Re: citibank checking account my checking account became overdrawn by just $4.00 on sept 6, 2017 and i had an emergency family situation where i had to fly back east topennsylvania early morning at 4:00a. M. The 7th so i contacted citi bank the evening of the 6th thru the 800 # and specifically asked to speak to a supervisor because i could not upload a check into my checking acct via my phone and my bank had already closed and i could not use the atm so i had no other way of putting any money into my acct to cover the nsf, your supervisor informed me i could do an external transfer from one of my other banks into my citi checking and he would monitor my acct to see that if i was hit with a nsf fee he would reverse it, so with his help i made the transaction but because there are no citi banks in pa and my family does not have access to internet i could not keep monitoring my acct until i got back home on the 12th although i did call in one day before getting back to california and found out that they not only hit me with one nsf fee but a bunch of fees. I am trying to find out why they did this and the supervisor whom i trusted was not monitoring my account as he said he would. I can not afford to pay $100s of dollars in fees. This is the first time my account went under like this all because i was out of town. I would like to get this matter taken care of as soon as possible. I have all the proof of my being out of state. Plane tickets, etc. Each time i have talked to someone since i have been back they can't seem to understand what i am trying to explain to them so now i am putting in in writing.

    I had applied for a credit card but they registered my number wrong. My mobile number is [protected] but they registered as [protected].

    I am trying to connect with customer service person but not able to contact because of wrong as they asking for otp to connect.. I need proper proper assistance towards this issue and i hope it will get resolve soon.
    I got a call from supriya citi executive after writting down to social media about this issue but the information is not useful.

      My name is kashinath, this is to inform you that i have recharged for 509/- rs to my jio number on 17/09/2017 at 3.06 am. Amount has deducted from my account but not recharged. Later i spoke to jio customer was telling that recharged amount got declined due to some issues. Below is the message which i got.

      You spent rs 509.00 at www.jio.com on 17/09/2017 at 3:06 am. The transaction id is[protected]. Your jio money account balance is rs. 0.00.

      Please check the status of payment with transaction id[protected].

        I received a message that my file is login for personal loan.
        I haven't sign any forn nor i have submany documents.
        I had mailed this issue to citi bank and its been 15 days they are not providing any solution.
        They are only mailing that they will resolve the issue. Its been a fraud done with me.
        Without my consent how can they put application for loan. It will effect my cibil score.
        Such a bank doing these kind of frauds. Please take action.

        You are sending monthly statement to my registered email, but whenever I open the current statement with my password every time an old statement appears on the screen. Do something in this regard. My Reg email id is -swapankumar.[protected]@rediffmail.com. Reg mob -[protected].
        I have concern with citi bank service . i payment complete bill on time but citi bank wrong charge . late payment fees . i make payment by neft . neft not work in holidays so . citi bank receive payment next due date . citi banking is not good .

          On sep 7th from icici bank account through neft transfer
          But amount not credited to my citi account till now. I already raised complaint through citi bank phone banking officer they closed ticket and mentioned contact icici bank.

          I also contacted icici they said transaction is successful no complaint from their end contact citibank.

            Hi. This is to bring to your notice that citi bank is calling me 15 times a day daily for the reminder of my credit card payment even after i've informed them not to call me during office hours and i am unable to pick calls during my office time.

            Still they call me 15 times harassing me for the payment.

            I am well aware of my credit card payment and i have already informed that due to some financial details issues i had to delay my payment but the bank just don't seem to care about it, asking their executives to call me multiple times in a day causing a lot of harassment repeatedly.

              Is this bank fake or you people wasting our time to send documents.

              I feel citi bank is doing something from customer documents.

              This need to be solved early or else i will raise my complaint towards "forum customer service" about citi bank.

                Hello sir,
                I am pankaj kumar panday. and my CITI bank credit card no. has [protected]. I was purchase a Vu 140 cm (55) full HD LED TV on dated 05.06.2017 Rs 41999/- by flipkart from citi bank credit card no.[protected]. After that I also cancelled this item on dated 05.06.2017 and Flipkart return my balance Rs 41999/- before your last billing date on 12.06.2017 and refund Id has 95135870.
                But citi bank not showing this transaction on my credit card statement in june 2017.
                I want to say that citi bank dues was Rs 34799/- for month of MAY 2017. and last payment date was 12.06.2017 but flipkart refund my amount Rs 41999/- before 12.06.2017. this amount Rs 41999/- has payment against dues of MAY 2017 month Rs 34799/-. But citi bank not showing this transaction in the statement of June 2017.and ADD the charges late fine & interest fine and over dues fine. which this is not legal charge. Because my amount Rs 41999/- credit before 12.06.2017. if citi bank said that this transaction is not valid for payment of dues. Than i want to ask that HDFC bank and CITI are same private bank. and both bank are follow same rule and regulation of RBI bank rule. but HDFC bank deduct dues amount if any amount credit before last payment dues date. i am also send HDFC bank credit card statement. u see carefully HDFC credit card statement of JUNE 2017. and HDFC bank show all success and unsuccessful transaction. But citi bank not show my refund Rs 41999/- amount.
                I was transaction from HDFC bank Rs 20199/- on dated 05.06.2016 by flipkart and i was cancelled this product same day. than HDFC bank show both debit and credit amount in the month of JUNE 2017 statement. and basic of return amount Rs 20199/- show payment against dues of month JUNE 2017. But same days and same condition i was book the LED OF Rs 41999/- and cancelled this item. but u r don't show debit and credit amount.
                i want to ask u that what is the different RBI rule for CITI bank. what is this? are CITI bank follow other RBI rule. what is the different RBI rule for CITI bank and HDFC bank.
                I am attached all HDFC and CITI bank credit card statement for your knowledge.
                I am submitted flipkart Refund screenshot and All valid documents.
                dear sir, i was do the email of citi bank four time. but they are not answer my email. and they do'nt solved my problem. and they charge every month extra interest and other charges.

                    These # at citibank are the rudest people on planet earth. My credit is near perfect. I get approved 99% percent of the time. The 1 only denial, the 1% is... Guess who, you guessed it, citibank! These # prefer to find a reason why not, as opposed to welcoming good paying customers with a perfect payment history.
                    I hate this bank and will do everything in my power to pass the word and never give these # a penny of my money.

                        Serious complaint against citi bank
                        I have a serious complaint against citi bank (Citi card service). My hdfc bank a/c was debited by ecs mode for the amount due to be paid to citi card on 31/8/17. Till this morning (4/9/17) my citi card credit limit is not updated (Increased by the amount paid to ciiti bank). When talked to citiphone officer twice, both quoted rbi rules. Once it was told to me that it would take 24 hours to reflect n my citi card and at another time, it was told to me that it would take 3 working days to do so.
                        I am confused by these information given to me and i request rbi to tell me (Emailing to me only the relevant rule) exactly as to how much time it takes to effect ecs payment.
                        I also request rbi to take serious and prompt actions against citi bank if the bank has not followed rbi rules in this case.
                        I can provide more details if you need to investigate the matter, on hearing from you.
                        In any case, in this modi digital age, why ecs transfers do not take place immediately. Rbi should revise its rules to make transfers faster, say within a few hours.

                          The above transactions neither have been done directly by me nor with the consent of me. Request to take needful action.

                            I had saved my card details at google chrome.. Thinking that, it is very safe.. But on 30 aug 2017 and early morning 31 aug 3017, three fraudulent transactions have been done using my card for online transactions.. Details are as follows:

                            1) 465.51 gbp was spent on 30-aug-17 at paypal *apartmentsl

                            2) 85.00 gbp was spent on 31-aug-17 at the crown & sceptre

                            3) 29.05 gbp was spent at addison lee plc

                            These online fraudulent transactions have been done without sending otp and without login password...

                            Money has been debited from my card account.. Kindly help...

                            Iss bhosri site pe believe mat karna saala chutiya banata hai, iss ne koshish ki thi mere Airtel money se payment karne ki saala complain register hote hi 2 min baad call kar diya woh bhi Subeh 8am par saala kon sa government office Sunday ko open rehta saala chutiya.. Mujhe call kiya [protected] aur bolta hai tumhara Airtel money block kar diya hai iss maa ki Chut saale kar ke dikha
                            I have been trying to contact customer care, but unable to enter my loan number when it asked by IVR because the loan number is alpha numeric.
                            When tried the normal information approach it says the all representatives are busy in handling others...i am not sure how real it is and tried many time and holder for long time

                              I got the below two messages but i have not made any payments.

                              75.00 hnl was spent on your citi credit card ending xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on 02-sep-17 at claro ivr recargas. Fx rates and charges as per t&cs.

                              250.00 hnl was spent on your citi credit card ending xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on 02-sep-17 at claro ivr recargas. Fx rates and charges as per t&cs.

                              I have called the customer care and blocked my card.
                              However please penalize this fraud merchant "claro ivr recargas" and make sure that they are not cheating your valued customers any more.

                                Hi,

                                This is nidhi baranwal. I had salary account with citibank with zero balance facility. My a/c no. Is [protected]. Since i quit my job 8 months back, my account wasn't being credited with salary. After 8 months, without my written permission or prior approval citibank converted my account into individual account and charged rs 600 for nrv and rs 108 as gst.

                                The only mail i got was information on such charges already been deducted from my account. When i called customer care and said my consent was not taken and there were no reasonable prior intimation, she said they had sent a mail which is completely #.

                                My question is how come citibank has authority and such audacity to decide on a customer's behalf.

                                Such reputed bank and this level o[censored]nprofessionalism. I need my refund. It's just not about the money, it is also about the conduct.

                                  Citibank — credit card application 2 reviewsin indrajoy on aug'05' 2017submit a complainti applied for a citibank card along with all my details and that too at the request of one of their customer service executive. But without even giving me proper details of the application form approval process, they rejected it saying
                                  "we have reviewed your application and the annexures provided. We regret to inform you that we are currently unable to approve your application for a citibank card, as the particulars provided by you do not meet our internal policy guidelines."

                                  The same has happened not once but twice. The recent application form no was

                                  We have reviewed the application submitted by you and the documents provided, if any.

                                  We regret our inability to process your credit card application as it does not fulfill our internal policy criteria.

                                  I gave my id proof (Pan card), company id proof, salary slip, even bank account statement.
                                  Still it was rejected. This is not fair as i give my whole details to bank, and i am not even issued the card. My information can be misused and can be illegally reported.

                                  Either all my documents should be returned or the card be issued.

                                      Hi,

                                      This is to bring to your kind attention of some unfair banking practices that i am being subjected to by citibank. I have been holding a savings account with citibank for the past 18 years and unfortunately this is the first time i am experiencing this kind of a service.

                                      Two months back, one fine morning, i realized my account was hacked and a number o[censored]nauthorized transactions were being made on my credit card. I immediately reported the problem and blocked the card. I was told that the old card was blocked and i would be sent a new card in place of that. I also got the new card as promised. However, the unauthorized transactions didn't stop. Even today i am getting notifications for some transactions being made on the old card despite having reported it two months back and blocking the card. I understand they might be allowing the hacker to do this to catch him but what i don't understand is that if they are doing it for a reason that should be at their own risk and cost and not mine. I am charged for all these transactions and i have got a statement for rs. 5, 80, 967.83 this month. Most of the transactions are unauthorized. Going another step ahead, they have charged me an interest of rs. 25, 236.36. What is this for? I informed on call and on email multiple times that i would pay the full amount as soon as this issue is resolved. Moreover, i have given a standing instruction to debit full statement amount every month. They didn't debit the full statement amount last month. They deducted only the minimum amount to be paid. I was hoping that at least by this month the issues would be resolved so i could pay the real outstanding from my side. They went ahead and debited all the amount available in my savings account, i. E. Rs. 2, 81, 237.7, which is wrong and fraudulent. I am okay with that because my outstanding is more than that. But this month's statement includes all unauthorized transactions that were done even after my request to block the card and the confirmation of the same from their side. I have lost all trust with citibank after this. I requested them to close all my relationships with them right away and let me know the final amount to be settled by me after reversing all the unauthorized transactions. I will pay it immediately and close the accounts. But looks like they will only have to pay me because they have deducted more than due. Also, please note that when they are doing reversals they shouldn't credit a lesser amount than the transaction amount, which is what they have done in case of all reversals done so far. It's unethical and unfair by any standard. I emailed this to their head of customer care and copied banking ombudsman for further action. I will write to banking ombudsman separately with more details.

                                      Also, please note that the bank has also authorized some third party agencies to follow up with me for payment. They have been charging me for transactions not made by me despite multiple reminders and have now started using agencies to harass me to make a payment, which is not really due from my side fully. This is harassment and criminal offence. I am looking for advise on possible legal actions that i could initiate against the bank. I have requested banking ombudsman to order an immediate inquiry into this case from their side as well so that the bank realizes what they are doing. I have generally had a good experience in the past whenever i approached them. I hope it happens this time as well. I would appreciate any help that you can provide on this. Thanks in advance.

                                        Hi my name is asha, i am working with wipro (Ec campus - bangalore). I have applied citi credit card and for that i have submitted all necessary documents (Xerox of salary slip, aadhar card, pan card & hard copy of photograph) to mr. Anurag (Who is sitting in ec t17 bangalroe campus) and that time he didn't give any acknowledgement, post which, from past 2 weeks i am calling him to get the status but every time he is giving same answer i will check and update, some times he didn't respond properly but today (21aug2017) i fed-up with his behavior and i went to his place to check the status but i shocked with his worst/stupid answers like "i don't have time to check yours and if you can't wait then go head and apply any other bank credit card" and for this i replied like "this is not the correct way to speak with customers, plz share you manager number, i want to talk to him" for that again he replied like "i wont give, if you want then go and get it from anywhere". I didn't see this type of rude misbehaving person in my career. Guys who are in wipro ec bangalore be care full with him while applying citi credit card.

                                        @citi credit card team: now i am not at all interested with your card as just your agent behaving like this then after getting your card how your customer care team will behave if get any issue. Finally i am requesting you guys this is not the correct way to deal with customers.
