Dear Sir,
I have taken a new mobile no. [protected] two years back. Since then i am receiving phone calls from Citi Bank every week in respect of loan taken by somebody else. I have been requesting them every time that this number is with me now and they should locate the person at his address and not to call me again and again. But they are not listening to it and every week a new person keeps me calling regarding the loan taken by somebody else.

They also do not give me details of the person whom I can contact and get any clarifications for not deleting this telephone numbers from their record.

Please do something.

    PLEASE NOTE I, FILED MY LOAN APPLICATION AND AFTER 5 DAY ON 10.12.2009 I RECEIVED A CALL FROM CITI FINANCIAL PEOPLE BY ROHI FATIMA FROM RAHEJA TOWERS, BRIGADE ROAD AND ASKED TO COME FOR COLLECTING THE CHEQUE . I WENT TO CITI FINACIAL OFFICE SHE TOLD ME THAT MY APPLICATION HAS BEEN APPROVED AND STARTED EXPLIANING ABOUT THE INTEREST RATES, NO. OF INSTALLMENTS, MONEY I WOULD GET FINALLY etc.. etc..

    AFTER SPEAKING TO HER, I DECIDED NOT TO TAKE ANY LOAN, bcz. WHAT EVER THE EXECUTIVE (WHO HAS COME TO ME COLLECTED THE DOCUMENTS) HAS TOLD ME, AND WHAT ROHI TOLD ME IN THE OFFICE ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND WITH WRONG INFORMATION AND ALSO I FEEL I AM PAYING MORE THAN WHAT EXPECTED.

    SO, I REQUEST TO (CITIFINANCIAL PEOPLE), PLEASE SENT BACK MY LOAN APPLICATION AND
    ALL SIGNED DOCUMENTS TO THE ADDRESS MENTIONED IN THE DOCUMENTS.

      Hi, I was holding few credit card and surrendered all of them thought to use my debit card.

      of late i ve applied fresh credit card to ICICI/Kotak Mahindra and Citibank all of them declined to make new credit card. i want to know the reason for the same as i am income tax payer and come in bracket of 30L pa. My ref # with citibank is [protected].

        Hello Sir,

        I am an CITI BANK savings account holder. When ever i deposit a cash in bank they are not adding the deposted amount under withdrawable balance immediately. Temporarly they are crediting under closing balance and after end of day it is reflecting under withdrawable balance. I think so as per RBI policy it should be credited immediately.

        Deposted the cash between 12:30 to 1:00PM. Now the time is 4PM. Till now my credit is not shown under withdrawable balance.

        Attached is the proof.

          My name is Pallavi. I am a lawyer by profession. I also have a problem with Citibank. Some recovery agent calls me from TCS e-serve telling me that i had some Citibank card in my name issued in 2006. This guy irritates me as well as my family. I keep telling them that i have never got a credit card still they keep calling and asking for balance. I fail to understand why they dnt investigate properly. They do all kind of crap and then blame others. I had lost my wallet bk then which had certain documents. it might be that someone misused the docs. So i tell the agent same thing and ask to temme what all docs were used. This guy told me to visit there office not Citibank but the call center. I fail to understand why unnecessarily they trouble people. They dnt help and expect me to come down and help them. They keep sending stupid notices and on top of it they tell me that they will put my name CIBIL.Not only this the callcenter executive whose name is kailash Kumar told that he is calling from CIBIL. He made personal commets as in why i did law and dnt give me your legal . They are harassing me.And i will have problem in future. One more thing i want to ask is that CIBIL is altogether arbitrary. Principle of NAtural Justice are being violated. I read so many complaints which say that or name once put on CIBIL is never struck off. Not only this no notice is given to the person. They just go ahead and list the names. This is a sheer violation of one's right. This is totally crap. Can u temme how to proceed.

            Dear Sir,

            This is to inform that citibank is cheating customer in name of Minimum Monthly balance for Rs. 25000/-. i am citibank customer for 9 years now. Recently i got a communication that i need to maintain the monthly average balance. As per the communication i maintained the Rs. 25000/- cap. But to my astonishment i saw i was charged Rs 250/- Service charge. When i questioned citibank the stupid answer i got was they calculate from 28th of every month to next month 28th. This was not communicated to the customers at all. When questioned why i got a blunt answer it is not citibank policy to inform the customer.

            All citibank customers beware! they can cheat you right under your nose.

            I think the world is revolving two days late for citibank when they say about monthly average balance. When we talk about month it should 1st to 30th. But this is not the case. Look out for these cheats who are howling on our hard earned money. I am not sure whether somebody from citibank is looking into this. but atleast all citibank customers look out.......

            I had same experience. I cancelled my account. I think that is the maximum customer can do.
            I too got cheated by Citibank. First, they started charging surcharges for transactions they were not supposed to charge on and on the card they were not supposed to treat that way. Second, they have charged an annual maintainece charge of 500rs even though I was told, at the time of applying, that it is a life time free credit card. Really, these buggers are looting us. We should treat these people a big lesson. I'm tired of calling up customer care and complaining. Now, I'll just throw the card and ignore all their bill intimations.
            They are big time cheater. I had blocked my card and applied for new one. After all the communication they disconected they call and i thought it's because everything is conveyed.
            After this i got my card blocked but didn't recieve the new card.
            I thought they are not able to issue new card to me because of some issue. And my card also got delinked from my saving account.
            Now after 6 months they are asking me to pay 1123 towards membership fee. when i asked if you didnt give me the new card how can i make remaining 7k purchses to get eligible for membership waiver, they siad your call was disconnected so we couldn't process your request. Now the question is if they didn't process my request how my card got blocked?
            In first 4-5 months i made purchses worth 23k and a total transaction of 30k could waive off my membership but just because they didn't process my request and neither intimated anything to me that my request would not be processed because the call got disconnected.
            The only mistake i had is i didn't call the many times to inquire about my request and only reason for this is i feel it so irritating to call the citibank customer care for there unprofessional response and wastage of time.

              Sir,
              I have been a Citibank credit card holder and have never defauled on the payments. This year my card expired on June/2009. An additional card was also issued to my wife with same expiry date. I had cleared all the credits before its expiry.
              Then I got the bill from period 27/6/09 to 26/07/09 in the month of Aug., 09. Where I found to my surprise that my and the additional card in name of my wife have been used on the dates 2/7/09 and 1/7/09, for Rs 50, 444 respectively. A transanction of 97. Rs in foreign currency was also done on additional card of my wife on 6/07/09.

              I worte to the bank about this misuse and requested to block the card. They did block it immediatly. Their reference to this complaint was "Citibank=[protected]"

              They also charged in the above statement a sum of 750 and 350 as renewal of both the cards, which I never received (later they informed that "the cards were not received at my end and they were returned to us and we destroyed them" It is interesting to nate that I got all the bills on time throughout my long relation with the bank).

              I had informed them that I do not to renew the cards also.

              now I am getting the statements with more and more interest added to the original balance which I never utilised.

              Kindly tell me the remedy what to do

                on my e-mail [protected]@yahoo.com on Sat, 28 November, 2009 for the subject Credit Card Payment Due Date Reminder.

                My due date for payment was generally 6th, or 7th, of every month. But this month the due date for payment Rs 6111.23 is 3rd, December 2009.

                Why citibank changes due date every times ?

                So I will not use the citibank credit card in future. Please cancell my card.

                    this is in reference to my indianoil citi bank card no [protected]. i am a regular user of this card and also pay my dues in time.I had not recd the statement for oct 09. But calculating my purchase i paid Rs 1773 by chque no 309183 dtd 21/10/09 .When i recd the statement for NOV 09 i found Rs 442.97 had been charged to my a/c as interest for non payment of my previous due.I only paid my real charges oRs2946 paid by chque no309187 dtd 3/11/09 and not the interest as there is no fault of mine.I am one o[censored]r customer who always pay the due in time.(Pls check my payment record). So i ud request u to pls waive of the interest and make proper arrangements to sent the bill to my email along with the hardcopy by courier.

                    I have not recieved my credit card statement for last three months, instead i have received the sms that your bill returned undeliverd. I want to state here that I have not changed my residential address and previous to that I use to receive the monthly statements regularly to my residence. Upon my complaint they use to send me sms about the bill amount, but this month till 8/5/2011 i have not received the sms also Now I have to calculate and my the bill on my own without having bill. I thinks CITIBANK want to grab more money from customers. Lastly I have the option to discontinue the card.

                      yesterday i forward complaint against citibank my mobile no. is [protected] and city bank credit card no. is [protected] but no action has been taken still . The citybank dont cares for there customers and this u can see as i had forward complaint yesterday but not a single action has been taken from there side .

                      Citibank Credit Card — Unnecessary Charges.

                      I have this card from Citibank on which they have given me a "Sundaram Health Policy" without any request from my side. After a few months they levied charges on that. And then on they kept leving service tax and latepayment fee every month. This is happening since 2008. I have sent then couple of registered posts to their post box no. telling them to cancell my card and that I am beign asked to pay all this amount without my using the card even once.
                      I have this card which has never been used and has so much amount attched to it. I don't know how to close this whole thing with all the money waived off. Please help.

                        I am amit singh my mobile no. is [protected] and my credit card no. is [protected] . I have made compalint several and had forward mails many times and it is more than six months now . I made my paymant through cheque which was misplace by bank and they got the cheque after few days but they were refusing for recieving my cheque and charged me unnecessary charges . The falt was from bank side and i got call from the bank side but no action has been taken yet .Pls check this matter I am sending u the cocerned mails which i have forwarde to bank and still no action has been taken . I need to settlement of card because they dont know there resposibilites and cheating there customers .

                        I spoke to Vishal Malkoti u can check recording also he is not able to give a single enquiry properly and even he dont the process for citibank properly i told him y i have been charged late payment when i am in touch with u and still my matter has not been solved .Still he was not ready to understand my problem . I have a request from u please forgive me and if possible u please reverse late payment charges nad send me the final bill i want to surreneder my card its a worse experience from citibanak . Its my lifetim bad exeperience u people not even take care of cheque now please do me favour kindly reverse late payment charges .

                        Citibank credit cards — Missing cheques

                        I carry 3 credit cards from Citibank, I drop the cheques at Vasant Kunj ATM in cheques deposit box, and then left india, after returning back I got to know that they have lost my cheques and increased the interest rate, am so disappointed with their service,

                          This is frequent gundagardi of the recovery team of delhi they are forcing a relationship with a customer of their credit card with me .

                          On 22 nov i received a call from the following no [protected] , and without any referance the caller a lady started asking about some Defaulter of their credit card , when i refused to accept the know about that person . that dirty executive have abused me ,my father, mother and even the entire MUSLIM cummunity ,

                          on hearing that she came on her barbaric recover sole and started fourging dirty relation of that client with me . of which i have recorded on my cell phone . Which i will take to The Muslim Board if i don't get a appology from the citi group.

                          I would like advice the criminals which citi bank have hire to stop brothering me , and i want a wrriten appology from bank in next 1 week or i will file care in high cout of Lucknow on behalf of the recording i have on my cell phone .

                              My PF number is MH/35679/6703. i haven been sent an chq from PF office (cqhno.183752) dated 17/06/2009 amounting RS. 13049 drawn onstate bank of india malad(w) br. with covering letter stating chq returned from savings a/c no.[protected] (citibak a/c) closed .chq was favouring beenu kurian my madien name.
                              hence i have sent new letter to pf office charkop .kandiivali(w) with foll doc:(a)copy of marriage certificate.(b)copy of bank passbook.(c) copy of pan card.(d)original chq copy & favouring bank details of south indian bank to which chq need to be sent.
                              kindly request pf office to confirm when will the new chq be sent to the new mailing or will it be credited to my new south indian bank a/c as mentioned in the letter .kindly assist .waiting for reply asap .Beenu jacob

                                  I had two citibank credit cards for several years since 2000, whose payments were made regularly. In 2003, on one card, there was a fradulent transaction made by someone else on internet (the transaction originated from outside India, and I was in India). The transaction came to my notice immediately, and the next day, I notified Citibank help line.
                                  Subsequent to that, I complained several times to Citibank, via Fax to their head office, helpline nos, and telephone calls. AFTER Three months, I was told by citibank that they cannot reverse the transaction and I have to pay, as I did not notify them in time. When I told them that I had notified them the next day, they said complaint has to be filed in a prescribed form (which I was not told for a period of three months). I told the bank helpline that I shall not make the payment of 20000/- (legitimate outstanding on other citibank card) and the card in question till the entry is reversed.
                                  After that for several years, I did not hear from citibank, and no statement was received by me. in 2007, I shifted my residence also.
                                  No I get calls from Citibank agents for repayment of several Lacs of RS. I dispute this matter and do not agree. But the bank has put my name in defaulters list. I would like to resolve the dispute. Please advise.

                                    I have recently shifted my residence due to important MARRIAGE OCCASION OF MY DAUGHTER. But my present house is in my control as the same is my own. Rarely I am visiting my present house. Within short span of one month I am going to hand over the house to buyer of my house. Hence I tried to send email to Citibank for change of my mailing address as : Flat No.101, Krishna Kunj Apartments, 3 rd Lane, Dwarakanagar,Visakhapatnam- 530016.                                       I requested bank to close my credit card in 2006 (October) after I made the full payment over the phone. They agreed that I have a zero balance and can go ahead and take a closure request. Due to some personal problems I couln't follow up them on the closure request.

                                      After 1 year bank people came to my home and told me that you have 60k outstanding on your credit card. I was shocked to hear that and just refused to make the payment. I was in UK that time; and they used to come home every week and used to harrass my family.

                                      The due amount is now 1.16 lakh and I don't know how to settle this issue. I search all the location of the outlets from where these purchasing happened and found all of them are from Noida. I dont live in NOIDA. I got married in 2006 and moved to Bangalore.

                                      How cum I go to NOIDA and make these transactions? There is some big fraud and misusage of my card. I even remembering tearing my card after I placed the request to close the card.

                                      I am actually not able to understand, how cum these transaction happened in NOIDA from my card.

                                      Please help me in settling down this case. I am really worried and want log case against BANK for not taking my request to close the card on time.

                                        There was outstanding amount of Approx. 14,000 on my CITI Bank Personal Loan a/c No. LHIAN24211262, in consultation with CITI Bank DSA – Eagle Couriers ( Add: Flat No. 3, Ground Floor, Prabhat Bldg, B Road, Marine Drive, Mumbai – 400020, Ph: 22071911,[protected] I agreed to settle the loan for the amount of Rs. 12211. This was paid through Demand Draft ( DD No. 612211, Thane Janata Sahakari Bank, Dombivli) on 27th Sept 2009. it was told to me that, after realization of this DD, your loan a/c will be closed and there would be no dues on you, also we would furnish No Dues certificate / Settlement Letter in matter of 2/3 days. However same has not been dispatched by them till now. I am following this agency since then, but I am being told that the letter would couriered to you today / tomorrow but nothing has happened till now. I called up CITI Bank Customer Care and talked tho their executive regarding this case, however as per their data, then loan a/c is still not closed and they are looking to receive Rs. 10,000.
