Hai I went 3 times walk-in to the citi bank mount road chennai, the staff assaingned to me are saranath and sowmiya they both of them keep of procrastinating the things I waited on the table they told they will explain me about the products some time but finally they told that they don’t have to support me and they reply me in quick time but that time not came seems these people are educated but still not well trained to support the customers, their approach towards customer is worst I ever seen in my life, didn’t get any details about the account opening yetstill waiting for their reply, they wasted my time and destroying the Citibank’s value simply

    I have applied Citibank credit card a months ego after making me understand by the Citi staff at colaba and he said you are eligible but the bank had been cancelled my application without giving any reason.

    I, sri Tanmoy Mondal, applied for city bank credit card on 25/09/2017 vide application no. BPA0877359 through sales executive Debasish Benerjee. but till date did not received from any end . I have got a sms one month ago " your city bank credit card will be delivery with in 7 working day" but no card received by me for long time.

      Last three days i am trying to call citi bank customer care but not get connected. I want to preclose my personal loan as the interest rates is very high.

        I got a letter from citibank that my citi priority account shall be downgraded to citi proposition if i do not maintain some expected balance of certain amount.

        I needed to understand the terms and conditions of citi proposition account so i initiated online chat with citi representative thru online banking.

        He gave me a shock of my lifetime by saying that if you wish to downgrade to citi proposition you should maintain 6 monthly value of 50lacs in your account.

        I could not believe what he said. I closed the chat and called citi phone officer and recorded the conversation. I was told that i just need to maintain net value of 1 lacs only for citi proposition and it will come with some reduced benefits like less withdrawal power from debit card etc.

        What a huge difference in understanding and banking business processes among citi representatives.

        Soon i shall be closing all my relationship with citibank. It's just hanky-panky!

          I am very upset with the very casual response of your employers, i have given my all docs to the person & the person is not giving me any response about my card, i was in urgency for this card but i called number of times & the girls to whom i have submitted my docs were laughing loudly & even not responding properly. Pl take action on miss pooja on number [protected]. I don't have any complaint number

          Also i will suggest not to take any card of citibank who have no proper response.

            I received acall from citi bank customer care executive for upselling of credit card. His name as he told me is rahul, i softly declined after reading the offers and details about credit card which apparently were not know to him. Post declining i got two calls from him where he used local demeaning language which was in a way threatening. I back tracked the calls and recorded them, as they were answered by some pradeep and shreya (Surely would have changed the names).

            The numbers from which i received the calls are +[protected] and [protected].

            These executives are based out of pune kalyani nagar office.

              Hi sir,

              This is daljeet singh chandhok the citibank credit holder from 2015. I have been trying to reach the right people in citi bank fr0om last 6 months but i am not able to reach to the right people. Many times i have told to share me statement from start till today but they didnt send me.

              I am very upset as i have tried to commit even suicede and wanted to responsible citibank for this.

              I left my job in fedex india in the year 2015 and also i have flat in kandivali charkop platinum tower which we have sold and we are in rent today. I m jobless today and no source of income. Anyone can enquiry about my present status.

              Now the reason to right this mail is i have actually purchase from my credit cars is 40 to 50 k balance on 2015. Now the citi bank is showing me 3.5 lakhs including heavy ingerest charged to pay which i am impossible to even think to repay back to citi bank.

              I have already hired one lawyer to fight against this but before i pay to any lawyer i thouht to reach someone right person who genuinely think this case.

              I am ready to pay somewhat amount of 30 to 40 k will be borrowing with some interest and want to close this account if someone one really want to close this account.

              Pls if you right person pls help me or divert this mail to right person.

                1. Loan applied & approved, confirmed disbursal by citbank by friday (10,[protected] as per the welcome letter given on email on[protected]

                2. Follow - up with customer case to check on[protected]
                A) first call (Around 3:0 pm), answered after a wait of 15 minutes - confirms by agent that the application is in disbursal queue and will be done by eod.
                B) second call (Around 6: 00 pm) - confirms by agent that the application is in disbursal queue and will be done by eod.
                C) call center closes at 7:00 pm, check on chat - confirms by agent that the application is in disbursal queue and will be done by eod. Asked him what is eod - he states 12:00 am. So waiting again
                D) cat services closed at 9:00pm.

                3. Follow up on[protected] :
                A) first call (9:00am) call center did not say any reason why the loan amount was not disbursed. Told a call back with details will be done in 1 our. Generated a complain no after much request. No call back happened
                B second call (10:17am) - (1 our call) - stated loan cannot be disabused today, stating that "customer has requested relation manager that the disbursal to happen on 15", utter and compile lie. Agent told a call back will be arranged in 2-3 hours

                Have seen and delta with, origination to be incompetent and insensitive. But this a new high that citibank has achieved, misquoting a customer with lies to compensate for there incompetents.

                Clearly stated in my loan application, that he loan is for medical emergency. And planning as per the email received from citibank on disbursal. Standing in hospital stranded with patient, with you so called caring bank refusing to help for all of there mistakes. Lie to you, misquoting you.

                Asking about values of the bank and accountability and compensation of te wrong to agents : ans "cannot say anything"

                Not sure why bank ave call centers, when the agent do not have the authority to do anything, nor do they have any information apart from parroting apologies and twisting facts.

                Waiting for the, follow-up call to happen.

                But trust me, if you want to keep your commitments as a father, brother, husband or son, dont bank on citibank for banking need.

                They are as insensitive a brick wit no values for relationship.

                  I bought two mobiles from a retailer on no cost emi. They converted my amount in emi's, the interest which have to be paid should be refunded according to retailer because of no cost emi.

                  I bought phone of rupees 27500/6 = 4583, but i received my emi of rupees 4759 every month, till now i gave 4 emi's and not received the cashback. Can you please let me know what is happening here, there is another mobile in which i am facing the same problem.

                  Should i go to close the account with city bank? Because i have another two credit cards but never face this type of problem. Please help regarding this.

                    Hi have a card of citi bank from 2014 and i was a regular person to pay the amount.
                    In 2015 i have resigned my job due to some reason and i have lost my home and now i m staying on rent. I have faced bad days from last 2 yrs. Now somehow i want to clear my dues which i have defaulted. But whe i asked for stattement they didnt send me and whe they have send half informatin i have seen i habe only 40 to 50 thousand outstanding guineune and they are telling me to py 3 lakhs to close the account. I have no job currently still i thought to conplete my outstanding atleast my principal amount whixh is genuinly i took from citi bank. I cant pay 3 alkhs for sure.

                    Pls tell me how will fight against them and i thinking to go lodge a complain fir against thrm whjch theu have chraged me heavily.

                    Pls suggest how should i move i want to pah the amount but only principal no matter whatever it is.

                      I had received a fraudulent call from a number [protected] on 6/11/17 at 1:56 pm and they told me they were from citibank. They had information of the type of card i had and told me that my points were getting expired and can be converted to cashback provided i confirmed my information.

                      They told half of the card numbers of my citi credit card and asked me to confirm my card details such as expiry date and cvv number to make changes in the citi website. A total of 5 yransactions worth 4752 rs were made fraudulently and it seems that some one from the bank is involved in the same.

                      Please cancel these transactions

                          I, satyajit saha, want to bring it to your kind attention that i am possessing a citi bank credit card (No:[protected]) presently. But after receiving the card (Almost one year back) i have not used the card for any kind of transaction or purchase. Moreover, i yet to create a password for this card. But on 4th nov 2017 i suddenly got a massage from citi bank that a bill amount inr 1180.00/ is pending on my cc card and the due date is 8th nov 2017.
                          Now my question is how did you generate this bill where i yet to make any kind of transaction with this card? I also have not activated that card.
                          One more thing i want to inform you that the card which i was given is charge free card, as communicated by your executive at the time of offering this card. So if the card is free then there is definitely some kind of fraud has happened. As i have not used this card anywhere and did not get any fraud phone call, so i doubt that someone has been probing into your data base and stole the information related to my cc card.
                          So, in this circumstances, i would like to request you that kindly cancel this card so that i could get rid of this kind of future harassments and also cancel the bill which you have generated recently against my credit card.
                          I tried to contact your customer care over phone several times but no one is responding my call. So i am again requesting you to close my card immediately
                          I am expecting a prompt action from your side.

                            By mistakenly i have transferred the amount from my ready credit to saving account bcs i was not aware about this so immediately i transferred the amount back and i called to you customer care executive and i asked about the feature so informed but he said you transfered the amount back so you will not charge any amount but from my account you debited rs 500 than again i called to your team than he said this is a charge for 1 time use it cant be refund, if i dint use any of your service so why i will be pay rs 500 i will go to consumer complaint bcs you are cheating to customer i am not able to login due to that negative amount i transferred the amount also but still not able to login and until i dont login i cant transfer the negative amount from saving to ready credit seriously i will never suggest to anyone to be with citibank, and i will close my credit card and debit card both

                                I have made on line payments of rs33773.76 towards my citi bank credit cards bills on 8/06/2017 from my saving accounts with axis bank f c road branch pune -411004.

                                Axis bank debited the said amount to my accounts on 8/06/2017 only.
                                Citi bank informed me amount is received on 14/06/2017 after due date of payments ie 9/06/2017 hence levied heavy delay fees and interest.
                                Axis bank say payment made to citi bank on 08/06/2017 but citi bank say payment is received on 14/06/2017. Neither citi bank nor axis bank has answer where the money was lying during intervening period ie 8/06/2017 to 14/06/2017. I am a sufferer in process of reporting two different facts by two banks. How to banks report two different facts for same payments and i am sufferer in the process without any fault on my part.
                                Please ask both the bank to resolve the issue and answer where the money was lying during intervening period 8/06/2017 to 14/06/2017.

                                  Before fifteen days back i search a personal loan through online. Some talk with two or three banks my personal loan application is refused. So before three days back one call received from citi bank. (Cit bnak executive mr ravi mehta vide mobile no. Is [protected]. He says that your loan is approved regarding insurance of rs. 11999/- (First time given). Rate of interest is 7.50% of rs 200000/- loan. I say it’s ok. The processing will be start. Before two days back executive says that rs. 29999/- pay the refundable amount pay then your application will be ok i pay rs. 29999/- (Credit recd from my friend) beofre processing he can not says that no payment will be given by me. Now yesterday he says that your application is pending because of gst amount of rs 49999/-. You pay rs. 49999/- so your application is ok.
                                  I say i have no money but he says that you arrange the money from somewhere. I say no but again & again says that you do the payment.

                                  Now he is blackmailing to me for rs 49999/- for gst money.

                                  Please co-operate me and talk to person mr ravi mehta mobile no. Is [protected]. And refund my payment of 11999/- and 29999/- in my account

                                    Application ref no: [protected], first of all thank you for accepting my card application. The reason for this issue with plain & simple, before acceptance & time & again i had requested for the card delivery at my residential pin code 421202.

                                    Following this the card was ignorantly dispatched to my office address pin code - 421101, which is accessible by many courier partners (Trust me, i work in a logistic firm (Pin-code[protected]. Even so the card was dispatch via speed post the hooligans there shared an update stating delivery was attempted but missed which is utter rubbish, as no 1 visited my office premise as per the security at gate.

                                    I need to get the card delivered to my residential pin code - 421202 at the earliest by next week, or you could lose probable good customer? Me.

                                    Kindly get this sorted asap.
