There was an unauthorised international transaction (To netflix usa) on my citibank credit card last month which i reported and the card was blocked and i was issued a new card for a fee of rs 100.
This month also same transaction occurred on my old card (Which was deactivated) but the charges were transferred to my new card.
Though the first unauthorised amount was reverted on my old card and hopefully it will be done again this time on my new card but i am really disappointed with the customer service of citibank as they are not very helpful in resolving this issue and in assuring me that such things won't occur again in future.
Also they are now blocking all the recurring transactions on my old card including the ones which i had authorised. They cannot block individual recurring transaction on a card. Which creates a problem for me as i have few other authorised recurring transactions on my card.

    I have taken loan on my citibank credit card on july-2015. This loan taken over phone and without any paper documentation but voice recording as an agreement. At the time of taking loan i asked the executive minimum three times regarding service tax and she said there is no service tax at all. But starting from november-2016 they suddenly started charging service tax on loan emi’s which in turn increases the emi amount, which is additional charge on customer. I called the customer care and they told me that the rbi has directed with notification to the bank to charge the customer service tax. When i asked them to show the notification they are not providing tithe service tax concept is there from long back while other banks have charging customers service tax with prior informing them before providing the loan. Here citibank people are telling lies because they didn't follow the law properly in order to sell their product, ones rbi tightened the rule they passed the penalty to customers
    I would like citibank to either stop charging this tax or preclose my loan on credit card without pre closure charges.

      I hold citibank saving account for last 6 years.

      I often travel abroad and back to india.
      As a result sometimes its hard for me to be in my specified mailing address given to citibank.

      Incident date : 09-june-2017
      I happen login my citibank and transfer funds, but my transfer was not successful.

      As a result, i contacted citibank customer care and i found that my address is not updated to my latest address and they blocked my bank account.

      As i am outside the country, i informed i cannot come and submit my address proof of my residence in india instead i can send via mail.

      Citi agreed for that and given me address [protected]@citi.com to send my address proof.

      I have sent my address proof and i have received an e mail with issue number : 'citibank=[protected]' address proof - citibank.

      After that citibank says, they cannot unblock my account till i send handwritten address change letter via post.

      This is not solved after so many follow ups.

        I had received a fraudulent call from a number [protected] on 6/8/17 at 5:00 pm and they told me they were from citibank. They had information of the type of card i had and told me that my points were getting expired and can be converted to cashback provided i confirmed my information.

        They told half of the card numbers of my citi credit card and asked me to confirm my card details such as expiry date and cvv number to make changes in the citi website. A total of 4 yransactions worth 4785 rs were made fraudulently and it seems that some one from the bank is involved in the same.

        Please cancel these transactions

        Hi

        I faced the same issue last Year and Rs 14, 000 of fraud transactions happened.
        I have 10+ Years of relationship with citibank and citibank did not even show basic courtesy to support, they simply said you should not disclose the cvv number, they asked to go and register police complaint. Citibank never responded back and their citi-phone is so annoying.

        Once Again I paid the amount, a loss with good intention that it is the end of it and asked citibank people to close the card, but they only blocked the card and they are now charging me annual fees of Rs 1200, the card is blocked but not closed .

        Citibank knows we are not using the card, they do not have minimum courtesy to listen that we dont need your credit card, they force and extract money.

        Very poor response from citibank, unncessarily causing inconvenience to their customers, Many have suffered in this fashion and it is for sure that the people involved are internal citibank people only as the Person who called me and took the details told me my credit card number though I had never used the card even once after I recieved.

        Where are reward points and benefits you talk about, You cannot even give basic protection to the customer.

          Dear citibank,
          Please address the following inconsistencies on your part:
          1. On my request to close credit card, i was assured that on paying outstanding amount inr. 31950.00, my card will be closed. However, it was not closed even though i have cleared the outstanding amount dated, april 11, 2017.
          2. On discussion with your executive, i have been informed that if i had not made any purchase, amount can't be generated on my part. However, inr. 987.87 for april 2017 and subsequently 1025.79 for may 2017 has been generated without solving my issue with you (Citinbank). Kindly address this inconsistency
          3. I have been informed by your executive that you offer me inr.1000.00 cashback for continuing relationship but you don't reveal the information that you are posing the condition that i can't close the card before six months. What kind of customer value offer is this?
          How can you not reveal the information while making some fraudulent offers simultaneously.
          4. Your executive on my request that if he can't resolve the issue, kindly connect me to higher management for resolving the issue says that he will arrange call from manager which i never receive. Why do you keep hierarchy for resolving any issue?
          5. Your executive is not able to address my issue and they keep saying thanking you for continuing relationship with citibank and
          I am your valuable customer.
          5. If i am a valuable customer, kindly give me fair exit for closing your credit card and kindly take back your fraudulent bill of inr. 1025.79 that you have imposed on me.
          6. Do let me know your higher management whom i can explain the issue regarding your fraudulent ways of running credit card business.
          Hoping that you will revert soon and help me to close this credit card.

          Please check the same and close my credit card. The above statement is also invalid as i was already confirmed regarding closure of credit card.

            My creditcard from citi bank has been used to make unauthorised purchases in the US, though citibank has stopped the further transactions and temporarily disabled my card, i am not sure what i have to do to stop citi from charging me for these purchases, they said that since these 2 are authorized already, they cannot stop payments and the litigation has to be taken up with the merchants, until the merchant refunds the amount, i have to pay my bills. Can anyone help or advice on how to deal with this?

              Almost since 1 year, citibank is deducting Rs. 7500 from my account and not providing details on bill nor providing any details on written.
              I raised complaints several times and they say it is deducted as interest rate. They are not giving anything in detail. Pls help.
              I pay my bills regularly without delay and this has bothered me a lot.

              Very bad that reputed banks does this nonsense

                I applied for an indian oil citibank credit card in citibank ref. No. [protected]. They rejected my application without any reason. When i checked with them, they told my cibil is not good. I checked my cibil and it was fine. I again contacted them and they are rejecting the application. This causes frustation to me. I want to know the reason why they have rejected my application.

                  Detailed compliant - I've used CITI bank ATM (ATM ID - 8013) yesterday at 11 AM IST. I entered 1000 rupees and it was deducted from my account balance but only 500 rupees came from the machine. The card that I used was a SBI card. Please help me in getting my 500 rupees redeposited to my account.

                    I am writing you in regards to a failure from your customer services.
                    There has been a theft at my place in last week of March when I was abroad for a business trip. My Citibank credit card has also been stolen.
                    There has been a fraudulent transaction done from my card for the amount Rs. 7422, which I disputed and I challenged the security of the card.
                    Your customer service advisor told me that it has been used without PIN, on which I asked that how is that possible. He said that there are still old machines which takes the payment without PIN. The credit of the same amount was also given to me after I submitted all the relevant details & the Online F.I.R.
                    I got a call yesterday from your customer services saying that they are going to charge me for that and that transaction is a PIN verified transaction.
                    These 2 statements contradicts each other. Moreover, that transaction is also fraudulent. I would like you to take a look in this on priority as I am not going to pay this amount at all.
                    Moreover, I was promised a callback yesterday by a Manager which never happened.

                          I recd mini statement in respect of my credit card ending with **** **** **** 8784 showing total due amount of Rs. 8565.81.
                          I have not spent this amount on my card during APRIL & MAY 2017.
                          I am neither provided with hard copy of my statement nor any statement sent on my email.
                          Can the concerned official intimate me where & when this expenditure of Rs. 8565.81 was incurred thru my credit card no. stated earlier.
                          I am not paying this amount untill I recieve the clarification.

                            All, i've been told is sorry... We can't fix it or we will fix your problem as it escalates and gets worse. Or tonight i got a new response... We are citibank but i can't help since it is the wrong country. When asked to get help in the usa, i was told sorry they cant help me. Aka today is my birthday and i am spending it dealing with citibank. Seriously, much worse. I ordered the card. They balance transferred the wrong amount. Attempted to charge me 0.3% interest on that amount 2x what requested. Wiped out my credit limit. I paid the amount and had cancelled my other credit card not prepared for the b. S. I was in for with them. I had to call bank of america and have them transfer the overpaid amount to wells fargo and then have wells fargo pay cori. Which i did. It doesn't stop there. Over 6 hours of 40 minute hold converstaions with citi and each time re explaining the problem and each call ending it would be addressed. I was also told if i have i have a problem their customer service, they won't call me i have to call them. Same problem weeks later!!! The weekend i needed the card it didn't work. I was guaranteed by citibank it would work by friday with verifying funds. Guess what!!! It didn't work, what. They lied to me again they, citi still had my money and my card didn't work on my birthday weekend. They admitted to wrong doing and credited me $100. Although another week i still don't have money. I have spent another 45 minutes on another phone call and this representative told me tonight on the phone with citi that they will call me. I have had to borrow $950 from a friend on this past friday due to citi lying to me. Total run around, over 8h of my time invested, and my card still doesnt work with them weeks later. Oh yeah, good luck with the app. They entered my birthday wrong. A different birthday than my application so call to find they data entries wrong a different lengthy phone call. Don't use them just because of a good interest rate!!! Total nightmare and complete dishonesty. Ps i still don't have funds. They still have my money. Not one attempt to make this right. No one has called me in 4 weeks of dealing with this. Told they don't call customers multiple times and now tonight told they do. Which is it citi bank? Now that you are 2 grand richer for a month and i am flat broke?

                                I had a EMI for Rs.15004/- for four years.

                                I called bank and asked them for pre-closure and then subsequently called bank on 21st or 22nd April 17 to cancel the preclousre and put back in EMI as I had some emergency expenses. The staff has taken the request and told me call after three days. I called again on 25th and asked the update. The staff asked me to call again after 2 days. I said I’m going abroad and I can’t again and again for the same thing. Told the staff to go ahead and do the cancellation and put back in EMI and I wanted the new statement. The staff told that we cant issue revised statement, but the changes will appear online.

                                I called bank again today, and found that it has not been done. Also found that there is over limit fee and associated tax as well.
                                Again after the discussions, the staff mentioned that within two days, they will call, if call does not come, I have to call.

                                I am totally disappointed and the unprofessional way of business being done by Citibank. When a request is placed, it has to be dealt with in the period and appropriately and customer should be informed. In this case, I have been keep calling again and again without any proper action or feedback from bank. Again today that is the witness that if call does not come in two days, I have to call. Why it is like that, bank has responsibility to call back customer and inform the feedback.
                                Other than that EMI pre-closure amount, I have paid the total outstanding as per last statement.
                                Citibank had to convert that preclousre amount back to EMI, reverse the over limit fee as well as associated tax.
                                I will not call again the bank, and this will be my final communication with bank on this issue.
                                Until this is sorted out, I won’t be making any payments.
                                Please note that I have been using your card more than 22 years and very surprised the way the bank is dealing with such loyal customers.
                                Please elevate to concerned higher authorities and make sure such things does not repeat again for any customer.

                                    The bank has made credit card enquiry without i being applied it for. I have complained several times and there is no response from the team.
                                    Please take action to close the enquiry made on my name without my approval and i being applied it for. This is seriously affecting and having negative impact on my score.

                                      Hi Team,


                                      I have enrolled for city bank salary account on this January.
                                      From day 1, I am not able to log in to city bank online banking.
                                      I have logged request for several time that my online login is not working, but I am getting no help from City Bank. Will you please be kind enough to provide a resolution for my issue or do I need to look for closing this account ?

                                      I have tried

                                      1. New registration

                                      2. Retrieving user ID

                                      3. Retrieving password


                                      Every time getting the below error:

                                        Registering complaint as online fraud transaction on 9th may 2017 amount: 4824.38

                                        Just noticed that i've received citialert transaction email that i made purchase of rs.4824.38 at consim info usa inc so. I just logged in my citibank netbanking and viewed my account summary. It is just showing withdrawn amount of rs.4824.38 without any reference number and purchase subject.

                                        To the best of my knowledge, i confirmed you that i have not done the transaction for this amount rs.4824.38.

                                        I placed the request to citibank to take immediate action
