    My name in citibank is muthuraman s.
                                    I have been trying to link my citibank account with aadhaar for the past 6 months (Since july / august). For the first 3 months, i tried doing online. I get message saying that name mismatch is identified.
                                    Based on customer care people's advice, i visited citibank, anna salai. Chennai.
                                    Based on the customer service guy' advice, i submitted pan (Additional docment) that bears my name as in citibank.
                                    I have an sms saying my citibank is linked with aadhaar.
                                    But when i cross verified after a month, it was shoking to know my account is not still linked. Such unprofessional. Then again i visited the branch on jan 20th and told i want to change my name in my account.
                                    The guy in counter 1 asked me to submit my pan again.
                                    Today is 30th jan and it looks like the document has not even reached rbi.
                                    I have never felt sbi is much better than citibank.
                                    Having just few branches unlike icici, citibank should have more accountability in these stuffs.

                                        I have raised multiple cases since jan 1st 2018, and they have not been resolved even after a month. The demand draft [rs.90000] was sent to a different address than what was mentioned, it was reiterated to citibank about the same. However, citibank has not made a single attempt to resolve the issue.
                                        Currently, i have raised a query requesting to return the dd and asking how do i do that...? No reply so far.
