My Citibank Credit Card statement had Rs. 25914.5 due on me. As a very regular customer , I always pay full amount using the Bank site's E-Pay option.My due date was 08.03.10. Since I have never been a defaulter, I initiated my payment on 05.03.10 using their E-Pay option for payment from my salary account with SBI. The money transaction failed in such a way that money got deducted from my account but did not reach the credit card account. As per Citibank norms, the e-pay option's turn around time is 2-3 days, I had no choice but to initiate another transaction to meet their deadline of 08.03.2010 ,with a common understanding that the failed transaction money in previous attempt would return to me(this happens in all other cases where payee are different than Citibank). To my surprise my second attempt also failed and another Rs25915 got deducted from my account without reaching Credit Card account. Now I have no money in my account and all the amount of two transactions has reached the other end(CitiBank Credit Card). Look at the way, with which they handle a disappointed and frustrated customer. To contact them is so difficult, dial their so-called 24 hr consumer line(which are never available 24-hr,as they claim), go through their forced menu system, and finally when you get to their phone banking officer, always the person will be new and one needs to tell the whole story again and that too on your own phone charges. Besides all these sufferings, the worst part is they accept electronic payments but they cannot return the excess money back electronically to the same account from which they received the money. All the transaction from bank are having a unique ID which appears on both ends of the transactions i.e., sending account and receiving account statements but they- despite agreeing that they have received extra payments can not send me back my money unless further proof is sent to them under a covering letter begging for one's own money. I did what they told me ,I faxed a covering letter with downloaded statement from SBI site of the transaction date. I had proof of faxing two pages but they acknowledged only the receipt of covering letter. Their procedure is like , one has to call back after one hr of faxing and speak to their phone banking officer. Again the same phone menu system, a new officer, a fresh story telling and after holding for a chunk of time they tell you that we have not received the fax sht no.2 (where the proof is enclosed). I again faxed them and again went through their process in the hope that they will initiate a DD in my name. Again, after all the suffering of their phone banking , they first replied with non-receipt of second sheet (of which I had the proof of transmittal).When I told them I have proof of fax transmission , they changed their statement and now said they have received the second sheet but the proof is not adequate, I need to get a debit certificate from SBI bank that-Yes, the transaction has taken place twice from the said account no..That means agin the begging in front of my SBI bank which is a PSU bank and will take its own time but I am already tired now.Now I am really assured they are not going to return my money easily while I am so anxious how to run households for rest of the month with almost nothing in my salary account. What if even they return me my money after I have suffered a lot, what is the cost of all thephone bills I have incurred , What is cost of my sufferings and for what-for the simple reason I used "their" e-pay option and that I did not want to be a defaulter of these giant banks.I am enclosing proofs of statments of both banks (sender and receiver), where anyone can match the transaction IDs of double transactions and see the sender's name and account no.Everything is verified but they want a further proof, to delay as much as possible. They are so callous, when I told them that this is my last transaction with Citibank, they said "OK".

    sir,
    My old city bank credit card number is [protected].somehow from your side my old card has been cancelled and your bank issued me a new card(card no.[protected])in aug-sep.Now i come to know that my old card has been put in to civil and it is creating lot of problems to me in taking loans.I was a regular credit card bill payer and my bills are fully cleared.i want to know why my card and my name has been put into civil.
    kindly help me and check the same as early as possible.

      Sir/Madam,

      I have received duplicate RS1000 notes from citibank ATM(Address:near Alok Hotel,Thane West).one of the notes is from the series 9BL(9BL 855450).I am not sure whether the rest three notes are real or fake.

      Please let me know to whom should i complaint about this,can you please provide me the respective contact number on urgent basis.

        I have got my salary account with CitiBank and on 3rd Feb 2010 my cheque book was stolen for which i called citi customer care and followed there instruction to request stop payment request using cheque.On 24th Feb 2010 , Rs.20,000/- was withdrawn using same cheque book and when I enquired they simply said stop payment request was not registered due to system error.They have got call records where i repeatedly mentioned my cheque book was stolen.Then I said that those cheques were not signed how can you process them to which they replied it can never be processed without verifying signature.I demanded for copy of that cheque and they took long time to reveal that signature was not matched and we are sorry for that.Till Now I have neither recieved cheque nor the amount and I have gone through mental trauma as i urgently needed those money but Citi's approach is very casual.
        Kindly let me know how to proceed on this.

          Hi,

          My Name is G Phani Babu my Issue is i have transfered 3000/ Rs Money on 02-Mar-2010 from Citibank account to SBI bank account online by mistake i have entered some other person bank account number ([protected]) but i have mentioned IFSC code and name correctly . now i have checked in my account amount transfered to that person bank account.
          If account Number and Account holder name not matched how my money transefered into wrong bank account .please check sir.for your reference i am giving Transaction reference Number. [protected].

            I was having a card of yours vide card no [protected] with the limit of 120000/-.Later the usage of the card was changed into a Emi Plan as told by your telecaller.She also told me that your card will be blocked for 6 months and later that will be activated.That was a LIE which came out from a citibank reprentative vide card no [protected] with emi of 4914/-.In my cibil there is a restructured credit card is coming.I wana know what has been informed to the cibil as if this is hamperring my cibil rating i prefer not to pay instead of paying it and also getting your rating ruined.

            The second thing is i wana close this card once in for all with no settlement.Send me the letter for the foreclsoure of the card on mail and also at amy correspondence address.Tell whatever amount is due to you and also give me in writing that what will be reported to the cibil for this card.I dont want words life written off or settled as i am paying whatever is due to you and dont want any rebate from you people.Sir informing you as they cant do any misscommunicatin.And i pay all the dues and again they report the cibil as the settlement or amount written off as earlier also they never kept their words

            My Citibank Credit Card No. [protected] was misused on 28th sept. 2008. Citibank provided me transaction detail and it shows that card is used for making payment to Bharti Airtel. Dates/ times / reference no. is available in detail.

            Complaint is filed with Cyber Cell, Mumbai dated 15/11/2008. Also I filed the complaint with Andheri east Local Police station. There is no satisfactory reply. Matter is still pending. I submitted all documents provided by bank to the investigation authority, Local police and cyber cell as well.

            Could you please help me to resolve the matter

              My name is Vance Mcghee I recently applied for a loan of £1000 on the 4th of february 2010 the loan was accepted and citifinancial said i had to pay £55 as administration fee which they took out of my account they said the money would be deposited into my account in five working day's so far i have had nothing i have tried on numerous occassions to contact them by phone i got through once and spoke to customer services i asked them why they did not contacty me they said they did not make callbacks but they ask for a contact number on their answering machine i recieved paperwork on terms and conditions by e-mail which signed and sent back I still have not recieved any money and that was ten days ago and I still cannot get them to phone me back with an answer to my request for the loan that was promised to me can you please let me know the outcome of this complaint as customer service if you can call them that they don't seem to care at all, I am at present going to see my lawyer with a view to suing citi financial for intent to defraud a member of the public

              2 Months before my loan was finished(that means EMI).It is confirmed ur executive from customercare, but the feb and this month march again you was taken the amount from my account.This is cheating, Why it's happening please revert my amount to my account otherwise i will be going consumer court.

                  I am owning the Citi bank credit card [protected] it got expired on nov 2009, they sent the new card unfortunately i am not in bangalore the card returned and got destroyed, so they closed my
                  credit card and debited all my outstanding amount such as 57000 in my salary suvidha account. As a salaried employee i cant able to pay all outstanding amount in shot, so i contact the customer care but they didnt respond correctly they told you get call within 48 hours from our concerned dept but still i didnt get any calls from citi bank. I want to make it all my outstanding amount in to EMI so i can complete all dues in a period of time. So please contact me and guide me. I am in the poor situation. PLease help me in this case.till this time i made an minimum amount payment correctly

                    I have made the bill payment online from citibank credit card for
                    TWO vodafone numbers [protected] and [protected]

                    Below are the transaction details from the citibank card:

                    VODAFONE ESSAR SOUTH LTD 12/02/2010 3020.00 [protected] CTPH

                    VODAFONE ESSAR SOUTH LTD 12/02/2010 247.00 [protected] CTPH

                    This was not reflected till date; after a day as normally it should have been.
                    I called the customer care they say it is passed on the Vodafone. But Vodafone Customer care says it is not passed on to them. Same can be validated in my credit card statement as well.

                    I do not know if Citibank had not passed it to Vodafone or Vodafone has not reflected this properly.


                    Phone connection [protected] disconnected on 19-Feb and I made the payment to Vodafone again to start the phone connection.

                    Next on 19-Feb again asked the customer care to check; they told i will receive a call back.

                    Want to resolve this complaint soon.

                    Vodafone — Bill Payment not reflecting

                    Hi,


                    I have made the bill payment online from citibank credit card for

                    I called the customer care and logged the complaint after three days complaint no [protected].
                    Complaint was closed saying that citibank has not paid the payment.

                    Asking citibannk C-CARE they say it is passed on the Vodafone. I do not know if Citibank had not passed it to Vodafone or Vodafone has not reflected this properly.


                    Phone connection [protected] disconnected on 19-Feb and I made the payment to Vodafone again to start the phone connection.

                    Next on 20-Feb when I called Customer care to check again the complaint was not taken by the person and disconnected the call.

                    Recently raised the complaints from internet on vodafone site:

                    not sure when when the bill payment will be reflected.

                        pay the remaining 5EMI(pre-close) and try to close as early as possible,
                        when i phoned T. Nagar branch there is no response and
                        no reply from them, I had been very bitter experience against
                        citi financial consumer finance.

                          Hi,

                          I have been using Citi bank credit card for over 10 years now. I had few financial trouble and have defaulted the payment on the cards. Last week, 13th Feb'10 I noticed that the Citibank has deducted money from my Suvidha account without any notification. It reads like "Misc. : COLL SWIPE TWDS CARD#4550XXX2XXXX7002". On calling the helpdesk, initially was transferred between Suvidha account helpdesk and Credit card helpdesk. They informed that as I already had a Suvidha account and as the card was overdue they have deducted the amount.

                          I would like to know if it is legal to do that without any consent. I read throught the Terms and Conditions and did not find any clause for this action.

                          Could anyone please help me with this?

                            SUB : Loan Recovery Harrassement on

                            I have neither taken any loan nor do I use any Credit cards, still I get Harrassment calls from Citi Finance as well as sms on my Idea Mobile number ([protected]) daily. I am fed of telling them that it is a wrong number.

                            Once or twice in a week there are calls about some body named Mr. Satish Jadhav, who is a defaulter, and must have given my Mobile number or may be by error, my Mobile number has been entered as Satish Jadhav. I don’t know who is this Satish Jadhav and who has given my Mobile number as his contact number.

                            If these calls are not ceased immediately I will surely give complaint in writing to Police Department as well as to RBI , because without taking any loans or credit cards, I am getting harrassed by Citi financial Call Centres.

                            Please do the needfull and stop this nuisance immediately. For any other enquiry call me on my Mobile number mentioned below.

                              Hi Team,

                              I have recently applied for a loan with a bank and they have come back telling me that my credit history shows some outstanding. Upon questioning Cibil, I get to know it was reported by Citibank and the card number is [protected]. When I enquired the same on Citibank Customer Care Department, they gave me number for the collections department and I spoke to Reena. She explained me that the only transaction which is causing this overall balance of Rs.97,000 is because of a good health policy that was renewed in the month of January, 2004 for approximately Rs.6,500/- and the balance is all interest. I had not requested for any policy renewal but if the bank did it themselves, why should a customer be liable to pay for it?


                              Please instruct Cibil to writeoff this baseless default being shown in my Credit history.

                                Hello Sir/Madam,
                                I have been using a citibank savings account for past 5 years. Recently when I checked my account statement, I noticed that the bank has been debiting 250/- Rs monthly starting from November 09. When I called them up, I was told that this is because I did not maintain the minimum balance of 25,000/-Rs. When I opened the personal account, it had a minimum balance restriction of 10,000/- Rs. In November,09 they increased that to 25,000/- without sending any formal letter/phone call or exclusive email to me on this subject. On calling up the customer care they informed that they had included a note at the bottom of my account statement in July,09 by email..

                                Increasing the minimum balance from 10,000 to 2500/-, according to me is a very drastic change which I ought to have been informed by the bank, either by phone/letter or even a email with a proper subject and exclusively for this topic. Putting a note of it at the bottom of a regular account statement and sending that statement by mail is a serious flaw in the way the bank communicates information to its customers. Though it over 500/- Rs that I lost,. I feel that I have been cheated by the bank. Is it possible for me to get a refund for this amount and if not, at least can the bank be informed from a govt: source that it needs to look into these issues carefully at least the next time.

                                  Hello,

                                  I have one credit card of Citi Bank since month of May 2009 I am chasing them for some fraud transactions which were never done by me, for a couple of month these guys removed the charges but after that again they put it back on my card, now all my complains are falling to deaf ears and instead these guys don't fail to call and harras me. I have also lodged a police complain with the details provided by the bank but we all know how the Indian Police system works.

                                  Credit Card — REVERSAL OF INSURANCE AMOUNT

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  Sub: Reversal of Mediclaim Policy amount

                                  Before renewal the policy you have to intimate through proper channel. Without my prior permission or approval either by oral or writtern communication insurance policy amount has been renewaled and it was credited to my credit card bill.

                                  Kindly revert those amounts asap.

                                    And i am also very grateful full for all your agents resorting to intimidation or harassment (either verbal or physical, against me and my family in your wrongfull billing debt collection efforts, including acts intended to humiliate publicly or intrude the privacy of the credit card holders’ family members, referees and friends, you have also made threatening and anonymous calls and making false and misleading representations.                                     I had strongly protested on the wrong full billing, and ideally you should provide me a proper explanation with the necessary, documentary evidence(In the year 2004), But i got no response, As a matter of fact there was absolutely no communication(written or verbal about any outstanding bills or the Interest charges or e-mail alerts send to me) So, I guess you where waiting for the Interest to accumulate by purpose? IF NOT THEN WHY THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS?

                                    WHY IT TOOK 3 YEARS TO REPLY ME ?

                                    WHILE ISSUING THE Card you should quote annualized percentage rates (APR) on card products, WHY HAVE YOU NOT GIVEN ME THAT?

                                    I had sent 3 written register post letters(March'2004), with enclosed Citibank Card - And agreed to pay, I have,surrendered my credit card on account of any change in credit card charges to my disadvantage, and i think i am legally he may be permitted to do so without the citibank levying any extra charge for such closure.
                                    Hence, I am no more a Citibank Customer - Just to remind you on that.

                                    WHY WAS MY GREIVANCES/REDRESSAL NOT ADDRESS PROMPTLY WITHOUT INVOLVING DELAYS, AND NOW YOU HAVE STARTED HARRASING ME AFTER 3 YEARS, WHEREIN I AM NO MORE IN INDIA?

                                    WHY THE Interest fee (grace) period – NOT illustrated with examples ?

                                    WHY WAS THE MONTHLY Overdue interest charges— given to me on monthly and annualised basis ?

                                    WHY WAS THE Billing statements— not send to me periodicly?

                                    Please find enclosed a summary of your credit card account from January 2004 to October 2005. Please note that against a total transaction of Rs 62030.67 we have received a payment of Rs 43598.66 only.
                                    As on date the amount outstanding on your aforesaid credit is Rs 102877.64 due to accrual of penal charges on your card account.

                                    CITI BANK-CREDITCARDS — EXCESS INTEREST AND CHARGES NOT AS AGREED/OFFERED

                                    I took a loan of Rs 450000 in november 2006, which was offered by Citi Bank over phone.It was informed that i was given a special offer of less than 9% interest as a special customer.But later they have charged the interest which comes to nearly 90 % !! not 9% (Interest comes to 230000 in 1.5 Years even after paying almost entire principle amount).They are not in a postion to give a computer generated uptodate statement.Instead they are giving a fabricated statement, saying that my loan is closed and transferred to card and hence they can't give computer generated statement since begining.

                                    They have charged some charges, which I was not informed while taking loan.

                                    Citibank Collection Dept — Haressment over the phone

                                    I hold a Citibak card, which is the biggest mistake of my life. The call center guys start harassing me for the entire month.

                                    I have been receiving calls from[protected], 66725900, at least THREE times in a day!!! starting at 8:45 in the morning, which is ridiculous.

                                    And the worse part is that they are giving missed calls and not even having the courage to speak to their own customers.

                                    Please ensure that such harressment has been put a stop over. Despite paying the bills on time, why is citibank harressing us? Strict action should be taken against the bank for this unacceptable behaviour.
                                    We request that the Consumer Grievance Court should immediately look into this matter and save all citibank customers from mental harassment.

                                    Citibank — Harrassment for Incorrect Identity

                                    Hi,

                                    I am getting regular calls from[protected] who are looking for Rahul Banarjee and they ask me to pay off the Loan from Citibank. The person calling (Identity given as Pankaj) donot agree that I am not Rahul Banerjee.

                                    They call on my alternate numbers at Home and tell my family members that they have got a Courier on my name; When i give a callback, they talk to me as Rahul Banerjee asking to pay off some loan.

                                    Finally, I have given my address so that people can come to my residence and Confirm the Identity. Can you please pass on the message to right person as I donot want any violance to take place at my place?

                                    I am totally disturbed and looking for regional head to report the Issue. Can you please help?

                                    respected sir/mam,
                                    With due regards this to register complaint by the name of RAJAT GUPTA that i was using a credit card of (citi bank)for which i was making duley paymnts to the person of colection agency but for some reason they stopped giving me the recits for which i had stopped making payments. now as i am reciding in pune. They keep calling up my mother who is in delhi and if by any chance my mother does not pick up the phone they call at a Army no and keep troubling the officers wife and they are saying that i have ran away.As they took my number from my mother i agreed to pay on 15th of july but they again called her on 10th saying that i was not reachable. With due regards my father is a Ex army officer and they are making his image bad because of me which is not acceptable.
                                    The lady takes the follow up with my mother and also calls at the army no is Raj Balla add of the coleection agency of citi bank in delhi is A-25, Mohan Co-operative Industrial area, mathura road.My cotact no is- [protected].Kindly help me.

                                    Credit Card — harassment for payment while no credit card received by me

                                    Last week I received a call from SBI employee, Delhi, Credit Card Department, stating that you have to pay us a balance of about Rs.12500/- for the credit card utility. I told them that I had never been issued any credit card by SBI though I applied in the year 2005 and 2007 but they declined me without assigning any reasons. In this regard, I had to fire the concerned officials as I also belong to SBI group and if you are not providing me such services as to how you will provide to others. When I asked more details of this credit card, they told me that this card was issued in the year 2001 and they do not have any details about the transactions. They also told me that you have made a payment in the year 2005 while the fact is that I was transferred to Ludhiana in 2002 and to Hyderabad in 2004. I never received any credit card from SBI. When I asked as to from where you got my mobile number, they replied it was received from your original records while the fact is that the Bank provided me this mobile in the year 2007 only and I was not having any mobile prior to that.
                                    Again some body from SBI, Delhi given a ring to me and I explained him everything and advised him to investigate the matter. Instead he is forcing me to pay the amount for such a credit card which was never issued to me. I told him to refer the matter to Consumer Court, for which he is not bothered and told me to go ahead but pay the amount. This is such a typical attitude of such persons who create problems themselves for others and then harass others for their mistakes. I have a doubt they might have withdrawn the amount or used credit card themselves and kept silent for 8 years and now demanding the payment.

                                    Citibank — Collection

                                    Hi,

                                    I am dealing with Citibank credit cards and was paying for the card right on time, until i was affected by recession, but also tried to work out with the collection dept for citibank, ws given many promises but was of no use, and they have also taken so many checks and have asked me to mk a stop payment, as they will get the approval by that time and that's what i did, and also dealing with them since january 2009, and i have also tried to work out to rewite the outstanding and they never fulfilled their promises resulting in to increase my total outstanding on two cards that i hold with the bank, and now they are taking out unautorized payment from my suvidha bank a/c which is with the same bank citibank and also last month they blocked my salary amount, and the next day the withdrawn the funds, the total amount they took out from my bank within the last two months was Rs. 16000 approx.,.

                                    Citibank — Harassment by Citibank Customer Care

                                    I had a Citibank Credit Card, and I used it for a year, when I reached my credit limit I thought of converting payment into EMI so that I can save on interest. I paid for a year via ECS from my previous salary account. I changed company and salary account also changed to Citibank Savings account. I asked customer care to do a standard SI from my new account but after giving numerous reminders and filling n number of forms that never happened. Now since last year I have been paying cash between 1st -9th of every month and each month my family and I get harassed by the number of phone calls received from Citibank Customer Care. Although I never missed on any EMI they still harass me and imply that I might miss on my EMI. I have told Citibank Customer Care repeatedly not call me again and again but still they insist. If I get any more calls I would forced to go to Consumer Court and fight for my mental peace.
                                    please go to consumer court. that is my advise

                                      My wife brought few goods from Shopper's stop citibank credit card in the Shopper Stop Mumbai. As we have policy not to pay credit card bills without printed copy, we called within one month to send printed copy, otherwise we won't pay.

                                      We kept requesting for four months, and everytime we call they say bill has been despatched. When we call for the details of the person who received the courier, the operator ends the call with saying we will revert with details. During this period we received lot of threatning calls and some bad vulgar mouthed collecting agents.

                                      After 4-5 months we received the bill and the compounded interest was adding upto by almost 20% of the bill. After talking to so many people, we were told to pay principal amount and the other part will be reversed.
                                      In fact, this was never reversed.

                                      In another 2-3 years the unpaid interest has compounded to twice of my principal amount. We received lot of threatning calls in odd hours to harass us. But I resisted and ready to fight because, nowhere I was at fault. The way the Citibank payment and interest compounding system is pure looting method to rob till underwears, for innocent / unaware people.

                                      Later, the authorised collecting agency, was ready to compromise all their sins by begging 250/- from me. I told the agent to come with receipt and take money. The person didn't turn up when I was at home and my wife has paid 250/- cash and never asked for receipt. This type we committed blunder in trust.

                                      After two months, we again started receiving threatning and harassing calls. I was arguing that it was settled, but the guys asked for the receipt number, which we didn't take when we paid. Now I realised that this Citibank's credit card and collection system is a well managed fraud to loot / harass innocent people. The collection agents are untrustworthy. I became too aggressive to pay now.

                                      After many times playing tough with the agents and negotiating with Citibank officers I settled for another 250/- in cheque with a citibank receipt saying it is paid full and final.

                                      After a month or so, again I started receiving call saying the credit card is not settled and the Citibank receipt. When I used to ask for clarification on 250/- cheque being deposited in Citibank and reflecting in the statements, the guys used to just hang up.

                                      Now, after 3-4 years I am still getting credit card bill, which is 5 to 6 times my principle amount, even after paying my principle well in time. The 250/- paid for settlement was adjusted against the outstanding.
                                      But thank God, the full and final paid receipt has scared many agents and Citibank officers. Please don't trust any agent and Citibank officers.

                                      Once I had serious talk with a call from Citibank officer and she said the receipt is bogus. I challenged her to give in writing. But she promptly reverted saying your amount is not settled because you should have a letter from bank saying the account is settled. Again something new to harass, loot,.... common man.

                                      After lots of to and fro arguments, but without paying any money, it was agreed that my account is settled. I was so much relieved. But the next month after that I started receiving bill which was revised to almost 2 times the principal amount, which might have been multiplied to 3-4 times. ( I stopped looking to these bills)

                                      Now I get call from Bank officers about my payment, I spend 15 minutes explaining all history, they listen to me and they end up saying sir now payment is settled but what about taking name out of bad credit. This will cost 1500/- Oh my God, what kind of punishment we are getting for somebody's sin.

                                      Still as of today, Citibank is compounding the bill amount month after month even after the bank offiicer from Chennai has agrred that account is settled.

                                      In addition, they beg 1500/- to take name out of bad credit list, with no fault of ours. Sometimes I get so mad to tell world, but I stop because the words I may use at that may ban my message.

                                      Now it is to readers to judge what is right and what is not, assuming we are common man, to whom credit card was issued by Shopper's Stop by forcibly taking signature of innocent citizen. Why all these harassment and abuses for none of our mistake?

                                      I APPRECIATE FEEDBACK ON THIS SITE FROM PEOPLE WHO WERE HARASSED LIKE THIS. ( Ooph, my fingers are tired of writing this and mind is tired to run over this )

                                      Citibank — receiving bills without any card ....

                                      sir/madam
                                      this is to inform you that we have been recieving bills from citi group.. but we havent accepted their card ..the card number written in the bill is[protected]

                                      Citibank Credit Card — Non realisation of credit card outstanding payment

                                      I had paid my credit card (my card No.[protected]) balance outstanding payment vide cheque No.239411 dt.22.2.11 and dropped in citi bank drop box kept by the bankers at Nilgiris, Kaliamman koil street, Natesa nagar, Chennai 92 on 22.2.11. There is no message from the citi bank for receipt of above cheque and when I checked with my ICICI bank that the said cheque has not come for clearance. Whenever I contact the citi bank call centre, they give a negative reply. As advised by them only , I am dropping the payment through cheques at the drop box. SInce more than one week has passed and i did not get proper reply. Similar situation has happened to me towards my payment of Rs.6139.49 due on 28.1.11 on 23.1.11. for which they have charged late fee charges of Rs.600/- whcih needs to be refunded by them for their fault. please take up with citi bank the status of my above cheque and they should not charge the late fee charges which is not the fault of the customers. I am the regular payer of outstanding amount on due date right from the possession of above card. The cheque should not go in unscruplous elements. Please look into and response to me.

                                        My name is Krishna Gopal Sharma & I am holding a card of Citibank([protected]) since 07/2007. I had received a Email on 21/01/2009 from Citibank. The Citibank preapproved a loan on my credit card Rs.340700/-. But I applied for loan than approved amount was Rs.317700/-. After that Citibank send for me a Demand Draft of this amount on my address but Demand Draft till date not received by me. And D.D. has received on 17/02/2009 by any Pinky Singh. I don’t know who is Pinky Singh & D.D. has credit any account. After that I launched a complaint on 22/04/2009 request number [protected]. After some day I received a Email on (27/04/2009 & 29/04/2009) that your complaint resolved with in 5 days but after that till date I don’t received any Email & last three months loan EMI apply on my card & my card has been blocked too.

                                        I want clear this dispute as soon as possible by Citibank otherwise I will take action against Citibank by the help of consumer court & news channel.
