I have tried booking for a local trip to vedic village kolkata via cleartrip.
A payment of rs. 1914 has been made from my hdfc bank account, however, no confirmation received for the same. I have done the complaints as well but no reply has been received.
Please check on this as soon as possible.
I need the money back for this.
And please try to make the cleartrip payment system user friendly.

    This is in regards to trip id [protected].

    The condition of the hotel (Shimla holiday inn) was pathetic. I had reached there on 24th june afternoon and hotel room was not ready. There was no cleaning done till i reached. I was supposed to get the room ready as it was booked in advance.

    Post when i checked in, the room condition was pathetic. It was not clean. There were hair lying on bedsheet and washroom was looking like public tolet. Attached are the few pictures for the room.

    Curtains are filled with vomiting and it was smeling badly.

    There was no ne available at teh reception in these entire 2 days and no one was responding the reception phne calls as the receiver was placed off the phone to avoid calls from guest room. Have the picture for that reception phone too.

    Imagine i was with my wife and it was our first trip to shimla and we got to see all of this. It was bloody too emabarssing for me to handle the situation. I was not even in a condition to change the hotel as it was weekend and all other hotels were packed.

    I even called the owner of the hotel at night but he also did not help in anything.

    The team was being served in whisky glasses which too made the entire family offended.

    I was always under the impression that booking through clear trip would always be safe and comfortable however the entire trip was ruined because of booking through clear trip. I am surely taking this forward to entire cosical media with the pics of the hotel and feedback about booking through clear trip. I would need my entire money to be refunded for this trip as compensation. Let me know once you guys decide how to take this further. I am available at [protected].

      I booked and cancelled my flight round trip on same day 15th june. Journey date was 17th june from bagdogra to bangalore and return date was 19th june. Because unfortunately meeting in bangalore was postponed just after ticket booking.
      Refunded fare amount was nil. Your webpage shown for such low price round ticket no cancellation fee was credited for cancellation of onward journey, however after onward journey return ticket is allowed to cancel. It is your existing rule (So no chance for me to win in consumer court)'
      Now come to a logical point and explain.in case refund is nil then why you allowed to passenger to cancel onward flight? Reason, this is for your benefits. Because if not cancelled, seat was remain vacant but after cancellation you can sale the same flight seat to other thus you can sale same seat twice without any refund to first party.
      If there is the rule no cancellation whether passenger commits journey or not that is okey, but when you allowed cancellation but without any refund then you may be fallen under legal objection.
      However, i will do nothing. But i expect prompt response from you with concrete logic.

        I have booked a ticket from goa to pune. I have cancelled it well in advance but i didn't receive my refund yet. Airlines have credited to clear trip account but they have not credited me back. I have trying to contact customer care but unable to contact. It has been more than a month that i have not received my refund. I am trying to contact clear trip customer service but they are asking trip i'd. When i am entering it they are saying it invalid. I am not getting what should i do now?

          Booked ticket from cleartrip. Got confirmation too. But while called to hotel as my bus was delayed they said they dont have room so cancelled booking from cleartrip. But dont got any information from the cleartrip site..

          I have booked tickets today. And i dont got the room hotel person told me that they dont have rooms available.. From cleartrip i got the confirmation ticket too but dnt got any mail or msg regarding this unavailability.. Still at 3:36 pm when i called cleartrip executive reply me they are finding alternative.. Its shameful to run buisness like this. I am very much disappointed by such bad service.. The whole day gone but no one is worried to arrange alternative nor inform me about it..

            I, mohan babu madhavan booked a ticket from kochi to sharjah for the air arabia g9 426 (3:55 am) scheduled for 28 june. Payment was completed through credit card but i have not received trip i'd or ticket. And your customer care representative not getting by phone. Please take action as soon as possible. I already sent emails to the customer support regarding the matter and got no response.

              On 17th june, i booked one return ticket for 4 passengers from delhi to kochi for 9th september using cleartrip.

              There was a cleartrip offer going on in that weekend on hdfc credit cards that one can use the coupon code ctwkndhdfc to get an instant discount of rs. 3000 if he books the flight tickets for 3 or more passengers using hdfc credit card for the first time.

              I used that coupon code and the website immediately showed me the discounted price of 18, 576 /- after deducting 3000 rs. From the overall amount. Also, if you are the cleartrip website user, you would know that when you try to book the tickets, by default icici lombard avail insurance check box is checked and if you don't want to avail that, you have to manually uncheck that check box.

              I did the same. I unchecked that check box and used the ctwkndhdfc coupon code. Everything was going fine. The final page showed the payment amount of rs. 20, 176/- (Inclusive of cleartrip convenience fees).

              The moment i clicked on submit to get redirected to the payment page, the page got crashed due to heavy load. I refreshed the page and it automatically took me to the payment page. Again there is a catch there. You won't be able to see the final amount you need to pay on the payment page unless you enter your otp or credit card password. I entered my otp and was shocked to see that automatically my overall payment amount was increased by rs. 4196/- and i ended up paying rs. 24, 372 /-. The amount increased because the insurance was again automatically included and the coupon code that i applied was removed.

              I started calling cleartrip customer care to explain the issue. Initially, i was told that domestic insurance that i got was non-cancellable and non-refundable and the coupon code thing was totally discarded only. I again called up the customer care. This time the executive was little more patient. He had a different opinion altogether. He asked me to call icici lombard directly to get my insurance cancelled but had the same opinion that he can't see any coupon code used while making the payment.

              I tried explaining him the situation but everything went in vain. The suggestion on insurance thing worked out and the request is in process currently but the process on coupon code usage has not even started yet.

              Yesterday (20th june) also i called up the customer care and got an amazing reply. The executive told me that he has the screenshots which tell that no coupon code was applied while doing the booking. Before i could explain him, he cut the call.

              These kind of problems happen very frequently with cleartrip. I don't have any other alternative but to explain the whole issue here as nobody from cleartrip is ready to listen and understand only.

              Below attached are the screenshots for offer details and the coupon code applied which i took while doing booking.

              Hoping to get cleartrip attention on this and an immediate resolution thereafter.

              I was on vacation to India and I booked my return ticket from New Delhi to Patna on 22nd jun and return on 24thjune 2017. But cleartrip cancelled my booking without my permission and didn't give my full refund. Because of their cheating I couldn't make my trip. I will open case against cleartrip once I reach to my home country.
              This people are rubish they don't give clear explanation. I will not recommend anyone to use cleartrip.

                I tried to book a flight ticket through ixigo.com which again redirected to cleartrip.com on 20th june, 2017 for a round trip from "hyderabad" to "mumbai" and return worth rs. 3234/-. For this, money got deducted from my hdfc bank savings account but ticket was not booked and got no information related to this.
                I want my money back or the ticket. I am fed up of trying to contact cleartrip.com as i don't have any trip-id, but it is the primary condition it seems.

                  This is reference to your trailing mail regarding interest charged on the amount which is refunded of rs. 9440/- against total payment made of rs.11336/- but instead of refunding of rs.11336/- you have wrongfully deduct conveyance charges and insurance charges on the aforesaid amount. Please confirmed me why you deduct 1896/-. This is clearly indicates cleartrip.com. Cheating with customer. Flight was cancelled by go air then why conveyance charges & insurance charges bear by customer. I want to know my deduction detail. Here is no fault by me, so return my full amount 11336\- in icici bank credit card last 4 digit no.5006.

                  Please look into the matter otherwise i have no other option to take up the matter with consumer forum.

                    I booked a ticket on 19th june 2017 from cleartrip.com. On payment completion it said that my booking is not confirmed. And they provided a ticket number for future reference. On checking the number it shows number was invalid. There are no specific office e mail for customer support too. And on calling them it asks to enter the ticket number which was told was wrong. I tried contacting on the facebook page too. But to no avail. They don't even provide merchant reference number. Cleartrip is a fraudulent site. I am going to launch a complaint in consumer court if my amount is not refunded.

                      I have cancelled the ticket 3 months back and it was mentioned i will get my money refunded. I booked air india e press ticket that time when i checked with them they said it's already refunded to cleartrip. For so long i m sending mails still not even 1 reply.                         Hello,

                        I recently booked an international round-trip flight from orlando (Mco), florida, united states to bengaluru, karnataka, india through cleartrip.com. There is a single-letter spelling error in my surname, which has an extra "h".

                        The airlines involved is ethihad airways, with some flights operated by jetblue airways. According to the ethihad and jetblue airlines, name change must be initiated by cleartrip, since booking was done through the same. I have made more than 10 phone calls to cleartrip and the airlines and i could not get this issue resolved. This trip is very important to me and i cannot cancel this trip.

                        Cleartrip and ethihad customer care people gave me only one option of cancelling the ticket and get no refund at all! This does not seem right and none of the people i spoke to, had enough knowledge about this particular issue. My experience with both of these customer support centers is very disappointing and i demand a clear explanation on why this issue is not solvable and why isn't anyone knowledgeable about the same.

                        Jetblue airways said they could not resolve this issue as they are only operating the flight.

                        I wasted multiple hours of my time with futile efforts through phone and email to get this issue resolved, with no proper explanation.

                            Dated 15/06/2017, i purchased a ticket as per details given as below:-

                            The date of journey by mistake was given 25/09/2017 instead of 27/09/2017. Just after booking i observed the mistake and immediately cancelled the ticket direct through the airlines. Today i received a message that only rs. 881.00 has been refunded from rs.5810.00 where during the booking it was written that the ticket is refundable.
                            I know you will say all charges deducted are the cancellation charge. So can you explain that is it logical to deduct the rs.5000.00 money only for 10 minutes and for just a mistake.
                            Again i am not traveling with that ticket, you have not to spent anything about me still you are deducting a huge amount.

                            Please try to understand my words from sympathy as well as humanity ground.
                            As i an in the back of the wall you can deduct the total amount too, but it should not as there is no cost spent for me. At least 50% should be refunded.
                            As its a huge loose for me and i surrender my mistake, its my humble request to do the needful to refund me at least 50% of the total cost.

                            Kindly cooperate with me please.

                              I abhilash bheemineni, had booked an activity on clear trip website, the activity was a harleydavidson bike for 8 hours, after my money got deducted by cleartrip they sent a mail that it was for just 2hours, i got a bit confused and called their customer care, i spoke to 2 executives regarding the issue and both of them said that i need not worry about that issue and that was a issue from their side and they said to go ahead with the ride as it is for 8hours only... When i reached the activity spot, they said it was for 2 hours only, again i called cleartrip asking what is wrong with the issue, i nearly spoke to 6 of their staff, and none of them could give the solution, they again changed the word saying sorry sir it is only for 2hrs, i spoke to their head and asked him to check the call recording who said it was for 8hrs, its almost been a month now, my problem still did not get resolved...                                 I booked my flights with cleartrip. Ae when i booked i select with luggage when i reach airport they said this ticket is without luggage charges so i call to customer care i complain on tuesday my complain number is 02886199
                                They told me they will solve out within 2 days now more than 3 days they didn't update anything.
                                I paid extra charges for luggage in dubai airport and may be now i will face same problem on my return flight.

                                  I have tried to book a single ticket from varanasi to bangalore on 13 june, 2017 for 11 july, 2017. The first time i couldnt type in the otp within the stipulated time so i cancelled the transaction and tried to book again but the amount was deducted from bank. This time i entered the otp and the screen displayed bank has declined the payment. But i received an sms from bank that the amount was deducted. I cannot contact the customer care person as the contact number requires a trip id which i do not have. The total amount that got deducted is rs.8928/- i. E rs.4464*2. Kindly request the personnel to refund back my money. Below are the bank transaction details

                                    Our trip ids is [protected] and [protected], we had our flight from bangalore to srinagar on 4th apr 2017 @ 5p. M., our airline was indigo. Due to the irresponsible service of indigo airlines, we had missed the flight. Following this as per the terms for missing a flight, indigo airlines have refunded "no show taxes" amounting to rs.3514 and rs.1004 respectively and have smsed me that the refund will be credited to the travel agent's account, since the booking was through them.

                                    Following this i called the cleartrip customer care no[protected] on 23rd may 2017 for the confirmation on the amounts, the cleartripper who attended me on the matter, confirmed on having received the said amounts and informed that the amount will be credited to my account within 7 working days but i didn't receive any message of credit even after 10 days, so i called the cleartrip customer care no[protected] again & i had to explain the whole matter again, after listening & verifying the details, to my surprise the cleartripper informs me that no amount will be refunded as some charges are to be deducted..

                                    I request the cleartrip company to refund my amount, as i have already lost huge someoff money due to irresponsible service of indigo airlines.

                                      I have attempted to booked a ticket for two from goa to mumbai on 19 may, 2017. The amount was debited from my credit card but the booking failed. I have raised an issue with my bank but as the amount was already deducted from my account i was told to contact the merchant which is cleartrip. Upon many email exchange of providing details, such as reference no., transaction id, and even the bank statement, cleartrip has plainly stated that they have not recieve the amount.
                                      I don't know where else to raise this complain so i am placing my request at this forum to help me.
                                      ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      I have recieved communication from cleartrip, however, in the line of the previous communication saying the complaint is forwarded to accounts team. It's the same mail I recieved before I raise the issue here in this forum. I hope this time I get positive result as I have forwarded a screenshot of the transaction mail and also the reference no. of the bill.

                                        13 june 2017:i booked two flights from aizawl to bangalore worth rs 16014/- and don't get any deatils regarding my booking through e-mail or sms. And i simply got this message:
                                        Thank you for using your sbi debit card 519xx8081 for a purchase worth rs16014.0 on pos [protected] at cleartrip.com txn# 311752.

                                        I want this problem to be solved and receive my hard earned money immediately.
