My trip ID is [protected]. I recently had a pathetic experience using the app..have lost out of Rs 8000 & spent countless hours trying to rectify the problem.

It all started when I tried to book through the cleartrip app that is "advertised" as being mobile friendly. The app was not optimized for my mobile screen size and when I tried to press the "Payment button", this button disappeared. After a few attempts..I was able to enter the payment mode however my tickets got booked with my name and an additional "ex ex TV" at the end of it.To add to it I had 3 sectors and 3 different flights.

While Indigo immediately changed my name, Cleartrip hummed and hawed about Vistara and Jetairways. Countless phonecalls to the call centre (out of 50 employees I spoke to 5 different ones: Tanushree, Shriraj Ankesh, Priyanka & their supervisor Payal Sharma with hardly any success). After one week they came back with the amazing info from their mysterious "backend team".. that the name change is simply not possible. Here were my options:

Vistara: allows for a full refund on the condition that I rebook on Vistara...where the same flight now costed 16, 000+
Jetairways: allows for a change in 3 characters exceeding which, this unrefundable ticket has to be cancelled..

Needless to say, horrendous customer service Cleartrip..they should refrain from advertising yourselves as being mobile friendly.

    I had filled the train reservation form today around 2.15pm from CLEARTRIP, UP of kolkata rajdhani for 23rd december 2016. i have payed money by debit card. money has been deducted but the agency didn't give/sent ticket instead my money. this site/ agency is carrying the IRCTC logo but they are fraud. ATMSBI has been confirmed me by the message in my phone, exactly it is "Thank you for using your SBI Debit Card 459XX0071 for a purchase worth Rs 1699 on POS 99010027 at CLEARTRIP TRAVEL SERVICE txn#[protected]." now i want to back my money.

      Made online booking on nov 30th, 2016 from cleartrip.com (Id: [protected]) for air tickets (Refundable) from delhi to lucknow (To & fro), and hotel. Air tickets received were of wrong dates (Jan'2017 instead of dec'2016), whereas hotel booking was ok. Immediately informed cleartrip about the error. Despite airlines keeping 6 hours for correcting booking errors free of charge, cleartrip didn't contact jet airways for corrections and deducted 75% of the airticket amount for ticket cancellation. I was refunded only rs 990 out of rs 4637 because of cleartrip mistake. Later, their customer care executive assured of compensation, but there has been no response. Follow up emails have been unanswered.

      Kindly help in recovering full compensation of rs 4650 from cleartrip for ticket cancellation due to booking error, as delay in informing the airlines about change was from cleartrip's end. I had informed cleartrip about error within 30 minutes of booking tickets by email & call.

        Sir,
        I had tried booking 3 round trip ticket from Pune to Bangalore on 6th Dec for my journey from 21st to 26th Dec. However tickets were not booked due to technical issues with the site and it was told that no amount will be deducted, however ticket amount Of INR 17226 has been deducted by bank and there's no refund even after 12 business days. No pnr or booking Id available.

          I have made booking with cleartrip for 3 passengers with around 12K amount. And then paid another 3200 rupees directly to the airlines for rescheduling . I had to made partital cancellation for 2 passengers and airlines said whatever amount i paid for rescheduling they used for cancellation and rest of the amount they paid to cleartrip( 5808 rupees). But cleartrip refunded me only 1700 rupees. they are saying you have paid 8000 only to cleartrip for 2 passengers and 4450 is airlines cancellation charges. they are ignoring the fact that airlines has deducted some cancellation charges from the amount i directly paid to the airlines. thats y refund amount is 5808 ruppes to cleartrip. otherwise they should have received[protected]= 3550) from the airlines as refund not 5808 rupees. I have called them many times and seems like they dont want to understand or there staff is not capable enough. My Cleartrip Trip ID: [protected]

            My Booking enquiry ID [protected] and [protected] dated 19th Dec. I have paid Rs500 for each booking so in total 1000Rs. Later since I got the confirmation directly from the place I wanted booking, I wanted to cancel the above booking enquiry made to cleartrip as on 19th Dec.

            There is no cancellation link available online though they claim in their advertisements for hassle free transactions. I called up their help center number on 19th dec itself, to cancel the same. Call support representative Seema, first mentioned only 50% would be refunded. with some tiff and argument and placing my call on hold for number of times, she agreed that i'll get 100% refund after 48hrs. She agreed to send written confirmation on same but I have not received the same till to date.

            I wanted full refund with apology letter for making me go through it.

            I book a train ticket but not suscceful. clertrip inform to us the auto refund the money to account . i get sms refund the amount but still i check not refund and not reply anything .. so so much people same treat if dont check properly so much amount going wronly .

              Hello sir..

                Hi,

                My cleartrip id is [protected]. Indigo airlines cancelled the flight from mumbai to chandigarh on 17th december 2016 due to operational reasons. I asked for full refund and natasha, a cleartrip executive told me i will receive full refund deducting the convenience fee of rs 375. I have now received an email from cleartrip where along with the convenience fee of rs 375 they have also deducted rs 900 againist wallet cashback. Why should this be deducted as it was not a discount offered to me in terms of cash return to my bank account it was a promotional offer where an amount was sent to cleartrip wallet and i have not even used the same. This is just not acceptable

                  Cleartrip i have booked roundtrip flight ticket through cleartrip for my dad.

                  Trip id is [protected].

                  Ticket states that booking is confirmed and payment made was rs.5809/-.

                  When my dad arrived at airport, he came to know that booking has not been done and he was forced to take a new ticket right away at higher cost.

                  Though ticket shows booking is confirmed, ticket was not confirmed.

                  When i talked to customer care they said sorry sir we will make you 100% refund.

                    My spicejet flight for gorakhpur-kolkata was cancelled by spicejet airlines and full refund was initiated on 1st dec, 16 itself due to bad weather.
                    Screenshot atttached.
                    Since i have booked through cleartrip, i was supposed to get the amount from them. Inspite of endless calls i haven't recieved my amount yet. They just say me that it's in progress. But have not received any mail or message.
                    Kindly look into it with priority.

                        I have some amount in my cleartrip wallet (wallet is a service by cleartrip where your refund amount you can store and use it for your next bookings), its from my cancellation of flight booking Trip ID : [protected], for last 6 months I'm trying to use that money but there is no single option given by cleartrip to select the amount and use, called the customer center many times but everytime they keep fooling around and always after sometime the call is disconnected without any materialisation, I guess they are cheating customers so they keep the customer engaged on call and disconnect, one calls them again thinking that it must have got disconnected by mistake but they keep on repeating the same ;I;m sure they have trained their customer care call center employees the trick of how to avoid the customers who have money in the cleartrip wallet.

                        I need a solution from cleartrip to rectify this at the earliest

                          I booked a Air Pegasus flight from Bangalore to Kochi through cleartrip.com. But the airline cancelled the flight. The booking was for August 13 2016. Not only I had to look for last minute travel arrangements cleartrip has failed to refund the money. I sent many mail to both cleartrip and Air pegasus asking to refund the money. Also spoke with their agents. Air pegasus says they have refunded the money on Aug 10th itself but cleartrip says they have not received the refund from Air Pegasus. I have lost the hope of gwetting the refund money now. Cleartrip agent said they can't help and asked to forget the money. Very bad experience with cleartrip. Since I booked through cleartrip I expected a refund from them.

                            I booked a flight from Delhi to Bengaluru, and I recieved a cash back for Rs.1151/- However, I am unable to use this money for my trasaction via clear trip. I assume this Cashback offer is used to fraud people as nothing related to the restrictions o[censored]sing this cashback was mention along with promotion of this offer.
                            I would appreciate if the concerned authorities take the necessary measures to solve this issue. Either let me use it for other activities or give an extension to Cash in my ClearTrip wallet. This is hard earned money and I hope you realise you have no right to just steal it from us by naming a Vality period expiration.

                              Hi,

                              I had initiated the booking for hotel and started the payment process online. During the booking, I had opted for the refund option of room for protection which says that if we pay 4% amount then we are eligible for 70 percent refund on cancellation.

                              The payment failed due to some bank network issues and the room was not booked. Later, I got a call from cleartrip that the payment can be made through the link sent over the mail by them. So I made the payment through the link and it was successful.

                              After this, they said that I am not eligible for the 70 percent refund as this payment has been done over the phone, even if I initiated the process online.

                                I booked my ticket through Clear Trip portal on 25th Nov and I had to catch Jet Airways flight 9W-302 at 9:45 AM from DEL to BOM on 10th Dec 2016.
                                I reached at the Airport at 8:40 at was in queue for checking in after waiting for so much time due to very slow movement of the queue and crowd I reached at the counter at 9:10 and the staff did not let me check in saying the flight is closed and they called out for Mumbai flight at 9:00 AM.
                                I was there in the queue since 8:40 and there was no call out by the staff. They behaved very rudely and cancelled my flight stating “No Show” instead of guiding me to the gate to board they cancelled our ticket while we had enough time to get board as it is written over the ticket that 25 min prior gates will be closed. I was still having 30-35 minutes to board. The lady at the counter wrote "09:13 RT" at my ticket which dont understand what is it. They said you can talk to your agent portal regarding the refund as I booked the ticket through “Clear Trip” portal and their customer care agent says they can’t process the refund as the ticket is cancelled by the airline mentioning “No show”.
                                I need urgent intervention on this with for refund as it was the mistake by Jet airways staff, there was no callout at all and I was there on time. They who can refund the money and loss.
                                We were 3 passengers and lost the total money.

                                  Air Pegasus airline flight was scheduled for 23-Dec-2016 from Bangalore to Goa.

                                  On 30-Sep-2016, Air Pegasus cancelled it's flight for the above trip.

                                  Same day I have called cleartrip customer service and cancelled both the trip IDs.

                                  Till now I have not received my refund.

                                  By now two and half months completed and I have called several times the cleartrip customer service but the reply is "you will get your refund for sure"...but when? How long I should wait?

                                  Please consider this issue on high priority and make all the necessary arrangements to process the refund at the earliest.

                                    AND REFUND TAXES.
                                    CLEAR TRIP AFTER SEVERAL CALLS to Miss Jyoti REFUSED TO REFUND PASSING BUCK ON SINGAPORE AIRLINES. Finally i was told she left Airline. Next Agent Miss Evan did the same.
                                    SINGAPORE AIRLINES MISS SHERRON[protected] CONFIRMED THE REFUND OF Rs 23500 is payable out of Rs 39000/-
                                    All recordings are available.
                                    I Strongly ALERT PUBLIC TO BE CAREFUL WHILE MAKING BOOKINGS THRU CLEAR TRIP.

                                      i made purchase ticket yesterday from cleartrip website abudhabi to trichy in 13 june2017and baggage allowance showing 40 plus 7 now i double check with your customercare he said only 30.so cleartrip cheating customer before thay showing 40kg.and after booking he said 30kg.this means your cheating the customer, this is not good for cleatrip.customer trusting cleartrip if you doing same like this you will losse all customer, please do nessesary action for this compalint and reply me this is my trip id :Trip ID [protected]

                                        Cleartrip says something on call and refund something else

                                        I shall never use cleartrip

                                        Point no 1: "if you cancel your booking (In part or full)" i haven't cancel its airline who had cancelled

                                        Point no 2: cleartriper executive itself confirm on 04/11/2016, the night flight was cancelled that we will refund entire amount of nearby 9250 deducting convenience fee with having call conference with spicejet executive mr kamaljeet

                                        So after 20 days of multiple emails cleartrip just changes rules as per their convenience

                                        Point 3: i paid 17654 (+ 2000 wallet) = 19564 /- (It means cleartrip has to pay 19564 /- to spicejet, without excluding any commission)
                                        Now spicejet refunded 10034/- to cleartrip

                                        Now cleartrip refunded me 5954 so here out of[protected] = 13610 which left with cleartrip including my wallet money which i earn on previous booking, and not to confuse with 2500 of this booking

                                        O here cleartrip have 13610 + 10064 (Spicejet refund) = 23674/-
                                        Now cleartrip says we have given you 2500 so lets deduct it :[protected] = 21, 174 /-

                                        Here is what concern me that is cleartrip have to pay only 19564 /- and having 21, 174 /- (Even not including your commission with airline or also deducting 2500 paid to me) there is clear difference of 1610/-

                                        O here due to flight cancellation of airline : 1: i have to paid extra and book other flight (I understand i cant blam cleartrip for this)

                                        2: cleartrip confirm full refund same day accepting on call since its airline who had cancelled and not you so we will refund full (Cleartrip shall take responsibility)

                                        3: due to flight cancellation of airline actually out of my booking, cleartrip earning 1610/- despite even deduction of 2500 + conviencecy fee

                                        4: i (Customer loose) money despite not having service

                                        Prove my above calculation wrong and i shall accept your deductions, otherwise humbly accept there is flaw in your policy that when airline cancel flight, actually cleartrip earns more when cleartrip get refund from airline, which on name of policy cleartrip not want to give back or refund or as as wallet too.
                                        ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
